Unacceptable Power Grabs Underway by Chavez, Morales, Correa, Ortega and Ahmadinejad

October 8, 2007  We have on these pages pointed out that Rafael Correa is part of the anti-freedom gaggle of what used to be known as the Fora de Sao Paulo and today is known as the axis of evil doers, fundamentally dishonest losers, who reject accountability and craft instability through criminal and deceptive total power grabs. As such, Iran and Venezuela, with Bolivia, Ecuador, Nicaragua and Cuba in tow, have teamed up to give new life to the ardent agenda of many activist groups like the communist Fora de Paulo which are currently sounding more and more like the menu offered up to the propagandists stemming from the George Soros-linked paid professionals, sometimes called NGOs and sometimes called US AID and US Department of State contractors. For a man like Soros, this has been a useful social engineering ploy to maintain the business efforts underway with murky Russian money men and Hugo Chavez to simply extract all mineral assets from under the noses of a gullible citizenry in the Andes, ridiculously lying to the locals that this will help the poor while miraculously reforming their little communal lives under a fascist entity led by Chavez. Even the regional Jesuits have rejected this darkening scam and, as we all know, the Jesuits are often the most gullible to the beckoning call of communism. Not any more. Nowhere is this bizarre political agenda come to life is exemplified better than the current craze to extend sea lanes outward to about 200 miles off land. Coupled with Chavez's demands- supported by his new fascist bloc of nations- that all sovereign land borders be removed to benefit Chavez's land grabs, and you have an Andean blockade in the making. There is not one South American nation with the guts or the wisdom to stand against Hugo Chavez and his back up propagandists which are often playing in the Amen Corner from the chattering class of Soros backed anti-US activist groups.

Reminding us of the impact of the anti-liberty actors today, the WALL STREET JOURNAL carried today an ominous assessment of these actors, still gaming the global system to erect some bizarre socialist system. "Currently, these include: the increasingly brazen hostility of the United Nations and other multilateral institutions to the United States and its interests; the organization's ambition to impose international taxes, which would allow it to become still less transparent and accountable to member nations; the determination of European and other environmentalists to impose the "precautionary principle" (a Luddite, "better safe than sorry" approach that requires proof no harm can come from any initiative before it can be undertaken); the increasing practice of U.S. courts to allow "universal jurisprudence" to trump American constitutional rights and laws; and the use of "lawfare" (multilateral treaties, tribunal rulings and convention declarations) by adversaries of the U.S. military as asymmetric weapons to curtail or impede American power and operations. " No one should not be surprised that this exact list of activities is encouraged and promoted by the Soros "family" of actors: just ask them...that is, if they will be honest.

There are anti freedom actors underway, seeking some bizarre one world socialism- whatever that means at the time- and these efforts stand to impact functional global liberties, as seen here in this terrific overview. The authors further explain today's realities..." The man selected by President Reagan to undertake those renegotiations was the remarkable James Malone. In 1984, Ambassador Malone explained why the Law of the Sea Treaty was unacceptable: "The Treaty's provisions were intentionally designed to promote a new world order--a form of global collectivism known as the New International Economic Order (NIEO)--that seeks ultimately the redistribution of the world's wealth through a complex system of manipulative central economic planning and bureaucratic coercion. The Treaty's provisions are predicated on a distorted interpretation of the noble concept of the Earth's vast oceans as the 'common heritage of mankind.'"

In other words, Ronald Reagan's team warns of men like Correa who seek what Chavez, Morales, Castro, Ortega and Ahmadinejad seek..." a new world order - - a form of global collectivism...that seeks ultimately the world's wealth through a complex system of manipulative central economic planning and bureaucratic coercion." In concert under some manipulative maestro, the Soros groups are actively telling us all, through word and deed, that Chavez, Correa, Morales, Ortega, and Ahmadinejad are mostly great guys. US Senator Harry Reid, like Chris Dodd, Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, also deeply beholden to Soros's deep pockets, tells us of his spiritual awakening in their Andean region presence. The Soros groups do not actually come out of their closet but play a little coy still regarding their back room supports for this "new world order" but  such an ascribed ethos permeates their agenda as solidly as does Soros's billions expended to legalize narcotics by manipulating the facts surrounding narcoterrorism and its attendant disasters. But any review of their "products" exhibits this analysis. Nor can any further forget that Correa and Chavez have united to pledge hastening this new world order, by any means available, including economic racketeering, oil-energy manipulations for self profit and a massive weapons build up, forming a blockade. To serve mankind in their "new" world order. Their efforts are not new and they are not order.

Concurrently, Mary Anastasia O'Grady in today's WALL STREET JOURNAL [read it here} reminds us that South America is sliding down hill, falling backwards with their eyes wide open in to a mostly sluggish regional veiling where the decades old ethics that manipulations is the best system for any life simply has failed its own citizens. At some point, all children and their teenagers that lead their nations must grow up or doom themselves to adolescent style foolishness. The raw, naked truth is that Ecuadoreans are not prepared to cope with or lead or thrive in today's world in general. That not one mother or father or educator or national leader senses this outrage- they are too busy pretending their lives will be better under Correa's perverted communism- exemplifies the crowded agenda of foolishness and aversion to core ethics held by many Ecuadoreans today. Ecuador's Rafael Correa is the perfect example of a shallow, badly educated, and self centered despot who preys upon the weaknesses of Ecuadorean society's selfish and self absorbed manipulative national fervor. This ten year run on installing the silliest government ever should be ending but has been given new life through Chavez's millions, spread across Ecuador like cheap money thrown at pimps and prostitutes. Rather than performing any ethical leadership, Correa bars Ecuadoreans from reaching any potential at all by insisting that Cuban healthcare will actually help, the non education viz the Chavez-Castro state school control system will prepare anyone for anything other than worsening the already non educational standards set by Ecuadoreans for Ecuadoreans because one and all are too lazy to actually install curricula that is honest and instructional. Once again, gaming the system for maximum self interest while failing the common good is repulsive and none are better at self serving repulsive behaviors than the new elite and bureaucrats of Ecuador. There is barely one honest person among them all. And that is repulsive and irresponsible.

Although Shumpeter is barely known to any Ecuadorean cognoscenti, we lament that to this list would also be included the basics of Western Civilization, which are not taught in any meaningful sense either in high schools, colleges or what some claim are graduate studies: Locke, Hume, Montesquieu, not to mention Shakespeare, Dickens and Hobbes.  Instead, most every Ecuadorean household, chock full of students and family members, are busily instructing their families how best to avoid the rigors of a well informed life, ignoring self growth and self reflection. There is no room in this frenetic abandon of consideration of the glories of this globe's last 500 years of history, literature and spiritual development in general. Neither the homes nor the schools nor the work place in Ecuador grasp the concept that these institutions are part of the self defeating ethic that today imbues Ecuadoreans in all provinces. If there is a fault line, it is this. And that fault line has been blasted open by Rafael Correa who seeks to manipulate the problems inherent in Ecuador's ridiculous global outlook while serving his particularly nasty little world view and helping no one at all outside his political pals of liars, ninnyhammers, dimwits and dunces.

And if you doubt this analysis, read again this brilliant evaluation of what is real: Latin America is loosing its once bright future to a full menu of destructive behaviors guaranteed to bar any growth and futures for Latins.

On October 1, 2007, we held a photo caption contest for the Morales and Ahmadinejad photo called  ECrisis Caption Contest: What is GOING ON HERE???. We appreciate all entries and all comments to the editors. We hear you and seriously appreciate the facts you share, the horror you feel and the fright you express to us that reprisals come to those across Ecuador who are known to Correa as his opposition. We respect your opinions and pledge our total anonymity. Some entries were quite clever. We announce our anonymous winner with a rather ominous reminder...

Another Unacceptable Power Grab: The Creeping Hands of the Creepy...Into Whose Hands do you Deliver Your Nation and Your Fate?

And when we say here that Correa lies to Ecuadoreans, we also ask this: has Correa ever once honestly revealed how many minders from the Chavez nation of KGB style operatives and Cuban "intelligence" managers are operating across Ecuador? Has Correa ever once revealed where the about $2 billion he has "lost" - aka stolen- from the first half of 2007 federal budget gone? Has Correa ever once revealed why he is begging the IDB for a bail out to cover the money he has "lost"? Has Correa ever once factually revealed his deals with Chavez and Ahmadinejad? Unless and until this occurs, Correa is a liar and a deceiver.

"Creative destruction" of our countries happens because we....let it. O'Grady is brilliant to point this out. Cubans may suffer the manipulation of all facts about their great leader Fidel Castro- the ultimate in trickery - and should be outraged that the lies just keep on coming. In death, Castro's epitaph is exactly as he lived: dishonestly and with full manipulation. There is no honor for this terrorist and murderer at all. But Correa worships Castro and the on going saga of Fidel that shows us in his death the true nature of Fidel's Cuba- a deadbeat dead zone of liars and manipulators. Ecuador is almost fulfilling Correa's vow to replicate this inside Ecuador.

Ecuador and Bolivia are swimming in their own pollution. Ecuador today is the globe's murder capitol and has deteriorated to only slightly better than Haiti, Bolivia and Venezuela for unbearably near death national disgraces. There will be no salvation nor magical cures for Ecuador under Correa's already rigged so called new constitution.

Ecuador has no future under the Chavez-Ahmadiinejad-Correa plan. Contrast the facts today from the World Bank, as noted in O'Grady's article. Historically, in 1995, Ecuador was vibrant and attracting real development, not the fake development as currently underway outside a few asparagus patches here and there.
While Correa hates- just hates- the World Bank and the IDB [rejecting even their nascent accountability], he would act responsibly if he would resign his post because he has no interest, no skill and no intention of delivering any leadership - or government- that will do anything but sustain Ecuador as a dead zone, bereft of any operational system except to serve up huge dollops of manipulation to cover over the self enrichment schemes underway. The IDB and World Bank of course show their true colors today by throwing money at Correa to help keep him in his ever onward march toward installing Chavez's regional bloc of communists, more correctly called undemocratic fascists who are corrupt, self enriching and debauched. Although Correa paid a lot of money to the same souls who helped Haiti stay in the sewer, at some point common sense must be applied. Why would anyone want to live life in the Correa sewer, as abysmally as Haitians, bound to life in servile self imprisonment to the state corruption machinery?

Today we hear from the likes of Senator Lugar of the US Senate that the USA has forgotten Latin America. That is simply not true. The USA has expanded its staff, its monies spent and, as in the case of Ecuador, seriously enriched US AID's operatives in Quito. What Lugar fails to confess, and he should, is that the US government has "forgotten" to deliver what its own laws require: transparency which now requires a forensic audit of its own expenditures in Latin America, which we also demand for Chavez and Correa. Two wildly unaccountable systems - Chavez and US AID's take over by Soros- running amuck is no way to run foreign policy for anything. However painful this may be, democracy does not function with the incessant non accountability currently underway. Do any seriously believe that there is not a juggernaut rolling across South America? That juggernaut is two fold: the Chavez oil monies and the Soros business expanding monies, incorrectly called his "philanthropy" which parallels the Chavez track. Lugar has no clue what really goes on and how USG monies are misspent.
