ECUADOREANS FACE THEIR OWN DELUSIONS as DEMOCRACY is STRANGLED by CORREA: INSULZA IGNORES FACTS AND IS SEEN TO RELY ON HUSTLER STYLE PORN

March 10, 2007    It is a well known fact that Ecuadorean president Rafael Correa should be impeached for his obvious and unconstitutional compulsion to convert the Republic of Ecuador into a satellite nation of Hugo Chavez. The new Princeling of authoritarianism and criminality has often stated his intentions to do just this to anyone who listens. The problem is: Ecuadoreans have chosen to pretend that Correa was not serious in his convertibility plan to convert his nation from a nascent democracy to a non-democracy. In fact, Ecuadoreans have done just about all they can to participate in the dysfunctional activities that have led to the utter abandonment of normative principles of a functional state. Their embarrassing reluctance to stand for principled support for their own Republic over the last few weeks has positioned Ecuadoreans to fail not only their neighbors but themselves as the nation spirals out of control with few self informed enough to stand against Correa’s crime spree and planned attack on his own people. Edmund Burke would remind of the truism of his adage that all that is required for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing. Such is the case in Ecuador today.

Correa has a plan to destroy Ecuador and the pro-democracy activists have none  to build Ecuador. This leaves the country with a leader- intent on all power- steamrolling over an unprepared and poorly informed population. Correa cynically looks on his supporters as willing dupes: easily tricked or snookered souls. Correa’s plan for Ecuador is about as wicked as can be as it benefits none but his own politburo of international scofflaws, deadbeats, self-enriching kleptocrats, cynics and paid protesters. It is a time honored plan to destabilize opponents and it happens to be one of the worst plans mankind ever devised. To understand the step by step plan held by Rafael Correa is to understand Chavez’s Machiavellian inner group.

Accuse, confuse, divide and conquer is Correa’s plan.

  • Correa has accused persons of principle who uphold law and order as on the wrong side of history…that is his history.
  • Correa has confused the public through his relentless and well paid misinformation propaganda campaigns that Ecuador deserves to ignore law and order and common sense in order to somehow achieve what it will never achieve with any of life’s blessings: a replica of Castro’s gulags. To live in Ecuador today is to engage in the utter foolishness that Castro’s criminality is sacrosanct and Colombia’s Uribe is evil and must go. Of course Correa has plenty of help in this mental aberration underway: he enjoys Chavez’s money and the stunning support of the pro-drug trade/anti Uribe groups well funded by Soros and other pro-FARC adventurers who have recently come forward to support Hamas which is affianced with Hezbollah.
  • Correa has divided the advocates of functional or constitutional democratic freedoms and their remaining advocates in the Congress of Ecuador, violently sending in his goon squads to physically attack those remaining against Correa’s communism and force their ouster to hand himself not only kangaroo courts but a kangaroo congress to rubber stamp his foolishness
  • Correa’s coup de grace is to conquer with all levers of power under his hands, abusing the political process as a cover for his financial gambits, self enrichment schemes and utterly illicit manipulation of Ecuador’s resources.

Correa’s plan to replace democracy with authoritarianism and destroy what is left of legitimate constitutional democracy is working today, thanks to his new support.

From the completely incorrect support for Correa’s communism by none other than the head of the OAS, Sr. Insulza. In fact, Insulza’s words are not only misguided but lack legitimacy as Insulza simply parroted/mimicked Correa’s propaganda without so much as a by your leave and utterly no fact finding, revealing once again why it is that freedom lovers seek Insulza’s removal. Insulza has no interest in the facts before any Andean nation and his rejection of constitutional democracy exposes his own failed leadership. Insulza should be removed from the OAS for this and other matters. The last we looked, the OAS is never supposed to be a cover over organization for any nation’s administrative crimes and certainly not to gloss over or support the destruction of Ecuador’s democracy, as is the case. In fact, Insulza could have simply dispatched a real team to evaluate the crisis and abuse of democracy and its constitutional democratic actors in Quito. Insulza must determine who pays Correa’s goon squads to commit violence against duly elected officials, why Correa’s 500 man police ands military refused to provide security to the opposition and why the attackers wave Correa’s and Chavez’s political flags as they kick, burn, beat, and stab innocent civilians and officials to within one inch of their lives. To pretend that this does not occur during Correa’s reign of terror is unconscionable. To ignore the complicity of the Correa regime to destroy democracy in Ecuador is a debauchery of Insulza’s high office and he must go.

Beyond irritating, Correa appeared yesterday on the balcony of Carondelet Palace to reveal his self defense by lying: this time calling the free press association of Ecuador as liars. AEDEP may be weak but their stance on Correa’s government by anarchy and deception plan was principled, after too long a silence. AEDEP was correct in its position and Correa is utterly disingenuous at best to call the media “immoral” as he did when at last the media was principled/moral. This shows the lowering of Correa’s public integrity….he will stop at nothing to bend the truth and distance himself from his own actions when it suits him or when at last someone pays attention and alerts us all to Correa’s malfunctions.

Insulza becomes the perfect drive-by idiot for Rafael Correa: Insulza’s shallow and vapid incompetence to review the facts on the ground in Ecuador reveals his flaccidity to erect any meaningful semblance of leadership in support of democracy. Already known for his refusal to stand on principles regarding Hugo Chavez, Insulza cannot afford to be exposed again for his flaccid incompetence. Unfortunately, he has performed his own demise as a person of any capacity to lead when he airily accepted the ridiculous notion that Rafael Correa was in any shape or form performing to build and defend democracy. While Quitenos whisper that Correa’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Espinoza, herself a well known writer of porn, has been widely published… not for her foreign policy acumen but because she posed for publicly available photos….with her legs wide apart. With no shame whatsoever, this mistress of porn has informed the international media this past week that Correa is well loved internationally, which is of course 180 degrees off base. We remind that flaccidity is not always repaired through pornography and deception. Insulza would be well served to stop listening to porn writers who pervert the meaning of functional democracy and listen instead to the facts at hand and his own job description.  Indeed, Insulza seems to be basing his analysis on Ecuador’s constitutional crisis from some factless report ginned up through Hustler magazine, which in this case would be an apt description based on the quality of Insulza’s information. Insulza’s interpretation of the facts in Ecuador is every bit as flawed as the specious claim that no one need worry about Correa and that we should all ignore his crimes because the responsible, democracy loving adults in Ecuador will oust Correa. This is a baseless silliness when a dictator controls and manipulates all branches of government, including the police, special goon squads, thousands of paid political protesters and the military- as is the case today in Ecuador.

The coming week in Ecuador is of historic proportions. If the global community of freedom lovers turn a blind eye to the travesty of Correa’s plan to enshrine political rhetoric and fake interpretations of Ecuador’s constitution in to his desired installation of kangaroo tribunals and fake justice and a kangaroo or  puppet congress to hand him a ridiculous Chavez-clone constitution, history will judge us all writ large as complicit in the endgame for about 14 million Ecuadoreans whose lives will be every bit as shattered and hopeless  as Venezuelans are today. The congress of Ecuador is constitutionally mandated. Insulza is inexorably wrong to fail to back these champions of liberty. So too are those edging toward cowardice and ignominy. Soon they too will only hold jobs as paid protesters…with all the rights and liberties of a statism so perverted that there is no way out.
