April 6, 2008   The Editors of ECrisis have long stated that when one lies down with dogs, you get fleas. Ecuadoreans and Venezuelans have been lying down with flea and vermin infested thinkers for quite some time now- to the point where it feels normal for them in such a time when manipulative thinking becomes holier than thou and the dogs of war- the real dogs- are growing. What war of attrition they think to gainsay is not only unnecessary but wildly expensive and helps none except their own criminal rackets, also called the governments of Ecuador and Venezuela, also called populists or neo Marxists of Cuban-managed myopia. Lying down with dogs eventually gets very expensive- not just for the loss of personal life satisfactions but also to the GDP of entire countries as they fail. And flea and vermin infested nations always fail.
 
At the strongest behest of those wizards of disgrace at the U.S. Department of State [because they refuse to do their own work and stand up for people of principles], every Andean nation has been pushed and pushed to hire U.S. Democratic mouth organs to lie and worse- do nothing to tell their stories. To be sure, Rafael Correa has been spending lots and lots of Ecuador's money on the Reichler-Fenton lobbying outreach team who has brought the world some of the saddest and most reprehensible propaganda campaigns known in the history of the West, almost all of them involving criminals, narcoterrorists, communists and nefarious dealings. It is the new mafia and Correa has their leading Tokyo Rose working for him to help legitimize that which should never be legitimized.
 
Alvaro Uribe's government has been pressured long enough to spend its money on a fools' errand to pay lots of money to supposedly tell its truths. And Uribe's government has had no contractual satisfaction at all from these mouth organs of duplicity and double dealings, revealed as it was by Uribe's own paid lobbyist in Washington who actually apologized for helping Uribe to tell the truth. Read the NEW YORK TIMES here about the end of their lobbyist for the anti-Colombia campaign of Hillary Clinton, also called Uribe's governmental promotional contract. But Colombia stupidly has many many others on contract who have performed abysmally that an entire review of all this failure to perform contracts should be undertaken immediately for the pressure to throw good money after bad is an epidemic. Colombia now says that only one of their lobbyists has been fired for disrespecting the terms of his contract and the authentic people of Colombia. But the real problem is....how long has this been going on?

How long does a decent guy like Alvaro Uribe need to throw good money after bad to try to make the US Democrats happy when all they do is lie about him and knife him in the back?  And moreover, Uribe must state to the US officials who pressured and insisted that hiring persons who hurt you is a good idea must never again occur. Besides, anyone who ever takes advice from the U.S. Department of State has a fool for a client. A quick fact check of anyone who has ever benefited from such advisors since 1997 shows that only fools walk in to the US State Department and no one seriously ever enters their doors any more- certainly not for any real time help because they know that the State Department employees will summarily stab any truth tellers in the back, lie about it and pretend that all is wonderful when it is not. No American business or freedom lover is welcome inside the mafia style monkey business today at the US State Department unless of course he or she works for the pro FARC Soros contingent of US AID and the OAS and the US Democratic Party. We say this because the majority of work at the US State Department is helping this unholy troika and none else.
 
And so in the heat of the battle to tell the truth, once again Alvaro Uribe is stabbed in the back by his own hired hands in the USA. This does NOT build confidence in Latin America that truth tellers are at hand but rather sets off the cascading opinion that all in the USA can be bought and sold as freely as Chavez and Correa do with a cynical manipulation that undergirds the current moral abyss.
 
Uribe did lie down with dogs: men and women whom he thought would help but like the greedy dogs that they are, treated him abysmally and illegally, with no care as to the integrity of their contracts. Uribe's lady ambassador, preferred of course by the US Democrats- also called the pro FARC and pro CHAVEZ-Correa goofballs, want her to stay. She is way way over her head and owes Uribe and his tax payers an explanation as to why she kept shelling out their money for contracts that did Colombia no good and actually brought harm and shame in a very expensive FTA bid. We hope Colombia gets its money back under US law for contract non performance from all its current goofy so called populist enabling lobbyists who have not told the truth and helped Uribe not at all- certainly not in the US media for Uribe and sound journalists performed this task all on their own.  Never should any assume that Uribe's lobbying team helped tell his story in the US media as favorable to Uribe- this is simply the function of sound journalism and not the feature of highly paid lobbyists and PR managers, who obviously by their own admission, have done nothing to help Uribe.
 
At least Uribe had the grace to fire these $300,000 a year dogs who "done him wrong" and have been concurrently providing strategic information, in a clearly illegal conflict of interest, to the very team from the U.S. labor parties and the Democratic strategists who would deny Uribe any free trade. The people of Ecuador and Venezuela should demand the same from their leadership: get their money back from actors who help nothing.

Today the rumors grow that Correa's cabinet leader Larrea was himself Stasi-trained in the Cuban intelligence and is backed by Chavez's DISIP. This is a significant rumor which demands the facts. We are confident that law abiding citizens from Ecuador will seek the truth from Correa and Chavez....and Castro as to who is who in their growing roster of liars and paid manipulators and criminal cartel perpetrators, called government officials now.
 
And we are confident that Ecuadoreans will determine the links between DISIP and Correa's over paid lobbyists and cartel enhancers called his paid propagandists, active now. However, because Ecuadoreans today are lazy and shallow, their own fates are dismissed blithely by the cocktail party chatter and none move to denounce what little facts they have as darkness engulfs Ecuador in its unending goal of replicating the black out that is Castro's Cuba.
 
Rafael Correa has been screaming once again that he is taking total control of Ecuador's intelligence and police and military [as he did with its courts and with its Congress and with its entire government] because- he wants you to know- the USA offered some intelligence services to him....and this he cannot abide. Rafael Correa now has no intelligence at all. As recently stated on a clever blog site,

That is right folks: Rafael Correa is a manipulative, lying and badly undereducated idiot who is now no better than a mafia tool for the Iranian-Chavez-Cuban-FARC gangsters. And he has the brains of a 14 year old.
 
And to further prove the point that Ecuador is governed behind the scenes today by a lethal cocktail of USA NGOs that seek to assist crafting an entire narcozone in the Andes plus some nasty money from Hugo Chavez and the FARC, we remind that today, even though still listed in his previous post as having replaced Cesar Montufar at Participacion Ciudadana [ recently let go for publicly stating- while taking large sums of US AID monies- that it was wonderful for Ecuador to steal from U.S. businesses] which is still taking large sums of US AID monies. This US AID funded NGO has already told us that the Assembly at Montecristi is wonderful and legitimate. This is the same outfit that brought us the ridiculous Lucio Gutierrez era Campaign to Be on Time. But its leader, Sr. Jose Valencia, read about it here from their current web site, is promoting the propaganda in today's EL COMERCIO  that Ecuador's specious law suit against Colombia before the Hague Criminal court is wonderful because....as he tells us, Paul Reichler has been working hard on the case. Sr. Valencia knows this....because he is now the #2 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is Ecuador's parallel to John Negroponte and we guarantee that in title only is where the comparison ends. Sr. Valencia has committed contract fraud for his NGO for years and has worked very hard to congeal numerous anti-USA actors and funds both as an executive at the USA hating Participacion Ciudadana and now as a propagandist for the Paul Reichler-Fenton Communications contract holders to tell us all that lawsuits against Colombia for political purposes, with no science/with no forensics and no medical authenticity at all- is a good waste of Ecuadorean and American monies. Not one penny of American money should have been illegally co-mingled with this NGO and Ecuadoreans themselves need to stop their own nonsense on this specious lawsuit. Recall too that Ecuador has just enjoined formally the specious lawsuit against Chevron Texaco, also with no visible forensics or accountable science to back up their claims while avoiding PetroEcuador's liability- just recently handed over to the Ecuadorean armed forces so as to...probably bankrupt the military one fine day. Then again, the military of Ecuador has been ordered to protect and defend the FARC so who can take them seriously any more? The Inter American Defense Board needs to kick them out. Then again, so too does the OAS need to kick out Correa.
 
Here is the FARC and Chavez payroll moll Piedad Cordoba in yet another prison sentence avoiding activity: she is noticeably seeking to commence to announce her candidacy [should she alter her current political party backing] for the FARC- Chavez-Correa cartel's political party called Polo Democratico or Polo Patriotico, also called the Soros arm of the U.S. Democratic Party to insure that Colombia return as a narcostate instead of its current state of lawfulness and hope. Here is the high priestess of slime, also called US Congressionally supported by Pelosi, Schakowsky, Delahunt and McGovern, telling us she will govern Colombia:



This moll for the mob has not once ever disclosed how much her Chavez-paid expense account to promote the FARC stands at. We think she should. We think she needs to disclose every penny she takes from the USA, who she is with as an agent of Chavez and the FARC's foreign government to the USA from Ecuador and what she and Rodrigo Granda aspire to, which is of course treason and crime.

She has yet to disclose her USA backers. Nor has she accounted for the expenditures to put her inside US Congressional offices to lie to the US government and before numerous US AID backed NGOs like the Inter American Dialogue. This moll is no hero and is a paid propagandist for murderers and criminals.
She needs to have her VISA to the USA cancelled and all funds from the U.S. taxpayers refunded.
 
To stop lying down with dogs, we advise: stop lying down with dogs. Get up. Walk away. Terminate these vermin riddled lifestyles of manipulative living.

You should also get your money back. Your investment in manipulators, also called dishonest living, gives very little bang for the buck and is always a diminishing return. There are no satisfactions with deceivers and manipulators: only the cold bed of deals made for expediency and out of irresponsible living.
