Correa Denounces the USA as Having No Rule of Law, While Correa Installs Lawlessness

March 31, 2008  Of all the ridiculous historic details, the current lie that Rafael Correa of Ecuador must have his new constitution next September to appease his anger/calm him down/ help him to be quiet/assist in reducing his adolescent angry tirades/make him feel better/assist his massively selfish manipulation routine is almost more than we can take. It reveals the lengths previously known as sensible folks will go to shut up the manipulator, the little princeling, the selfish tyrant, the screeching tin pot dictator of nothing, the incessant demands of the undereducated to force their self importance on an undereducated public, the unending enabling of the ready foot soldiers of the enabling and the complicity of the local media to help take Correa's advertising millions for their denial of honest speech. Many businesses do this too. It is called bribery and protection rackets. It is also called behaving like children of adult alcoholics- surrendering common sense to the incessant demands of the petty tyrant whose own sociopathology is always at the center of the situations.

Here is Correa practicing his diplomacy- that is stamping his little feet and screeching like the spoiled rotten little princeling he is:

This last week saw some wonderful speakers- and some not so wonderful or shall we say....relatively useless and empty suits....at the www.libertatd.org.ar conference in Argentina. It is a good effort always and everywhere to bring together freedom lovers. Only two from Ecuador were deemed worthy of their pay-to-participate presence. But at least former president of Ecuador, Hurtado, is not afraid- not afraid at all- to speak the truth about Rafael Correa's criminal regime even though he has very very few facts at all and is basically isolated/self-removed from global freedom lovers except at such events like Vargas Llosa's in Argentina last week. Hurtado has no following and no support from global freedom lovers because he holds no interest in this, preferring as most all Ecuadoreans do- to continue to fail under their mistaken and foolishly naive belief that nothing really matters outside of Quito. This of course robs Ecuadoreans not only of vital informational access, relegating them to the IQ status found in Montecristi of a sum total of about 14 but easy prey for propagandists who have cut them off from the world so as to manipulate them more easily. Ecuadoreans are complicit in their own foolishness because they are lazy and prefer to be stupid, which means they do not have to do anything or lead meaningful lives because the state will do it for them.

At the conference, Bolivia's Quiroga tells us all that any hand over of anything to the OAS is a hand over to Chavez for Chavez has now 19 out of 34 OAS [ we think the real number is between 31 and 33] delegates in his pocket, including Insulza. A stacked deck by design. Which is of course precisely WHY the pro FARC and pro Chavez strategy to demand the OAS take over of the criminal events caused by the very criminal FARC on 3-1-08 were rapidly handed by U.S. Democrats over to the OAS for "political" solutions of the Chavez-Correa state sponsorship of terror and will continue by plan to prevent criminal prosecution of the pro FARC Chavez and Correa.

Much as we admire about 2/3 of the speakers at the Libertad event, it is also true that we do not admire numerous former admirables for they have fallen. In fact, the only ones worth listening to, much as we truly think a good 6 are definitely worth listening to, were topped by Bolivia's Quiroga. He alone spoke truth to power.
We find the conference's while helpful support for liberty failing in a key essential which is that polite politics and free trade alone will never, ever turn away the criminal mindset or the sociopathic liar, as is the case for the FARC, Chavez and Correa...who do now control over 1/2 of the mindset and voting bloc of the OAS and are consolidating their hold on Latin America by bribery and chicanery in order to form a more perfect narcostate in the hemisphere.

In a brilliant piece today from THE WALL STREET JOURNAL, Mary Anastasia O'Grady dissects the massive Argentina's tax and spend statism of the new mindset overcoming South America which bodes no good for anyone. Serious students of Latin policies will discover carbon copies of the Kirchner-Chavez-Correa governmental policies, in this instance led by the Kirchners for a nation which used to be one of the global leaders and is today careening toward an almost deadening neo socialism where all quality of life indicators are crashing. And still the blame game remains stubbornly rooted in ginning up more hate campaigns for their incessantly manipulative political campaign of hatred called "hating oligarchs." It is easy to hate what are typically called oligarchs: the middle and upper middle classes in general across Latin America are typically vapid, selfish, manipulative, deceptive and offer not one thing toward community building in any sense. But their vacuousness and worthless lives are not the sole determinant of quality if life for selfish souls live freely worldwide and are general known for what they are: long forgotten and ridiculously incompetent boobs. But the active sweep of hatred- a real paid political campaign today as it has been in the USA- is undermining a growing sense of right and wrong and destroying what little tools exist to rebuild and sustain societies.

Were America's Ben Franklin alive today to quip that these lands have been given a Republic....if they can keep it, he would honestly note that Latin democracies were never ever functional democracies and always more like semi reformed caudillo states with scant few republican structures. This is not hard to keep because it is not much at all and is certainly not a body of common law any more but more of a self loathing string of societies under a series of tax regimes which alone benefits the governmental cartels and nanny states while discouraging vibrant work ethics.

O'Grady writes, extracted here, of Argentina today, "Violence broke out in Buenos Aires last week when demonstrators protesting food shortages and inflation were set upon by stick-wielding supporters of President Cristina Kirchner. The attackers were led by a sworn enemy of the private sector who was once an official in former President Nestor Kirchner's government.

"The only thing that motivates me," Luis D'elía said, after his assault on a protestor was caught on camera and his actions were justified by Mrs. Kirchner's chief of cabinet, "is hatred against the whorish oligarchs." He then announced that he and his men would patrol the city streets to defend their view that the country's producers are immoral. National police, who answer to the president, did nothing to quell the violence...the Kirchners have won the support of that segment of the Argentine economy loyal to the principles of 20th-century fascist Juan Peron. These include labor militants, government bureaucrats, the Peronist political machine and the likes of Mr. D'elía, whose thugs act as Mrs. Kirchner's informal enforcers. But by generating inflation and provoking shortages Kirchneromics is also fueling widespread discontent....Claims that the government's new "retention" rates -- aka export taxes -- are close to an expropriation are not without merit...Mrs. Kirchner says the tax increase is a redistribution mechanism, suggesting that growers and ranchers have to be forced to share more of their good fortune with others. But the greater motivation behind the export-tax increase is inflation.

While making farmers furious and reducing the incentive to produce, this does nothing to address the causes of the inflation, which are monetary expansion and the failure of the economy to attract investment and expand productive capacity. A strong peso and a commitment from the government to respect private property are what's needed to confront rising prices.

Kirchner power does not lie in a rational economic model. The first couple's idea of running an economy is to tax, prohibit, regulate, subsidize and otherwise micromanage every aspect of Argentine life so that no decision can be made without checking first with them. They are, at bottom, unreconstructed authoritarians.

If you doubt this, consider the fact that Mr. Kirchner spent the past five years dismantling institutional checks and balances so that when this moment came, all the power would be in the presidential palace. He and his wife now control the judiciary, the legislature, the central bank, the national police and discretionary spending in the provinces. The only avenue left open to express dissent is civil disobedience.

As we saw last week, that path may be closing down too since the Kirchners now have their own military on the streets of Buenos Aires, led by Mr. D'elía. The anger and envy behind the rage of this mob is what kirchnerismo has sown since 2002. Those who dare to differ are likely to be met with more savagery."

Sound familiar yet? If you are honest you will agree that this mirrors Ecuador, Venezuela, Bolivia and soon Nicaragua. While Sra. Kirchner has all the gravitas of a silicone injection, she appears always ready for the next cocktail party. Indeed, her very notion of governance is to engage in cocktail party diplomacy, preferring as she does to always be ready for the next cocktail party. She appears in public constantly dressed for the next cocktail- as if serious leadership must only be served by soul less and vapid cocktail chatter. She has true role models for this habit as her entire mileau reminds her that only cocktail party chatter is relevant in today's world. To be sure, parties have their place but in this, Kirchner as with far too many Latins have substituted the false for the real and it gets them in to a failed state zone where no one wants to hear their comments because there is nothing timely or vibrant from their lazy and inept mind set other than their increasing commitment to even more manipulation, more politics of hatred, more blaming the other and nothing whatsoever of credible life performances. It is a deteriorating circle which carries these vain Peronists or Chavistas or neo Marxists downward in a spiral of their own selfish and irresponsible lives of manipulation which they call politics and we call the incompetent politics of hatred.

The Kirchners, like Chavez and Correa, have stripped their nations of democratic values and functions and replaced them with lives lived under goon squads and moral mandates signifying zero.

Argentineans know that the corrupt Kirchners are heading toward tax regimes upwards of between 72 to 90% tax composites as is Rafael Correa of Ecuador. There are no courts and no police to protect any now. The difference is that some Argentineans said that they have had enough and they braved the state paid anti-freedom foot soldiers of corruption. In Ecuador, no one braves anything much any more except the travails of finding their TV channel changer. Ecuadoreans call this surrender of personal integrity....appeasement of manipulators and surrender to fearfulness. They are wrong. We call it surrender and abandonment of principles. Psychoses and the politics of hatred and fearfulness breeds abandonment of right thinking and meaningful action.
Freedom exists solely because each citizen cares enough to pledge their lives and their sacred honor to defend the blessings of freedom- not their self delusional lives of vapidity and errant propaganda.

Or as O'Grady notes, those who dare to think....are met with more state savagery. If this is what you truly seek, it is yours to have and hold today in Ecuador: more savagery and more state controls over your lives. We think this is repulsive and we remind that each of us by doing nothing but abandoning our commitments to lives lived under self imprisoning lock and key of manipulative mind sets create our own islands of psychoses which are not easily remedied. Just ask the Argentineans how easy it is to shake off the Kirchners and find some scrap of accountability as all careen off the cliffs of insanity to the point where nothing is honest or accountable and all is set under the fake klieg lights of a silly cocktail chatter, replacing all seriousness at a time when serious problems beset and besiege.

The MIAMI HERALD today reveals its own pro U.S. Democratic Party bias and its own laziness by failing to do actual reporting on the global sweep of the well entrenched global criminal cartels such as the FARC. The HERALD sources two well known pro-drugs Soros so called NGOs such as the EURASIA group whose opinions are never fact based and always in service as foot soldiers to the Politics of Hatred and anti USA propaganda. In a pathetic effort to dismiss the gravity of the FARC criminality, the HERALD uses Adam Isaacson to ridiculously tell us that the FARC and their supporters do not matter much because they are mostly young idealists. This is simply a lie and is useful to deflect Isaacson's own paid support for Chavez, the FARC and Correa. The hostages held by the FARC today as human shields are not owned as slaves by children but by hardened criminals who more than not will cut your throat.  Isaacson is a propagandist and a liar at that. He calls himself a fellow journeyman- with some Congressmen from the USA and other anti Plan Colombia activists. We call him a liar.

The HERALD gushes, " `We now know that the FARC were not just sitting in the jungle,'  said Adam Isacson, who closely follows the guerrilla group at the Washington, D.C.-based Center for International Policy.’It's clear from the records found on Reyes' computer that they had an international outreach effort. But it is also clear that it was stunted.' “To be sure, no terror group of under 20,000 trained murderers, drug runners, racketeering agents, kidnappers, rapists, money launderers and bank robbers is not in some ways "stunted" by its own criminality. But it is deceptive- it is a lie- to mislead that the even now admirably reduced FARC ranks are not potent and while no doubt facing the endgame of their life of crime, are still quite active today in their role as one of several global criminal cartels. Isaacson says we now know that the FARC had global links. Any who follow the FARC have known this for years, as has Isaacson, whose own group in Washington, DC enjoys hosting the likes of Chavez's own plenipotentiary Alvarez and the FARC moll Piedad Cordoba while continuously debasing the moral principles of Alvaro Uribe every chance he can get. Today Isaacson is spear heading the gang of 24 so called NGOs, most all are Soros pro drugs efforts or inextricably linked to the Soros and US AID family of pro Chavez and pro FARC activists to denounce the Uribe government in order to promote an agenda to create economic instability in Colombia, called denouncing the FTA with the USA in order to reward labor unionists.

Isaacson wants us to believe his lies that the FARC were not enjoying the full state sponsorship of Correa and Chavez and now of course Bolivia and Argentina as well as Brazil. The FARC seeks yet to topple the government of Colombia and re arm while enjoying the secondary benefits of Chavez's massive re armaments for their protection racketeering. Previous paid Reports on the ANDES by Soros's EURASIA group, obviously one of the Andean Desk at the US Department of State's preferred contractors of malarkey, has been noted here before for its so called Reports which are chock full of gaps,  gaffes, political errors and propaganda. The U.S. State Department calls this their Andean truth squad. We call it reprehensibly incompetent and deceptive. We do not know why John Negroponte allows this leeching of U.S. monies to continue toward such dishonest reports to try to tell us all that Correa's anti PLAN COLUMBIA, also called Plan Ecuador, is delightful when it is indeed a formal statement of a nation which claims- by its own words found inside Plan Ecuador- to be a state sponsor of terror. To continue to pretend that Plan Ecuador is not an anti Plan Colombia and is not a pro FARC manifesto is to be stupid enough as to simply take at face value the misleading and deceptive propaganda from the Soros-U.S. democratic Party pro drugs activists and the pro FARC and pro Chavez activists, now one and the same.

And while we are busy denouncing the fake analysis of the FARC by the Soros team, also called Talking Points for Congressmen Engle, Reid, Pelosi, Delahunt and McGovern- and also apparently the ridiculous HERALD today [ all of whom need better sources] we note that the IAPA in Caracas released its Semi Annual state of the media summary: "Entre los presidentes más destacados en sus ataques a la prensa estuvieron el paraguayo Nicanor Duarte --en este semestre el país que reporta más ataques contra los medios--; Tabaré Vásquez, de Uruguay; Manuel Zelaya, de Honduras; Rafael Correa, de Ecuador; Daniel Ortega, de Nicaragua; Evo Morales, de Bolivia, y Hugo Chávez, de Venezuela. "

We compliment the IAPA for telling us that at least 7 nations under the Chavez-Cuban plan for media manipulation, also called non truth telling, is underway. We do not commend the IAPA for its own delusional failures to actually do anything about the state monopolies which are conspiring now to take over free speech and profit from the seizure of one of mankind's greatest gifts of free speech. Rather than fight these criminal rackets for what they are, media owners around South America continue to play their own version of wet foot/dry foot.....some small free speech burblings while most all of their media is co opted by their neo Marxist governments. It is rather like getting one's facts and engaging in free speech for about three minutes. While some may claim that quickies are the only way to move, there is a far more satisfying endeavor to fully know the issues before us...not some spoon fed quick release news item which forgets to tell or report the whole story. Media owners in the Andes, outside Peru and Colombia, tell us that they have no legal recourse but to abandon their morals to the immoral Chavez-Correa team. This is a pathetic lie: there is always recourse to criminality. But first one must stop actually believing the double agents of manipulative living which tell one and all that they must only make common cause with the Chavez liars club to enjoy any progress at all. When dealing with the serpents of evil, it is advisable to only proceed with full truth tellers and not the slippery slope of infiltrators and appeasement artists, as is too often the case of media corporatists in the region.

We have watched as Andean media owners are informed, as was Alvaro Uribe that they must pay money to work more closely with the U.S. Democrats and the very kindred souls who have assisted the FARC and the rise of totalitarianism in the Andes, also called populism. This is bad advice and guarantees an end to progress as fact based analysis gets watered down, infiltrated and debauched to satisfy their demands that all of life must be handed over to the neo Marxists for political control, avoiding the very tenants of democracy and freedom. This they call Alternative Democracy. We call it... a crime against reason, against truth telling and humanity.

For his part, Rafael Correa publicly stated, reported in EL COMERCIO here,  that the USA neither has nor holds rule of law and cares nothing for behaviors under the law. Such is the undereducated, vacuous wisdom and the propaganda of Correa or....what did US Congressman Engle call Correa-? - A man we can do business with. What precisely IS the business the U.S. Democrats see that they can do with Correa who has denounced the USA's democracy and its body of law....as well as stolen billions from American corporations while winning his own presidential bid courtesy of criminal cartels such as his father's own Andean drug lords and the Cuban-Chavez cabal? Why do you suppose that the USA's Democrats call Correa a strong friend and ally when Correa clearly loathes and despises law and order and all that the USA stands for? This week end Correa told us all that he is firmly united with Chavez to defend the Morales regime in their very united criminal bloc called the Bolivarians. Creating a narcozone in the Andes where lawlessness reigns is not anything that the USA or anyone else should support; no matter how much their political donors think it is a great idea.
