Correa and Chavez Marxist Criminality called Moderate and `Based on Mutual Interests': We call them neo Marxist Zones of Rackets
April 21, 2008 Comes now the NEW YORK TIMES today in one of the most dishonest Simon Romero pieces [and he has run many whoppers] on record. Romero dishonestly tells us, "Mr. Correa has been relatively moderate in his policies so far during his presidency. American officials gloss over the tension with Mr. Correa when speaking publicly. `Such relations are completely transparent via official and appropriate channels, and based on mutual interests,' Arnaldo Arbesú, a spokesman for the United States Embassy in Quito, said of ties between American intelligence officials and their Ecuadorean counterparts."
No one with eyes to see and ears to hear cannot conclude that Rafael Correa's regime is one of South America's most radical, corrupt efforts which is installing a neo Marxist cabal, also called a narcostate in Ecuador. That Romero sources U.S. Embassy spokespersons indicates the point of this pro-cartel propaganda piece: to aid and abet the enormously corrupt efforts to destroy Ecuador and convert it into a living breathing criminal zone, run by Chavez-Correa criminals and assisting criminals. Ostensibly Romero is supposed to point out the legitimacy of any USA-Ecuadorean relationship. Rafael Correa calls any relationship with truth tellers a contagion- a disease- and he will not stand for it in his haste to craft an utterly dishonest zone.
As the WEEKLY STANDARD correctly noted of the region today, "It is Chávez who profits most from the [free trade] C FTA's demise. For years now, he's been locked in a struggle with Colombian president Alvaro Uribe over the future of South America. Chávez wants that future to be socialist, authoritarian, friendly to other dictators, and belligerent toward the United States. Uribe wants it to be market-oriented, democratic, and integrated into an international system friendly to freedom and organized and led by the United States. The two visions could not be more different." Colombia is "A war-torn country with a democratically elected government, plagued by militias, terrorists, and drugs--but one that is steadily making progress against all these evils--wants to strengthen its ties to the United States. The Bush administration acts to help this ally. What does the Democratic Congress do? It changes the rules so that the Colombia Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), negotiated in good faith between the two governments and inked in 2006, can't come to a vote. Memo to Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chávez: Send flowers to the office of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi."
We advise....while Chavez should be sending flowers to Pelosi for helping his take over of Colombia- assisting as her paid political advisors are in spreading lies/propaganda and disinformation about Colombia- by destabilizing and vilifying a nation undeserving of such dirty tricks and animosity by the U.S. Democratic Party for financial gains, so too should Rafael Correa send flowers to the inept Simon Romero of the NEW YORK TIMES for his gloss over of the profoundly shocking failed state that is Ecuador under Correa in lockstep with the Cuban-Venezuelan troika now. Lying and more propaganda about Rafael Correa's take over of Ecuador is bad journalism, bad statesmanship and is politically entwined with the very criminals who intend to commandeer over half of Latin America and the entire Andes as a criminal narcozone.
The article further notes, "Instead we [the USA] have turned our back on Uribe and the Latin American future he represents, supporting Chávez's claims that the `hegemon' is untrustworthy. Free trade agreements are not simply about trade. They are also about geopolitics: helping friends, strengthening alliances, shaping the future of, in this case, our hemisphere." This is what Latin hands call their "new diplomacy"- turning away from high minded principles and abandoning the facts in favor of helping their own contractors craft a narcoregion to assist the OAS and the U.S. Democratic Party's biggest donor of all: George Soros and his minions, moving now. The DEMOCRAT-Soros team [read about it here] has sold out the values of the USA, now in retreat, and has abandoned the core of diplomacy- integrity- for the bright shining beacon of failure to be honest while legalizing that which should never be legalized. Good men and true in the Andes do not stand a chance against this juggernaut.
This is the face of Andean politics today, imbued and married to the criminal regime of Castro's Cuba and Iran:

Chavez has mandated that all his schools now inoculate all citizens in his zones with NeoMarxist lies. Chavez has finally done it: tossed out law and order and replaced real time academics with fake educational materials. This is underway now in Ecuador and Bolivia too, by plan. It behooves Western society to review the actual school materials forced upon the stupidly inept Venezuelans for what lies ahead. All should repulse this take over by Chavez of catholic teaching and independent education. In Ecuador...not one sound comes forth. It seems that the U.S. Embassy in Quito thinks this is a great idea: we do not. We call this the end of democracy by any definition. This is not moderate and this is not free speech and this is not anything but the Cuban communist school model. The Archbishop of Caracas tells us that Venezuelans will not stand for this take over of their schools by Chavez's ham handed forcefulness. We commend Urdino's optimism but we see Venezuelans once again shooting themselves in the foot as they have on every issue of vital importance to their nation- never once reaching out in a purposeful fashion to coalesce freedom lovers and grow support for fighting back the scourge of communism sweeping Latin America. Instead, they fail themselves with the age old cry that to be nervous and incompetent, abandoning their friends and allies, at the very moment they are needed, will help them survive. Survive for a month or two but in the end this manipulate and retreat game plan never wins and always loses.
Whole businesses are stolen, whole millions of children are forcibly mentally raped in to state service of the inept and whole generations are lost: a terrible expense for any with a mind to rebuilding these lands.
NOTICIAS 24 today explains it this way:
"Altos oficiales brasileños estarían preocupados por la injerencia venezolana en su país, especialmente tras denunciarse que un militar venezolano ha proporcionado entrenamiento a una guerrilla indígena en la Amazonía. Lo dice Edgar C. Otálvora en su informe de esta semana."
But the U.S. Embassy in Quito tells Simon Romero that this is....a USA-Andean policy "based on mutual interests" and of course that Correa is a moderate.
While that Embassy is busily lying about its own back room and under-reported internecine supports for the Correa-Chavez-FARC adventures in the Andes, we remind that there is nothing moderate about the radical leftist pro FARC dictator named Chavez ally and strongman Rafael Correa who now controls every facet of Ecuadorian life nor are any of the Correa-US. Department of State funded activities in Ecuador of any benefit whatsoever to the USA or the people of Ecuador, unless of course one is Soros who actually dreams of an Andean narcostate and puts his money where his heart and dreams are to develop more narcostate business relations. But Simon Romero glosses over all this and seems to soothe his readers that Correa was justified in his false claims that the US CIA had anyone with any integrity operating in Ecuador of late. Listeners- yes. But geopolitical translations -no. And so the US CIA was inert and inept, walled off as they have been for years by the pro-Chavez actors across the CIA-State Department teams. Most USA operatives in Ecuador existed solely to aid and abet the Soros wet dream of converting the Andes to an illegitimate zone run amuck, fully fun for terrorists, money launderers and criminals. They have succeeded and really are no longer needed in Ecuador, having succeeded in their covert mission. No doubt they will be welcome some more in Zimbabwe, having over run the pro democracy sensibilities in Paraguay and Africa's Kenya, like locusts these aberrant persons move on.
Carlos Alberto Montaner points out that the debaucheries currently enshrined in Venezuela and Ecuador are of their own doing and are so disgusting that millions of humans and millions of legitimate investments are running from these criminals where there is no democracy, no meaningful freedom and no rule of law:
Prosperous nations foster competition, respect for rule of law
Carlos Alberto Montaner
"Hugo Chávez is going to nationalize the steel mills and the big cement factories in Venezuela. Instead of creating a communist revolution, the Venezuelan president is buying it on the installment plan with his private river of petrodollars. He does not intend to stand the capitalists before a firing squad; he'll simply buy them out. He did it with the Caracas power plant and the telephone company, and he plans to do it again with every other important sector of the economy. Presidents Rafael Correa in Ecuador and Evo Morales in Bolivia are walking down the same road, each at his own pace." Please click here for the full article.
Rafael Correa has just stated that it is "not" in Ecuador's best interests to be aligned with any nation that acts with integrity under rule of law. His new Minister of Defense agrees and as propagandist in chief, has set about to inform Ecuador about the perils of being honest while encouraging the already hyperactive and intellectually lazy Ecuadoreans to be increasingly more manipulative and dishonest, as if this were possible.
We know these lands for what they are: dirty, criminal zones with massive murder and crime rates where no one is honest and nothing good is welcome. Instead of welcoming Pope Benedict's message of common sense, Ecuador, Bolivia and Venezuela are nations run by deceit and state sponsored criminal cartels. This is the new zone of rackets, ZOR for short. While the Pope was Something Good that Came This Way, Correa, Chavez and Morales slink about- listening at key holes, monitoring talk, extorting society for personal gain while their own refusal to grow up and be responsible adults is exhibited in the very deteriorated base they maintain, run as it is by others and on the money of others. For something good to come this way, first one must start with something good.
