Ignoring Reality and the Facts is Dishonest and Always Leads to Crime; U.S. Democrats Defend Deception and Abandon Truth Telling
April 7, 2008 In one of the most recent made-for-TV docu-dramas, we note that the framework for the USA's politics today is one of a great national divide: the preferred uneducated versus the thoughtful voter. Democratic Senator and candidate to run the White House Barack Hussein Obama is leading the rallying against truth telling today and gives support of the reprise of the Know Nothing Party, also called the U.S. populist voters who have taken over the heart and soul of the U.S. Democrats as envisioned by George Soros and his unending money and power to insure that his will be done. Soros has engineered many a campaign such as the Hate Israel and Help HAMAS and Hezbollah campaigns, the HATE USA and Bush- call him a Nazi please campaign, and the Hate Life and Demand federal monies for narcotics distribution and payments to terminate life, also called euthanasia, having graduated from transgender issues and early stage abortion rights. All this self hatred reaches its nadir in full conversions away from the hope of freedom toward the despair of the deceitful.
All this dovetails neatly in to the current craze in the Andes to perforce a totalitarian bloc called Bolivarianism where crime is king and punishment by any independent justice [outside Colombia, sometimes Chile, and Peru] is a foresworn disaster. There is no justice or law enforcement in Ecuador, Bolivia and Venezuela today outside the capricious law of political perps who hold all powers for the criminal cartel that is them.
Today we see the beginning of the end of the innocent fun and games that has consumed North American politics and does directly impact how Latin Americans filter their own news about the world. That is to say that a political vote is looming on the Colombia-US FTA which is a battle royal pitting truth tellers versus liars. No one has expressed this more eloquently than the now compromised U.S. Congressman Charlie Rangel, head of the powerful Ways and Means Committee- the wallet of the U.S. Congress. Rangel revealed the depraved situation of the Pelosi-Reid Congress when he blithely told the world that the facts about Colombia- its merits and its truths- matter nothing: it is not relevant. What is relevant, he tells us, is that most USA Democrats prefer to believe the lies about Colombia and are determined to hold this effrontery to their jobs and to the truth as a Maginot Line to install instead power to the manipulative so called populists who have clearly bought and sold the US Democrats. If the Colombia-US FTA trade deal is voted down by the US Congress, only deception and dishonor will have triumphed and nowhere will the truth be on the negotiating table. Such is the power of the Soros managed US Democrats and Charlie Rangel knows this.
Today's WALL STREET JOURNAL correctly points out the new have- truths versus have -not truths divide in the USA, "The simple truth is that the opposition to the trade agreement--from the Democratic presidential contenders to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi--has nothing to do with reality. Rep. Charles Rangel, chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, admitted as much recently: `It's not the substance on the ground--it's the politics in the air.' " This is a repulsive moral relativism which, like Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro and Rafael Correa, will lie at any cost and ignore truisms to retain power at any price. Living la vida manipulativa based on personal politics always delivers the reality that the air is thin and the substance demeaned. Ecuadoreans know a lot about la vida manipulativa: one and all are taught the virtues of living outwardly virtuous lives while inwardly living inside classic sociopathic homestyles of manipulation, deception, delusion and fear while nothing is honest and affection is for show only. Some maintain that this is no way to live: cold, alone and manipulated but Ecuadoreans- like Venezuelans- are so addicted to their manipulations that they refuse to stand for anything but their unending right to be tricked, duped, robbed, murdered and raped by the Correa-Chavez regime which has taken over all their rights and left them with only their empty demands that they be manipulated some more, even as they do.
And in a grand bow to ignoring her own thousands of employees who actually abhor free trade and the foreign policy of the USA, the USA's Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice comes today in a poignant position piece also in the WALL STREET JOURNAL to tell us that the world itself is now engaged in the small item called the Colombia-US FTA vote which has come to symbolize the politics of deception versus the politics of fact based and measured thinking. Rice's position on the USA-Colombia FTA is utterly correct but she of course has doomed her own heritage and failed to prevent this costly war of attrition against truth tellers in Latin America by forgetting to remove her own incompetent team members at the US Department of State who have been busy for years toiling away to create havoc against the basics of democracy in this hemisphere. Rice is now hampered with both of her hands tied behind her back by the deceptive staff she has by the thousands and an anti USA media which generally cares only about spinning and lying about the facts, following the Spanish language media inside the USA which is well over 90% political propaganda to the :"Latina" audience whom these Spanish language media owners treat as dismissively as media owners do in most of South America, assuming as they do that all Spanish speakers want to be lied to, manipulated and are so lazy and vapid that they will never seek the facts. This may be true but it remains repulsive. Some call this family values: we call it sinful and dishonest. It is the challenge of our times and politically it is being led by vapid, irresponsible 14 year olds who are almost about as corrupted as the so called assembly in Montecristi which is nothing more than the Correa-Chavez-Castro team running the show. The US Democrats think this is a glorious example of Jeffersonian democracy where facts matter nothing and all politics of persuasion- also called propaganda- must control the vagaries of the known world, abandoning law and order and essential rule of law in favor of...mobocracy, which they call democracy but is in fact a lawless narcozone.
Although too much, too little, too late, Rice correctly states, "Beyond our economic interests, this agreement will also further our national interest in a free and peaceful hemisphere. Some in the Americas today want to shove the region toward authoritarianism. This system has failed before, and it will fail again. The only question is how much harm it will cause in the meantime, and in large part that depends on us – on whether we support the vast majority of people in the Americas today who believe, as we do, that security and social justice are best achieved through liberty and the rule of law, free and fair trade, and responsible democratic governance. Colombia shares these values, and we have invested billions of dollars in our ally's success. How could we possibly retreat now?
The fate of this agreement raises even larger questions: How does the U.S. treat its friends, especially when they are under pressure and attack? Will we remain engaged as a global leader or will we pull back unilaterally? Will we define our role in the world by confidence in our own principles or by capitulation to unfounded fears? The eyes of many nations, particularly those in our own hemisphere, are upon us, and let no one think that the choices we make will not echo around the globe.
For more than a decade, U.S. policy toward Colombia has clearly demonstrated that Republicans and Democrats can work together, elevate the national interest above partisan politics and sustain an effective strategy to achieve critical long-term goals. It is now time to write the next chapter in this venerable bipartisan story. We must approve this free trade agreement with Colombia – for the sake of both of our peoples' success."
Readers of ECrisis will wonder if Rice has lifted some of our past pieces. We also hope she instructs her own team to stop saying that they were completely ignorant of the complicity of Chavez and Correa with the FARC- this debases her profound strengths as noted in her exemplary piece today, which details very much the interconnections between Chavez -Correa and the FARC in its own way- and shows the internal divisions of the goofy State Department of the USA. But we are not so complacent or selfish to even dream of influencing Rice's soaring rhetoric here. But she is completely correct [at long last] that what we have here is a major battle between acting on the confidence of our convictions versus the capitulation to unfounded fears- an epidemic now in the Andes and as deadly as any other scourge. We all know that our Ecuadoreans instructors would have us always and everywhere capitulating to unfounded fears and even making up new fears- that is surrendering to deceit- because it is far more convenient than growing up and acting responsibly. But Rice delineates that this is a human choice to be confident in our beliefs and never wimpy/sold out/manipulative of our morals and ethics.
That the US Secretary of State needs to remind us all of this core principle in this Century is remarkable on its own but it is warranted and necessary because....because most now have surrendered to the lures of living la vida manipulativa, as instructed from birth. This is the dilemma of our age. And we guarantee that in about 10 days time, the new Pope will explain poignantly in the USA the same dilemma for any to hear...that today's mankind is willfully abandoning his convictions and spirit to the entrapment, the mafias of the manipulators of deceit. This is self imprisonment which this Pope would have us reinsert truth telling, long unwelcome in Latin America because....it is inconvenient for any to tell the truth because it might inspire someone else to tell the truth and so on. Far easier to shut down all truth tellers than actually do something of meaning.
Latin Americans today have no cause- no valid cause- to complain and whine and feel victimized any more. Latins have no global friends any more, having stiffed most European nations with bad loans, thefts and dishonest proceedings. Latins outside Peru, Chile, El Salvador, Colombia and Mexico watch their liberties and prospects wither, erode and die and still refuse to do what is necessary, that is cease their addiction to being lazy and actually work for a change. But it is easier to pretend that they are victims and can do nothing. In fact, very shortly most Latins will be victims: victims of their own incompetence, their own addiction to lying and manipulative living, still telling us that they are muy nerviosos and cannot cope. Latins need to snap out of it and grow up. They victimize themselves and are embarrassingly lazy in many instances, even while insisting that their lives lived with running around, running around, constantly pretending that they are important while utterly vapid, is the social norm. One cannot be important while pretending also that one is too nervous to cope. Important is Condoleezza Rice and her words are important for she does speak truth to power, as we all should.
That is the real vote on the US-Colombia FTA: truth to power or power to untruths. The U.S. Democrats openly urge one and all to believe that supporting untruths is important. Condoleezza Rice gives truth to power. In Venezuela and Ecuador, no one gives truth to power any more. This has gotten them in to trouble but as long as the Chavez bribes, threats and extortion rackets keep handing out dirty money, their will be done across South America. Once bribed and sold out [as our Mamas instruct us to be], it is very hard to come back to integrity although it can be done with hard work.
We say that abandoning truth telling always leads to crime. Ecuador is the murder capitol of the globe and shows itself for what it is by this very fact: Ecuador is rampant with self delusional, complacent adolescents whose very intention is to lazily blame everyone else and shut off truth tellers while their world dies in a blaze of mayhem, murder, rape and complicity to criminals. Ecuadoreans pretend that no one else can see what they are when everyone but Ecuadoreans see them for what they are: complicit with/accomplices to crime. Living la vida manipulativa gets all into trouble. And when Condoleezza Rice speaks truth to power, one and all whisper....that is OK for her but we cannot accept her high standards. This is normal cocktail chatter now and it is completely debauched thinking. Instead of further abandoning life's greatest gifts, Ecuadoreans should feel buoyed and cheered by truth tellers- not cynical and in denial. Ecuadoreans can also chose to stand on principles or stay covered in their own debased irrelevancy of crime. Families, churches and schools are not sacrosanct any longer.
This has long been a manipulative myth which has given rise to the current culture of deception. Families, churches and schools are not tools for manipulation but must hold themselves to higher standards and actually stand for morality and ethical persuasions- not the self serving deceit as we know it today which imprisons all Ecuadoreans in self imprisoning cages of....inertia, selfishness, shame and self importance when they are....not important at all because they have no relevance, no truths and no honor any more.
The world has shifted once again. The spotlight is on this primal debate: do liars always win and truth tellers only get the back side of the door being slammed in their face? And what kind of world does this hand over?
Both American Democratic Party candidates are masters of deception. Hillary Clinton has made her life's work out of this. But she is now politically irrelevant, serving only as a smokescreen- a theatrical prop for Barack Hussein Obama's political ambitions for Mrs. Clinton is widely perceived as the dirtier of the two while Obama soothes with false platitudes of the cult leader that he is while barely revealing his true self. As she has all her life, Hillary Clinton has once more permitted men to manipulate her and abuse her.
Stop- alto!- saying there is nothing you can do. There is always hope. And that hope must have life breathed in to it by our hands or it is as manipulated as our home lives have become. The courage of men fails because we ourselves let it fail. No tanks, no armies of the night come to take our homes: we do this by the armies of deception and manipulation. It is a battle royal today which just got a huge boost with the current Chavez-Correa commandeered militaries, police and paramilitary take overs, tripling their military weapons sprees for aggressive ends. It is not this day that courage fails- not as long as even one person speaks truth to power. We advise: pay attention to Condoleezza Rice today. She has the right of it and then ask yourself what you can do for your country/for this old world...not what your neo Marxist statist kleptocrats will cut for you in the next shady deal. And while you are busy pretending that your outward show of religious piety is more than enough evidence of religiosity, consider that real living- real moral living under a consensus for the good still goes begging as its lights are turned off, one by one.
As for Charlie Rangel and his morally compromised political fortunes, it is an ages old Faustian Bargain to sell out to the powers of darkness, also called knowingly avoid the truth and facts to the unholy agreements with deception sellers. Ecuadorean Mamas tell us daily to beware of truth tellers like Rice and sell out always to the best manipulative deal. No wonder so many U.S. Democrats call the Ecuadoreans as "new allies" in their war of attrition and dishonesty.
Indeed, when we manipulate and appease we reveal our own personal self hatreds and our own weak willed lack of essential values, shallow as they obviously are.
We wear a for-public sign on our back that announces us to the world for what we are: self loathing, uninspiring, self hating, envious/jealous nihilists who do always and everywhere live the overt signs of manipulators and appeasement. This always leads to nihilism. It is today not the strength of our militaries and the total control over our lives by Chavez, Castro and Correa: it is our own weak manipulation that is our ruin and is indeed ruining all the bright promises of Western civilization. So every time you sell out and refuse to grow up, know that you are helping take down brick by brick the best hope of the ages.
The silence of the dead and near dead in Ecuador- its lack of response to the sustained criminality of Correa's cartel is impossibly irresponsible.
For any historian who may not know of such things and hides behind the thin veil that they are not Ecuadoreans and thus no one can understand them, this we know: Ecuador has no courts, no Congress, no free speech, no democracy and is a narcostate now. Ecuador is the world's murder capitol. Outsiders do not need to Biblically "know" Ecuadoreans to know that it is a hell hole, thanks to Lucio Gutierrez and Rafael Correa's finishing touches on the multi year slide in to hell. As they say, one need not has been an astronaut to understand that space is a vacuum. In Ecuador today, morals, ethics, democracy, liberty and hope are locked inside a self imprisoning vacuum where nothing is permitted, no free exchange of ideas is sought and no alliances with truth tellers organized. Living in a self imprisoning Ecuadorean or Venezuelan vacuum of adolescent mania is a self fulfilling expose of what it is like living in a time and place with no honest partner, no organic confidence and nothing honest.
Just this last week, Peru's Alan Garcia echoed our position that the only way to have integrity is to get out of the lazy self imprisonment of the manipulated, stop manipulative addictions and grow honesty like a crop as he correctly stated before REUTERS, " `The only way to grow is to have markets,' he said. `The worst recipe in this fast-moving, modern world is to shut yourself off, like Robinson Crusoe on an island.' " Bravo Garcia. Bravo. Unlike Ecuadoreans who chose to be idiots, Alan Garcia just showed the world that he has become a responsible adult whose opinions are reflected in the fact that Peru has just gained a rating as Investment Grade- moving solidly into 2nd tier statehood. Now THAT is responsible leadership.
