Correa's Proyecto Constitucion is Right Out of PSYCHO
September 2, 2007 The Editors of ECrisis ask Ecuadoreans and the entire globe to actually read the August 24, 2007 Correa-Chavez constituent assembly manifesto, also called by Correa's allies as the new constitutional plans. The latest official, clean copy is here and this is just one of a few more to come. But like Ministra Espinosa's past performances in porn, it does not tell the whole tawdry tale and just gives a preview of what will be enshrined because Correa has already insured that the assembly will have no way to alter one word meaningfully from his demands. While the CONESUP team lent their imprimatur to aid and abet the flurry of eager communist-authoritarians for the New 21st Century [Insulza of the OAS incorrectly calls this democracy and the U.S. democrats incorrectly call this populism], flurrying around CONAM and Quito these days to erect a new politburo in Montecristi's new self-enclosed barbed wire erection for the self imprisoned [sometimes also called the lazy and self delusional], we hope that positive steps follow upon review of this Manifesto for the Andean region.
We also call on one and all to study this language, point by point. And then....think. Think about what this means today and tomorrow. And think what functional constitutions actually sound like and how governments can actually help grow a better future for their citizens instead of converting them to a certifiable serfdom as is the case here today. While saner minds assume this proposed constitutional language is a joke, we know that to Correa's true believers of this canard, this is the real thing and indicates exactly what the three "Cs" of communism: Correa, Chavez and Castro are doing inside Ecuador to form a more perfect, if not debauched, union, with Iran's pass through money accounts for murky Russian money men, currently enjoying the Chavez escapades. We would also remind Ecuadoreans that the sole reason that Ministra Espinoza and her close personal friend Hugo Chavez, among her plethora of close personal friends, have yet to perform their legal obligation and disclose their deals with Iran is that the United Nations has penalties attached to those who deal with the nation of terror called Iran. Never one to actually enforce its own U.N. Resolutions, we do remind that one fine day the U.N. may actually get around to performing its own duty and invoke its bans on those in bed with Iran. Then again, the U.N. is badly in need of consistency.
Contrary to Hugo Chavez's intimacy with Iran, we are assured that Iranians are locked inside a patently miserable life with few prospects, little hope, really bad Iranian News propaganda and nothing to do but escape to countries where no one wants them. But Chavez is flying these badly educated apparatchiks to Latin America in droves. It is part of the reconquest and the Iranians, who should know better but do not, are the new cheap labor for Chavez along with Ecuadoreans and Bolivians, who should know better but pretend that they have no way out. We remind that today in Iraq is a certain rebellion against the Iranian terrorists flooding Iraq. This comes from an unusual quarter: the regular citizens who are sick and tired of Iran's Taliban style forced marriages and pre-planned bigamy....with badly educated and overpopulating Iranians. The mullahs of Iran promote bigamy and seek an average of 24 children per man. Although Hugo, Ministra Espinoza, and Rafael Correa appear willing to hop in to bed with these Iranians, some of us are, like any sensible Iraqis, repulsed by this very notion.
You will not find this on TELESUR, aka Al JAZEERA, aka Correa's co ownership of the Iranian News. That too is repulsive and illegal.
In the meantime, awareness grows when citizens fear the take over of their free speech and open media. In a bow to the movie PSYCHO, many recoil in pure fright to imagine any commandeering of what is left of open media by any political leader. Click here for a take off on this theme. Like a thief in the night or like a psychopath attacking in the shower, Ecuador is under attack in every way and that attack plan is guaranteeing the surrender of liberty. Soon enough, Ecuadoreans will be force fed Chavez and Correa's new money making scheme to steal others' media companies and force feed their propaganda. This is called TELESUR which also co owns parts of the Iranian News Service [the mullahs' state propaganda arm] and recycles in Spanish news feeds straight from AL JAZEERA for that special, tainted anti-freedom propaganda that is its hallmark.
This week end, the hapless and very badly advised former Finance Ministry employee of the Correa-Chavez team, last seen going public with an auto da fe, his short version of the Patiño-Venezuelan money team to manipulate Ecuadorean bonds in a Latin -wide racket so deep that the mind reels, has been whisked away to prison by Correa's goons, with no due process, no rights and no chance at all of any fair jurisprudence. To be sure, this entire bond market racketeering will never be treated responsibly by any inside the bonds of Ecuador but the bonds of manipulative behavior can be broken. Interpol is a good place to start since Ecuador only falsely pretends to have even handed law and order when it clearly...does not. While Ecuadoreans chirpily say that he `had it coming' since he politically angered Correa and his dancing partner Patiño, again Ecuadoreans must cease their reluctance to actually listen to what they themselves are saying and watch what they themselves are doing and stop making excuses for this morass. Where are the mavens of legal rights? Human rights? In Ecuador they are silent in order to pretend that they will still have a seat at Correa's bedside table or whatever that means these days to Correa. Or in his cheesy hotel room dancing classes with Patiño et al to celebrate their latest seizure of some part of an integrated nation. Or some new post in the upcoming Chavez empire.
We remind: in no way is the snatching and grabbing of citizens with no due process and nothing remotely resembling habeas corpus protections legal no matter that any have "it" coming just because they angered the very very unstable Correa, who angers easily and crafts swift, violent retaliations, even though he supposedly lives alone in the Palace. We say this again: it is a fools' game to play the citizen role of the battered partner-spouse and make excuses for the abusive leader. Abuse is still abuse and all the enabling of the dysfunction does not make it legitimate. But Ecuadoreans are trained from birth to ignore abuses and pretend that these crimes do not exist. This did not help the Gutierrez team in the end and the former Mrs. Chavez did never help Venezuela in the end.
While this latest victim of Correa's anger against any that dare speak of what occurs in the tawdry hotel rooms so preferred by the Correa gaggle of bandits, it is impossible to not feel some interest in this side room tale. Worse yet is the reluctance of Ecuadoreans to do much more than rely on Chavez's media monopolies to report the facts. It is impossible to compete with totalitarian news services and Correa just brought the new iron curtain of jiggered, false news also called propaganda, to Quito. Although he has no known money, Correa is now the proud owner of 5% of this new corporation, already worth about $10 billion with its added assets of around $5 billion, stolen from RC TV. Thus Correa happily tells us he is part owner in stolen goods and in bed with Iran, among other questionable bed mates.
All of which means of course that soon enough....we will be eating this:

Nausea is more fun than this canard.
As the USA's Secretary Rice earlier last summer said of Chavez, “Chavez is someone who tries to intimidate smaller states. And I think some of them have been quite brave in speaking out about him. He's cost several of allies elections and, unfortunately, he's ruining a very fine country in Venezuela. But he can't intimidate the United States in any fashion. And so I don't mind giving voice to what was being said." The whole interview is here. We hope Rice is now prepared to alter her report to note the facts: Hugo Chavez has ruined Venezuela in every reportable sense and has funded and directed the adolescent team under the badly educated but hyperkinetic, Rafael Correa to ruin Ecuador. The road map is clear.
It is time to prevent all PSYCHO events by elected officials. If one must scream to stop these murderous acts, first be sure to know what you are screaming about.
