Axis of Evil Socialist Idiots Have Plans for Manta Base and an End to Open Trade

September 14, 2007        The Editors of ECrisis support informed discussion which is the bedrock of all freedom.
We urge a more fulsome discourse on the plans for the Manta Base and the ongoing aspirations of Hugo Chavez and his badly educated, however well propagandized youngsters, sometimes called Rafael Correa's teen age gangs, in Quito. Honest discourse on this important feature is barred inside Ecuador.
It appears that fact based analysis on this is being blocked by U.S. decision makers too. This can be easily altered and should be soon.

Today, Reuters reports here on this little known tale which will most likely tip the balance of militarism in Latin America and with no prevention underway, prove costly in the extreme. As the article states, "Correa has joined Chavez in bashing the Bush administration and promoting a socialist agenda as an alternative to U.S. trade and foreign policies, including the Plan Colombia anti-drug program."

Examine this if you would, please: Correa has joined Chavez....is promoting a socialist agenda...and "an alternative to U.S. trade and foreign policies, including Plan Colombia."

Look at this one more time for some of our readers who might be influenced by mind numbing self delusional preferences for uneducated positions and succumb to disinformation campaigns to tell us that all is well in Chavez-land:

    a. Correa has joined Chavez
    b. Correa and Chavez promote a socialist agenda
    c. Correa and Chavez intend to deliver an alternative to U.S. trade and foreign policies
    d. Correa and Chavez promote an alternative to Uribe's Plan Colombia.

Now- that was not so hard was it? We are assured that our readers are choking on these words because millions have been wrongly spent by the Ecuadorean government, the Soros backed efforts and the U.S. AID actors to tell us the exact opposite when these facts are in plain view.

Having established this framework, comes now another fact:

Correa and Chavez want the base at Manta and they will have it- soon. They want this not for their 21st Century socialism but what is really a communist-style criminal cartel of creeps. This not only means that the city of Manta and freedom loving Ecuadoreans will not have any consideration/ will see no permissible consideration  of its correct demands that Ecuador continue the remarkable mission out of Manta which not only provides Ecuador a sharp cash inflow for space rental but also provides Ecuador with its only source of countertrafficking activities, which includes sea rescues of the myriad fools who have sold their lives in to bondage through fake coyotes transporting them to lives of servitude in the Pacific Rim, along with their drug running routes north.

Ecuador, besides being the globe's murder capitol, is also the largest transit zone for moving drugs and  humans out of the Andes. That is also because Ecuador houses two of the Pacific's largest ports and houses one of the globe's most glaring failures of law and order. It remains a fools' errand to continue lying that the government of Ecuador fights against narcotrafficking and human trafficking when it has essentially performed little to nothing while complaining about overwhelming odds and continually gaming law and order, essentially aiding and abetting criminal cartels as it does.

In fact, the data about Ecuador is so overwhelmingly negative that one can only conclude that what Lucio Gutierrez started, perhaps inadvertently, has become a reality today: Ecuador's government is itself a criminal cartel in bed with Chavez to magically transform Ecuador in to a failed state status in perpetuity in order to drain its mineral reserves and leave the region as devastated as it can possibly become. We remind that Rafael Correa is busy selling off all mineral extractions while cheerily telling the globe that he is an environmental protectionist for the masses. Like Correa's fight against narcoterrorists which does not exist, Correa's environmental claims are naught any more than just wild eyed schemes and failed promises.

Here too is Correa's PR man, Larrea, telling us that "they" do not want to impose "their" new constitution, as they are, on a hapless citizenry. Contrary to what Larrea says, the Correa team has acted in every imaginable way to perform chicanery to install their upcoming take over of the Chavez-Castro regime in Ecuador. And if you believe Larrea, then you must be willing to factually refute/rebut the facts as reported by Reuters and every other major global news organization outside of Ecuador's manipulative, internecine, state-controlled media which is now joint owner with TELESUR.

Not once have Ecuadoreans seen a practical plan for replacing lost revenues from the Manta Base leasehold.
Not once have Ecuadoreans seen replacement plans for security and law enforcement when the Manta Base is handed over to Hugo Chavez about one year from now. And while Hugo Chavez will be the lessee, so to speak, it is incumbent for all Ecuadoreans to demand the facts from the never factual Rafael Correa about his plans for Manta and his submission to Chavez's insistence that the Manta Base house Chavez's new nuclear powered Russian submarines.

Worse yet, as the U.S. Embassy in Ecuador, claiming this gaffe as stemming from the Consulate in Guayaquil, sends the good men and women who serve under the U.S. Navy Band auspices to perform in  a show of bizarre anti-USA bad taste in Montecristi under the massive propaganda pictures of Ecuador's homegrown narcoterrorist Alfarista group, aligned as it was and is yet with the Shining Path and Chavez's own FARC, we can only hazard a guess what U.S. information about this transfer of power- an entire nation-  to Chavez will occur even as the transfer of power of the Manta Base signifies the end of any counterterrorism in Ecuador.

Hazarding guesses about pending hazards is no way to treat regional stability and encourage hemispheric defense. Moreover handing over a huge air and sea base to the perps and defenders of crime requires an analysis which has yet to see the light of day and no doubt will once more be shoved in to some closet in the Pentagon so as to politically never hurt the Chavez political and economic aspirations in the Andes because he is helping the pro drug actors, also called the anti Uribe groups and the Soros backed groups. Alliances for providing comfort for narcoterror, last we looked, is a crime, no matter how much it fuels hefty investor pools, sometimes called offshore hedge funds for Russian money mavens, the FARC, and drug runners. Hugo Chavez calls these groups....colleagues.

Here is Correa in his own words telling us that fighting against crime and trafficking is "damaging"
and that law and order, viz the Base at Manta, is not permissible. Correa, like Chavez, seeks to help grow the FARC by his words and deeds.

So the next time some badly educated political hack for what is incorrectly called the "new" progressives or the George Soros-backed "alternative" democracy actors masquerading as  "diplomats" or highly paid U.S. contractors called NGOs, informs you that we must not listen to what Chavez and Correa say but watch what they do, know that you are being lied to in the crudest fashion. Know that you are being hoodwinked through an avoidance of transparency, due diligence and compliance with all known treaties and descriptions of intelligent reporting. And then demand better. Demand the facts and demand that enabling of cover ups end.

What Correa and Chavez seek is not functional democracy and it is not new. And....it is not tenable nor is it honest or helpful and we are long past finding the financial support cute, clever or fun which imbues this anti-freedom effort with not only illegally  misguided American monies but creates the smokescreen of legitimizing that which should never be legitimized. There is nothing to applaud in the take over of Ecuador by Hugo Chavez in order to install a Cuban-style paradise in Ecuador. Any who eschew this panoply of crimes is a traitor to the cause of freedom.

If Reuters finally reports that Correa is in bed with Hugo Chavez in every sense, why is it so hard for sycophants and "diplomats" to report the facts?

We are more than weary of this gamesmanship and fake paradise plans for Ecuador. We are disgusted at what is coming our way and more disgusted that the adults who are paid to provide expertise are nothing more than highly paid political hacks, sometimes called "diplomats" and highly paid NGOs, who are helping legitimize that which should never be legitimized.

If Reuters can report that Chavez and Correa will see an end to free trade with North America, even though both will see an end to over half their non oil sector employment and an end to any vibrant private sector economies which are not linked to state mercantilism [ for a % of the state game], what blocks these truths from reaching self evidence? Expensive, paid propaganda of lies and misinformation blocks the facts.

Rafael Correa will appear in New York City before the Council of the Americas in their annual parade of losers from Latin America.

It is noteworthy that while Chile's Bachelet's similar venue will enjoy sponsorship from Microsoft in the donor column and a hefty per seat attendance fee, Correa's venue has no known U.S. donors [ the Council is a 501 c 3 we remind and while it may be tempted to take Chavez's monies through a string of false fronts, the monies still are traceable like Chavez's pass through laundering of CITGO's political and propaganda gifts to a shockingly large number of U.S. Democrats] and sees the lowest per seat price band for his venue.

In other words, no American business agrees with the vapid Council of the Americas that Rafael Correa is a beacon of good business or sound relations with any nation outside Bolivia, Cuba, Venezuela and Iran. To be sure, there are still yet some vulture capitalists left in Ecuador to pick the dead carcass but real money has fled and real business is planning to depart, if it has not already. We know this even though the U.S. Department of State does not want you to know this. We also know that Rafael Correa's economy is collapsing because he cannot find a few billions already missing from his operating budget and he cannot jigger enough Chavez funds to cover the revenue loss.

For his adventures in hedge fund style management for the dishonest, Correa will be rewarded soon with the morally perverted bail outs from the IDB and the multilateral banks, also called jobs creation plans to craft a fake show that jobs are happening in Ecuador when jobs are running away because of Correa's policies and his abuse of power. Rather than prop up this failed dictator, the banks would better serve to first insist on full disclosure and then insist on loans predicated not on dictatorship but on free governance. And in fact, Ecuador has seen dignity fail and courage run in order to install their ridiculous foreign policy to eschew these loser nations in lieu of productive global relationships. Clearly, Correa is a team member of the Axis of Evil's Idiots.

Worse yet, the Council knows well that Correa will only attract more fools to his venue and so they have offered discounted pricing. It is rather like buying cheap seats at a cheap soccer match in the nosebleed section for the farm team which keeps losing. Indeed, why would anyone, outside overpaid sycophants, badly trained politically aligned populists called "diplomats" and true believers of the Leninist-Gramscian-Iranian nation plan, also called Chavez's Socialists for the 21st Century, pay good money to listen to Rafael Correa unwind embarrassingly, as he does, for hours on end with nothing but lies?

We hope that the Council cancels his venue with them in order to uphold their own 501 c 3 charter that the Council ONLY supports democracies whose aims are legitimate, including free trade support more specifically. To host Correa is to host Chavez. To  host Correa is to have and hold a liar of shocking proportions who has supported for many years the governmental plans for Ecuador to seize all power from the people, rule in tyranny, steal from North Americans, end free trade, and dance around in drunken sprees with his cabinet of liars.

It is our assumption that the only ones left standing in support of Rafael Correa will remain the Carter Center, the US AID activists now "helping" guide the Ecuadorean American Chamber of Commerce [AMCHAM] in Quito  to enable the Correa big lie that all is well while the real story and the death  of this nation goes unreported.

Reuters reminds us that the facts they report today are in stark contrast to the pap eschewed by those addicted to manipulating facts from Ecuador.

What will the AMCHAM in Quito do now? Criticize Reuters for stating what they themselves have refused to state? We have seen how that infiltrated by idiots AMCHAM works. Exhibiting the same wimpy, murky morals of a bathhouse boys' club to mislead, not once has it stood to defend in any meaningful sense North American businesses and open trade from Correa's seizures, also called theft. Not once has it factually reported that businesses face unending nightmares in this decidedly unfree state called Ecuador and that the soon to occur transfer of all powers to the one man who should not have nor hold all powers is underway? This, the Quito AMCHAM tells us is vital....vital to lie about the perverse state of the nation...to protect Ecuador's right to lie to the U.S. government about its anti US positions, its crime and its thefts. We remind the Quito AMCHAM and all its paid pro Chavez infiltrators: it remains a crime to lie to the U.S. Congress, even in formal letters to key elected officials, and is a punishable offense, no matter what Fenton Communications and Ecuador's very expensive lobbyists cum propagandists for the anti Uribe activists, the Soros groups, the anti USA groups, and the pro Chavez groups tell you and apparently help you say as if in lock step with their highly paid propaganda efforts in Washington. Indeed, no matter what is said....the suicide of a nation and all that is stands for is still suicide and no amount of paid propaganda should encourage this. In fact, aiding and abetting the death of integrity in a nation stains the moral fiber with a glaring stench.

It is one thing for Rafael Correa to come before the United Nations this year and lie like a dog. We expect this: his masterful Ecuadorean ambassador to the United Nations, a close ally of Hugo Chavez will enjoy numerous huddles with their creepy pals who are also called the Axis of Evil, warehousing under the U.N. banner. We can also anticipate much "business" from porn start Ministra Espinosa, also called her book signings, such as that may be. And Correa of course adores the MOVEON.org style of neo socialism as promoted by his mentors as cover for socialism, currently enjoying joint US AID and Soros paid patronage, called Jeffrey Sachs and Joseph Stigletz, also promoted by U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi in her unending back room maneuvers to aid and abet the Soros actors. But Wall Street is having none of this. Wall Street has long seen Rafael Correa for the liar and the charlatan that he is. And soon more will see him for what he really is: an agent of financial racketeering to assist the unaudited, opaque, oil budget seizing Hugo Chavez money laundering and bond market rackets.

We do hope that the AMCHAMS and the Board of the Council of the Americas come to their senses and step up to the plate in support of functional democracy  instead of serving as a self perpetuating lunch club for self enriching bandits and state kleptocrats. We applaud their efforts to support small nations and small businesses. We reject their refusal to cancel their support for criminals, deviants, perverts, thugs and miscreants. Hugo is not welcome this year in New York.

Why would any perpetuate his bag man Rafael Correa? The Council should protect its defined mission and its U.S. tax free status and cancel Correa.

The Council and the AMCHAMS have a role to play for the good of international commerce and have a long tradition in this which is admirable.

There is nothing admirable in making the best the enemy of the good, no matter the discounted fees and cheesy, fake propaganda support for same.

Reuters finally got it right: Correa is a Chavez communist and seeks an end to functional democracy and open trade and commerce. It is past time for the Quito AMCHAM and the Council to get this, too lest they succumb to serving as nothing better than a chattering club for criminally aligned failed nations.

Rather than enable more mischief, it would be far more helpful to deliver a fulsome analysis of what the Americas will look like with the Manta Base transfer to the criminal cartel called Hugo Chavez and Rafael Correa.
It is mandatory that we examine factually- not with the ridiculously jaundiced eye of the new age populists for tyranny and drug running- but the real  remilitarization of Latin America.  Do you know what their plans are?
