December 5, 2007    We all- all of us- know what happened Sunday night in Caracas regarding the obvious end of the Chavez-Correa-Castro-Morales bloc. What we do not know is why so many are so determined to continue to tell us across the WASHINGTON POST, TAL CUAL and the NEW YORK TIMES that what we all know needs revisionism and strong doses of their own private CYA sessions. What few know is exactly how many prerogatives, also called vested interests or paid participants- hundreds of thousands now- stood to lose their Russian money backed hand in Chavez's power-for-money gambit and how hard they would fight to stay the hand of deception to retain their cash cow called Chavez's open wallet.
 
These seekers of their own satisfactions, their own self enriching gambits and gambles are, to be sure, no friends to democracy or justice or western civilization writ large. No indeed. Friends like these are not friends at all.

These friends of Chavez today tell you that democracy won on Sunday in Caracas and that Chavez's cravenly illicit voting apparatus was never that bad and oh by the way- Chavez is not that bad. Friends like these are manipulative, lying deceivers who will do anything to stay in the passenger van with Chavez as long as they money is rolling in or their delusional pipe dream of some bizarre Red zone in South America where drugs are no problem and the girls- like Piedad Cordoba, not to mention Suzana Cabeza de Vaca, are for free.  Friends like these are not honest and they are not friends. These are not new tactics and they are not truth tellers.
 
Chavez's best friend is....a fractured opposition and all those he pays to sustain its fractured face. Continuously punching truth tellers in the face, Chavez has followed the road map laid out by his Cuban and Russian money making pals now coordinating with Iran and some say with the Soros money makers and installed his infiltrators well. His paid proxies and agents of double speak do a good job confusing the weak and those too lazy to make their own decisions. There are tens of thousands of them now- in every capitol where Chavez and his global allies like Cuba, Ecuador, Russia, Belarus and Iran seek advantage through misinforming policy mavens.
 
Chavez not only makes misinformation/lies but he benefits politically and financially from his merry band of craven double agents among us.

This may sound like the old Cold War warriors and it is. It may sound like we raise the alarm bells for we do. We suggest that you do the following: watch, learn and listen. Every time you experience first hand life's events and you experience a revision of what you know to be so as told you by hacks also present, stand for your truth telling and the reality of what you know to be so. This will require a commitment to living not normally found in the Andes.

It will require you to reject that which your mother teaches you which is primordially to be well instructed in the ways of manipulative thinking- not historically correct, reason based fact reporting. But it will get you out of the box of irrational and untruthful dysfunction...which is what Ecuador is today.
 
Chavez retains his powers to self enrich because no one holds him accountable for his crimes and theft of state assets. The same is true for Rafael Correa.

Without accountability, there is no democracy. Without democracy, Chavez is as illegitimate as he has been for the last 6 years.
 
Correa, like Chavez, has actively paid a lot of money to bring down truth tellers and any political parties so that, by force and by deceit, the cheerful claim remains that the "opposition" has been broken to destroy, as U.S. ambassador Jewell so proudly tells us is her goal- to remove the "oligarchy" to help the poor. Sounding more like Marx that the USA, we still do not know what Jewell means because any who know Ecuador know that the so called first families of Ecuador exist not any more. They were essentially destroyed when then predecessor to Tom Shannon at USA's State Department's Peter Romero blessed then president Mahaud and his heavily overpaid financial advisor and George Soros employee Jeffrey Sachs who oversaw the worst economic collapse in the history of the Andes in 1999.

Such criminal rampaging was not good then and it is not good today.
 
The so called opposition is advised never to play the blame game and instead focus on progress for the future and stop splintering the goal. This is true. However, none can focus on unity as long as there is no accountability and no facts. This is a generalized fault line in Ecuador and Venezuela, intentionally crafted to retain the splintering of the opposition which has no facts and no capacity to stop its own blame game because it has no facts. We believe that there are more than enough facts to complete the fact based reports so urgently needed. We maintain that this must be finalized and that the defenders of freedom must use this consensus wisely to congeal all defense of liberty and cease making excuses. No one will do this for you- no one. Certainly not the state and definitely not the USA which have teamed with the local governments to bar fact based reporting, sometimes called "diplomacy" and other times called denial of the first line job obligation to report the facts.
 
Today's MIAMI HERALD tells us that Leopoldo Lopez warns Venezuela's opposition to reform the lines and stay united. Read the story here. This is laudable yet impossible as long as the truth of Chavez remains covered in past deceptions.

It is impossibly aberrant and a fools' errand to dream of uniting against Chavez as long as liars and double agents among us actively inform that Chavez leads a democracy and that the unaccountable and criminal backer of state terrorism is legitimate. Hugo Chavez is not legitimate and Venezuela has not been a democracy for over six years.

Far too many- what did he call them- "stake holders" as Baduel's ghost writers inform us do indeed have hidden stakes they hold regarding Venezuela. Primary among them is the fact that these so called NGOS sold the world on the validity of the OAS-advertised fake voting machines in Venezuela while not once- not once ever- independently testing these machines of deception. Stake holders had stakes all right and their stakes were driven in to the heart of democracy and truth tellers while far too many paid foot soldiers of mayhem and mischief happily told us all that they are "worried" about Chavez and that Chavez was and is democratically serving and crowned when nothing could be further from the truth.
 
Without Hugo Chavez, Rafael Correa would be some aspiring only tin pot badly educated dictator and so called economist- Marxist economist that is- on the stump. Correa, thanks to Chavez's illegal monies - as Chavez on a moped, is a man who rigs economic data, as he did in his Ph.D. thesis to back up his political opinions that the world is better off under Karl Marx than freedom. Any who tell you that Rafael Correa is a functioning and appropriate defender of trade and democracy is a liar. Correa has been fired from every job he ever held and needs to be fired from this one.
 
Without U.S. ambassador Jewell reminding the Ecuadorean public that the full faith and warranty of the U.S. government backs this lying and deceptive installer of the Chavez bloc in Ecuador, Correa would not retain his Chavez funded tyranny. El Comercio reports here.  

Linda Jewell needs to be recalled quickly. She represents not the U.S. government but instead  her personal, preferred sub set of Soros-laced NGOs called US AID contractors- over $30 million a year now to aid and abet the Chavez bloc of Andean nations now. This is unnatural and needs a total realignment now.
 
Both Chavez and Jewell's red flag waving NGOs refuse to state the facts about Correa and enshrine his powers to deceive and steal which remains contrary to the truth and democracy. It is time for Chavez, Correa and Jewell to depart. Linda Jewell should be apprised that without her promotionals for Correa's lies and misgovernance, Chavez's monies controlling Ecuador's Correa would not override common sense and rule of law. But Jewell makes enabling excuses for this regional criminality and fails to report the facts of the Chavez bloc, active today in destroying the region. Like Hugo Chavez, Jewell needs to go and take her unaccountable- however much these groups lie in their US AID accounts and deceptive pro Chavez, Soros-laced activists, also called US AID backed NGOs, with her now. Pull the plug on these deceivers and watch them go down the drain of slime and you will observe a higher quality of fact based reporting, having removed the Maginot Line of 4th rate foolishness and disinformation agents such as Valeria Merino who has risen from the dead, so to speak and actively self enriches again with more wide spread foolishness regarding Ecuador. Valeria is not the face of truth telling for Ecuador- far from it. She is a Soros groupie of disinformation, illegal abuse of US AID funds and political propaganda so deceptive that it is not to be born. Ms. Jewell and Insulza of the OAS call her a legitimate mouth organ for their special and unique brand of alternative democracy. This is the same alternative democracy promoted by Soros, by Chavez, by Putin and Morales, by the NED and by the OAS. It is not new and it is not democracy.
 
You may want to review the words of the Chavez-Cuban hard leftists by Heinz Dietrich, socialist scribe to Castro's own Sr Viciano Pastor busily scribing away the three nation bloc screed of Cuban style non democracy here to understand why it is we say that these constituent assemblies in Bolivia, Venezuela [soon] and Ecuador are identical to the Smartmatics- full of preplanned deception and staged legitimizing by constitution what should never be legitimized. These so called constituent assemblies are not honest, are not legitimate and are not democratic- they are deceptions.
 
As we have just witnessed in Venezuela, there were no heroes Sunday night. The real heroes- the people, the students, the Church won. With at least an estimate of upwards of 70% of the vote Sunday- against great odds and certainly never reflected on the unaudited Smartmatics- Chavez's entire political life ended. Facing massive civil war and the collapse of his house of fake cards- called his rigged elections, Chavez ceded a fake version of the vote Sunday in order to stay in power when he should have simply gone quietly in to the night and taken his audience of FARC leaders and supporters with him, perhaps to exile in Havana. But no- the Church, the students and the voters were once again lied to and manipulated by all concerned on Sunday night. Tragically satisfied to pretend that democracy had won Sunday when the entire Chavez house of cards and crime had been exposed for his 7 year run of illegitimacy, many happily surrendered Sunday. The truth and the facts are still not known- at all and may never be known to preserve prerogatives already known to us all. While busily touting the new found Chavez-replacement, General Baduel, we remind that Baduel was no where in support of the Bishops, the Vatican, the students, the millions of Venezuelan citizens when their need was most dire. Baduel now speaks his ghost written words that he defends his "stake holders" and that may be the only honest words he has ever spoken. That would be his paid backers called stake holders who refuse to let the truth of the last 7 years be on the table, refuse to confess that Chavez has not once been democratically and legitimately re elected for over six years and that the entire claim that he is democratically elected and democratically rules is a lie . To perpetuate this crude lie within a lie is unending and does a crass disservice to history. We know, as any with simple common sense, know that Baduel was part and parcel of the "stake holders" Sunday night in Caracas who could have and should have moved correctly to remove the illicit Chavez. Instead, they protected their stakes and not the truth. Chavez lost his vote but kept his power and his money for them.
 
We suggest forming your own opinion and not adopting ours. Start by asking Baduel who has been funding him the last 9 pregnant months? Ask him who helped script his current crop of position papers appearing in U.S. newspapers, notably the NEW YORK TIMES with remarkable speed and access? Then ask Baduel what one thing he ever did to help the students per se and what one thing he ever did to help cancel the massive multi billion dollar theft of RC TV? Ask. Ask and know who and what your new hero is. He is no hero and he is not new, however much he was correct in parroting what the world already knows: democracy does not live in Venezuela and has not for many years. Chavez simply sought to codify the fact of what he has been doing and will go right on doing. Voters did win the right to supposedly vote again. But nothing has changed and no Venezuelan voting apparatus has been cleaned up- not one. Sunday's so called win was a manipulated and deceptive outcome which denied the truth, killed the facts and kept Chavez in play with his money and his power. Illegitimacy and deceit won on Sunday. If Baduel claims to be the hero of that mess, so be it.
 
Bound as they are, in varying stripes of RED and self delusion, the friends of Chavez have kept him aloft like an inflated balloon of bejinxed bombast:



Real friends prick the balloon of manipulative bombast with the words of truth and deflate the fears of the weak and foolish with words of strength and hope.

Take a good look at this cartoon today: you will see the same apologists again and again in the coming months, all busily trying to tell us all that the last 7 years of fraud and deception did not happen. Like the Hitlerian Hindenburg blimp, this puffed up machine of buffoonery will be flying the skies of Sucre and Montecristi next week. No word yet on which one horse town or trailer park town Chavez will pick for his hide away from transparency, open media and democracy called Latin American constituent assemblies. Somehow we envision Chavez's last erection in honor of democracy's demise somewhere near the border with Colombia- close to his seven or more Venezuelan sponsored FARC terror training camps and la estancia de la Madre de Chavez. Such plantation plans are not new and they are not helpful. We do not know if Piedad Cordoba will preside over this "peace process" or not. She appears to be escaping as a fugitive from justice in Colombia and as First Lady of the FARC and Chavez's dream team of criminals and perps, needs to have her bona fides yanked. 
 
Today the Chavez-funded HANDS OFF Venezuela campaign has won again. No one at all in Caracas won on Sunday except Chavez's paid propagandists and his murky money cum intelligence making men in the shadows. They all need to go. Their type has been around for thousands of years and still yet have no legitimacy as long as we reject their illegitimacies. Friends like these are not friends...they are perps.

Here is why Hugo Chavez and Rafael Correa need to pack up and go....to Havana or Zimbabwe- we care not. Chavez this very day denounces the vote on Sunday and calls it all....sh - -. And he vows revenge. Note how his own military leaders look at his lunacies. 

The days of Hugo Chavez's manipulative imperialism are over. He, along with Correa and Morales, needs to go now.

Look closely at that face. Ask yourself....is this the face of any sane government in Bolivia, Ecuador and Venezuela? And then ask yourself if you trust those deranged hands to control PdVSA, PetroEcuador and upwards of over $40 billion in weapons orders....nuclear weapons and nuclear subs from Russia?

Do you believe that Chavez with Correa's help now should run a bloc around Latin America? We certainly do not. And we remind that unless and until Rafael Correa formally and fully breaks with Iran and Chavez, he has not done so. Instead every agreement with these deranged masters of manipulation remains in play. There is no distinction between Correa and Chavez and you know this. You want this in Montecristi???  You have got the power to ask Rafael Correa when he will formally break with Chavez and Ahmadinejad. You have got the power to ask Linda Jewell this same question. You have got the power to decide if Correa's satisfactions do truly satisfy...your needs.
