December 28, 2007  Like a thief who comes in the middle of the night to steal, Rafael Correa's hand picked asambleistas have blindly and willfully performed their paid job in Montecristi to roll over, intellectually play dead like a dog, and with eyes wide shut ostensibly approve Ecuador's massive income redistribution plan from the Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro constitutional writing team.  As Castro's own media reports cheerfully, Correa's team, according to his PRENSA LATINA tales, is reported to "study" the Correa tax plan. With a collective IQ of about 14, these paid hacks in Montecristi, willfully devoid of personal educational backgrounds, incompetently utterly lacking in legislative skills, and completely unaware that comparative legal analysis is forbidden their ranks, are cheerfully doing their day job- highly paid by Chavez and Correa- to jump when they are told to jump and to look as if their have and hold gravitas and skills when they hold nothing but vapidity and irresponsibility.
 
This body of incompetents in Montecristi is nothing but a deceptive ploy to enshrine what Rafael Correa promised when he campaigned: a Cuban style Marxist economy under a Cuban style Marxist government. Correa has not once retreated from this promise although numerous liars want us to believe that he has when he has not.
 
The titular head of the gaggle of incompetent fools called the ASSEMBLY, is Alberto Acosta. Instead of allowing democracy's most visible partner in to the undemocratic assembly at Montecristi, Acosta took it upon himself to insist that all Ecuadorean media be denounced and barred from any coverage of the Montecristi democracy-ending midnight raids on our sensibilities. It is noteworthy that Castro's own media and Chavez's own Iranian and AL JAZEERA jointly owned TELESUR dutifully pretends that it is covering the glories of the communist enshrining, open media ending Montecristi and reads off anything handed to them by Chavez's Cuban agents of disinformation. This then has replaced open speech in Ecuador and is precisely why all Ecuadoreans should demand an end to the farce in Montecristi which never should have happened in the first place. With absolutely no basis in fact, Acosta screams that Ecuador's media is corrupt and must be barred. Ecuador's media is corrupt for not defending its gift to profit from free speech and not defend Ecuador's primary right to open speech but it is not corrupt for the reasons that Acosta and Correa claim. Besides, we all know that Correa is shuttering Ecuadorean media holdings to prepare a more perfect media monopoly for his business holdings under the Chavez media companies  called Iranian news and AL JAZEERA viz TELESUR. Today in Caracas, numerous sightings of Hezbollah backed threats are being levied against what remains of non-Iranian, non Chavez/non TELESUR businesses. Due to heavy death threats and extortion rackets, few turn states evidence, having no protection under law in any Chavez nation and no protection from Insulza's courts in Costa Rica. Insulza told us all that he would no nothing to defend any opposition members no matter how depraved the charges because democracy, he claims, can cover their crimes.

Comes now the Mayors of Ecuador who seemingly were angered that Correa's new tax plan forgot to include their cash cows for their own municipalities. To resolve this blatant omission, Correa meets with the Mayors after Christmas and immediately announces that he, Rafael Correa, in one sweeping dictatorial moment, would reinsert some cash for city budgets from the federal budget. Correa had unconstitutionally removed all federal funding streams for the cities and larger towns in a blaring effort to control and extort the leaders in the hustings. Correa revealed his black hand by not only never allowing any but his paid circus dogs inside Montecristi in his paid propaganda spree called an assembly but refused to consider the good of the whole in his unending Castro insertion plan. When the obvious could no longer be hidden, Correa simply decreed, as he always does, that he would "fix" the constituent assembly and re do their tax laws to include the mayors. Had this been a normal assembly, which it is not and a legal and transparent assembly- which it is not- Correa would have no role to change or alter the so called laws with the snap of his fingers, which he does do.
 
What we see are the facts: the so called Constituent Assembly is acting illegally, are paid performers to pretend they are seriously considering matters about which they have no knowledge and have no true advise or consent, and are profoundly paid off to pretend that what they do now is for the good of democracy when every single item delivered by this gaggle of incompetents legally enshrines communism inside Ecuador.
 
We can only hope that U.S. amb. Linda Jewell ceases her love affair of political foolishness with Rafael Correa and starts reporting the unvarnished- that is untainted by Soros's NGO groups and pro FARC sentimental hogwash as exists today by her politically sullied hands- and relays the facts that Rafael Correa is a liar, is grossly manipulative, is unaccountable for his criminality, is deceptive, and that the hidden away Asambleistas in Montecristi are swiftly changing Ecuador by their laws in to a replica of Castro's Cuba under the Chavez Bolivarian bloc of nations gone wilding to further the Russian monied mafias
 
What exists in Montecristi is a fraud. A sham. A fake body of paid thugs, fools and numerous Chavez party hacks who are unskilled, are illiterate by choice in comparative law, are not prepared, are irresponsible, remain under the Chavez directorship and constitutional writing plan of a hard line neo Marxist named Viciano Pastor, and are at heart dishonestly disinforming Ecuadoreans that democracy is alive in Montecristi when it is not. The only thing stirring in Montecristi is the spectre of CHE! as he leads his ridiculously dishonest children home...into the grave of all communists who enjoy deceiving their nation and themselves.
 
As we noted on December 15, 2007 at Venezuela's largest airport, massive numbers of CHE! tee shirt wearing paid Cuban intelligence agents, also called badly trained and unskilled medical missionaries from Cuba, landed in Venezuela. How many DISIP-backed agents litter Ecuador to further command and control lives?
How long will it take before Ecuadoreans insist that their lives must not be commanded and controlled by Hugo Chavez, Ahmadinejad of Iran, and Ecuador's Correa to perfect the Cuban lifestyle of the new Bolivarian bloc of nations?
 
We hold all involved as accountable. From this day forward, all are either with the communists or against them. Silence is not an option nor are the ridiculous entreaties, also called diplomacy that we must all lie a lot about Correa's activities in order to assist the U.S. Department of State in furthering its plans to relay a tainted analysis that Ecuador is a wonderful democracy when it is not. Selling out democracy is an ugly business and while Soros's own U.S. senators Dodd, Reid, Clinton and Obama may enjoy this by degrees of faint separation, their encouragement for the very agents of democracy's end are known and unbearable.

Inside Ecuador, all who refuse to act on principles are known for what they are and their acquiescence and complicity with their own state suicide is obvious.
 
What we deem correct is this: neither secular politics nor fake democracy building which is really decriminalizing/delegitimizing democracy activities in Ecuador are honest, honorable or supportable. Relinquishing self involvement and abandoning adult responsibility for one's own future has created the vacuum of purpose in Ecuador today which when coupled with cult like behaviors of religious leaders and shallow/hollow nuclear family teachings, Ecuador is ripe for communism because it presents nothing to ward off evil and nothing to defend its own. Ecuadoreans have abandoned Ecuador just as surely as Correa's own mother abandoned him and Ecuador...long ago.
 
Not all Ecuadoreans have anchor babies inside the USA to claim connectivity to flee Ecuador. Not all Ecuadoreans can launder FARC monies and call this "investor VISAS" inside Miami banks littering Brickell Avenue's canyons of complicity. Not all Ecuadoreans want to depart Ecuador because their capability to enjoy their inner compound lives behind high walls where life is paid badly to paid staff is well known as they have no competitive skills to survive outside their manipulated lives of unskilled living inside Ecuador.
 
And so it is that many stay inside Ecuador because they could never make it outside Ecuador, never mind that they never did one thing to build and sustain Ecuador anyway. These useless and utterly meaningless so called citizens still today blame everyone else for their own vanities, most noticeably the U.S. embassy in Quito which, while it deserves much blame for its deception and incompetence, is simply not the sole source of Ecuador's demise. Ecuadoreans who foolishly believed the U.S. embassy's foolishness and debauched plans for selling out Ecuador to the Chavez plan could have and should have commenced a truth telling campaign to right all grievances. This they did not do and as such are responsible themselves.
 
As for Mayor Nebot, he now claims that although he sold out to Hugo Chavez's ruinous plans for Ecuador long ago, foolishly agreeing to El Chiopo's pathetic dealings with badly trained U.S. embassy staffers that one and all must support Rafael Correa and never state the facts about the Chavez sweep across Ecuador because....as the embassy loons remanded...Correa, like Chavez and Castro and Morales are helping the poor...because Ecuadoreans would not help the poor and therefore must be removed. What is more true is that El Chiopo, instead of turning states' evidence about the criminal extortion underway by Correa's thugs who bribe and extort- threatening one's jobs and careers, sold out to the threats and bribes by the Correa-Chavez thugs and abandoned all moral principles in order to save, so he thinks, his governmental contracts. Like all Ecuadoreans, he was complicit in covering over governmental crimes. He, as so many, holds an obligation to turn evidence and stop the criminality so rampant in Ecuador. Extortion and bribery is still a crime however much there are no prosecutors, no judges and no laws left that Rafael Correa does not control today. El Chiopo is simply a symbol of what the majority of morally bankrupt, dishonest Ecuadoreans have done. 
 
While we at ECrisis have long decried the failure of Ecuadoreans to exhibit compassion, real time charity and refusal to engage in this world and of this time, it is simply a fake string of diplomatic gaffes by the USA to compel Ecuadoreans to lie and deceive to further Chavez's new Marxism. Ecuadoreans know that there is no Faustian Bargain left them. They have sold out in hundreds of small and large ways to this deceit and do now have few cards left to play. In other words, most all have already sold out to Correa-Chavez and have nothing left to manipulate.
 
What does a nation of manipulators do when they have run out of persons and actors to manipulate?
 
Oddly, many of our friends suggest that we all start acting like the French during World War II as the Vichy government pathetically and shamefully enabled Hitler's rape and murder of Europe. The French have never fully regained their moral compass and today are actively craven, as the French have come to reveal themselves. Morally unhinged, Sarkozy of France only seeks the release of a French-Colombo  national and has yet to consider the good of the whole hostage package as he vacations in Egypt with his arm candy girl friend at a luxury resort owned by the head of Abu Dabai in Luxor, Egypt. In fact, Sarko abandoned France for the lures of ignoring Christmas with the French for a very non Christmas with the Muslims and his latest arm candy. The French long ago abandoned the church but also the operative function of moral consistency, preferring instead the self serving, also called selfish, unholy moral relevancy so eschewed today. The French are left with being irrelevant and undependable in today's world except to self serve. No one alive today considers the French as anything but a nation of people who sold themselves out long ago. It is no coincidence that Sarkozy, like Correa and the Kirchners, takes some one else's money at the drop of a hat and gladly sells out to the highest bidder or donor or seller as the case may be. Ecuadoreans today are far worse than the French because Ecuadoreans have the benefit of hindsight and the readily available history of the French to analyze. We remind that it is morally depraved to replicate the ethically depraved Vichy government example of complicity with evil. Ecuadoreans really need to stop pretending that deals with the devil can also be manipulated for they cannot.
 
There is a better way.
 
Just as paid neo communist groups such as the Kirchneristas own piqueteros and the craven Chavez party hacks from the December 19th Neighborhood Front, the October Movement, and the Liberation Territorial Movement (MTL) protested against the USA outside their embassy in Argentina the day after Christmas, so too did Rafael Correa use his own paid para military foot servants, also called NGOs and union members to lead his own through the streets of Montecristi this week to cut off the right of redress and right to free speech of Ecuador's mayors. The day job holders who will walk for anything as long as they are paid either in cash or booze stood side by side with Correa against due process, free speech, open media, transparent and accountable government and income redistribution.

Perversely, Ecuadoreans fail to observe that Correa's Maginot Line of paid marchers is as fake as his fake government and easily remedied if any cared to do so, which they do not.
 
Here is the face of Chavez's paid day workers in Bolivia:

We have seen their faces before....in the Chavez cults in Caracas, in the Correa groups in Quito and Montecristi, and the Kichners' rabble rousers in Argentina.

In Bolivia, these paid foot soldiers are called the Confederation of Colonizers of Bolivia, the Single Confederation of Countryside Workers of Bolivia, the Regional Worker Confederation of El Alto, coca growers and other social organizations, among other names. We call them anarchists and liars. We also call them paid political day workers for the Chavez bloc of nations.
 
The faces that you do not see at all are the maimed, the murdered, the dying and the dead. All Chavez and Correa connected lands are overcome by their own incompetence and criminality whose end game remains the obvious inability to provide normative security and stability because they neither care enough to do so nor have the competence to do so. In fact, both Correa and Chavez are fully committed to criminality of the worst sort as engaged as they are with narcoterrorists and Hezbollah style terror groups. And worse...the faces you do never see are those who have been abandoned, left uncared for, as we rush out the door to our next selfish event of no consequence while childishly and selfishly pretending that there is nothing that we can do to help anything. This is the crudest sort of surrender and denial of hope because it carries the face of compassion and caring when it deceptively has none. Indeed, this mirrors Mayor Nebot of Guayaquil who wants to tell us that he stood strong against Correa to retain his city's right to national tax income and all the while failed, like Sarkozy, to consider the common good and to stand for the good of all. Virtue for the selfish is not virtue. Virtue for show only is not virtue and is as shallow as Sarkozy's Christmas mass for the French, which did never happen.
 
But the Chavez-Morales-Correa nexus wants to tell you that this is all the fault of the USA when it is not. Like a family member who decides to take a self serving vacation while a family member is dying, Ecuadoreans are abandoning their obligations to the dying nation and running away morally and physically. Like Bolivia where over 25 % have migrated to slave like jobs in Brazil and Argentina, Ecuadoreans have lost over 30% of the population to cross border refugee movements. Argentina and Brazil are cheerfully, like Spain, offering no legal protections to these new serfs and certainly no labor standards, competing as their sweat shops do with the Chinese for the worst human depravities. Some of the so called manufacturing jobs in the Southern Cone are in fact run Chinese style by the Chinese who hold a special style of labor management which is to say...no labor rights at all. Neither Correa nor Morales nor Lula nor the Kirchners mind one bit that their so called workers paradises are nothing more than recolonization and enslavement of over 30% of their people now. In fact, none from any Latin nation even protest this depraved human wave of misery. They are far too busy self enriching and pretending that their criminal gulags are not really gulags. Like the real face of the Andes which is soaring crime and forced labor in other lands of no return, we also note the rise and spread of disease carried by Bolivians, Venezuelans and Ecuadoreans now. This is not just limited to the disease of corruption which is epidemic now but its twin sister, born of poverty and neglect which are the physical manifestations of corrupt regimes: untreatable, deadly tuberculosis, cholera on a scale not seen in decades, HIV-AIDS and numerous transmittable diseases so insidious that societies cannot cope with the break down of the human body which mimics the break down of the body politic in these failed nations.
 
Disease of the body now mimics the disease of the governments and the diseases of the soul. Secular politics, like Brazilian sweatshops run by communists and Fora de Sao Paulo communists, are not honest and is never helpful except to the dishonest. For all their hatred of the USA, not one- not one Latin American leader in the Chavez-Castro bloc today lifts one selfish finger to actually help the poor and the weary. For all their seeming new found oil and gas wealth...and all their self enriching financial deals, still the poor are trapped in a worsening gyre of despair, crime and rampant pestilence unseen for decades.
 
Like walking out on a dying family member because we have other selfish interests, Latin politicians have walked out on their dying nations and abandoned their people to incompetence, greed, crime, deceit and disease.
 
However ardent the Chavez-Cuban-Correa-Morales fake laws are now, this bloc of unholy actors have legitimized the illegitimate and decriminalized crime, making a mockery of democracy and repulsing rule of law. What always happens as societies die of their own malfeasance is the death of the innocents by disease. It is a costly by product of incompetence and criminal escapades. Of course these unaccountable nations refuse to report this and export their misery and unwanted diseases globally now, pretending that the first and second tier nations should babysit their cast offs whom they have abandoned in every sense. Like Castro's exportations of diseased and criminally deranged Cubans to the USA, behind this is a cynicism that functional states must take care of what the dysfunctional was too lazy and too incompetent to perform.
 
It is offensive for so called elected leaders to expand their main export today which is dysfunctional statism and its by products of disease and anarchy to other nations. And frankly, it is about time to turn off this pipeline of crime and disease and hold the perps- the real perps named Castro, Chavez, Correa and Morales- with Ortega and the Kirchners now-accountable for the crimes and suffering they inflict on their own people. We know that over 30 % of their entire populations have fled, carrying disease and living in unsanitary and hopeless conditions. Contrary to Joe Stiglitz's pro Marx political propaganda masquerading as economic theories, globalization did not do this to these people. Exporting depravity's offspring called disease epidemics and corrupted persons are the only known items that Chavez's bloc of nations export now. Certainly nothing of value comes from Ecuador, Venezuela or Bolivia these days- only deceit, disease and self loathing dysfunction. These are not welcome exports.

ECrisis has also patently urged one and all to reject as the whole truth all political propaganda and refuse the non religious life of secular living however many short cuts may appear for the lazy. True morality is never retained on the cheap nor found outside of the hard work of living a moral life. When whole nations are called immoral as is the case of Venezuela, Bolivia and Ecuador, it behooves these nations to restore some moralities.

ECrisis adds this...that to abandon our sick and dying because they are inconvenient and might cut in to our selfishness, is indicative of our wholesale national disgrace of selfishness. Our excuse that it is all too much to cope with while leaving real living to the hollow serenity of paid day workers is an abandonment of meaningful living.

Nations, like all humans, require attention and care giving. Nations can never be abandoned per se simply because we find that the requirements of citizenship is all “too much" and that it erodes our time in front of the TV screen.

Like a dying family member, our nations die now because we let them. With no effort save the passive aggressive dysfunction that there are no specialists to restore health of the person or a nation, we further the manipulative dysfunction as it cowardly corrodes life's values.

Ecuador is dying now. Having abandoned Ecuador to the unpleasant future of a slow but sure death, self imprisoned as it is, there is no paid day worker who will restore its functionality and return it to health... Ecuador is functionally almost dead now. In fact, it is mostly dead. Ecuador does not think for it self and allows others like Chavez's paid governmental guides to think for it because Ecuadoreans did not want to perform the troubling problem of thinking or living. The Chavez and Correa goons do our living for us and hold our being quite cheap today. Soon, Chavez and the manipulators will do the dying for us, too.
 
ECrisis strongly commends those who stand for the living and who defend liberty. When nations refuse to support liberty over death, when their choice is a selfish abandonment of life's values, epidemics always expose the faults in their system. We hope you chose life and we hope your coming year will be disease free and Correa-Chavez-free. But as we abandon so many others, we know well that we too will be abandoned by the selfish. And in death as in life, our grave markers will read.....Here this person lived and here this person died, in life and in death doing nothing meaningful.

Have you teamed with international media to tell the facts about Ecuador's demise? Have you worked with your neighbors to rebuild democracy's promise or....did you pretend that abandoning hope would save your region?
 
We remind that as with all cowards, when Hezbollah and its kissing cousin the FARC comes knocking at the oh too clever Correa's door for some perceived slight, as they always do, Correa will be the first to abandon Ecuadoreans in flight. And where would our brave but debauched leader go to flee from the long arm of the Russian mafias and Hezbollah? No doubt to his Mama's back yard...inside the USA. Or ....maybe not. As a neophyte state sponsor of terror, Correa may find his ease now inside Iran's proxy state called Syria or perhaps Hezbollah's money laundered Lebanon or with his Russian-backed business partners in Iran where no doubt he will be well come. Or not. What we do know is that having abandoned Ecuador already, Correa will not be the last standing to defend her.
