March 15, 2007     The March 14, 2007 Associated Press tells us that, “On Wednesday, Correa denied there was an 'institutional breakdown' as all three branches of Ecuador's government grappled for power, accusing each other of violating the constitution and trying to assert their supremacy.

Correa says he will not respect any decision by Congress or the courts to block the referendum.”

This simple and chilling analysis should awaken any but the most ridiculously ignorant or self serving hedge fund manager who profits from well planned state turmoil to the fact that Rafael Correa has just announced that in his rush to sustain his self coup he intends to rid Ecuador of functional democracy.

Examine that last sentence again. Correa, the ill prepared Princeling of Ecuador, stamps his feet, sends in his bully boys, backs second degree manslaughter, and overtly forgets to be honest about his state budgets, his military bribery underway, his deals with the FARC, Chavez-Castro-Iran deals, and his utter contempt for his own high office.

To confirm this sweeping generalization, one need simply ask: where are the copies of the deals with Chavez/ With Ahmadinejad? How many state functions has Correa handed over illegally to his military? Why does Correa intend to roll out the welcome mat in Ecuador to global narcotraffickers? Why is Correa covering over investor flight in Ecuador which is quite real while not quite yet a run on all banks?

Why has Correa refused to send up a completed budget for Congressional review? Why has Correa aided and abetted a global speculative ring by engineering false political excuses by engineering his support for market manipulations which have cost regular Ecuadoreans billions? And why, we ask, does Correa back his nasty boys to attack elected members of their Congress who performed for once their task of simply inquiring about Correa’s bond market manipulations to enrich the murky underbelly of his inner group at public expense? More to the point: where is the condemnation and outrage for this darling of the CHE! campfire set whose very  existence is owed to the lethal cocktail of Chavez’s political minders and dysfunction Hate groups, sometimes called NGOs and civil groups which in Ecuador are about the lowest common denominator of ngo activists of the basest sort, well known for their own acts of perjury, unaccountability, political alliance with the hate-Uribe set as backed by Soros ( currently crawling all over Quito in joyful celebration of Correa’s jackbooted endeavors for they believe that he will undermine Uribe’s Plan Colombia) and has remarkably enshrined themselves as intimates to the Correa team of 1960s hippie style CHE love song crooners and campfire singers, also called Correa’s cabinet.

But while the campfire crooners are busy revealing themselves physically and ethically in ways that are unacceptable, their state backed violence and intimidation grows to dictatorial heights.
Rafael Correa intends to be a dictator- a criminal dictator-by any means. He has said this. He is serious. Rafael Correa wants all hands on the levers of power in Ecuador. And Correa has guaranteed us all that he will be no short lived/ short termed tin pot dictator because he has already taken control of the media, the military and the police to serve his ends.

Rafael Correa wants any and all opposition to his Cuban paradise for Ecuador plan silenced, shuttered or dead. He cares not one iota that his own criminal rap sheet of fiscal deception, rampant dishonesty, state backed violence against legal actors, intimidating and silencing the media and intentions to re-carve municipalities which do not cow tow to his political take over schemes, grows daily. Retribution and violence to cancel democracy, free speech, human rights and suspend law and order to aid and abet the Castro-Chavez paradise for prostitutes and drug runners is what Correa is all about.

On March 15, 2007, Correa announced that it was his political foes who have created a fake economic panic in Ecuador. Ignoring that wise investors moved over 20% of their assets out of Ecuador because Correa was elected, there is only one reason for any to remain disgusted with fiscal soundness of the fiscally unsound, deceptive Correa government: Correa himself who has lied, cheated and caused losses of billions already in Ecuador. Rafael Correa is no economist except in name only and he certainly is no leader for productive growth for Ecuador. He has shattered all confidence in his capability to lead except by deception and violence which he employs with gay abandon, aided and abetted as he is by some of the worst rogue regime actors, Cuban intelligence,. KGB-style propagandists and Chavez’s strong arm guidance in coordination with his inner group of duplicitous so called NGO activists of dubious political agendas. His so called degree in economics was derived not at a first rate school and contrary to his lies, he is not a “Chicago School” economist. Correa attended a huge state education machine which is notable for the vast numbers of Fulbright style scholarship students who neither respect the U.S. educational system nor have any intention of appreciating the very scholarships provided them by the generosity of the U.S. tax payer.

In other words, persons like Rafael Correa attend U.S. schools thanks to the generosity of the U.S. citizen. That Correa attended a school which conferred to him a doctoral degree in a remarkably short amount of time- less than ½ the normal time spent on advanced degrees- and with a thesis based on flawed analysis and chock full of blatant typos and misspellings shows the level of attention given by Correa and his “university” to his academic rigor, which is almost sub par and had nothing to do with functional economics.

Correa himself benefited- indeed owes his entire career – to the generosity of the American people. He has deceptively ( and illegally) based his reputation on being a Chicago school economist, as he himself has stated precisely on numerous occasions. Correa knows that he lied about this because his degree is from the University of Illinois- at Champagne Urbana- and is not from the famous, highly esteemed Chicago School so famous for its rigorous academics and core curricula guaranteed to foster informed students and academics in global and domestic economic functions. Instead, Correa attended what is called a shopping mall university: drive in and drive out with a degree. Correa’s own disjointed so called career in academia, as in economics, is a perverse mixture of the politics of anger and hatred trying to find an economic platform upon which to pin anger while ignoring remedies and solutions. In fact, any who have actually reviewed Correa’s remarkably shallow so called academic writings are struck by his utter insistence on complaining and his refusal to develop sustainable reflections or remedies for economic solutions. In other words, Correa has a shallow education which he uses as an excuse to disguise his real intention which is to use and abuse the political situation to cover over his own assistance for a dishonest government of thugs, self enriching global speculators and the goofiest neo communists in the region.

The problem with the Correa team of badly educated, self-absorbed, cynical, boozy, poorly trained adolescent/teen-agers run amuck in Ecuador is that their incompetence is hallmarked by their hatred and anger at whatever and whatever in their case is responsible governance and stabilizing politics which they are averse to in every way. They hate the USA. They hate Uribe’s successful Plan Colombia because they think that if illicit narcotics were legalized, the FARC would be wonderful. They hate businesses which in turn produce jobs and taxable revenues for Ecuador. They hate free trade and hide behind the demands that Ecuador be given an ATPDA extension when Ecuador deserves nothing at all by way of U.S. cost-incurred ATPDA extensions. They hate the Catholic church and ceremonially mock the integrity of the Church as witnessed by Correa’s misuse of church tenants They hate international diplomacy and send instead perverts, pornographers, and prostitutes as representatives of their nation.

Correa’s team fully intends to make a mockery of Ecuador’s state systems and has crafted an entire government of liars and cheats whose sole intention is to mislead, cheat and lie not just domestically but internationally. There is not one of Correa’s inner group that bears respect or deserves same for they do not serve their own people but a small subset of bitter, angry dysfunctional leftists gone wilding. To rule in Ecuador, Correa only succeeds by the time worn tactic of intimidation, lies and violence. He in fact has no clue how to be a legitimate president for growth and progress or what this means. Rafael Correa is already seen as a dishonest and untenable president whose very acts mock the very tenants of his high office. The real problem with these selfish teen-agers running Ecuador today is that they really are incompetent and they really are dishonest and they really have no plan for developing Ecuador except their own shadowy commitment to what Correa’ himself calls his total pledge to Castro’s Cuban conversion as part of the Chavez-backed Bolivarian axis of stupidity.

We say that the bi-polar and heavily medicated, rapidly self destructing Hugo Chavez and Correa’s Cuban axis of stupidity is dishonest and untenable because it is. The so-called Bolivarians have given us a taste of their fair state-backed government plan in Ecuador: violence- violence backed illegally by the state and engineered and funded by the state against law abiding citizens. As the police laugh as duly elected Congressmen are beaten almost to death last week, the military just keeps on racking up more bribes from Correa to line their re-monopolizing pockets.

We say that Correa’s administration is disgustingly unacceptable because it is.

Ecuadoreans are repulsed that the sole voice to represent them internationally- to be the voice of their international reputation- is a woman best known for pictures of her intimate bodily parts. The revulsion of the debauched Correa outlook to install such a porn queen as the highest representative of their nation’s integrity speaks volumes about Correa’s cynicism and his distaste for functional government and his personal politics of scorn, derision, and his addiction to manipulations which have already cost Ecuadoreans billions and will deplete what little is left.

We say that the military of Ecuador has just been bribed to serve its new authoritarian agenda because it has been. This too is illegal.

We say that Ecuadoreans are walking in to a trap with Correa’s new “constitutional reform” effort- a constitution guaranteed to hand him total powers. Why do we know this? Because Correa has said that this is what he will have and he has already shown us that he will stop at nothing, including sending our his porn queen to dazzle any fools in governments who will be distracted by her “charms” [because she knows nothing nor cares anything about legitimate diplomacy as well as handing full bribes to the police and military. In fact, the current Minister of Foreign Affairs reminds us of Abdala Bucaram who almost bankrupted Ecuador financially and morally with his insistence of a 24/7 bacchanal regime from the penthouse of the Hotel Colon where….anything went and often did so. We can only ponder if Ministra Espinosa was not mentored by the debauched (and currently Chavista) Bucaram in her youth as it would appear to be the case. Just as Correa should have learned from former president Mahuad’s mistaken payments to Jeffrey Sachs under the advice of Ivonne a Baki in the late 1990s that saw Ecuador’s economy – its total economy- collapse, Correa would and should learn that the organisms of state are never best served by economic machinations and political bullying and violence, which of course is what brought Lucio Gutierrez to flee in costume from his post as president: violence and deception. Today, the supporters of Correa’s so called constitutional reforms are also wearing costumes in their paid political acts….cone head space alien style hats of encouragement for Correa’s communism by constitution.

What we do not know is why Ecuadoreans seem to be averse to their own fact finding….finding out the facts about Chavez and finding out about the facts of Correa.

Recently, an anti Chavez activist sent an open letter from Venezuela of warning to the Ecuadorean community. Within weeks, this document was victimized knowingly by Correa disinformation specialists, was plagiarized, and words in support of Correa’s unconstitutional acts and pro communism constitution.
This was knowingly distributed by those who should have known better and indeed claimed that the author had permitted their shocking plagiarism.

Correa promises reform- communism’s authoritarian reform. All Ecuadoreans know that they have failed themselves to reform anything over the last decade, preferring to abandon any acts of reform or function. But Correa wants reform- his way only. There is no capacity to debate with Correa on anything.

Correa is surrounded by his circle of low level thinkers, sycophants, badly educated paper pushers, blurry eyed and boozy campfire crooners and a vast array of non governmental actors from the Soros do-drugs crowd who seem to have adopted Ecuador in their joyful hopes that Ecuador will move from being simply one of the worst drug transit zones in to being a bona fide narco state. And they believe that a little boy will lead them. For decades, Ecuadoreans have welcomed people from all walks to visit the Galapagos.

Finally, a high level American visits….the wife of the president…of the largest tourist segment in Ecuador upon which thousands base their life earnings….Americans and the wife of the American president. Instead of graciously welcoming Mrs. Bush, Correa destroys what little comity exists by yet another incoherent rant against President Bush but also including he really does not hold anything against the American people- just its president….and the IMF and the World Bank and on and on. We say this: Laura Bush should have been warmly welcomed in word and deed- not the cynical rantings of Correa and certainly not the common excuse by Americans that they “must” distance themselves from Bush to further their friendship with Ecuadoreans. Indeed, these paid persons need to rethink their friendships.

This is pathetic and shows a loss of integrity. Laura Bush came for a vacation and came in the spirit of friendship. For this she got a cold shoulder and the crude comments of an adolescent princeling unbefitting to the people of Ecuador.

One does not need  to wait for the errant Washington Post or the missing in action U.S. embassy in Quito to report the facts. In fact, the POST will probably report on Ecuador long before the U.S. embassy will because that embassy itself is crawling with Soros-backed NGOs whom they call friends…and close advisors and… real world players.

Last we looked, these anti US, hate Bush activists may be their friends and advisors but contrary to perception in Ecuador, these are in no way “official” agents of the USG, no matter how much money US AID throws at them nor how much the U.S. ambassador embraces them as she embraced Rafael Correa, soothingly and dishonestly telling him and the people of Ecuador that the United States stands with him. Such utterly foolish and dishonest comments may serve her in-house audience but serves no one, and certainly not the Ecuadorean people who struggle to find their road map back to law and order…and do not find it at the point of a gun or stemming from any of the hippie-styled policy mavens (also called highly paid NGOs) generally overwhelming Quito these days. It is long past time to reunite any who stand for integrity, functional democracy and freedom’s promise. Except for a slight and small group- more akin to a remembrance of things past- you will not find any of them in Quito today. They have been overwhelmed by the CHE! love song crooners, hedge fund operatives of a certain persuasion, and highly paid dishonest NGO operatives who hate the USA and actually hate Ecuador. Not one effort and not one penny has been expended in Ecuador for anything meaningful that smacks of a light out of this growing darkness.
