VENEZUELAN-ECUADOREAN-IRANIAN AXIS ON THE MOVE

November 23, 2007    Since we no longer even consider the discredited meanderings and non-functional claims that Hugo Chavez, Rafael Correa and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad are legitimate, accountable, credible leaders, we continue to make efforts to pass the breaking genesis of their ruinous, criminal acts forward. It is a dizzying effort: so many criminal acts, so much deception and so little assistance from normally active freedom lovers who have surrendered already.

The cost of enabling criminals is always high. An example is the coddling and enabling, complete with funding and political props, from the goofiest elements of the U.S. government to propel and assist Rafael Correa's installation of his criminal regime. This has cost U.S. stock holders, shareholders billions in lost revenues for those companies stupid enough to actually believe the Soros-backed and paid contractor reports on Ecuador's state of well being, and the ridiculous claims that Ecuador's government is open for legitimate business when it is only available for theft and criminal undertakings. Diplomacy is never to be abused as false advertising and for political propaganda but it appears that this costly refusal to tell the truth has cost an awful lot of money to private enterprise, including U.S. companies, losing billions.

A small oil company called City Oriente is the latest to be suffering denial of contract rights, tax law application and now suffers full extortion with threats of prison and refusal to honor arbitral court mandates. While "diplomats" who are obviously badly trained and poorly performing, cheerfully lie and mislead to tell us that corporative life must be abolished in Ecuador to help remove the "oligarchy" and break capitalism....a plan enjoyed by the entire portfolio of so called NGOs paid to promote democracy in Ecuador by the U.S. government but do nothing of the sort, moves are underway to not only ignore the World Bank arbitral court mandates regarding the crimes against City Oriente but now Correa's regime threatens imprisonment with no due process and no way out for these Americans.

The World Bank must hold Ecuador accountable for these crimes, read it herehere,  and here.  The tragedy is that this never needed to come to this breaking point and could have been stemmed long ago. Even worse is the abandonment of principles by so many who will now press the World Bank to suspend its own nascent rules to aid and abet the Chavez take over of all rules and regulations, fearful as these functionaries are of any truth telling or law and order. Manipulating courts works well in Ecuador, Bolivia and Venezuela today, which have only manipulated justice and no functional justice. While it is impossibly criminal to tamper with justice, we insist that all efforts to tamper with the U.S. judicial system and the World Bank arbitral systems cease and desist. Diplomacy must never ever be used and abused to tamper with justice and aid and abet criminal regimes.

Americans are suffering crime and punishment in Ecuador because Correa's regime is generically a hatefilled, anti American subset of sleazy criminals. Then again, one could say that the Correa regime also hates Ecuadoreans too but none seem to mind or stand up to this sweeping extortion, which Correa and Chavez call "politics."  It is irresponsible and anti-American to continue to defend and enable this criminal regime, going against common sense, international law and Ecuadorean laws to maintain the false face that the Chavez-Correa take over of Ecuador is in alignment with U.S. interests. This is a lie. The only U.S. interests served by the U.S. Embassy in Quito are those complicit with the Senator Chris Dodd- George Soros interests which are not legitimate however much they do control the U.S. Embassy in Quito. A quick review of how that Embassy spends its money and with whom they work confirms this fact. One is known by the company they keep and that Embassy keeps no company with any who are functional truth tellers, preferring instead to continue their ruinous path that some mythical peace can be had with Chavez , the FARC and Correa if and only if we lie about what occurs in these nations and stand united to ruin actual U.S. interests in the Andes which today have no legitimate supports from the U.S. embassy in Quito, determined as it is to aid and abet the Chavez take over of Ecuador and remove legitimate U.S. interests in the Andes. This is reprehensible. Attendant to this effort is an on going string of lies that Ecuador is working against the FARC. This bald lie is seen in Correa's insistence that the FARC is neither a criminal nor a terror group.

It is long past time to stop lying about Rafael Correa: he is complicit with the FARC, his is a regime determined to lie and steal from all local private and U.S. interests, and has successfully installed Ecuador as the first satellite nation as one with Chavez, the FARC and Iran.

The OAS deems Chavez and Correa as leaders in global democracy and wants to tell us all how wonderful their new non-democratic constitutions are. Here is your OAS invitation for November 27, 2007 in Washington, D.C. from Insulza, relying on U.S. tax dollars for this effrontery

We call this event an effrontery because the entire, overblown and blowsy event is engineered to under report and misrepresent the facts of the end of democracy in South America as a constitutional trend today. The OAS cannot present one functional analyst with any backbone while giving whole sway to the Chavez propagandists who will inform the public that Ecuador and Venezuela are true democracies flourishing with human rights. Insulza will feel sanctified and we will be....repulsed. This then in your OAS at work: presenting weak kneed functionaries to gloss over the main fact that the OAS is a promotional club- a speaker's bureau for Hugo Chavez, George Soros under Insulza. A superb post on this is at Western Hemisphere Policy Watch, read it here. The article notes:

"OAS/Insulza: Bolivarian Axis Propaganda Machine -Want to learn how to implement a socialist-style government? Curious about how Hugo Chavez and Rafael Correa hijacked a constitutional system of government? Does the Organization of American States (OAS) near Foggy Bottom have a treat for you?

Yet again the OAS serves as a political bullhorn for the Bolivarian Axis powers. The Secretary General of the OAS Jose Miguel Insulza is an avowed left winger from Chile. Insulza supports the Bolivarian Axis nations by using the instruments at his disposal at the OAS, albeit weak as it is, to subtly provide forums for representatives from the left to talk at such events...The U.S. Congress should add the OAS to its political cross-hairs. These sessions are just the tip of the iceberg of taxpayer waste, fraud, and abuse by this inter-American debating society. Under Insulza's leadership - a proxy for the Bolivarian Axis powers of Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Nicaragua - the OAS has lost the little credibility it may have had in Washington, DC.
In part, there could no other outcome since most Latin American countries do not know their place in the world or the system of things. You see one has to know and understand their own abilities before they attempt to do things. Most Latin American and Caribbean countries whine and complain about the U.S. in public, yet they privately want our taxpayer monies or commerce. Multi-Lateralism has led to this situation. A modern-day Teddy Roosevelt is long overdue.

If these poor countries would invest just as much time taking care of their respective countries and economies, as they do in the halls of the OAS and at other   prickly meddling in DC such as going to Congress asking for a handout, they may not be such a sad and negative lot. Free markets, transparent legal systems, and rule of law are simple yet powerful elixirs for what ails these countries. Yet leftists are a sour bunch that would rather pile on to a problem than fix it.

They would be out of jobs you see."

Bravo! The OAS needs to cease and desist paying for fake democracy reforms, moving against its own Democracy Charter, and enshrining these phony "alternative democracies" no matter what Insulza's pal Soros says. It is also long past time to stop pretending that the Soros teams are worthy, accountable emissaries of functional reporting on the Andes and cease the USA financial support for these masters of propaganda. They are not reliable U.S. tax dollar partners and exist solely to make Soros money- profit both political and monetary- according to Soros himself.

These are not the partners needed to tell the facts nor enshrine functional governance. While Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Chris Dodd...and the U.S. lady ambassador in Quito seriously believe that it is better to take Soros's money and build a better union- a Chavez-defined union- than to give the basics of democracy and truth telling a chance, we fully disagree and can only ponder what sheer irresponsibility exists that Ecuadoreans who know better have never once exercised their own basic core honesty and told these mavens of manipulation to cease and desist. There is the on going problem that Ecuador has not once had a decent diplomatic corps from the USA since about 1992 and this pattern of sub par diplomacy has cost Ecuadorians much and now costs Americans themselves much in lost AID monies and lost support for U.S. businesses and interests.

There is however a sign on the U.S. embassy in Quito. It reads, GOING OUT OF BUSINESS."  The second sign on their door reads, "Enter Only if you Work with Soros to Help Cause Harm to Uribe and Boost the FARC and Chavez." Functionally, this is how they act and what they do, give or take a few small broccoli farms and remittances banks known only to souls like Raul Gangotena which some call money laundering. If you think that the U.S. embassy in Quito and its millions wasted have actually done one thing to promote democracy in over a decade of their dictatorial controls, then you are missing the fact that there is no democracy in Ecuador, there is no rule of law in Ecuador, it is a failed state and Ecuador's government is aligned fully with Iran and Chavez as well as fully stealing from U.S. businesses. There is however a cost-benefit management report that needs to be performed on this enabling of crime and mischief empire.

You want proof of this? The proof is that while claiming that Correa is a wonderful ally of the USA, American businesses are flown out, abandoning their holdings, their personnel and their assets. U.S. ambassador Jewell's plan to help the USA is to help it surrender... to a criminal regime. Her own team tells us that this is important because....it breaks capitalism, which they consider all important even though their ridiculous opinions are not only treasonous but corrupt themselves.

The proof of this is that while the U.S. embassy cannot get around to fact based reporting on Ecuador nor on supporting its own mandate, Rafael Correa continues to run amuck. Ecuadoreans know what they need to do and they know that they have also abandoned and surrendered hope and their own internal honor by failing to stand on principle. We are confident that this self fulfilling circle of enabling manipulative activities will gladly lie some more and defend each other as fabulous. Yes- they are fabulous, fabulous in surrender and abandonment of all international norms.

Today Reuters news service writes to tell us that Chavez "burnished" his diplomatic skills over the FARC hostage release issue. If by this, the writer means that Chavez tried to promote his personal politics of hatred and deception, which he calls diplomacy as practiced by his entire "diplomatic" corps, then- yes, he succeeded. And if this agent of the FARC and Chavez, a "senator" from Colombia succeeded in making Nancy Pelosi her new best friend and in the process exposing the tremendous lobbying efforts underway to "normalize" the FARC and their state sponsor today called Venezuela, then- yes, Piedad succeeded as an agent of the FARC and Chavez.

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez (L) and Colombian Senator Piedad Cordoba attend a news conference in Paris November 20, 2007. France urged Colombia on Thursday to reverse its decision to call off talks between Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and Colombian Marxist guerrillas aimed at securing the release of hostages who include a French citizen. However, in truth telling and fundamental rules of diplomacy which always relies on truth telling, neither Chavez nor "Piedad" succeeded except in appearing on the world's stage in almost over blown, blowsy fashion which never quite makes it with the always-soignée French who were appalled at Chavez's lack of substance, his double speak, and Piedad's over done theatrics and appearance. Both lied and misled the globe and must be held accountable.

In fact, this is how the Chavez government-paid for by Chavez to debase Liberty and replace it with the red fist of communist oppression- sees its expensive paid political efforts across the Western Hemisphere:

Chavez funds expensive disinformation campaigns such as this one, see it in all its dishonesty here at one of many Chavez funded efforts and ask yourself what you would do about Chavez and his paid armies of the night if you suffered as Americans do this glorious effort they pretend is fabulously transpiring....the take over of freedoms and liberty by Hugo Chavez and his foot soldiers? If you were an American, how would you feel experiencing Chavez's propaganda and stated intentions about your own nation? We remind that it is lazy and self serving to assume that the USA is "rich" and therefore can take care of itself and whatever bad or dishonest happens in the USA is its own fault. It is also not true that whatever happens in Latin America is singularly the "fault of" Latins. In fact, we are all in this together however much Latin Americans pretend that being lazy and unconcerned about anything outside of the TV room is of any consequence. Iran's added special hatred for freedom adds a stunning new element to this arbitrage against democracy.

Pay attention to the communist/red ideology: note that Lady Liberty's beacon of light for learning and living is replaced by the fist- the state fist- of oppression and the end of informed free speech. If you think it is a good idea to pretend that freedom's beacon of light must be replaced by the fist of the state, then this blog cannot help you however much you need help. If you enjoy pretending that nothing matters in your life except in your kitchen, then this blog cannot help you however much you are advised to stay informed, be flexible and commit to a life well lived, which does not include the now standard Latin retreat from responsible behaviors. Chavez's goons scream ` power to the people' - their way: by force and by extortion. Liberty offers power to the people as an avenue that contains hope, free speech and informed debate. If we do not use the gifts of freedom and exercise our obligations to protect and defend the gifts of freedom, we abandon freedom.
