Ghostly Castro Directs Fools, Idiots and Deceivers: Conjuring Directives to Chavez, Correa and Morales who Continually Deceive and Insist that their own Citizens be the Last to Know the Truth....meanwhile None Demand the Truth
December 20, 2007 Fidel Castro's politburo has played its hand at deception long enough to try to tell the world that Fidel is just resting now... and that Hugo Chavez and Rafael Correa and Evo Morales are wonderful leaders.
The problem with all this is that it is based on a lie to cover up the core fact that none of these things are true. Just because it is an INCONVENIENT TRUTH that Castro's days are over - and so too are Chavez and Correa's- it is long past time for the OAS and the UN and freedom lovers to take a stand that ghost writers in the sky do not run countries and do not run economies of scale. More to the point, having killed freedom- and untold tens of thousands- in Cuba, Castro seems to be preaching from his grave:
The OAS and the UN have never once in 40 years said one meaningful thing about the lie and the myth of the Cuban state of affairs. Then again, neither has the U.S. Congress in the last year done one thing about this except to try to cause harm to the forces of truth by blocking or canceling support for any who stand against the forces of burgeoning communism, narcoterrorism and Islamic extremists.
And while Hugo Chavez is busily communing with the very dead Simon Bolivar and pledges to exhume his body to prove how the evil Colombians killed his best friend Simon- thus bolstering Chavez's causa bella against Uribe- far better would it be for Chavez to instead of pushing cause of death regarding Bolivar but instead proof of life for Fidel Castro and proof that Chavez has ended his narcodemocracy with the FARC and Iran's mullahs.
The U.S. Congress is not doing enough to help build the efforts against Islamic extremism that still rips apart the Middle East. Like Uribe's positions to turn back the FARC in the Andes, the U.S. Congress refuses to credit Colombia's advances against narcoterror and has joined with political extremists who actually want narcoterrorists to expand and are "doing despicable things to ensure we lose this war." This cartoon is about extremists trying to end support for the war against terror:
As with this cartoon, INVESTORS BUSINESS DAILY runs another superb piece on Latin American necrophilia for Castro here. The piece notes, " After 49 years of ruling without an election, followed by a year and a half of terminal illness, this sounds more like the fluttering of circling vultures than any real effort to pass the baton to Cuba's next generation. The last thing in the world Castro wants is for Cuba to become a democracy. Let’s say here what's on many minds: Castro may already be dead. If he is, Cuban officials are probably hiding it as they jockey for position. Whoever put out the statement — making Castro look all magnanimous — probably realizes it's getting harder to hide a dead body as months go by. Meantime, the letter opens the door for a power grab by the next would-be dictator seeking to succeed him.
Castro hasn't been heard from except in communiques, and he hasn't had any visitors in months. The only person who claims to be in touch with him is his protégé, Venezuela's Hugo Chavez. Chavez’s desire to replace Castro as the region's Marxist beacon could accomplish what little else can: keeping Chavez quiet about his master until he can get the influence he wants in Cuba, too. Recall that when dead-Castro rumors spread last summer, Chavez was one of the first to insist they weren't true. But he was almost eulogistic. `For those who want him to die, they will get frustrated because Fidel Castro will never die,' Chavez told a crowd in Caracas in August. `He will always live in the people of Cuba, Venezuela and the Americas.' Sounds like Chavez spilling the beans.
Fast-forward to Tuesday, when Colombian President Alvaro Uribe curiously brought up Castro in the context of hostage negotiations. `If I were the FARC (narcoterrorists allied with Castro), I would think President Chavez is the successor of President Castro.' Why that succession would be brought up in the context of Colombia's bid to get hostages released suggests that Castro's passing may also be a factor. One thing's certain: Castro's death won't be announced until the Cuban government is good and ready, no matter how long it takes to consolidate power in the aftermath. That may be why Washington's only remark on the letter was that democracy was coming to Cuba soon, a promise the U.S. sees as inevitable as Castro's passing."
At ECrisis, we agree with this summation and then some. We note that if Rafael Correa or Hugo Chavez or Evo Morales had one honest/ one decent bone in their bodies, they would immediately break with the cult like promise to continue their lies and claims that Castro's deceptions are alive and well. Like the debauched fools that they are, they enjoy spreading more lies and deceptions because...it satisfies their innate commitments to continuing manipulating all that they can in the greater glory of Castro's communism.
As we have noted here for many months, the INCONVENIENT TRUTH about Chavez, Morales and Correa is that they will stop at nothing to manipulate global events for self enrichment under the fake theory that they are helping the poor when the "poor" are not helped at all by their dishonesty. Criminals and terrorists are helped by their dishonesty.
Earlier this week, Hugo Chavez said in Uruguay that Fidel was waiting for him. He also said he was off to Havana to be with Castro before the so called PetroCaribe meeting. How long will the free world put up with the lies and gamesmanship of these Castro wanna-bes? How long will Chavez continue to pretend that he is the great white hope, so to speak, of the world and offer up proof of life? With nothing honest coming from Chavez and his minions, Chavez is unaccountable and dishonest. What lunacy exists for anyone to actually pretend that Chavez, Castro and Correa are now honest men who deserve to be praised? We do not praise these dishonorable men and we do insist on proof of integrity and proof that life carries its own guarantees, which Correa and Chavez do not offer.
Consider Correa's new tax plan. It is illegally passed through the illegal constituent assembly which has no authority to do anything legitimate. Operating with a collective IQ of about 14, these so called elected assembly non representatives of anything but their Correa paid day job to appear as if they actually know something when they do not, are paid lots of money to be sequestered/locked down in Montecristi where no open media, no rapporteurs and no observers are permitted. Willingly this gaggle of over paid kangaroos rubber stamp anything that Correa-Chavez send their way. With no competency and no oversight, Correa manipulates these fools with a finesse not seen in a very long time...because Ecuadoreans let him and enable his manipulative march to communism. And still not one Ecuadorean makes a valid effort to turn away from the Chavez-Correa-Castro plan. Their inertia, fueled as it remains by sub denizens of manipulative persuasions, has cost Ecuador its future and its integrity. Like justice, honor delayed is honor denied.
Here is Castro's own propaganda reporting that Rafael Correa is crafting a new slush fund for his narcodemocracy bloc of nations using Ecuadoreans as his basis points for speculative trading.
Heralding this illegal and unaccountable speculative slush fund, we read, " The Ecuadorian government is designing a new financial structure, aimed at creating a liquidity fund that promotes the country's economic growth...Correa highlighted the idea is to create a most favorable monetary system, from savings to investment...The new monetary architecture taking shape will have an initial budget of 100 million dollars, Correa announced." This entire mess was boosted by Chavez's own Soros money man Joe Stiglitz who blessed the entire mess and furthered his claim that Ecuador's dollarization helped George Bush and therefore must be ended. The U.S. embassy is said to have appreciated Stiglitz's help in converting Correa's Ecuador in to an off the books derivatives trading fund for narcodemocracies. At ECrisis we wait for that "Embassy's" fact based analysis of their Stiglitz-Soros sponsored adventurism in Ecuador.
Castro's own media outlets praise Correa's new tax plan but little of the facts are also reported. Correa's new tax plan is only slightly a "tax reform" plan because what it really is....is an income redistribution plan. Here are Correa's paid propagandists inside Montecristi voting to craft Ecuador as a communist nation under Correa's income redistribution plan:
![]() Copyright 2007 EFE Todos los Derechos Reservados |
Highly overpaid illegal Marxist-communist kangaroos/puppets at Montecristi approving full income (poverty) redistribution called tax reform. |
Correa's so called tax reform is a fraud...while claiming to collect needed tax revenues, it also couches Correa's Marxist redistribution plan in a darkly opaque system where no citizen has redress rights, no right to counsel and no right to anything but misery. The U.S. embassy has yet to report one item on this horrific, sweeping end to freedom in Ecuador. Normative media is still barred from Correa's paid encampment in Montecristi. The U.S. government continues to pour monies into supporting this huge destruction of liberty in Ecuador viz its almost total support for so called NGO activists to enable the Correa-Chavez plan for Ecuador. Consider the U.S. Congressional budget plan for Colombia. Clearly, the U.S. Democrats staged a stand off with Colombia's anti FARC Uribe by with holding the appropriate passage of the US-Colombia FTA. This gave Senator Leahy and Chris Dodd's Tim Reiser the momentum he wanted to insert the funding advantage away from stopping the FARC to enabling the FARC under the massive funding give away to the Soros groups now preparing to invade Colombia even more. The key protagonist in this tawdry tale, the Soros backed CIP has the money break down here, courtesy of Leahy-Dodd-Reid's Tim Reiser, their Senate Appropriations man on the job. Currently, the CIP is also pushing hard for the so called humanitarian of the year Hugo Chavez to regain his FARC promotionals and remove Uribe's position of principled behavior. The CIP position is a disgrace and all U.S. Democrats should reject their foolishness.
Who runs U.S. foreign policy for Latin America? None other than Soros, Leahy, Reid, Dodd, Delahunt, Meeks and McGovern through their money man Reiser.
What we see is that U.S. funds are leveraging the Soros mission which coincidentally, some say, expands/leverages the Soros mission which leverages the Chavez anti-USA efforts. Is this a good thing?

The above right photo from Washington shows a few of the heavily infiltrated and influenced by Soros's money group of American members of Congress They also happen to be huge defenders of the Chavez-Correa-Morales-Castro Plan for a regional bloc of criminals. The Democrats also have acted swiftly to counter Plan Colombia by any means possible. In this- and other endeavors- these members promote the same propaganda promoted by the CIP team, mostly funded by Soros. We say that this Center for International Policy {CIP} is mostly backed by Soros because it is. We say that CIP is mostly anti Plan Colombia/pro narcoterrorism because it is. We say that CIP assists in funneling funds to the Soros welter of NGO paid activists in South America because it does. We say that its staff and Board of Directors are populated by past and current Soros project leaders because, like Nancy Pelosi's staff, it is. Soros also funds a parallel endeavor , as already reported here, which also supports blocking Plan Colombia support- also called helping the FARC- by the more overt pro Chavez and Soros-boosted groups under Dr. Joe Stiglitz and Mark Weisbrot which currently also works very closely with their lawyer and Correa lobbyist Paul Reichler also of IPS who has teamed up with Soros's pet PR team, Fenton Communications which also does hefty work to help not only Chavez but also Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, as well as impacting the entire Democratic political party of the USA.
Not once have any of the above mentioned efforts stood against the democracy ending Chavez-Castro sweep underway in the Andes. Indeed, the most one often hears is that the U.S. Democratic Party welcomes the Chavez minions. Consider Correa's new tax plan. It is illegally passed through the illegal constituent assembly which has no authority to do anything legitimate. Operating with a collective IQ of about 14, these so called elected assembly fools are paid lots of money to be sequestered/locked down in Montecristi where no open media, no rapporteurs and no observers are permitted. Willingly this gaggle of over paid kangaroos rubber stamp anything that Correa-Chavez send their way. With no competency and no oversight, Correa manipulates these fools with a finesse not seen in a very long time...because Ecuadoreans let him and enable his manipulative march to communism. And still not one Ecuadorean makes a valid effort to turn away from the Chavez-Correa-Castro plan to deceive. Their inertia, fueled as it remains by sub denizens of manipulative persuasions, has cost Ecuador its future and its integrity. Like justice, honor delayed is honor denied.

As for the rest of us, we know that the Castro-Chavez-Correa-Morales promise of fake democracy is a fraud. They call their communism the new MAGNA CARTA. We call it....dead on arrival and offer no excuses or life saving resuscitation for this unworthy scam on mankind. The Castro bloc called the new magna cartas are not honest and are not democratic and are not new. There is not one thing that is honest from the Castro-Correa-Chavez-Morales bloc...not their banking, not their economies, not their democracies, not their "proof of life," not their efforts to stop drug trafficking, crime, murder and violence and not their self enriching governments.
There remains no honest reporting in general from the Chavez-Cuban bloc of nations now. Most media is already infiltrated by governmental co ownership or threats of advertising termination or as in Venezuela, simply refusing to allow newspapers to obtain paper to print on. The media is not permitted to report in Montecristi but Castro's Prensa Latina and AL JAZERRA/Iranian News [also called TELESUR] do dutifully perform their media duties by spewing their fake news. This creates a sustained news brown out surrounding the Andes, broken only by Peru and Colombia, as long as their terrific and vibrant media lasts. As for the rest, we quote here from LATIN BUSINESS CHRONICLE some of the recent propaganda gaffes and lies of late:
"As president, Daniel Ortega will be the best friend the Nicaraguan private sector ever had."
Paul Reichler, international lawyer with Foley Hoag LLP and former advisor to Ortega, as quoted in Inter-American Dialogue's daily Latin America Advisor, November 8, 2006
"The same people that elected me, that elected Kirchner, that elected Daniel Ortega and that elected Evo Morales without doubt will elect you president of Venezuela."
Brazilian president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva tells Hugo Chavez during a visit to Caracas, quoted by AP, November 13, 2006
"Correa is going to be a friend, not a client of Chavez."
Michael Shifter of the Inter-American Dialogue, on Ecuador's president-elect Rafael Correa who won't need oil money from Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez, as quoted by The New York Times, November 28, 2006
"Chavez is not a dictator. But he's not a Thomas Jefferson, either."
Teodoro Petkoff, Venezuela's former planning minister and editor of Tal Cual newspaper, as quoted by The New York Times, December 5, 2006.
"The dollar has been a complete failure"
Rafael Correa, Ecuador's president, on the 2000 dollarization, as quoted by Bloomberg, April 3, 2007 "
Take a look again at these direct quotes. Here is Petkoff of Caracas- always misleading for all his hedge fund pals, to tell us that what we know to be so is not so. We all know that Chavez is a dictator. What we also know is that Petkoff speaks with duplicity and cannot be trusted. Here is Brazil's Lula in perhaps his most honest words yet that the same people who elected him have elected Chavez, the Kirchners, and the Morales-Correa team. And that would be....the confluence of the Fora de Sao Paulo communist-marxist/narcodemocracies plus Soros plus Chavez's open wallet. Here is Michael Shifter lying again that Correa is no client of Chavez's when we all know that Chavez's precise governmental minders run Correa's day to day operations. Indeed, Correa is no friend to Chavez but he is formally running a clientelistic nation now directly formed inside the Chavez bloc of narcodemocracies. Shifter should have correctly stated that Correa is not only embracing but has embraced Chavez, his money and his power grid. And here is Correa's lobbyist Reichler, who with Fenton Communications, continuously lies to the American public. Here is Reichler at the Shifter- US AID backed Inter American Dialogue [currently promoting Carterite John Maisto and George Soros and US AID's special form of alternative democracy in a black box funding award from Tom Shannon at the U.S. Department of State] to tell us that his old client Ortega will befriend Nicaragua's private sector. Also publicly noted is Reichler's "counsel" to the Center for International Policy [CIP] in Washington which backs Haiti's Aristide, promotes Joe Stiglitz and delivers co ordination activities for numerous Soros adventures such as the Joe Wilson-Valerie Plame attacks on the U.S. government. The pro Castro CIP is deeply funded by Soros, as we have said before. The CIP loathes Plan Colombia and President Bush. The CIP also promotes the FARC moll and first lady of the FARC in Venezuela- Piedad Cordoba and assists her role as FARC liaison, also called vain efforts to cover up the crimes of the FARC narcoterror cabal. The CIP has launched a special "Hands off Piedad" campaign to assist her from facing functional justice for her role in aiding and abetting narcoterrorists and for her special skills in enabling Chavez to maintain his current level of at least 7 known FARC terror training camps inside Venezuela. The CIP also supports the Soros-backed fundraising efforts to encourage Ron Paul's so called Republican Party campaign because the CIP is part of the anti-free trade, pro drugs/U.S. Democratic Party nexus under Soros as noted here.
This report here and here notes the Soros nexus again between CIP and IPS: "While Goodfellow has remained with CIP since the seventies, he has also maintained a relationship with the Institute for Policy Studies (IPS, a notorious Marxist-oriented think tank). Throughout its history CIP has lobbied for the weakening of the U.S. military through unilateral nuclear disarmament measures and opposition to vital weapons systems, constraining U.S. intelligence gathering capabilities, and appeasement of Marxist regimes around the globe. For decades, Latin America has been a major focus for Goodfellow. Through CIP, he has been trying to move Congress towards ending travel restrictions and the economic embargo against Castro's Cuba. Goodfellow and his associates have also worked tirelessly to end U.S. foreign and military aid to Colombia—a nation currently in a decades-long fight against brutal Communist narco-terrorists. Luckily for Goodfellow [who recently called U.S. Defense Secretary Gates a liar], his wife's work [ WASHINGTON POST's Dana Priest] has come in handy on occasion. In CIP's 2004 published report on Latin America, "Blurring the Lines," Dana Priest's work is cited to make the case against U.S. military involvement in the region.
But since 9/11, Latin America has taken a backseat to the Middle East, especially Iraq. In 2002, Goodfellow joined forces with Fenton Communications—a "progressive" PR firm whose client list includes CIP, IPS, moveon.org, the Heinz family foundation, the Ford Foundation, George Soros' Open Society Institute, and an assorted host of left-leaning environmental and "human rights" groups—to fight George Bush's "lies" and "rush to war."
With Fenton's help, CIP initiated the Iraq Policy Information Project (IPIP), a group of diplomats and academics opposed to the Bush administration's Iraq policy. Among IPIP's star speakers was former Ambassador Joseph Wilson, who became famous for writing a New York Times column attacking the rationale for the war in Iraq and whose wife, Valerie Plame, was exposed publicly as a CIA employee. It would turn out that Plame helped arrange her husband's mission to Africa, supposedly to investigate an Iraq-uranium link, resulting in the Times piece. Both would later surface as contributors to the Kerry campaign. (Recently, the newsletter containing photographs of Priest, Wilson and Goodman at a meeting was mysteriously removed from the CIP website.)
Why should Mr. Goodfellow's ideology and political action have anything to do with Priest? Perhaps we should ask her why she chose to appear in CIP's "Cowboy Diplomacy" congressional conference, a frontal attack on the Bush Administration's foreign policy, in October 2003. Ms. Priest shared a panel with CIP national security director Melvin Goodman, a vicious Bush administration critic who encourages CIA "whistleblowing." Another speaker at the conference was Wilson."
Not long ago, the CIP, claiming to be a key member in the Clinton-Soros-John Podesta community of "progressive" or "alternative" democracies, announced in the far left site COMMON DREAMS that CIP would run a pro Chavez center. "The Center for International Policy, the progressive foreign policy think tank in Washington, DC, has launched “Caracas Connect,” a blog exclusively devoted to dialogue about Venezuela and U.S. foreign policy toward Caracas and the southern hemisphere. “Caracas Connect” can be found on the internet here. “’Caracas Connect’ invites dialogue at a crucial time for U.S. relations with Latin America,” said Sarah Stephens, senior associate at The Center for International Policy. “As Washington moves to personalize its differences with President Hugo Chavez – just as it has done with President Castro in Cuba – the people of our country need to learn what is actually happening in Venezuela, good and bad, and debate what our policy needs to be, not just with Caracas but also with the entire Hemisphere.”
While seemingly posting some news stories, this CIP-Chavez effort shows that it only links to Chavez's efforts, specifically their pro Castro/pro Chavez Cuba Central , Center for International Policy , Venezuelan Embassy in US , Venezuela Information Office , US Embassy in Venezuela , Venezuela Analysis . It is not clear why the U.S. Embassy in Venezuela has not insisted that their name be removed from these pro Chavez/pro Castro efforts. Currently, Gregory Wilpert is featured on the Chavez-CIP-Soros-Fenton site as is this piece of oil for propaganda regarding America's Joe Kennedy -Chavez slightly reduced home heating oil scam in the Bronx... "This is a gift coming from the heart of the Venezuelan people to the heart of the American people," Granado [formerly of CITGO] told the crowd, some of whom held bright yellow, blue, and red Venezuelan flags handed out by Citgo staff. " We at ECrisis would like to know what these gullible folks in that New York City suburb have done with their flags from Chavez. Currently, all Chavez propaganda outlets are claiming that the USA's system of justice is a criminal fraud for its recent apprehension of Chavez's inner circle for death threats and extortion, as charged, in Florida.
Currently, "ambassador" Alvarez in Washington runs this denouncement of the USA and its criminal justice system, [which sounds as if it were written by Paul Reichler's staffers or his paid pals at Fenton] and its criminal justice system, "By analyzing the statements of police and judicial agents of the empire and comparing them to those of high level officials of the current government of the United States, it is evident to the international public opinion, the manner in which they are attempting to articulate a desperate political and judicial action in order to stop the advancement of the new sovereign, independent and dignified leaderships in Latin America and the Caribbean... The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela ratifies its rejection of this maneuver that the government of the United States of America pretends to disguise as the alleged Independence of their judicial branch and police agencies. As brutal as it may be, this political and media campaign will not be able to stop the process of consolidation of the new patriotic and democratic leaderships of the continent. Therefore, we call on the public opinion, the social and political leaderships in Latin America and the Caribbean and the world, to confront this absurd conspiracy with decision and firmness. The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela will execute, with the fraternal solidarity of the world, all the necessary legal and political actions to denounce this new attack of the decadent administration of George W. Bush against our homeland. "
We are sure that the CIP and IPS welter of propagandists under Fenton- heavily paid as they are today by Chavez, Soros and Correa, also repeat their false claims before the U.S. Congress that Correa is growing Ecuador's private sector and Correa's fake democracy too when this bald, naked lie is so easily exposed if any are diligent enough to cease reading Reichler's false claims about Ecuador and actually review the facts.
There is nothing honorable going on the Bolivarian bloc of lands previously known as Cuba, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Ecuador and Venezuela and now apparently Argentina, soon to be a media and military blockade. In fact, this mafia has commenced its conversion of previously known as semi solid democracies in to oil rich slush funds for narcodemocracies on the make. These are not governments, they are not legitimate and they are not honorable.
-Pedro Camargo for ECrisis
