Great Beginnings for Ecuadoreans: Viva Ecuador Libre!

January 25, 2008   It was a step in the right direction: being honest and stepping out to remind Ecuadoreans that Correa's special Cuban communism and life lived under the watchful eye of Chavez's DISIP agents is not healthy for human beings. With just under 1/2 million in Guayaquil yesterday and a scattered few thousand in Quito it was a day to stand united and be proud.

Tragically, some local GRANMA inspired media calls this another march of the oligarchs. As if.

Here is what Guayaquil looked like on 1-24-08:

Here Quito against Correa:

We are also commending today Secretary Rice and her assistant Tom Shannon and the entire delegation standing with Alvaro Uribe to promote liberty and security. This is praiseworthy and long, long overdue. Now if they would just get rid of the double talking teams they will leave behind who will hastily undo the good they do today in Medellin. This is far from over. Do any seriously think that U.S. Congressman Alcee Hastings [D-Florida] will abandon his career skimming U.S. labor unions and Soros backers? Somehow it seems unlikely but the Pauline example for redemption also remains hopefully. And as such, is a small hope remaining for freedom lovers in Ecuador to turn away from Correa-Castro-Chavez crime, corruption and communism before it is too late.

Ecuadoreans would do well to study the excuses for teaming with the FARC made this week before the OAS by the OAS ambassador from Venezuela, read it here. Note that before the OAS, this rube fully ignores the fact that Chavez's own team conspires formally with the FARC, as so stated by Chavez and that Chavez has done nothing to stop the seven plus known FARC training-for-terror camps inside Venezuela for fun, and profit. Venezuela's claims to fighting drug trafficking are weak indeed even as Venezuela is known today for what it is: a state sponsor of terror. The U.S. ambassador to the OAS responded accurately and commendably, even though still tepid on the harsh facts on the table, review it here

What we do know is that the pro drugs work by the global so called NGOs who sell us this deafening double speak about narcotics is hard at work across the USA, across the Andes and this week at Davos. As the funder in chief for all "policy" to encourage narcotics spread, it is impossible not to factor in the effects created by George Soros, not just in his paid lies about the War in Iraq but also his paid lies about President Bush and the war on drugs. Soros's paid foot soldiers are beginning to sound exactly as if they have been scripting Chavez's ridiculous claims about the FARC.

Separated at Birth???

               =
                     Chavez + FARC                                                       Soros

Tom Shannon's team has listed George Soros as an approved NGO with the U.S. Department of State. Take a long hard look at that face of Soros and you will see that which has commandeered much of what is loosely called "U.S. diplomacy" in the Andes today. That face also commandeers what is called the U.S. Democratic Party and definitely controls the Clintons and Barack Obama. Soros wants back in the White House and today is using his Trojan Horses of deception to promote Barack Obama who is under Soros's lock and key unless and until he gives him back his money and rejects his politics, which will not happen this year. Soros has made his moves across State Department, the OAS and US AID as well as 1/2 of the U.S. Congress to legitimize that which is illegitimate. As a man of honesty, he falls into the category of contract fraud for his misuse of U.S. contractor funds. His influence is massive and his integrity non existent. The OAS's Insulza still calls him a "statesman" and we are sure this defines Insulza's deeply compromised vision of diplomacy. Like doing business with Rafael Correa or Fidel Castro or Hugo Chavez, doing business with Soros is a Faustian bargain with few survivors.

Here is the pro drugs Soros champion of drug abusing fools, called Chávez, showing his credentials as a drug user and FARC business partmer:

As Tom Shannon, January 23, 2008 in an Advance Briefing of the Secretary’s [ Rice] Trip to Colombia by Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs Thomas A. Shannon and Assistant Secretary of State for Economic, Energy, and Business Affairs Daniel Sullivan,  stated this week about the Andes, "And as I mentioned, you know,  we are kind of working with partners in the region to build economic and commercial networks and networks of political cooperation that consolidate and make concrete our common political values -- democracy, respect for human rights, open societies -- and make concrete a common understanding of what generates economic opportunity and prosperity."

When Shannon states that the U.S. Department of State is "kind of working" toward democracy in the Andes, he is patently honest and tragically self revealing.

There is nothing really working by the USA there- all is simply sort of/kind of working because it is entirely dysfunction ally non working, torn in half by liars who are on the USA payroll. With kind of nothing of value being done by these U.S. paid contractors and "diplomats" from US AID and State Department of any consequence or value in Ecuador, Bolivia and Venezuela to promote U.S. commercial ties or democracy or networks of political cooperation, unless of course Shannon means boosting anti-USA politics, which his people do handsomely and creating harm to U.S. businesses which his people do daily, all to benefit the Chavez-Delahunt political schemes and the Soros business scams. If Tom Shannon was serious, other than helping US TR rebuild what their own paid anti-trade, pro FARC actors have done to harm free trade, he would insure that his own team speak with one mind and one heart for the betterment of the region and the USA, to whom he owes his allegiance. More to the point, do any seriously believe that U.S. Congressman Alcee Hastings and the rest have the guts to stand up to Delahunt, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama Reid, Pelosi, McGovern...Fenton Communications and about 1/2 of the bought and sold U.S. Democrats all of who enjoy the largesse of the Soros monies and at times Chavez monies and say, por que no te callas?

Rather than coddle the neo communists in the Andes as is current U.S. foreign policy- sometimes called abandonment of principles- and pretend that Chavez's communism is just all right with the USA, as U.S. ambassador Jewell in Quito inexplicably keeps telling us, far better for Shannon to insist for once that the facts be on the table, not the half baked, kind of facts so papering storage closets everywhere performed by "kind of Americans" or "kind of democracy advocates" who run the show in the Andes today by dint of their U.S. monies.

These schlubbs neither advocate for democracy, free trade nor honest dialogue. In fact they lobby internally for the Soros-U.S. Democrat agenda which is not democracy and it is not legitimate. Far better for Shannon to reign in his goofy casts of characters in his Andean staff- most of whom are liars, ninnyhammers, dimwits and dunces who "kind of serve" but mostly....take their overpaid monies and serve nothing much at all from a cost-benefit performance rating. In fact, they hurt by perpetuating the lie that doing nothing is helpful while they aid and abet the anti freedom voices and enthuse about the mounds of lies. Lying must never replace diplomacy. Every time we hear someone tell us that diplomacy, which is a high art and is respectable, must replace any other agendas, we know that this means....surrender, abandonment of principles and more propaganda to avoid progress by today's current crop of diplomacy actors. We groan. We laugh. We weep when we hear this because of its farcical theatrical performance in the Andes today, outside of Uribe's firm example as a truth teller. Indeed, the rest suffer deteriorating popularity because they are not honest and are not honorable. It is a lesson worth learning.

In fact, we denounce all fools who defend, promote and illegally do `business' with the Three Stooges of the Iranian apocalypse:

freedom lovers in Guayaquil, 1-24-08 denouncing communism's stooges

For two years now, Ecuadoreans have learned not to trust the U.S. Embassy in Quito which is in partnership with the Correa regime which is utterly debauched, unaccountable, dishonest and corrupted. They have seen how U.S. businesses were treated with no support in the face of billions of dollars in state theft. They have seen the U.S. ambassador pretend that state thefts in the billions from Americans are just all right with her. They have seen U.S. embassy cretins tell them that the USA wants Correa to succeed because he will destroy the oligarchy and toss out the rich to help the poor. They know that the poor keep getting poorer under Correa's ignorant power plan to insert Cuban controls across Ecuador. They know that a U.S. diplomat ranked inner circle player walked out the door from the U.S. Embassy a few weeks ago and crossed the street basically and was sworn in as Cabinet rank for Correa's cabal. They know, as we know, that this U.S. diplomat was working for Correa all along and that this treason by a U.S. diplomat would be hidden. They have had the door slammed in their face because they do not subscribe to this Soros world view that we must all abandon our principles and disregard our ethics to install the Soros plan for a government legitimizing all that is illegitimate. Ridiculously, Ecuadoreans are so stupidly easy to manipulate and lazy that they fail themselves to realize that U.S. ambassador Jewell does not represent the U.S. government nor is she honestly representing U.S. foreign policy. But because no one oversees her professionally vacated staff, she gets away with this insertion of the Soros backed NGOs who run the embassy. It is a tragedy but Ecuadoreans have yet to request her removal for supporting the end to Ecuador's democracy and as such, now have only themselves to blame. If Ecuadoreans want U.S. support, they have to get up and ask for it- not from the Sorosites running that Embassy but find significant Americans who are committed to freedoms. It is not easy but they can be found outside of Soros and the U.S. Democrats' own Fenton Communications, Paul Reichler and Ivonne Baki with whom Jewell so cheerfully coordinates to assist in lying to the U.S. Congress for pro Chavez, pro Correa propaganda. If Ecuador wants its democracy back, they will have to do the real work of stating the facts and overcome the disinformation campaigners. If they want to live free, they will have to act on this. Or else live with this:

Instead of joining the pro Chavez communist handlers running Correa's government, because he surely does not, all Americans should be applauding the new steps toward returning Ecuador to democracy as seen in this week's marches. Instead of supporting the Correa regime to lie some more to Washington and the world, the U.S. embassy should be encouraging freedom lovers, not their "sort of" players who "sort of" work and who most definitely create more harm than good for their goofy "sort of" positions on ethics, honor, democracy and freedom. "Sort of" being honest is not being honest...it is being manipulative. Ecuadoreans are overcome with their own very obvious brand of manipulative addictions and are best served not with more "sort of" integrity but the real thing- real integrity. This will set them free. U.S. ambassador Jewell can help by restoring integrity to her own approach...not this "kind of/sort of" integrity which is debasing and dishonest. That will help Ecuador.
We say...Viva Ecuador Libre!!!!!!!

In complete agreement with Armando Barreiro, the NYT and other MSM outlets did not publish anything about this --sometimes I wonder if they even know where Ecuador is-- an I only found out about this march via this blog. I only hope that the people of Ecuador continue to come out in full force for freedom and against the desgobierno currently installed.

As always, Pedro, congratulations to you and the others who blog at ecrisis. You are doing an amazing job keeping tabs on what Correa is doing to your beautiful country.

My continued support and most sincere greetings from DC,

    Kate
