What does this duo of closely intwined political allies have to smile about?

Here is Rafael Correa  and US Ambassador Linda Jewell in Quito.

This is the slap on the face to all freedom fighters in the Western Hemisphere.

I would expect such happiness on Cuba’s, Venezuela’s, Iran’s …. Ambassadors, not the US Ambassador.

It is now crystal clear that Jewell is an enemy of freedom and democracy. She does not represent US interests as is her duty. Jewell cannot help herself in showing her personal political tendency. Who does she really represent?

This is not the first time she shows her full support for Correa, Jewell already supported him during his second round campaign, making him look like somebody that will respect private property.

The Ambassador to the US met with him between the first and second round elections (she did not meet the right wing candidate). USAID contractors’ paid employees made a cheerful reception to the leftist to help him look like a-not-so-far-leftist.

Is the US Ambassador also planning to fund the “referendum” and “Constitutional Assembly” to implant the Hugo Chavez Bolivarian constitution (COMMUNISM)in Ecuador? I would not be surprised after what I have seen.

Jewell deserves a promotion to the Middle East. Ahmadinejad is for sure proud of her performance.

I do not care what diplomats say. This is NOT honest diplomacy.
