Ecuador and Venezuela are Manipulative State Sponsors of Terror: U.S. Sorosites Call them Friends, Allies and Business Partners; We Call them Need-to-be-Gone

March 25, 2008  Comes now U.S. Senator Hutchison to weigh in on the latest "revelations"- that is, the facts, that Hugo Chavez and Rafael Correa are state sponsors of terror. Unless and until all parties are honest about this, there is no diplomacy and no progress on turning back the march of terrorism and its allies- criminal cartels.

Hutchison is correct to note, "There seems to be no limit to Mr. Chavez's reckless and anti-American ambitions." Why is this simple statement unheard of in the halls of the OAS and many Andean lands? And why is it so important that the facts- with full transparency- are stubbornly with us, however unpleasant it may become that Ecuadoreans revere the dark and manipulative and hate the truth? She is also correct to note that the OAS is feckless and she begins to appear to note too that the OAS has absolutely no interest in building a Latin America which stands on principles. Neither, it seems does Ecuador which today is still addicted to crime and manipulation of themselves- afraid to stand for the facts and afraid to look at the mess that Correa has made while busily converting Ecuador in to a narcostate.

Hutchison is admirably candid to write, "Of course, there is something more important at stake than oil — namely, reducing the danger of terrorism. Mr. Chavez has made common cause with Iran, the world's largest state sponsor of terrorism. Mr. Chavez is one of the few leaders to publicly support Iran's nuclear weapons program, and the Iranian mullahs have rewarded Mr. Chavez's friendship with lucrative contracts, including the transfer of Iranian professionals and technologies to Venezuela. “But she falls short when she forgets to add that Iran's global banking network is laundering its dirty money through Venezuela and Ecuador. In fact, she fails to include Ecuador- fully partnered with Chavez now- in its total conversion to a narcostate. Senator Hutchison should amend her position to be more fulsome. If Venezuela is the oil money to fuel the FARC in its crime spree, Ecuador is the transit zone, the money laundering and safe haven zone for the FARC and all its vermin. It is impossibly naive to not combine the two halves of this whole, however much we all prefer to pretend that Ecuador is not fully far more advanced in rampant criminality than Venezuela in this high stakes game of deteriorating statehood.
As we move ahead in analysis of the Raul Reyes command post materiel, the Wall Street Journal today presents important confirmations of what we have been noting about the Correa-Chavez criminal support for the FARC. Indeed, the article, while incredibly important. falls a bit short to not note just who pays for their pro FARC actors, who from the U.S. Embassy in Quito aided and abetted their pro FARC strategy acts and their go-between efforts to build with the Correa regime a new narcostate in Ecuador. Here is a welcome break in the current news brown out about the USA's role by the Democratic Party, also called the party which supports and encourages the FARC and non performing drug policies in encouraging the growth of the FARC command center in Ecuador:

A FARC Fan's Notes
March 25, 2008; Page A22

A hard drive recovered from the computer of a killed Colombian guerrilla has offered more insights into the opposition of House Democrats to the U.S.-Colombia Free Trade Agreement.

A military strike three weeks ago killed Raúl Reyes, No. 2 in command of the FARC, Colombia's most notorious terrorist group. The Reyes hard drive reveals an ardent effort to do business directly with the FARC by Congressman James McGovern (D., Mass.), a leading opponent of the free-trade deal. Mr. McGovern has been working with an American go-between, who has been offering the rebels help in undermining Colombia's elected and popular government.

Mr. McGovern's press office says the Congressman is merely working at the behest of families whose relatives are held as FARC kidnap hostages. However, his go-between's letters reveal more than routine intervention. The intervenor with the FARC is James C. Jones, who the Congressman's office says is a "development expert and a former consultant to the United Nations." Accounts of Mr. Jones's exchanges with the FARC appeared in Colombia's Semana magazine on March 15. This Mr. Jones should not be confused with the former Congressman and ambassador to Mexico of the same name from Oklahoma.

"Receive my warm greetings, as always, from Washington," Mr. Jones began in a letter to the rebels last fall. "The big news is that I spoke for several hours with the Democratic Congressman James McGovern. In the meeting we had the opportunity to exchange some ideas that will be, I believe, of interest to the FARC-EP [popular army]."

Mr. Jones added that "a fundamental problem is that the FARC does not have, strategically, a spokesman that can communicate directly with persons of influence in my country like Mr. McGovern." Semana reports that in the documents Mr. Jones "rules himself out as the spokesman but offers himself as a 'bridge' of communication between the FARC and the congressman." Semana says when it spoke with Mr. Jones, he verified the letter and explained that "he made the offer because the guerrillas need interlocutors if they want to achieve peace and that it is a mistake to isolate them."

But communications among FARC rebels suggest the goal was to isolate Colombia's government. A letter that Reyes wrote to top FARC commander Manuel Marulanda on October 26 reads: "According to [Jones's] viewpoint, [President Álvaro] Uribe is increasingly discredited in the U.S. . . He believes that the safe haven [for the rebels] in the counties can be had for reasons mentioned. Congressional Democrats have invited him to Washington to talk about the Colombian crisis in which the principal theme is the swap."

Semana reports that Mr. Jones made some proposals to the FARC, including a Caracas meeting with representatives of Venezuela, Colombia, the FARC, other South American countries, U.S. Congressmen and the Catholic Church. "It would be almost impossible for Uribe to reject such a meeting," Mr. Jones wrote, "without burning himself a lot, nationally and internationally. If he persists in being against it, I have understood that there are ways to pressure him from my country [the U.S.]."

In a letter to Semana, Mr. Jones said his words were taken out of context. He says he is not in favor of the "violent methods of the guerrilla" or "the military solutions" of the government. He had only a professional relationship with the FARC and had to address them as he did because he had to build trust. Mr. McGovern's office says it knew what Mr. Jones was doing and engaged with him because "we need to find an interlocutor who could discuss these things including the safe haven" for the guerrillas.

We think the documents reveal something else entirely: Some Democrats oppose the Colombia trade deal because they sympathize more with FARC's terrorists than with a U.S. antiterror ally."

Today we know that if any truth tellers from Ecuador spoke frankly to Senator Hutchison, they would be murdered or worse- tossed away in to the dark nights of Correa's prisons which are today living hells. We know that their businesses would be cancelled and their families either mysteriously murdered or missing with no end in sight. We do not however sanction the unwillingness of Ecuadoreans to expose, denounce and de-fang this bestial and oppressive manipulative cartel which does now control their lives.

What we know is that a pattern has been active for many years now. This series of acts is revealed by the pro FARC communications with the WOLA-Congressman McGovern-Soros types. It reveals that nothing and no one would be assisted by the US team in Ecuador unless approved by the pro FARC team from the likes of the Senator Dodd group of anti USA efforts. truth tellers have long felt the door slammed in their faces by the USA, since about 2005. Truth tellers in the Andes- outside of Uribe's team- know well that there is no help- no help at all for truthtelling from the USA unless one plays the manipulating game of the SOROS-NED-OAS-US AID cabal which is not truth telling at all.  This is the only crisis in the Andes today: it is a crisis of integrity, born of possibly good intentions run amuck, but amuck it is to the always sure end game that integrity's offspring is a bastard. And illegitimacy is its name and legalizing crime is its game.

The problem with Ecuadoreans today is their unwillingness to stand their ground and pledge their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to defending their homes from the state take over by Correa for converting Ecuador in to a socialist-communist narcostate. All are afraid and none step forward to state their truths. In the end, with no unity backed by each man and woman, with no support to reinstate democracy and with all honor sold out to manipulative statism, there is no honor for any Ecuadorean today.

Yes- we hear their complaints: they are afraid of the Chavez-Correa-Cuban intelligence systems which overlord their lives and intrude on their sanctity of privacy. Yes we hear their complaints that Correa is a dictator. We hear them blame the U.S.A. for funding the pro Chavez and pro FARC propaganda and legalizing of communism mechanisms for Correa, foolishly calling this democracy and governance support. We hear them blame everything and anything, perversely even as Correa blames the USA for his own problems.

It comes to this: there is no one left to blame but our own persons. Yes- it is disgusting what the USA is supporting in Ecuador. Yes- Correa is a criminal dictator. Yes- we allow this because we think it is morally correct to manipulate human events when it is not. One is left hanging. Ecuadoreans look for a new leader and find none. This is not surprising because all leadership is today restricted by the overarching ethos that Ecuadoreans must do nothing and never be honest in order to survive. This is of course at the heart of the problem: dishonest, irresponsible ethics of unending machinations which enables criminal empires such as Rafael Correa's sociopathic regime to prevail.

We find that U.S. Senator Hutchison has more integrity in her little toe than Rafael Correa and all his adolescent tirades and manipulative propaganda. Were Correa to repeat the facts as Hutchison has laid out- and actually believe the logic- life in Ecuador would be very different. But Correa is willfully abnegating/voiding all truth telling in order to install a more perfect narcostate in Ecuador which is a union of all imperfections or a nation of inconvenient untruths which Ecuadoreans call a democracy in name only. This is a lie- there is no democracy in Ecuador and to pretend that it is a robust, growing nation under God for the good of all is to debase the very notion of growing "under God." Liberty and integrity are mocked under these circumstances when one and all pretend that their union is perfect when it is a failed, unholy union. Correa is not building a more perfect democracy but a more perfect union with Iran, Venezuela and Cuba. Integrity flows from telling the truth. In fact, Ecuadoreans today are making a mockery of honor and in so doing, a mockery of their own irresponsible lives. They tell us that there is nothing that they can do about this: they are each trapped inside inoperable structures with no way out.

Hutchison also writes, " Last year, Mr. Chavez and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad revealed plans for a $2 billion joint fund, part of which will be used as a "mechanism for liberation" against U.S. allies. Now there is evidence Mr. Chavez actively supports FARC as part of a strategy to destabilize the Colombian government, which is one of America's best friends in the region. There seems to be no limit to Mr. Chavez's reckless and anti-American ambitions." We add- there is no limit to Chavez because criminals...and each of us...make common cause with the Chavez pathology that crime is the best employee. Hutchison is quite restrained in her analysis of the Iranian-Cuban-Ecuadorean-Venezuelan axis of evil. We all know that it is far deeper than this- it has embedded its ethos of non-integrity in living standards across all social strata because we let it. We know too that Iran considers Venezuela and Ecuador its full partners in crime, just as Iran eyes greedily its goal of a proxy state in Iraq to control a vast chunk of the world's mineral resources.

While Ecuadoreans are still pretending that President George "Bush lied- people died" as some recycled MOVEON.org refrain and a very debauched excuse for covering over their own complicity with actors of evil, promoted by the flawed actors paid for through the U.S. Embassy in Quito and numerous anti USA efforts from US AID, the rest of the world has indeed come to its senses and grasped the concept that the USA's Bush did not lie and that the world is far better off with Iraq's regime of Saddam Hussein's terrorism removed in some ways. But evil is active now- because we let it grow.

Today Correa claims that he is a responsible adult, fully vested with the power of knowledge and wisdom to lead Ecuador in this place and in this time. We completely disagree. Correa is stuck in an unending life as a teen ager- never mature and never responsible. Correa is a sociopath who manipulates everything around him by refusing to grow up and be responsible for his acts. Ecuadoreans today are taught that this is a useful life goal: we reject this ethic and view this not only as retarding law and order but functionally retarding any societal and economic growth that Ecuador could have and hold. While Correa is irresponsibly draining the glass as fast as he can, he could instead be responsibly growing Ecuador to a self supporting, integrated society but he prefers instead to remain addicted to making excuses for his non-performing pathology.

Colombians fear the return to their nation of this same socio-political model. Historically, Colombians have had their manipulators, their enablers and their criminal cartels and do not want to return to the days when their leaders were in league with the drug cartels, were busily legalizing drugs, were pedophiles, were money launderers, were tearing down the fabric of their lives. Colombians have lived lives of enabling drug cartels. Colombians used to be known as some of the globe's worst perpetrators of manipulative thinking and activities across the 1980s and 1990s. Today, only the USA's Soros-backed do drugs groups, the labor unions and U.S. Democratic Party seek to return Colombians to their past performance of confused, debauched and manipulative criminals. Colombians do not want this and are standing united for a better way. Colombians today are justifiably proud that their own selfishness and criminal sociopathology has turned around toward a growing integrated society. While Ecuador has deteriorated from an almost functional society to an utterly dysfunctional society, Colombia has risen from its own ashes and functions quite admirably today. Matters do not function at all in Ecuador today and all are fearful, nervous and suffering their own self inflicted psychosis which feeds its emotional self destruction...because we let it.

Ecuador was on this pathway to progress about 15 years ago. Today it has enabled itself to turn away from growth toward the unending debilitations of corrupt and manipulative living. The OAS praises this and calls it "alternative democracy" which is just another word for reverences for cartels and government by protection rackets. Ecuador is a criminal cartel in every sense. Ecuador is the world's murder capitol. Ecuador is a massive money laundering center for Iran, the FARC and Chavez. Ecuador has nothing and no one to believe in because Ecuadoreans do not want to believe in themselves or anything, except their haste to believe in nothing meaningful.

The Catholic Church in Ecuador today calls for, in main, a full submission to the Correa communist-style cartel of crime. This is a blatant abnegation of the Church's current teaching and while the Vatican is busy leading its path toward reconciliation, Ecuador is leading itself down the path of manipulation and a full embrace by the Church in Quito toward debasing anti-Christian state communism and lives lived in crime and not in Christ. Ecuadoreans need to get up and walk out on these homilies of manipulative untruths, as few did, on their Easter services when priest after priest called the faithful to submit to the new cartel of communism in Quito. We believe that the local church is wrong in this. This is not some new wave of Liberation Theology but is a criminal assuaging and promoting of unending debauchery. But Quitenos failed themselves to get up and walk out from their services, preferring their own addiction to for-show-only-religion on the cheap- religion for show/religion in name only. Many feel that as long as one is kneeling in these holy places, that one is living a morally correct plan. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Catholic Church in Ecuador, like the U.S. diplomatic corps in Quito, has gone wilding and has abandoned what they came to do. Both need to be called home for instructions, particularly at this time when nothing is bettered by the unhelpful assistance and enabling for Correa's crime spree, currently stamping his little feet, waving his little fists in the air- as he has done all his life- and demanding that it is his "sovereign right" to bring Ecuador fully in to a narco state under his sole dictatorial powers. We remind: this is not normal, this is not legitimate and this is not to be aided and abetted.

Correa falsely calls for "peace." Correa wants peace- the peace to enshrine Ecuador as a criminal cartel state with all state functions serving as criminal protection rackets. This is not peace and it is not acceptable. There is no peace in a place where everyone is manipulating everyone else. There is no progress in such a place because the primary goal is the unending manipulation and never the business of living lives in tranquil assurance that stability can be had. Manipulators want no peace- they thrive off of creating more and more demands and more and more machinations to self preserve their right to control one and all by their deceptions and manipulations. This is Correa's life plan and it is not to be born. Correa needs therapy but foremost, he needs to depart. And take his FARC-backed thugs with him.

Correa claims today that the USA has intervened in Ecuador to remove global terrorists. Correa calls this a double standard. Correa is utterly debased in his thinking as he reveals his complicity in all matters of governance. Correa is a double standard- not the USA. One cannot love the right and love evil at the same time. Ecuadoreans think that it is their right to be dazed and confused about crime, crime which is costing them their livelihood and robs them of a future. But Correa has set about to install the legitimization of crime in Ecuador- he has told us so.

While the US Department of State is busy trying to determine how complicit its own contractors are who concurrently also work for Barack Obama's elections while running State Department's Passport security systems- itself today a criminal effort by their former CIA operative contractor- instead State Department should be reviewing how many U.S. employees in Quito are enabling the expansion of the FARC cartel across Ecuador. Tens of millions of U.S. tax dollars are spent in what they call democracy and governance programs. While there is no democracy in Ecuador and there is no development in Ecuador and there is no governance in Ecuador, these tens of millions of annual USA dollars are fraudulently spent to liars, ninnyhammers, dimwits and dunces to lie to the US government and its people. These so called contractors are quite adept at forging US governmental documents and not reporting the facts from Quito. These groups provide safe haven for the legalizing of all that is illegal in Ecuador as if this is some higher goal when it is not. Congressmen McGovern, Pelosi, Engle and Delahunt- and all their pro Chavez and pro FARC legalizing monies and actors think so too. We call this sedition against law and order. State Department should be calling its own to order before the U.S. Attorney General is called to do so and before the likes of Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison has her way...with the truth and the facts.

While today all who eschew the Congressman McGovern acts in complicity with the FARC, with Chavez and with Correa to harm the USA and the Andes tell us that McGovern is "brokering the peace" and is aiding conflict resolution, we reject this lie. There is no peace with terrorists and there is nothing to negotiate with hard criminals. Colombia has established a legitimate and transparent system for calling out the FARC and that system is the only one that should be permitted: not these rogue Sorosites who go against law and and meander across the jungles of criminality. McGovern has no authority to go against Uribe's valid FARC deprogramming efforts. Uribe has professionals to deal with the FARC- McGovern only has snaky Soros-backed pro drugs lobbyists and Chavez propagandists.

It is time to stand with Uribe- not against him. It is also time to aid and abet Uribe by denouncing the state sponsors of terror and their friends, also called traitors to justice.
