Ecuador's Correa Bars any Fact Finding by OAS on his Removal of Law and Order: Anti-democracy Friends like these are no Friends at All....Here is What the OAS Must Report

April 1, 2007   In yet another of the cascading revelations from his own mouth and by his own hand that Rafael Correa is actively destroying law and order, diplomacy and democracy in his rush to install a Cuban paradise in Quito and destroy the Republic, Correa screeches that no one on any fact finding visit will be allowed to look under his bed....and start to see just who Correa is in bed with.

El Universo today covers Correa's public bombast that he will not "tolerate" any OAS fact finding. Other talk from Ecuador notes that Correa will not "tolerate" Uribe's abuses (which of course holds no water because there are no facts because there is no abuse by Uribe) into his kingdom which is now run by Chavez-Castro, the pro drugs NGOs, former Sandinistas, and criminals of all stripes, especially the FARC.

The OAS, for all its ridiculous self lies and self loathing that it stands for nothing when it is supposed to stand for something or else give back its funds, should ask these urgent questions of Rafael Correa....because the facts are already on the table to anyone past the age of 14:

The OAS today must:

1. Advise Correa that he will either welcome all fact finding events or cease to be a member of the OAS; no amount of extortion or political threats suffice.

2. Analyze the constitution of Ecuador. Do not rely on third rate political propagandists, sometimes called paid attroneys before interested governments and lawyers for the Correa regime, who favor the unbearable language promulgated by the Chavez team of constitutionalists, currently spearheaded by two Spaniards well ensconced in Quito, to coordinate the multiplying gaggle of disaffected political groups of anti-everything conceivable who circle in support of their paid posts as mouthpieces for the glorious Cuban-Chavez revolution led by Rafael Correa.

The OAS must, by its very charter, stop making excuses for its non-work and support and respect the constitution of Ecuador regardless of their own very obvious preference for non-democratic actors. In fact, to not do so will trigger the U.S. Congress to cease funding the spread of communism and pro drug activists currently well entrenched across the OAS and the Andes. The OAS's own charter details that the OAS will protect and defend constitutional democracies.

Any OAS operative knows that constitutions can be amended. Indeed constitutions can be redone. But the details- the structure of these procedures- is completely the parvenu and obligation of the feckless OAS operatives who must act to defend the structural democracy of Ecuador no matter how much they themselves abhor democracy and prefer to aid and abet the criminality of Hugo Chavez's sweep to power by any means possible.

3. The OAS's dossier will of course include the facts that Rafael Correa failed to provide legally obliged protections to all citizens which means he has set a policy of only protecting those he likes politically. To wit, Correa ordered the police and the military to stand and laugh as Correa's own paid protesters/golpistas brutally savaged numerous government and elected officials. This is a criminal abuse of power, no matter how much Insulza of the OAS appreciates Correa'a behavior, he too must stand against abuse of power that harms many and placed scores in intensive care.

The Congress of Ecuador has been racked by Correa's paid thugs to force anarchy, taking over the Congress of Ecuador in Correa's rapid self coup to install the Castro-Chavez narcoterrorist regime. Correa needs to cancel his goon squads and provide equal protection under the law, which he of course will never do.

Correa needs to stop sending his emissaries and paid lobbyists to the OAS and the U.S. Congress to lie about the fiscal state of his unsound fiscal state.

Correa needs to permit the duly elected members of Ecuador's congress to return to their positions. This is the only legitimate course available to Correa.

Correa needs to cease installing his political hacks as judges and congressmen: this is verboten under the OAS democracy charter for all intents and purposes.

Correa needs to stop threatening to carve up Guayaquil proper and cede its sovereign entities in to a new false province so as to control the major port of Guayaquil for his Chavista friends at Venezuela's Trafigura who seek major shipping controls over the largest port in the Pacific. This is especially important as Correa seeks control of the newer base and port at Manta on the Pacific. Correa needs to leave Guayaquil alone and stop pressuring Mayor Nabot. Rafael Correa needs to cease bribing officials and his own military.

Correa needs to disclose the budgets of Ecuador, his contracts with Chavez and Iran, his on going assistance to offshore bond market speculators who reap billions at the expense of the local citizens and he needs to put forward a team to complete joining the FTA/TLC.

Unfortunately, Correa prefers to lie about the state of his state and prefers to retain his position that the ATPDA, which was always a kindergarten for nascent beginnings of free trade, is what he deserves instead of the legitimate, adult responsibilities contained in the full FTA/TLC. It is ridiculous for Ecuador to dream of an undeserved ATPDA extension, enabled as Correa is, his team rolls out the welcome mat for the FARC while lying to the U.S. government about their own glorious acts against narcoterrorism and human trafficking and illicit drugs transit which is instead correctly reported as soaring even by the U.S. Department of State even though some staff seem to forget to check the data, preferring instead to accept whole cloth the myth [also call lies] that Correa is reducing Ecuador's massive illegal drugs transshipment crime. Ecuador needs to grow up and step in to a responsible, mature role to grow the future for all Ecuadoreans.

Correa is turning Ecuador in to a narcoterrorist zone of lawless cretins from all walks of life. Instead of applauding, the OAS must review factually the anti-democratic steps underway and suspend the ridiculous YES or NO vote long before April 15, 2007. To even host any vote at all is to give a Free Pass Card to the Correa team's criminal acts to date which planned and carried out violent harm to innocent citizens and officials and set up illegal courts and fake governmental entities.

There will be nothing clear or clean about any Correa so called constitutional vote even as there is nothing clear, honest, legitimate, or clean about Correa's entire acts to date. Correa does not want anyone looking under his bed in the next two weeks- if ever- precisely because of his well engineered [and well funded] referenda vote. Indeed the OAS must look at the new media and free speech ending regulations-  ordered by Correa- that none can even speak or tell anything against his referenda or face criminal sanctions. The OAS must conclude that this is a shuttering of free speech and free media. Copies of the Correa presidential orders are freely available and are...unacceptable.

The OAS must mention that Correa has already bribed his military into compliance by giving them lording rights to oversee state assets such as road handling and the state's major source of income: oil and all mineral extractions. Petroecuador, which needs a full forensic audit desperately, is now managed by the military in tandem with Chavez's PDVSA-managed militarism. We remind that Chavez fully controls PDVSA as well as his military and police...fascist powers which Correa seeks to legitimize in his new "people's" constitution.

And the USA must finally stop covering up the Correa regime's crimes against Americans and Ecuadorean citizens.  foreign ambassadors in Quito are more than alert to the problems underway. The Canadians must open their mouths- finally- and repeat what they now only whisper.

And finally the OAS must analyze the installation of Correa's illegitimate kangaroo courts and his illegitimate kangaroo congress. There is no conclusion except that this is a disaster. Even former U.S. ambassador to Ecuador Peter Romero recently commented in the media on the criminality of the Correa regime’s acts. For Clintonite Romero to ascribe criminality to anything indicates a high degree of illicit activity.

Correa must return the judges to their seats and all 57 congressmen to their positions. Otherwise, the OAS must conclude that Correa is not fit for OAS membership. The Ecuadorean delegation in Washington will not be missed. If the OAS fears a stampede for the exit door by Bolivia and Venezuela in solidarity with Correa's Cuban style regime, ask yourself: with friends like these, who will never respect the treaties and charters to which they are a signatory and not respect the paper it is printed on, why enable them any further?

This is an OAS moment…a defining moment of historic proportions for the lack luster OAS. Correa is not sustaining democracy: he has destroyed democracy. If the OAS enabling group does not speak truth to power and end this manipulation in the Andes, it needs to dissolve and let NATO or some other adult-based group act in loco parentis.

Rafael Correa is identical to many in Ecuador: badly educated, over rated adolescents of certain ages whose worldview is dazzlingly self absorbed and truncated, succeeding only by threats, jeers, and effrontery even as their own performances fail on every legitimate level.

Correa is more like a 15 year old who has badly behaved many times, breaking all reasonable behavior. Fueled by ongoing enabling, lots of ill gotten money, manipulative placations and false rewards promised to this teen age princeling, Correa is emboldened to remain in power to enshrine his Castroite vision for Chavez’s power ploy and grow his realm of terror. Lying about Correa's acts as head of state will never return democracy to Ecuador.

Any who aid and abet his thuggery ansd criminality are complicit in these criminal acts.Unless and until Ecuadoreans demand functional adult like behavior instead of teen age behavior by Correa and his cadre of thuggish caudillo wanna  bes, they permit him and his side kicks- more like communist teen age gang members- to get away with his increasingly destructive plans. Take away the car keys.

Stand for something meaningful instead of passively watching the aggressive destruction of the nation. Stop making the standard embarrassingly inept excuses, well known to every Ecuadorean about manipulative adolescent behaviors: we all know the excuses.

But this is too much: it is long past midnight and Correa has gone too far….like a drunken teen-ager pumped up on his own foolish self importance and false delusions and his whereabouts/governmental disclosure is unknown yet. Take away his car keys, his cash, his capacity to lie, and his gasoline in the tank…before Correa finishes plunging the state off a cliff.
