Insulza Does Correa: Sees Only Propagandists and Kangaroo Accomplices and Will Bless the Whole Mess
July 31, 2007 In yet one more reason why the OAS needs to remove its current, incompetent president Insulza, we reprint here the "hear nothing valid/ see nothing valid" whistle stop tour of Insulza before Rafael Correa's pre-greased OAS tour. As opposed to the standard U.S. Congressional delegations who typically only get windowless rooms and unendingly boring PowerPoint slide shows from U.S. governmental staffs in substitute for actual on the ground CODEL visits across Latin America [ claiming security reasons which is of course an excuse to not share facts], Correa simply has stacked Insulza's visit to Quito tomorrow with Correa's pre-scripted agenda only, (see here). And it appears that Insulza has fallen for this deception and has agreed to the Correa show ponies.
Insulza, for his part, will no doubt bless the entire rigged event, will play the part he knows so well which is to declare that democracy can and must hide multifaceted crimes. This is Insulza's gift to Latin America: how to game democracy to cover up actual crimes against one's own citizens while ignoring the larger picture of determined, stubborn criminality by numerous regimes. Rafael Correa's regime is at the forefront in clever, Machiavellian duplicity which reeks of Russian mafia tactics and Insulza, we predict, will show off his vast wisdom and badly fitting business suits, revealing once again that he is- as he has always been- a low level Chilean functionary and in no way competent to grapple with the myriad issues of crime and incompetence blooming across the Andean region.
We have every reason to presume that Insulza, never one for penetrating analysis, will live up to his pre-visit propaganda as seen in Correa and Chavez's new mouth organ: EL TELEGRAFO newspaper which recently claimed that Insulza backs Chavez and Castro. No known objection to the growing state media monopoly by Correa and Chavez has been submitted by the OAS and/or Insulza to this remarkably frank expose of last week.
As if Insulza now has much to live up to in his on going blessing of crime, corruption, Russian KGB style propaganda and state-backed kleptocracy, Insulza walks in to Carondelet Palace only as a prescripted tool of Correa's propaganda. And somehow we see that Insulza does this knowing full well the role as Chavez's beard that he does play.
We have seen Insulza play the beard for his team before. He publicly gushed that the anti-Uribe George Soros is a great "statesman" when he is nothing of the sort and never has been. Insulza declared that it is just all right for Chavez and Correa to seize/steal other's properties as long as they hide behind the thin veneer that they are democracies. Insulza has declared that it is just fine with him if nations stage self coups if and only if their leaders hide behind the veil that they are democracies, no matter how fake and how false and how injurious these leaders are. Just because Insulza adores Chavez and Correa and Soros, this is no reason for the U.S. taxpayer to fund almost 2/3 of this cover up artist, also called the head of the OAS. Then again, the U.SA. Congress, under the leadership of a profound movement of oddly assorted Democrats, seems to think that Hugo Chavez, Rafael Correa and Insulza of the OAS are just great as long as the money... their re election monies- just keeps rolling in.
To round out his visit to Quito, Insulza will have a brief meeting with the badly compromised Correa boy toy, the head of the current Congress who has already been publicly noted as having cut numerous deals with Correa to remove pesky freedom lovers and pre grease the Correa agenda in Congress, rendering Congress today as nothing better than one more kangaroo body, jumping up and down at Correa's demands.
Insulza will also meet privately with Correa and Espinosa. We can only wonder if he will ask la Ministra to personally autograph her volume of porn with her own person laid out fully naked. then again, perhaps Correa will share with Insulza exactly how he has jiggered the entire economy of Ecuador to serve not the people of Ecuador but as a back up wallet for Hugo Chavez when Hugo's derivatives funds, sometimes called his FONDEN fund and sometimes called Russian mafia partnering for derivatives trading, are under challenge.
Maybe Correa will detail to Insulza his already mapped goals for ending functional democracy per his already scripted new Constitution for Ecuador. Perhaps Correa will note for Insulza just how he will manage his new assembly as Correa has already decreed that his own new panel of judges will over ride any opposition to any goals Correa seeks, thus leaving no doubt that the entire circus maximus at Montecristi is a farce of unending and dire proportions.
But Insulza will ignore the plans underway to convert Ecuador to Correa's dream state of yet one more Castro gulag state, as he himself promised Castro. Insulza, whose own maestro is former president of Chile Lagos and is of course a Soros contractor, has nothing remotely resembling any background to evaluate anything remotely resembling the dissembling of economic competency and functional democracy in Ecuador as is underway by these feckless, incompetent and utterly depraved cabinet members who serve as backdrops for Correa's personal pathology.
By August 3, 2007, Insulza will move on and depart Quito like one more locust feeding off a well prepared menu, and will be off to decimate someone else's field of dreams for liberty. But there will be no truth telling in Quito this week and no attention whatsoever given to growing liberty's lights for Ecuadoreans, who will not be present to demand even a radiant of the lights of liberty nor the facts from Correa. They are either busy ignoring their own canard, pretending that if they see nothing, they personally can not be held responsible for anything, or else actively involved in gaming their own futures supposedly for self enrichment. It is a dirty game of chess and no winners- no winners at all- will ever emerge from any situation when the rules are constantly in flux and controlled by enemies of freedom.
No nation should have its end to democracy analyzed by the beard of Correa and Chavez. Insulza is serving as a false front- a walker- for the new corrupt states of Venezuela and Ecuador. The U.S. Congress needs to review exactly what Insulza's game is and where he is spending U.S. tax dollars, given with no oversight to the failed OAS, because it is not remotely close to fact based reporting or support for freedom at all. Insulza is Castro and Correa's beard: he is compromised and is as ill suited to integrity as his own suits are ill fitted. tragically, Insulza has become one more mouth organ for the Chavez and Correa propaganda efforts.
