November 28, 2007  Jimmy Carter wants you to know that Venezuelans face a dilemma on 12-2-07: to vote or not to vote on Chavez's "constitution."

Carter informs us, "Numerous sectors, both supporting and opposing the current administration, have questioned the process that led to calling the referendum.  Among other aspects, it has been argued that no clear rules were issued; inequitable access to the mass media has prevailed; and not enough time or opportunity was allowed to hold a mature and responsible debate about the proposed reforms. Various sectors underscored that, given the extensive nature of the proposed reforms; a Constituent Assembly was called for rather than a referendum.

Likewise, distinguished constitutional experts of the continent agree that some articles of the proposed reforms affect basic inalienable human rights which, once acknowledged as in the current Constitution, cannot be legitimately limited by means of a referendum nor a Constituent Assembly." Do you have any idea what this garbly de gook means? It means that Chavez is hosting a pre rigged election this Sunday but Carter wants you to think that even with all that, the election MIGHT be accountable when nothing in Venezuela is accountable. Moreover, why the straight talking students in Venezuela totally ignore this Carter effrontery and have gone honest- talking straight and calling Chavez's so called constitution for what it is: a farce and an end to all freedoms. This is in stark contrast to Carter's tortuous machinations of the Andean realities. Truth tellers in Venezuela do not need nor appreciate this goofy, messed up psychobabble from Chavez and US AID-Carter camps to misinform Venezuelans about the stark and quite grim prospects they live with, called Chavez's dictatorship. Read about it here and here.   Instead of Carterite psychobabble, Venezuelans have long needed a hand in support...to tell the truth. That help has functionally yet to come their way and will tragically be missing again this week, replaced instead by manipulative psychobabble.
 
The Venezuelans face a dilemma all right. They face the end of their freedoms and the abrupt theft of their patrimony and liberties by Chavez's regional manifesto of aggressive communism and self enriching rackets. Jimmy Carter calls this a "dilemma." We call it criminal. Carter tells us that Chavez's antics have led to a point where "some argue that no clear rules were issued, inequitable access to media has prevailed....and no mature and responsible debate [was held] about the reforms." What Carter should say are the facts: Chavez controls all rules to the point where there is no rule of law in Venezuela/no democracy; Chavez owns almost all media and there is no free and open speech or voting without reprisals or worse and there was no debate about Chavez's take over- just more hand wringing, more enabling and worse: Chavez's threat that unless one is with him, one is a traitor. But Carter does not point this out in his irrelevant and useless, however well paid, U.S. taxpayer waste in Venezuela. But neither Jimmy Carter nor Hugo Chavez want you to know about this although Chavez warns that if you challenge or question his insistence that one and all surrender to his graft, he will take your land, your home, your job and your soul. Jimmy Carter does not seem to mind this at all and joins a long line of Andean personages who seriously believe that they alone can game the system- the Chavez system- and come out unscathed and "rich." As manipulators like Gustavo Cisneros now know, freedom lovers are repulsed by their selfishness and abandonment of principles, as seen recently by students silently protesting Cisneros at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. see the 11-27-07 event invitation  here as he attempted to explain himself alongside Spain's Aznar during an academic conference on competitiveness and governability. The students, who enjoy the right to free speech with no reprisals, silently protested what they see as Cisneros's perfidy and profiteering/ moral sell out to Chavez's dictatorship. Cisneros, it is reported, was speechless, unused as he is to any who even blink twice at his arrogance, sure as he is that he alone has the money making manipulative right to conspire for profit with Hugo Chavez who has removed competitiveness and governability. What Aznar thought the freedom loving Venezuelans, like freedom lovers in Ecuador, would think of his shoulder to shoulder team ups with some of Ecuador's most politically manipulating banks and Venezuela's manipulating media mavens is not known....yet.
 
Venezuelans face a dilemma. Jimmy Carter's paid employees distribute leaflets and fliers and Open Letters to Venezuelans telling voters to vote this Sunday. Carter, as usual, forgets to grasp the facts that Hugo Chavez's election machinery holds nothing but perfidy. No one- no one at all- trusts the voting apparatus in Caracas from the billion dollar babies called SMARTMATICS to the cable transmission of the voter data to the electronic compilation of the vote tallies.
 
Venezuelans know that Jimmy Carter is paid a lot of money from the USA, mixed with Chavez's largesse, to "monitor the Venezuelan media" regarding the vote on Sunday. This adventurism in electioneering by Carter hoists Carter on his own petard because Carter says he is there to monitor media...but there is no functioning media- free or fair- to monitor. Carter's contract fraud is not unlike taking large chunks of USA monies to monitor banana crops...in Antarctica where no bananas grow. Hugo Chavez has inserted his own media in Venezuela, controlling as he does now, over 95% of all media for his singular message alone, which of course tells us that Carter tells us that Venezuelans must vote on Sunday. To vote on Sunday confirms the delusion that the voting apparatus is fabulous and valid, when it is not.
 
Venezuelans have a dilemma for sure. Jimmy Carter is paid a lot of money to do something that cannot be done and comes now to tell voters to vote on equipment that cannot be used. Worse yet, Jimmy Carter says nothing about this for to state any core facts would see Carter in jail along with other truth tellers in Caracas.
Claiming wrongly that they could not get election observer teams organized fast enough, the OAS, the EU etc. tell us that they need six months prep time and Chavez only gave them one month to prepare. To legitimize the election observer process, Chavez and US AID back EYE on ELECTIONS and their 400 person observer team this Sunday. Noticeably supported by Soros's pet NGO called WOLA, EYE on ELECTIONS is not referenced by Carter either but they are also being paid lots of money to "observe."
 
With no legitimate voting apparatus and no free and fair media and no capacity to speak openly without being shot, Venezuelans face a dilemma all right.

Their dilemma is this: they do not know why the USA and Soros back up this gaggle of misinformation specialists sent to their country by the USA to essentially hide the horror they live with and soothingly ignore Chavez's crimes. In fact, Carter's open letter to the people of Venezuela is a masterpiece of the principles of manipulation. Carter, as with far too many in the Andes, manipulates reality by ignoring it and pretending that it does not matter. The corrupt electoral process  under Chavez's machinations and reprisals of job loss and loss of civil liberties if one fails to vote with Chavez are cheerily ignored by these reprehensible so called NGOs who just want to make their contracts pay them so they can leave town, Caracas that is. But Carter does tell us that voting on Chavez's constitution is all right
 
The Venezuelans face a dilemma all right. They know that their natural ally in partnership for alliances in liberty remains the USA and the OAS having witnessed how quickly all Latins abandon their friends in times of trouble. Problem is....the OAS under Insulza intends to serve as Chile's next Soros-backed president and he sold out Venezuelans a long time ago, as he did all souls in South America, all that is unless linked to Soros and Chavez. For their part, the OAS has just announced a new blue ribbon panel to study these democracy ending constitutions in Bolivia, Ecuador and Venezuela which forcibly break their own nations with the OAS Democracy Charter and which Insulza determinedly enabled. No one- no one at all- believes that the OAS will tell the truth about these horrific instruments of oppression and state kleptocracy called Bolivarianism.
 
The Venezuelans have a dilemma. The USA keeps sending them Soros and Carter Center actors who have been run out of many nations, even Ethiopia for similar failed efforts to "forget" to tell the truth about their recent rigged elections and burgeoning Marxism. While the USA hastily reports that as a nation it stands for freedom and we come to the aid of our friends, as with bowing to the obvious extortion rackets foisted on the Western Hemisphere by Chavez, the USA bows to the extortionary tactics of the democrats of the USA who seriously want to fund the Soros teams across Latin America, or as Carter tells the Venezuelan people, " Based on our longstanding and deep commitment to the Venezuelan people, and as democrats committed to strengthening democracy and the freedoms and fundamental rights of all people, we are convinced that despite the flaws of this process and given the imminence of the referendum, the citizens of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela should exercise their right to vote in a responsible way and state their opinion by voting and actively participating in the design of their country, either approving or rejecting the proposed Constitutional reform. "
 
While Carter is entirely honest that USA Democrats fund Carter and Soros and their stated "strengthening democracy" efforts, the repulsive lie in all this is that there is no democracy in Venezuela- just rigged voting apparatus. There is no democracy in Venezuela where Chavez has overtly had all hands on power for years, controlling every facet of life. As Carter calls them, these USA "democrats" seriously believe that democracy is about the old fashioned votes and never about truth telling. Thus, the USA appears to fund Soros and Carter who join with Chavez in their refusal to state honestly that Hugo Chavez is a dictator and a manipulator of all that he touches. Soros does this in hopes that Uribe's anti narcotics efforts will be cancelled by his pet politicoes named U.S. Senators Dodd, Clinton, Obama, Reid, Durbin and Leahy under the ever active money management of Tim Reiser of the U.S. Senate appropriations wallet, now open for Soros and anti Colombia activists to debase progress in Colombia.
 
Carter hopes that foolish citizens will actually be duped in to thinking that Chavez's electioneering, graft, and full dictatorship will be ignored if Chavez simply rolls out voting machines, machines of duplicity as they are today. If this devil is in the details, the devil has been in Caracas for years and it is past time to cease revering Chavez for his dearly loved gamesmanship of attacking freedom lovers in the entire hemisphere now and state the facts about who and what he is. With over five years of funding and a call to do this, not one of the Soros groups nor Carter has relayed the facts. Instead the world gets manipulative language, so goofy and useless that one re reads their scribblings and cannot but wonder why these manipulative USA contract holders get paid.
 
The Carter Center tells us that Venezuela is on the horns of a dilemma. That dilemma is that Carter, who has been enjoined with the Chavez actors for too many years, holds no trust and holds no capacity to restore trust in his highly paid services. Venezuelans have experienced Carter's duplicity, like Gustavo Cisneros, and trust him not. And in this they are right. But wait! The OAS- after the fact that it has foolishly blessed these non democratic dictators will apply a new Band Aid to the region- yet another phony report to tell us all that the OAS is worried but there are no breaks in democracy. And if you believe this, you are a manipulative fool as well.
 
No self respecting soul should suffer highly paid consultants to tell them that what they know is so...is not so. That is, no one should suffer Carter and the Soros teams telling them that democracy flourishes in Ecuador, Bolivia and Venezuela when they know that this is not so. And no one should suffer the indignities of the Soros groups, boosted by "Democrats" from the USA and varying limousine liberals telling them that their lives will be better once Alvaro Uribe is gone from Colombia and the FARC and Chavez over run Colombia. In fact, this covert treason needs to stop. Latins instinctively are repulsed by the burgeoning FARC heroin trade underway and as Colombia's future brightens, roundly support Uribe's political leadership even as U.S. Senators Ted Kennedy, Pat Leahy and Barrack Hussein Obama want all support monies for Colombia and its defense against narcoterrorism stripped/taken away right now and converted to the Soros and Carter Center version of democracy....which is the Correa-Chavez-Morales democracy so blessed by the OAS which is not democracy and it is not honest and it is not much more than decriminalizing crime and legitimizing illegitimate undemocratic acts. Tim Reiser apparently thinks that by controlling USA purse strings for Latin America, he can alter the entire U.S. foreign policy to benefit his Soros and Carter compadres under vast pre-approved U.S. anti-democracy contracts under the NED, IFES and other contract vehicles. We say these are anti-democracy contracts because of what they do and how they act to encourage these so called "new" or "alternative" democracies which enshrine "new" and "alternative" law and order. This is not new and it is not democracy and is contract fraud. Chavez calls this his Magna Carta. We call this another lie. Latins need a hand in help, that is for sure. But this kind of "help" from Soros, the OAS and US AID/Carter is not helpful, it is not honest, and it is not productive.
 
In a blatant bow to Soros and his anti Uribe armies of political policy paper pushers, U.S. Senate Majority leader Harry Reid publicly tells us that he will not support Uribe of Colombia for a real free trade deal. Read it here as Reid also tells us that the U.S. Democrats have built strong relations with Latin Americans as he tries to look well informed {and fails} by saying that Chavez has been too chatty/too critical of late. Harry Reid's new best friends in South America look like Nancy Pelosi's Soros-backed, anti-Uribe best friends: Piedad Cordoba and every pro FARC and pro Chavez activist that crawled out from under their well paid consultancies. One cannot be a freedom lover and perpetuate a politics of hate campaign against the principled Alvaro Uribe, no matter what Soros and Harry Reid tells you. Harry Reid says he wants to be friends despite Chavez's criticisms of the USA. Harry Reid is embarrassing and should not be allowed to stumble around the universe and promote false faces for friendship funded by US AID and Soros. We remind that Reid's condemnations of the USA and his own failure to lead in the U.S. Senate are almost as bad as Chavez's condemnations of the USA and remain far more pernicious. Reid refuses to stand with Uribe while calling him a "friend." Friends like this are not friends and are...duplicitous liars.  No word yet if "Ambassador" Brownfield applauded and embraced the oh so wonderful, however unpopular in the USA, majority leader Reid or if the window dressing U.S. republicans caught the next flight home from Bogata in disgust over Reid's abuse of principle and privilege in his effort to appease the so called Hispanic voters to stand with Manual Lopez Obrador and the Democrats who are selling out the USA in a raw urge for power controls. The fact is this: Harry Reid wants Uribe gone and Plan Colombia to fail and Soros's do drugs and pro Chavez groups to be happy. Uribe should tell U.S. ambassador Brownfields to take his CODELS and his US AID-Soros-backed NGOs of unhelpful anti-Colombia, non trade propagandists and get out. Uribe needs and deserves friends but these are not friends. Uribe knows that the FARC and Chavez....and all their allies...want him dead. They also want Nancy Pelosi's new friend Piedad Cordoba, the FARC moll and Chavez lover of communism to replace Uribe immediately as "interim" president and restore the FARC and Chavez to their rightful place as global narco terror king pins. Piedad Cordoba must be placed on the USA not welcome list and all support for her sedition and crimes be cancelled. The overblown and blowsy Piedad says she seeks human rights but would deny law and order under her FARC-Chavez plan for Colombia. She is, like Chavez and Rafael Correa... a state sponsor not of human rights, -read it here-, but of narcoterror. The USA, sometimes called the Democratic Party, must respond and stop rolling out the welcome mat to these perps and criminals. Piedad Cordoba has been at her game of duplicity for many years: it is her career. No one should be deceived by these pro Chavez and pro FARC tricksters. They may deserve their Miranda Rights first but nothing else-certainly not U.S. governmental support, entree, media attention and U.S. Democrats' support, for they deserve to be in jail.
 
Today Chavez blames everyone for his problems. He even states that the USA is actually paying people to mouth words against Chavez's dictatorship.

While we all know that not one person on the USA's Andean region contractor list, also known as US AID-NED workers, has ever uttered one word against Chavez...or the FARC or Morales and Correa for that matter, it is tragic that the USA does not release and support phalanxes of truth tellers in the Andes. The misinformation and paid propaganda today is huge. Here is a TV clip from a Cuban truth teller reminding us of the serious business from the Castro-Chavez team to lie for hire. There is no doubt left that Venezuela and Ecuador should be on the state sponsor of terror list from the USA.  We also understand that this process will not come to pass as long as truth tellers are not permitted in the Andes or the OAS.
 
Venezuelans have a dilemma all right: their nation is called to vote on Sunday after years of lies and propaganda that Hugo Chavez is a great leader in the region which has been backed up by massive bribes and extortion to insure that those bought stayed bought while terminating accountability and free speech and the freedom to worship. By Chavez's hand there is nothing free or fair about his election this Sunday and no accountability or verification capability for voters under the shamefully fake election process, chock full of bribes. Venezuelans can hope that somehow their vote matters because they know, as we all know, that there is no majority support for Chavez's suicide pact for Venezuelans. Instead of support for free speech, free votes and liberty...Venezuelans get comments like... 'Venezuelans need to build consensus and self reform.' All well and good and true we say but remind us...how does one stand up to a gun? Millions of them now.
 
There is no democracy in Venezuela under Chavez's dictatorial controls for years. It has been a fool's errand to say that freedom has a chance on Sunday.

Yes- freedom has a chance by a miraculous occurrence and we hope that the votes take place peacefully with accountability, the latter never assured nor in play. Shamefully, none in decision making capacity have actually studied the actual Chavez and Correa and Morales constitutional changes, much taken directly from Castro's Cuba, thanks to Sr. Pastor and his team in Caracas of hard line Reds and Cuban "intelligence" officials. The core of this string of lies is to even dare call these new so-called non-freedom constitutions from Chavez-Castro-Morales-Ecuador, which unites their previously free nations in to a new bloc....a Chavez militarized bloc of unaccountability and dictatorial full powers under economic fascism... as Magna Cartas. These are no replicas of Magna Cartas and the name is as fake as the so called constitutions themselves. These are no social contracts...they are suicide pacts.
