Correa- Chavez's New Constitution is Not New and is Not Constitutional

November 6, 2007  Hugo Chavez would have you believe whole cloth that his massive manipulation of the facts and all norms- sometimes called the law- is wonderful. So too does the pro Chavez head of the OAS and more than the garden variety of paid background back up singers of the same party line. Chavez is spending a lot of money to implant the same non-constitution in other countries such as Bolivia, Nicaragua, and Ecuador while spending even more money in countries like Colombia and Peru to create breaks with their unifying goal of reforms and increased prosperity from legitimate progress while standing against Chavez's pet aims of encouraging the FARC, the militant Muslims, Cuban-Russian intelligence managers cum murky international money movers.

Comes now former Venezuelan Defense Minister Baduel to tell us what we already knew and what Insulza of the OAS seems not to know: Chavez's new constitution is not new and it is not a constitution. Read the CNN news take on this here.

While we can only ponder in distress why it took Venezuelans so long to finally speak out and why we ponder has not one Latin American president raised one word against this sheer end to any alliance for freedom currently underway in Venezuela, Bolivia and Ecuador, we are even more distressed that no one- no one at all- has raised one meaningful word in Ecuador regarding this unlawful manifesto being installed by Rafael Correa-parroting Chavez's manifesto, sometimes called the Chavez constitution. Who stands against the patently obvious illicitness of this movement? Anyone? Meanwhile, the USA- which stands for freedom- has yet to spend one penny on supporting any meaningful reform effort and has refused to encourage any meaningful pro-liberty actors, preferring instead to spend lots of money on pet consulting groups of an eerily parallel track to Chavez-Correa's political sweep. This foolish and irresponsible support for dysfunctional non-democracy by the OAS and the USA has produced a remarkably disfigured Frankenstein baby which has grown quite horrifying endowed as it is with the face of George Soros and does now intend to cancel whatever it is that the OAS and the USA portends to defend- freedoms.

Defending freedom has never been an easy road nor has it ever once been fully accomplished in South America, by default. Nonetheless, encouraging mischief makers and groups whose aim is the installation of inchoate communism cum absolutist criminality warrants a full and immediate cessation not only to the hawkers of this very malaise but those who refuse to relay the facts, figures, data regarding the current crisis in the Andes and a full realignment of pro liberty functions.

This is to say: the OAS and the USA, if they stand for freedom at all anymore [a current check list reveals that they have failed to support functional democracy in Latin America since 2004 and by all accounts have thrown in the towel of surrender], must first deliver the correct facts and data regarding Latin America. Next both need to clean their own houses and remove the non performing goofballs on their payrolls who aid and abet this non functional democracy. And finally, both the USA and the OAS needs-must remove Venezuela, Ecuador and very soon [although admirably the freedom lovers in Bolivia today retain a seat at the negotiating table which is buying them time] Bolivia from the ranks of those claiming to be free and fair democracies when everyone but the functionaries and US AID contractors know very well that these nations are not legitimate, are not democratic and are not worthy to be at table- anyone's table. As with Iran- their newest partner, the USA, the UN and the OAS must shut down the illicit money flows across the Andes which aids and abets the vast narcoterror empire called the new FARC-Iran axis, sometimes called Bolivarianism, and call upon a replacement of normative, functional democracy, which does not exist any more in these three nations.

Democracy is not an experiment in lawlessness. Alternative law and order, also called decriminalization, never works: just ask the dead, the dying and the families of the victims strewn across Ecuador and Venezuela what they think about Correa and Chavez's decriminalization of everything adventures. Alternative democracy which places the law in the hands of one idiot who controls everything, including the lives and fortunes of the feckless nations that surrender happily to the bribes, the lies and the fake business deals, may benefit murky and dirty Russian style money men off the books and offshore but it benefits no one at all in any sustainable scenario.

Unless and until Venezuela, Ecuador and Bolivia return to normative accountability and a semblance of free speech and honesty, they have not yet returned to normative accountability, free speech and honesty. This places these nations squarely in the bloc of failed states which fail themselves and fail their citizens. The OAS and the USA have no business whatsoever propping up dishonest regimes of some of the worst trash in Latin America. Know your customers and if your customer- aka these goofy governments- refuse to deliver trust producing acts- then one must cease daydreaming that they are trustworthy. Lest the OAS appear as ridiculous as Naomi Campbell who appeared as a super model to succumb to Hugo Chavez's crooning of love songs, while forgetting that he looks precisely as Jabba the Hut these days, we are not cajoled by Chavez's claims that his regime of a love regime.

Love regimes do not debase the good men and women of the Catholic Church nor does a "love regime"- such as Hugo Chavez's latest moniker- bar free and open speech and media nor cancel all human rights, all civil rights and all norms of western civilization.  Love, in and of itself, cannot be manipulated as Chavez is doing and Naomi Campbell's uneducated, shallow romance with one of history's greatest despots reveals her own shallowness and her own willingness to be duped and manipulated. Why o why does State Department encourage these out of work former beauties and actors to travel to the Chavez propaganda mill, sometimes called Caracas, and reveal their own ignorance while creating harm to the very thing that the US Department of State is supposed to, but does not any more, stand for? Campbell tells us how full of love for mankind is Hugo Chavez. While Chavez's type of dysfunctional love does truly remain stubbornly acceptable and replicated by millions of homes on the Andes, we remind that this is neither functional nor true love. True love does not lie. True love does not manipulate. True love does not buy respect. True love does not believe that it can buy its way in to the hearts and minds of the affectionate.  True love, as in far too many Andean homes, does not reside in Miraflores Palace. What resides in Miraflores Palace is a deceptive, manipulative illegitimate form of "love" which is not love at all. Naomi Campbell tells us that Chavez and his regime is full of love.

Campbell, mimicking far too many Andean families, believes that love- like the truth- can be bought and sold while real love and its attendant acts of human kindness and charity- are to be manipulated and turned over to the vast conspiracy of "the other' - the statist controlling engine of deception and manipulation while remaining utterly unaccountable. Like Insulza's definition of democracy, as long as the thin veneer of respectability remains, sometimes called the Carter Center stamp of authenticity and sometimes called marriage in name only- the crude lie remains in play that all is well in the love fest that is Hugo Chavez when in fact it is a loveless, barren place of deceptions, insecurity and manipulative behaviors so vast that it is hard to comprehend. You see Chavez has to import fools and idiots and pay for them to prop up his self confidence. Again we remind that real love is natural and does not have to be bought from Hollywood's B list of actors and former beauties. As for the rush of love in return for the Chavez love songs, we suggest that unless and until Chavez- and so many others addicted to manipulative and deceptive behaviors- refuse to stand for principled performances amend their ruinous pathways a full and final act of real love must be underway. This is called tough love. Because the easily manipulated have failed to perform tough love on these sociopaths called the presidents of Bolivia, Venezuela and Ecuador, sadly the globe must do what their own families and schools should have done long ago: cut them off unless and until they grow up and act as responsible, credible adults.

Interventions include economic embargoes and dismissal from the OAS fabled orb of sycophants, sometimes called the Soros family of paid contractors and pro drugs activists and failed diplomacy. Interventions include fact based analysis and diagnoses of the real conditions today.

Otherwise, we may all soon have Chavez crooning his goofy and sloppy love songs 24/7 across his state controlled propaganda organs, which used to be called the media. If you think this is a good idea, read no more. In fact, we came upon this goofy promo for Evo Morales's dream of receiving the Nobel Peace prize:

Having been bested by the Al Gore adventures with the Nobel Prize committee by his money making by trading global carbon emissions for profit- lots of profit by creating a false market for global pollution fears, Evo appears intent to relaunch his lobbying efforts for the prize. No doubt he is encouraged by Gore's success at duping the globe's chattering minions through strings of propaganda and manipulations of the shallow chattering class which assist Gore's environmental pollution  emissions trading scams [whatever that is], all based on market place fears and all promoted by fearful enviros. Like Evo's failed promises at a better way, Al Gore could have and should have delivered a better way forward, devoid of his money making machinations which depend entirely on engineering fear mongering to elevate value for his carbon trades. Serving as a steward for Mother Earth requires a serious intention and not the gloss of respectability to self enrich which is rather like Evo's fake shaman cult of coca chewing Bolivarians who cheerfully export some of humanity's worst depredations and psychotropic drugs.

Freedom carries a huge burden which cannot be ignored. Its burden is the arduous, daily task of making informed choices. Were we to abandon our gift of free choice and marginalize/manipulate freedoms, we will freely surrender to the Chavez juggernaut. It is the epic struggle of our times. Either we stand for integrity and freedom or we stand for the manipulative and the dishonest. It is your choice. But when you choose, know this: you are known by what you chose and you are known by the company you keep. This cannot be ignored nor hidden in the flickering light of freedom.

It has been suggested that the lines be reformed in our schools, our workplaces and our homes to stand for freedom and honor. With assurances of the very progress known to free men everywhere, this plan can and does work. It starts with each of us and cannot thrive without the real work. Unless of course you actually believe that Correa and Chavez's kind of love is honorable. Just watch their video reruns. If this is what you believe is love, we urge you to seek professional help immediately.

Real love, like liberty and its progeny called democracy, is never manipulated. It requires that the thin veil of legitimizing the false/the fake/the manipulative untruths be removed, warts and all. Function can only follow function- not dysfunction. It is past time to stop revering the dysfunction and reinsert the functional.
President Bush once stated that we are either with the terrorists or we are with the defenders of freedom. It can never be both, however much Latins try to manipulate their way out of this one too. But know this: no nation stands long that is in bed with the global criminals and terrorists and will not overcome its false front of legitimacy, sometimes called Bolivarian sovereignty, and the veneer of democracy, however false and manipulative, for long. The facts eventually will out.
Where do you stand?
