CHAVEZ AND IRAN BUY PAL CORREA: CORREA EASILY BOUGHT TO STAND UNITED FOR NUCLEAR ANDES
November 17, 2007 We remain perplexed and quite put out with the double speak and refusal to remand the burgeoning business of criminal buffoonery emanating from the Andes, which we might add is about the only thing gaining in the Andean zone..
Hugo Chavez claims he has "found" an ally in Rafael Correa of Ecuador. The AP piece, here, is flat wrong...just as wrong as Chavez is. The AP claims Chavez miraculously "found" a new ally in Correa. The facts are this: Hugo Chavez bought an ally in the feckless and aberrant Correa, a perfect patsy if there ever was one, along with what most everyone who is talking tells us that Chavez also has handed Correa the cool millions he needs to pay OPEC for their past debts and thus rejoin OPEC as Chavez's paid voting member, bought, paid and allegiant only to Chavez. What OPEC is doing about these miscreants and why OPEC would permit Chavez and Correa to bribe and destroy OPEC is another matter but one that warrants attention. However, PUBLIUS PUNDIT, here, has much to say about the current second coming of evil, noting "Chavez is bribing the people of Venezuela to accept him as "president for life" with unlimited dictatorial power by offering them a six-hour work week. This in a country which already can't put basic food staples on the shelves. This man is evil, incarnate. He must be stopped. And let's be clear: The people of Venezuela are complicit in this atrocity: ...in neither case [Russia and Venezuela] is the West holding the peoples of the countries responsible for their outrageous irresponsibility. And indeed, Chavez and Putin are in bed together, with Putin supplying Chavez huge quantities of weapons and Chavez providing Russia with even more extreme anti-American rhetoric than Putin will dare produce and a foothold for imperialism in Latin America just like Cuba used to be for the USSR." All this is done to synthetically prop up oil prices because Chavez's regime cannot manage its way out of a paper bag and can only remain cash rich with high oil prices created through false means. Chavez tells us that this is done to "help the poor" and destroy the "evil empire." Chavez does not help the poor except on the spot give aways and Chavez needs to understand that there is no "empire" and the only "evil" that exists in his minds eye is also synthetic, paranoid and delusionally synthetic, while some incorrectly call this the alternative democracy of "fiery populism." We call it....a lie.
Evil, Incarnate

OPEC, the OAS and US AID do not need to be in the garbage dump of misguided idiots who remain complicit in this red tide either. There is no excuse for any enabling or aiding evil. In fact, OPEC should kick out Correa and Chavez because they are unaccountably criminal and have just gone wilding....nuclear wilding. Then too so should the OAS, the UN, the World Bank-IDB "loan and finance" complex and all foreign bourses, as well as any complicit actor in this spiraling out of control tale. And when we say that Chavez and Correa and Iran have gone wilding it is because they are unaccountable, persistently lie to one and all, and have global ambitions which break all boundaries of normative and acceptable positions.
We also read that REPSOL of Spain is joining the growing list of oil companies in arbitration under the World Bank over Correa's snatch and grab policies. As you can read here, the article reports that international oil companies were stunned/shocked that Correa would perform what amounts to illicit tag ons to core contracts which of course are pretexts for caducidad/asset seizures by Correa in order to steal from foreign and also domestic businesses. As we have said before, no one should have been stunned by Correa's acts over the last year. The only thing that is stunning is that investors foolishly relied on formal diplomats to provide sole source coverage and reporting on Correa which was and remains misleading, irresponsible and has now cost not only the World Bank a lot of money but also the people of Ecuador and the businesses which Correa has beaten up badly. Besides the fact that there is no credibility left at all from foreign analysts pertaining to Ecuador, anyone with one half a brain should have held the responsible position to only correct these foolish and substandard reports about Correa but owed their own shareholders the responsible actions to have performed their own due diligence, which tragically would have put them at odds with many foreign embassies in Ecuador, primary among them the U.S. Embassy which formally and emotionally embraced Correa while informing any who asked that Correa was a strong friend to the USA, was engaging in a fight against the FARC and was a savior to Ecuador because he was destroying the oligarchs. None of these so called facts contained any protective behaviors for U.S. investors who were and are stiffed by Correa and his blanket coverage of idiots informing Americans that Correa is on the right path. Ecuadoreans, along with American interests, who have been told this same steady stream of foolishness have and hold a full obligation to correct and maintain the facts about the status of their own nation and failed to do so. Because of this, both the international and domestic businesses in Ecuador have lost just about all that they have and held. A strong part of this "surprise attack" could have been responsibly prevented, at great cost saving, had anyone at all stood up to tell the facts. The fact is this: Correa and Chavez are determined to convert the Andes in to a mineral producing economy which serves their own internal politburo in a new criminal bloc, guarded by massive weapons of offense and nuclear incursions of unknown proportions. These proportions are unknown because fact based reporting is still dismissed as not needed, unfriendly and ...what do they call it exactly?...."too strong" which is of course a lie which has led to a massive cover up of the facts in the Andes. This proceeds directly from the instructive U.S. Senator Chris Dodd of the USA guided along the "hear nothing/say nothing" morass of misinformation impacting global economies, freedoms and now defense.
Comes now Brazil, having "miraculously" only just now revealing major oil discoveries, a boon for Lula, the military of Brazil's coffers and the semi public PetroBras to claim that Brazil must now urgently go nuclear and defend its new found oil with....nuclear attack subs. The MIAMI HERALD here leaves more unanswered questions, including...when was the last time that the UN inspected Brazil's new found nuclear program and where did its new found billions come from? More urgently, how valid is the new oil claim, which immediately saw more excuses for Brazil's already underway nuclear escapes.
Here is a new photo from Caracas of Chavez and his little red book. A yes for Chavez is a yes for Iran, a yes for the end of all liberties, and a yes for state suicide:

Did you know that recently, two members of the U.S. Congress released a compelling statement, officially in the U.S. Congressional Record?
MACK AND KLEIN: CHAVEZ’S NUCLEAR POWER TRIP MUST BE STOPPED IN ITS TRACKS
WASHINGTON – U.S. Reps. Connie Mack (FL-14) and Ron Klein (FL-22), both members of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, issued the following statement today after Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez told a French TV channel that Venezuela, like Iran, is moving forward with plans to start a nuclear technology program and that Chavez will be visiting Tehran early next week.
Iran has been an eager partner in assisting Venezuela with its development of nuclear technology. In February 2006, the chairman of the Iranian legislative body announced an offer to assist Venezuela with a nuclear program.
Mack said, “Hugo Chavez has made no secret of his plans to follow in the footsteps of his friend Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran and launch a nuclear program in Venezuela, and now he is following through with his promise. Chavez and Ahmadinejad’s dangerous alliance, and their desire to develop nuclear technology, should cause great alarm for the United States and its allies in the region.
“It’s imperative that our allies around the world unite to prevent Chavez from gaining access to new nuclear technology, just as they have done with Iran. That’s why earlier this year we introduced a resolution – which passed the House – expressing Congress’ concern with Iran’s growing ties in Latin America.”
Klein, the vice-Chair of the House of Representatives Iran Working Group, has been monitoring the unilateral and multilateral sanctions against Iran that were levied because of Iran’s nuclear ambitions. “Nuclear proliferation is one of the biggest threats to our national security. Iran’s nuclear program is dangerous in that it destabilizes the Middle East and poses a threat to our interests in the region. This new development of cooperation between Iran and Venezuela is too close to home.”
Mack has contacted the State Department on numerous occasions about this dangerous alliance. In September, Mack received a letter from them responding to his concerns about the potential for Venezuela to develop a nuclear program. In their letter, the State Department stated: “The Administration shares your concerns about Venezuela’s growing relationship with Iran and stated desire to pursue nuclear cooperation with Tehran…Venezuela’s wealth of oil and, particularly, natural gas, would suggest that thermal rather than nuclear power would be the logical choice for energy generation.”
“Since the State Department shares our concerns about Venezuela’s growing relationship with Iran, President Bush and the Administration must address this issue and take real steps to stop Chavez in his tracks. The United States cannot continue to let this threat develop in our own hemisphere,” Mack and Klein concluded.
Do you know what the U.S. Embassy in Quito says about all this? Ask. Do you know what the Ecuadorean embassy in Washington says about all this? Ask.
Somehow we have a strong guess that no one should be misled in the warm embrace of Chavez and Correa any longer. Chavez is whacky and mentally unfit for any office. Besides his necrophilia-like romance of the dead like Castro, Chavez is reported here to converse with the very dead Simon Bolivar, reserving empty chairs at table- official meetings- for the very dead Simon Bolivar. Now Chavez has launched another string of lies, like all utterances from his official mouth, and this time he goes against accounts by Bolivar's last mistress Manuela Saenz and his most trusted general, Sucre to claim that Bolivar did not die of disease, compounded by TB, but by assassination. Revisionist history and new speak are always hallmarks of megalomaniacs and mentally unhinged dictators. A similar deification of the precursor to the FARC and Shining Path, the terror group called the Alfaristas is underway by Correa in Ecuador. These delusional and paranoid manipulative megalomaniacs should not hold nuclear weapons nor should Correa and Chavez and the FARC's hold the new hybrid heroin in the Andes, none of this belongs in Latin America. Chavez and Correa's refusal to be accountable for their own histories, their lives, their money laundering, and heroin trade is identical to their refusal to be accountable for their new nuclear ambitions with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Like too many Andean mamas, Chavez's own mother unaccountably did nothing to guide his life and only uses Hugo for furthering her own manipulative life. Chavez's mother should have warned Hugo that the world- the credible adult world that is- an arenas she obviously had no interest in- does not do legitimate business with a "president for life" who stages fake shaman-like so called religious ceremonies, parades with the FARC and ELN leaders, kicks out the Catholic Church, romances zombies like Castro and communes with the very dead Simon Bolivar, insisting that he physically be at table. Chavez is a nut case and he talks to dead people but no one seems to want to inform their great cult leader that he is deranged. Sra. Chavez clearly was inadequate as a moral guide toward adulthood for Chavez- by choice. Today she lives like a queen in a palace, thanks to Venezuelans who permit Chavez to plunder their own treasury for his own ends, well inside the Venezuelan FARC zone, surrounded by teams of servants and guards, telling one and all of her new found love for her lovely son...because he is rich and powerful, having abandoned him at an early age. Love like this is not love and it is not honest and it is not admirable: Chavez was taught well. Unless and until Rafael Correa formally breaks with Chavez and Iran, he stands united with their aberrant plans and that is where he is today and will likely stay until he is removed.
But we are not afraid of history and we reject revisionist history and we reject dead and dishonest, manipulative people at the conference table and at the dinner table. Chavez and his ilk may welcome them but we do not. We are not afraid of the facts and we are not afraid of reprisals because truth tellers do not attack the fundamental truths. Only those who have something to hide, only those who enjoy holding no positions of principle, deliver manipulative responses and reprisals. We know what occurs with reprisals and we know why they occur.
Moreover, the U.S. Department of State should be well past "sharing concerns" about Chavez and Iran's nuclear criminality gone wilding. Just the other day, the Department was "worried" and now they are "concerned." Both responses are misleading and indicative of an irresponsible failure to assess and state the facts without actually doing anything helpful or answering key questions. All peoples of the Andes need to override this reluctance of truth telling and simply state their facts. Obviously, the U.S. Department of State would benefit from regional truth tellers however much the door is routinely slammed in their face unless they are card carrying members of the paid NGO club, mostly inhabited by Soros-backed squads of functional non reporting.
This non reporting conveniently forgets, among many crimes, that Belarus and Iran have going ahead; passport and VISA free exchanges with Chavez and even less reported infiltration in to Ecuador....unaccountable influxes of what can only be called weapons and terror personnel clubs for growth.
More to the point: who stands with U.S. Congressmen Mack and Kline demanding the truth? Can it be that some just can't handle the truth?
Iran today is the world's leading sponsor of terror. All who are with the terrorists are against freedoms. Feel free to try and manipulate this fundamental...but we warn you in advance...you will sound exactly like Chavez, Castro and Correa when you do or worse, like Ahmadinejad: liars all. If you believe that Chavez's new cult like religion of fake shamans, fake dead people and fake generosity is no replacement for functional belief systems, then you cannot believe Chavez when he tells us that his nuclear programs and his massive weapons build up are only for "peace." Men like Chavez neither have nor hold peace and would not know peace if it hit them on the head. Like Correa, Chavez is too addicted to his fine art of manipulation to sustain tranquility or engender the common good. Quality of life concerns fall away and are tertiary/collateral damage in their unending addiction to abusing all of life's qualities...because it makes them feel good/feel justified in their hatreds. Chavez neither wants peace nor does he want to be honest. There are no satisfactions with these people.
Do you feel safer knowing that these dishonest, unaccountable, mentally deficient, manipulative criminals will have their hands not just on the family car- your car under the Correa-Chavez seize, swipe and swatch plan- but also on their new nuclear weapons? Is this really what you want? Is this the happy result of romancing manipulative miscreants in their paradises of love, as Chavez calls it? If love means to you that criminality and lifestyles of the uber manipulatives are paradise, you will love their next stage...nuclear that is. There will be no excuses any more, no one to blame any more, no more manipulations to play with any more, and no way out.
Do you know what Lula, Chavez, Correa, Morales...channeling the surrealistic ghosts of Castro and Bolivar, and Ahmadinejad have planned for you?
It is your life and you have no excuses...any more.
-Pedro Camargo for ECrisis
