March 15, 2008    Pay attention here: Rafael Correa, el jefe magnifico del Ecuador, with all the debasing/reputation ending behavior of a spoiled little tyrant, screams at George Walker Bush of the USA. Correa stamps his little feet, he throws his little fist up in the air, and pledges that he will never ever be friends with the USA because....the USA just does not understand the Ecuadorean mindset. The USA just does not understand how difficult it is to be...in bed with the FARC and making money off of Hugo Chavez. Correa defends his right to be a criminal- and like his drug running father, a bad one at that. For his part, Rafael Correa wants you to know that this outburst of his vile, nasty and abusive temper is what he calls diplomacy and what he calls rational behavior. Rafael Correa is embarrassing. He is not an adult and he is not a legitimately elected democratic president. He is a state sponsor of terror and he is a criminal jerk.
 
As we mentioned yesterday, were Correa serious, he would act inside the framework of rule of law. By this, we do not mean the deceptively fake idea of rule of law eschewed by our favorite cocktail party goer Sra Kirchner of Argentina who would not know- nor respect- rule of law if it hit her on the head. Tragically rule of law of course has been removed by the liars called Ecuadoreans who have no use for rule of law or truth in reporting or truth in anything else.  Correa is not a serious president: he is a badly educated young man handed too much power and abuses too many courtesies which he of course debases. No one who knows him really likes him except for a scant few true believers who really do not like themselves much either. Oddly, Ecuadoreans praise Correa for standing against Uribe and the evil USA to give Ecuadoreans their right to commit state suicide by aligning with the FARC in their new narco state under one Marxist dictator named Rafael. These Ecuadoreans are killing themselves and fooling their own families by deception. Ecuadoreans do not need, although it has so done, the USA to declare them persona non grata: Ecuadoreans by being lazy fools have done this to themselves because they care nothing about today or tomorrow, only how much they can manipulate each other. For this sovereign right to deceive, they will fight to defend the indefensible. Here is Correa screeching at President Bush and telling him what to do. This is not a dialogue and it is not respectful and it is not statesmanlike and it is not honest:

Correa has just exposed himself- as surely as he exposed himself in the many cheesy hotel rooms north of Quito about a year ago- as a criminal and very childish and very problematic screecher. Screeching is what manipulative and unhappy people do: they yell. They throw tantrums. They use their voices in decibels above screaming...they screech. They abuse people around them and create unhappy, unsettled, manipulative atmospheres all around them. They call this normal. We call it psychologically aberrant. It is also manipulative and dishonest.
 
Here is Correa desperately trying to boost his credibility through a two week series of PR movements, from Chile to the hapless, well posed children of the jungles [not more than 7 % of Ecuador's total population are indigenous] who have got no clue what Correa has done to their nation: or much else but they do provide good photos in their hastily made outfits paid for....by Correa:

Dressing up these poor jungle kids in jungle outfits to make a fake PR show for Correa is reprehensible. Correa seriously has no intention of any adult dialogue with the president of the USA. Long ago, he made this very clear. He does however enjoy screeching at Bush, as if he would listen to such childish tirades from such a selfish, spoiled little boy who is clearly in need of serious jail time.
 
Were Correa serious about anything, he would have long ago acted seriously and with integrity. But Rafael Correa has no intention of being serious, nor in growing global respect, nor acting as an adult. He has told us this. Rafael Correa just last September in New York, during UN week, informed a breathless media that he held no commitment whatsoever to fighting crime or money laundering in Ecuador and in fact would do nothing about it. This lawless domestic policy of Rafael Correa's has born real fruit: Ecuador is the regional crime capitol where murder rates soar and nothing is honest.
 
Ecuadoreans seem confused about their little Boy Wonder Correa. Then again, the U.S. Democrats call him worthy of U.S. tax dollar expenditures when he is nothing more than a criminal cartel leader, which the U.S. Democrats seem to consider commendable. Ecuadoreans think he is fantastic to destroy their lives, manipulate their futures and destroy what freedoms they previously held. This is praiseworthy they believe because, as the U.S. Embassy staffers in Quito explain- it must be done to destroy the evil oligarchy [itself long gone thanks to the 1998-99 banking crisis which stripped Ecuadoreans of their savings and bank accounts] and to help the poor.
 
Rafael Correa has neither helped the "poor" nor has he helped Ecuador at all. He has exposed himself as a fraud and has delivered Ecuador in to a special category as a failed state of remarkably incompetent, lawless, corrupt players. Now Correa proclaims ` you just don't understand what it is like.' This is a phrase used often by criminals since the world began. We hope that Correa keeps it up: he is showing himself for what he is and what he is ...is Mr. Needs to Be Gone.
 
Today, to be a friend to the Correa government means to be a friend to manipulative liars, screechers, the FARC and the criminal wunderlust promised by Hugo Chavez who is so debased as a leader that instead of governing with an even hand, he feels the need to prop up his own inadequacies with massive weaponry to prove his manhood, which today does not exist. Rafael Correa, who is fully beholden to Hugo Chavez and his psychoses, agrees although Correa will always be Correa- a committed communist-Marxist because he has always been thus, with or without Chavez. The distinction is that Chavez is a committed low level, semi Marxist fascist badly educated military man whereas Correa is more like a sociopath who abuses his standing as a total Marxist dictator to exhibit his own behaviors as a vain limousine liberal on cocaine with all the attendant symptoms of self adulation, dishonesty, theft, bodily jerks, irrational behaviors, violent temper tantrums and cowardice. Chavez fears that his military will not completely obey any command to kill innocent Venezuelans. Correa knows well that his military is fully corrupted now and will do anything he asks, including lying and protecting the FARC. Correa also knows that his overpaid, badly educated ASSEMBLISTAS in his new shrine to the FARC, once called Montecristi, will also do anything he asks- as they have already done. Fools lie to us and tell us that they can help the ASSEMBLISTAS make progress toward law and order. This is a fools errand on a ship of fools which has no chance of success.
 
The reason that Correa succeeds as such and the reason he was elected is that Ecuadoreans actually believe that lying, manipulative, shallow, vain and uneducated belief systems are normal. Ecuadoreans believe that it is their special unique lot in life to be manipulated and lied to and abused. Ecuadoreans today neither have nor hold any respect for functioning government or functioning life styles with any integrity. They just find spirituality in shopping malls. Ecuadoreans believe that hollow, empty lives where no respect, no kindnesses go unpunished. Ecuadoreans actually think that their screeching manipulative living is healthy and wholesome when it is not.
 
No one alive today cares anything about Ecuador's fate because Ecuadoreans abandoned their commitment to freedom and integrity some years ago. There is nothing and no one honorable from this woebegone land of fools run by teen agers.
 
Next week, the Minister of Foreign Affairs from Ecuador, jokingly called the Minister of FARC Tourism by the Spanish media, will follow in Piedad Cordoba's well trod and well funded steps to lie some more to the U.S. government and the US AID befuddled masses, sometimes called U.S. Democratic Party supporters to enable Hugo Chavez and Rafael Correa's criminal adventurism. While the U.S. Democrats will aid and abet the government of Ecuador to promote the idealized state of lunacy, also called legitimizing that which should never be legitimized, these selfish adolescent legalizes running Ecuador will try to put an adult face on their own foolishness. It will not work. Merely replacing porn queens with Sr. Larreategui's now divorced spouse as foreign minister will not work.
 
Pay attention here: while Ecuador's media has sold out to Correa and Chavez, the Spanish media has soared in regional respect and readership. By selling out one's integrity, the market place eventually catches up with the liars and manipulators who are about as useful as an old communist Russia made Zill car rolling down the highway. There are no cosmetic surgeries to repair these defunct and badly made state engines of depravity and there is no way to manipulate their way out of their own misery, both inside Carondelet and inside every Ecuadorean home.
 
And for this one might hope that Ecuadoreans feel shame. Shame that their own dictator is such a liar and shame that in their own homes, lies and manipulative behaviors call each one every day to maintain the shamefulness that their public face is a deception. Ecuadoreans believe that they can substitute dishonest living for honest living. They also believe that they can buy the media and buy more propagandists and liars to cover over their own shallow and criminal life styles.
 
Like Correa, this national past time is exposed. It is shameful and it is a national disgrace. Again we ask: who among the Ecuadoreans are welcome anywhere except in the Chavez promoting parlors and cheesy world of the U.S. Democrats who cannot quite be honest about where they take their money from either?
Ecuadoreans have nothing to defend because they sold out long ago to their own addictions to manipulative living. Who welcomes this? Who wants this? Is this is useful export? No, it is not.
 
Is Correa welcome anywhere that sane, adults gather? No he is not. Correa is in fact shunned everywhere except the U.S. Embassy in Quito or the Soros-backed drug legalizing limousines or the Hugo Chavez shrine to narcolepsy, sometimes on the identical propaganda team up. Correa is no doubt welcome in Iran and Caracas and....Zimbabwe and North Korea. Rafael Correa is a card carrying member of the Fidel Castro Club of liars, manipulators and teen age gang members who runs his government precisely as far too many women run their homes in Ecuador: by screeching, by demanding and by complaining all the time. There is no respect for this panoply of perversions and no future for any of it. This is a hollow, shallow national disgrace where nothing is serious and no one tells or acts on the truth.
 
In other words, Correa gets away with his criminality because Ecuadoreans think this is normal. Correa is not normal and the base line behaviors to pretend that life in Ecuador is normal is a lie, too. It is time - past time- for all Ecuadoreans to stop lying to the public and lying to themselves and end this national tragedy of manipulators.
 
We have said it before: Correa replicates a teen age princeling, worshipped by dishonest Mamas in Ecuador who has been handed the family car and has gone for a reckless joy ride with criminals, perverts, terrorists and thieves. Ecuador's mothers seriously believe that as long as they can cover this up and never promote adult, responsible behaviors that their adored princelings will continue to justify their lazy, dishonest reigns. Just lie some more and pretend that Correa and his kind will go away. We say: take away the keys to the family car from Correa. He is a wreckless criminal. His screeching tantrums are the real Correa. He is exposed for what he is and what he is...is a criminal, a thief, a communist Marxist dictator who has removed democracy, rule of law and free speech. The mothers of Ecuador should be ashamed that their little offspring himself has turned out to be abusive, manipulative and deceitful. They taught him well and enabled him to this point. Time for adults to take away the keys to his engine before he hurts more innocents.
 
Today Correa is so busy covering up his own criminality that he has no clue and no plan to lead Ecuador, not that he ever did. Correa is of course incompetent. But Correa does have a commitment to the Sr. Viciano Pastor assembly front to pretend that these wise persons in Ciudad del Alfarista....Correa's shrine to the Shining Path and the FARC- will successfully manipulate Ecuadoreans in to a new narcodemocracy this may under the Correa-Chavez-Soros constitution to legalize all that should never be legalized.
 
The problem with all this is that criminal cartels never satisfy. While Castro and the FARC may have survived as massive oozing carbuncles of crime, one must seriously ask how worthwhile their journey? Always hiding, always lying, always manipulating and always creating harm to others by their own manipulations and lies/ Why do people put up with this when there is a better way- a way that is more free, more rewarding and more satisfying? It is called self reliance, adult responsibility and the rules of ethical living. While we should shun those who take on the trappings of selfishness, we should encourage honesty in our own neighborhoods, our own homes and our own governments. Noticeably urgent comes now the claims that Venezuelans will need help- massive help- rebuilding their completely defunct, debauched and demoralized nation where lawlessness and crime have run amuck. Help they explain comes with a price tag.
 
We remind our Venezuelan friends that the help they seek is available in their own homes, in their own back yard. So too is the same to be said for Ecuadoreans: clean up your own backyard first before demanding "help" from other people's taxes, sometimes wrongly claimed by Ecuadoreans as their due payments from the evil USA as if they deserve this when they do not. We suggest: stand for something meaningful first instead of looking like Venezuelans who only want to complain and go shopping to justify their lives.
 
Today Ecuadoreans look to the world like persons trapped inside a failed marriage.
No longer able to blame anyone else but themselves, their self loathing is debilitating. Moreover, their foolish incapacity to stand up for themselves is repulsive as self-aggrandizing sociopathic thugs like Correa and Chavez continue to walk through the empty hallways of their souls, because we let them.

Echoing recent sworn testimony about Correa and Chavez before the U.S. Congress to claim....we never knew that Correa and Chavez were so, well, criminally involved with the FARC, this article notes about now-gone governor Elliott Spitzer of New York this tendency to be in denial, which also aids and abets, as "The New York Times professes utter amazement at the revelation about Spitzer, as if it came out of nowhere, like space aliens landing in the middle of Central Park. `You never know,' sighs this middle-aged naïf. 
 
Well, of course you knew. Like Spitzer who was well known as an overarching, self absorbed scion of a shopping mall developer, the author continues, "...to create the illusion of his own supreme importance, in his professional life he achieved this illusion by abusing the power of the state, acting as a bully who threatened to "steamroller" over other people's lives and careers. He did everything he could, in short, to bully the rest of the world into a solicitous state of submission--the state of terrorized subjects groveling before a tyrannical emperor. A man like this is usually considered to have an ego that is too big, but the opposite is actually true. This kind of bullying is proof that Spitzer was so insecure he needed to prop up his faltering ego by forcing others to cringe in fear before him."
 
And while marching others off to prison or out of office at the point of a gun, or threats thereto, to remove his own insecurities and feed his own sense of self worth, power derived by dishonesty and manipulation is not power but crude criminal fascism which destroys what little integrity still resides in the co-addict family of enablers, ruins whole families and destroys governments. The author completes this analysis: "Eliot Spitzer is a timeless example of the basic conundrum of government: the fact that anyone who really wants to wield power is, by that very fact, the last person who should be allowed to do so. I call this the Washington Conundrum, named after George Washington--who is arguably the first man in history to demonstrate the solution: the only person who can safely be allowed to wield power is someone who seeks it out of dedication to the cause of liberty.

But take away the love of liberty--and the ideological framework of individual rights that supports it--and we return to the squalid pattern of most of human history: power not only corrupts, but attracts, rewards, and promotes the most corrupt types of human character. Without the love of liberty and the principles of liberty, we don't get George Washington’s in public office. Instead, we get the Emperor's Club VIPs--self-aggrandizing thugs like Eliot Spitzer."  Sound familiar? It is. It is a pattern and it is called Ecuadoreans today- from border to border.

To this we add...self aggrandizing thugs like Rafael Correa, Hugo Chavez and a whole new generation of manipulative liars, criminals and political scam artists calling themselves populists. True lovers of liberty are not squalid but rather seek to assist out of functional generosity, not cynicism nor manipulation. They are known by the company they keep. And while on this subject, do you seriously think that Chile would strip itself of 2/3 of its GDP in trade with the USA for the tender mercies of the abusive and disgusting Rafael Correa who showed how immature he really is during his PR end run in Chile last week? Who would you chose? Trade with Correa- who rips up contracts on a whim or the USA which pays its bills?
 
Miguel Perez writes compellingly here regarding the fake border war of March 2008 to try to distract the world from the FARC's total support by Venezuela and Ecuador. Perez reports, "Correa implied that Uribe is a liar. Uribe implied that Correa is a communist. `How difficult it is to believe one who …' Correa said as Uribe interrupted.
`Don't apply to me the cynicism of those who feel nostalgia for communism,' Uribe told Correa. Uribe charged that Correa's presidential campaign was backed by the Colombian guerrillas. `Don't come (to us) with fallacies; don't come with cynicism,' Correa told Uribe later. `It's not your neighbors who are responsible for your problems; it's you. It's Colombia, and we are the victims, not the victimizers. … Your insolence is doing more harm to the Ecuadorian people than your murderous bombs.' "
 
As you can read, Rafael Correa tried to blame his own domestic problems in Ecuador- his own jumping in to bed with Chavez, Iran and the FARC- on the "insolence" of Alvaro Uribe, who is among many things actually quite shy and humble in many ways.  Rafael Correa is a communist sympathizer and is working as hard as he can to make Ecuador a Marxist state. He is a FARC man and a Chavez man, by taking their money and promoting their cause against the cause of liberty.

Ecuadoreans tell us that it is complicated to tell the truth any more in Ecuador. "Complicated" is what cynical men like New York's now retired governor Elliot Spitzer say about their hidden mistresses and marriages of convenience to keep up the false face that their lives are meaningful when they are not. The truth is never that complicated: only excuses and manipulations are complicated. Mrs. Spitzer thought it was a very great idea for her husband to lie about his double life to keep power in New York, but not the power of an honest relationship. Somehow we find both Spitzers disrespectful on one thing: honor- honor for each other and honor for the world at large. The Spitzers marriage was over long, long ago. They owed it to themselves to either repair their non marriage or reject the marriage in name only relationship they held that served nothing in the end except greed and deception. Like the Spitzers' fake marriage...or more to the point, like Saddam Hussein's fake government in Iraq for his cartel criminal allies before 2002, Ecuador should learn these lessons well.

Truthtellers know one thing: Venezuela is heading toward its own Oil for Food designation under the United Nations because it is a criminal state and sponsors terrorism. Chavez's regime is so corrupt that is cannot take care of its own. Ecuador is next. Time to bring in the adults because clearly the teen agers in Ecuador, with their "nostalgia for communism" are badly, sadly incompetent boobs acting like they are in a criminal cartel, which they are.  Most Ecuadoreans surrender when someone screeches at them. Adults in the real world reject this manipulative adolescent behavior and never surrender their ethics. Correa is cornered by the exposure of his own crimes: he is screeching at Bush to hide his criminality and try to manipulate his own people. Ecuadoreans can learn to reject the manipulative and live free.
 
Meanwhile, so called ANALYSTS falsely pave the road for more manipulative thinking across Ecuador to tell us that Uribe is evil because there is no definition of the FARC under UN Resolution 1373 and thus it is a glorious adventure to continue to operate inside criminal cartels. To these shallow analysts of foolish, cynical Ecuadorean sensibilities, they may yet choose to review UN Resolutions # 1540 and 1566 which followed. But Ecuadoreans prefer to argue vainly that their own uneducated analysts are correct and that anti-criminality is never part of the modern world. Ecuadoreans only want to manipulate and then screech. And then pretend that there is nothing that they can do about their lives lived under manipulative screechers. To this we say: rubbish. It is just rubbish to pretend that law and order is a waste of time, that the truth does not matter and that Rafael Correa is winning the war of manipulation- which Ecuadoreans call diplomacy. The facts do not in any way back this up. Neither Chavez nor Correa delivered effective damage control: they continue to expose their complicity with the FARC and Iran. Moreover, the false lines that the global media will not long remain interested in the story of the criminality of Correa and Chavez with the FARC is a lie: the adult world/the real world takes very seriously the criminal synchronization of these cartels and will take necessary steps which Ecuadoreans cannot seem to even take themselves.

Moreover, these morons of malfeasance tell us that maybe- just maybe- the USA might suffer some distancing from Chavez and Correa. Might? And that worse than Chavez and Correa's alliances with Iran and the FARC are their deteriorating economic pictures. We remind that their finances dwindle because they engage in criminal unaccountable open wallets for their political ambitions and deliver no sane, sensible governance.  They are so busy manipulating- and covering this up- that they forgot what is essential in life and government.
We would not want to lay any speculative bets with these Andean speculators...they have lost every lie they are holding. At some point, humans simply get tired of being manipulated and find it repulsive and irresponsible.
Ecuador has it within its hands the capacity to look today just like Ireland: vibrant, healthy- alive and vital. Ecuador prefers to remain miserably manipulated: mentally, spiritually and psychically dead. Ecuadoreans say all the time that there is nothing they can do about this because...that is how it must be. This is not true and has destroyed a whole nation by its own choice. This May will see the national approval of its own endgame: a pathetic socialist-Marxist manifesto, sometimes called a new constitution, to legalize all that should not be legalized. We can only hope that long before this time, some will stand up and say NO MAS. There will be no more freedoms under the Correa-Castro-Chavez Plan for Ecuador. Besides, Chavez is on his way out.
