Stupid is As Stupid Does
June 26, 2008 Rafael Correa's government is one of the most poorly organized and immature, adolescent gaggles of goofballs ever compiled in the history of the Andes and they have seen some whoppers. But these fools take the cake and it is not only embarrassing but is costly. It is not a prize anyone should aspire to. The Correa regime has performed just about every mistake known to analysts in its unending defense of ruining a once functioning nation.
Double digit inflation is today's problem in Ecuador when inflation should be well below 5%. This from the so called brilliant economist Correa [who in fact is not brilliant and remains a Cuban-model acolyte which is of course a ruinous socio-economic zone], who single handedly leads the nation with no advise and consent and nothing meaningful going on at the presidential palace as all efforts are on manhandling the overpaid adolescents at Montecristi to pass over Correa's 400+ item constitution as fast as possible, also with no advise and consent and certainly no adults present. These people are incompetent.
But Ecuadoreans, moving under a manipulative and utterly useless mandate like lemmings rolling off a cliff, demand their right to defend their own stupidity and laziness which they call "sovereignty" and trump up fake claims that everyone legitimate in the world today is out to get them because, as all Ecuadoreans tell us, they have done nothing wrong except... to team up with criminal cartels, Iranean mullahs and destroy the very fabric of society. But you see- it is someone else's fault while no one domestically lifts one finger. Here is Ecuador's Correa stupidly cutting off his nose to spite his face- a hallmark of all Ecuadoreans today who actually despise Alvaro Uribe simply because Uribe tells the truth and is an adult. Ecuadoreans you see cannot stomach common sense and do now want the world to see them for what they are: lazy, dishonest and manipulative while politically attacking anyone else who might be successful:
From Goldman Sachs, June 26, 2008
"Emerging Markets Daily Economic Comment
ECUADOR
Resumption of Low Level Diplomatic Ties with Colombia Postponed
The planned resumption of low level diplomatic ties with Ecuador was halted by the Colombian government after President Correa’s “aggressive” rhetoric against Colombia.
Diplomatic relations had been cut off in the aftermath of the Colombian army raid of a FARC terrorist camp across the border with Ecuador. Ecuador is now raising the possibility that it might invoke economic/trade restrictions against Colombia.
Colombian exports to Ecuador reached just US$317 million during 1Q2008 (up 6.5% yoy), or the equivalent of only 3.7% of total Colombian exports during the period. Colombia ran a US$143million trade surplus with Ecuador during 1Q2008 on exports of US$317nm, and imports of US$174 million.
Hence, potentially retaliatory measures against Colombia would have very little economic impact on the performance of the Colombian economy. However, the impact on the Ecuadorian economy, already dealing with almost double digit inflation, could be more intense. Hence, we do not expect these threats to go from rhetoric into action."
As we have said before: greed and laziness will get you in to trouble and for Ecuador, Correa is in deep trouble...except with his heavily propagandized local citizens who agree with Correa, the Castros and Hugo Chavez that their nation is best served by aligning with Iran and global cartels of crime so deep that even Ecuadoreans refuse to comprehend what they do now. For its part, the OAS and US AID of the USA's State Department brought in the Jimmy Carter Center to organize negotiations between Correa and Uribe over the reality of the Raul Reyes computer materials. This they called a diplomatic crisis. This was no crisis. This remains a situation where two neighboring nations are today at deep odds. One nation is sustaining progress through rule of law and the other has destroyed progress by abandoning rule of law and has succumbed to a lawless land under the Chavez bloc of narconations. It is time to get back the massive contractor monies wasted on the Carter Center. We do not know why the USA tax payers once again waste their money on Fools Errands called diplomacy when any ten year old knows the difference between right and wrong, however much Rafael Correa does not.
This outfit failed and failed miserably because there was no baseline of real time facts under which these consultants operated. It is hopeless to presume that Rafael Correa will magically become a mature adult, performing the duties of his high office in any principled fashion as long as Correa is addicted to living la vida manipulative and lying not only to himself but to the world. For his part, Uribe correctly told the Carter Center money making team that the truth and the facts will not be manipulated. The USA did not need to waste more money on this foolishness and deserves to get its money back.
In order to defend his crimes against Ecuador, Correa will cut off its natural trading partner Colombia because Correa wants everyone to lie about his criminal leadership.
We will not throw Uribe's truth telling under the bus just to satisfy the manipulative demands of Correa. In Ecuador, abandoning truth tellers and law and order has been going on for far too long and as a national ethic is ruinous. It is time for Ecuadoreans to stand up like adults and support accountability and truth telling instead of playing more and more games that manipulation of reality is the primary goal. It is no goal but an end game of ruin.
The real truth is that Ecuador, like Bolivia and Venezuela are out of control, are illegitimate and are criminal cartels hiding behind fake democracy.
This headline of June 25, 2008 applies to Ecuador, too- not just woebegone Bolivia:

Publicado en El Nuevo País (Venezuela)
To all Ecuadoreans, we say: grow up. Your dictator Correa is a criminal and your nation is a joke. These are not nice words but are uttered to insist that sleepwalking through history is your choice but is a ruinous plan. Today Ecuador is a state sponsor of terror and just about any vermin that Correa and Chavez can profit from.
Over and over we are told to reject the facts and wait....wait some more for that magical transformation of Ecuador when the people bypass all boundaries of rational thought and vote on a most pathetic and irresponsible constitution this September. Our Venezuelan friends are also told over and over that they must wait and wait for a magical transformative moment when mysteriously Hugo Chavez will for the first time in 8 years allow local elections to be free and fair and thus democracy and legitimacy blooms in this tawdry land. The Soros-backed National Endowment for Democracy is beavering away to install this stalling tactic.
Democracy, like justice, when delayed is denied. This feature is lost- utterly lost on these minions of middle minded sycophants. But who is counting? Ecuadoreans and Venezuelans, who have absolutely nothing verifiable that any of these ridiculous elections will be clean or fair cheerfully abandon rational thought and agree that they must....wait and wait some more for someone else to magically transform their lives while using someone else's money. But wait! Chavez has just refused hundreds of local candidates their right to be elected, such as Gustavo Cisneros's own Leopoldo Lopez. While we denounce Chavez's illicit shenanigans to prevent legitimate elections, we know too well that Lopez is a self serving Obama-candidate suck up whose brain has been jiggered as he whined a lot at the Whiners Club in Washington DC where all whiners go to whine some more, called the US AID, Soros and OAS Whiners Club- sometimes called the InterAmerican Dialogue.
We say this: if you want to be a hero, be sure to stop whining and start looking like you are not a mouth organ for Gustavo Cisneros who aided and manipulated the sell out of Venezuelan free speech to enable his personal greed viz a viz Hugo Chavez's state media monopolies. The InterAmerican Dialogue never grasps these concepts in their rush to take money for campaigning with and for the Soros machine of whiners currently and desperately trying to put their man in the White House.
Today the WALL STREET JOURNAL features Karl Rove's words regarding the very selfish, whining and manipulative Soros team called the Barack Hussein Obama team running to run the globe, which we reprint here as a cautionary tale:
"...Mr. Obama's actions [can be seen as] someone driven by an all-powerful instinct to look out only for himself. In a contest over who is willing to put principle above personal ambition and self-interest, John McCain, a war hero and a former POW, wins hands down. That may not be the most important issue to voters in electing a president, but it's something they will rightly take into account."
While we are not so confident that American voters will vote for ethical leadership as opposed to the seductive powers of self interest, also called greed, we do know that in Ecuador this is not even a choice any more. One and all are instructed from birth today to place self interest, greed and personal ambition above all else. To be sure, Ecuadoreans look pathetic and are unwelcome at any table because in all this, Ecuadoreans are irresponsible and supportive of criminals. Self delusionally, Ecuadoreans call this their "Sovereign Right" to lie, steal, cheer and manipulate. While they get away with this debased socio economic scam at home, on the global stage it does not work and as yet, the world sees Ecuadoreans for what they are. And what they are today is looking like vapid Lebanese who will not even lift one finger as the FARC-Hezbollah criminals over run their banks, their businesses, their churches and schools for enshrining a fake replica of Cuba's glories which is of course today called the Bolivarian bloc of Hezbollah. Selfishness, even called "helping the poor" when it has no basis in reality, gets you into trouble.
Rove further notes, "Such arrogance – even self-centeredness – have featured often in the Obama campaign." This is uttered with derision we are sure. But for Ecuadoreans today such words are praiseworthy. Just ask your family...one and all insist that arrogance and selfishness is the only way to live life. We disagree. It is not nice to lie to the public: "...Obama, in his first national TV ad rolled out Friday, claims credit for having `extended health care for wounded troops,' citing the 2008 defense authorization. That bill passed 91-3 – but Mr. Obama was one of only six senators who didn't show up to vote. This brazen claim underscores the candidate's thin résumé and, again, his chutzpah." Barack Hussein Obama will be elected U. S. president if Americans act like Venezuelans and Ecuadoreans and lie to themselves that we are all best served by selfishness, greed and political expediency while living off of someone else's money. But wait! you say- that means he is one of "us." Like Correa who is today everyman, woman and child in Ecuador brainlessly rejecting common sense and their own jobs and health care, Obama is indeed We the People when We the People are lazy, arrogant and chose to live off of someone else's money. If this is what you want, this is what you may well get. But know this: it rejects the entire teachings of two thousand years of Western Civilization which never ever prospered because man was lazy or arrogant or selfish, also called criminal cartels hiding behind neo socialism. This reality is born out if and only if one asks the essential question: what has any Ecuadorean contributed for the last 15 years to anything? Scientific discoveries? Medical advances? Foreign leadership? Truth telling? Quality of Life? No indeed. the only thing that Ecuador has done is the last 15 years is convert its once vibrant nation in to a replica of Lebanon today, complete with all its non values, non education, non productivity and reprehensibly selfish living arrangements where one and all live large off someone else's money, insisting that this is their due course in life simply because the fools running Opus Dei told them so. In fact, the real reason this mindset of vacuousness which always leads to criminality is because.....folks can get away with it and are never held accountable. EL UNIVERSAL in Caracas this week reports that kidnapping and murder is at an all time high in Venezuela which is today statistically, like Ecuador, a lawless land with no law and order, " the reasons why Venezuela imported the [murder for hire with impunity] method from Colombia and Mexico include increasing impunity, distrust in the police and the judiciary and the growing possibility of finding hired assassins." That is to say....crime escalates because criminals get away with it.
This week, Senator John McCain noted in a radio interview, “I think that he [Chavez] is a threat to America’s security in the region. He’s worked very closely with Castro. There is significant evidence in the FARC computer files that show he was supporting FARC in a lot of ways…." What is it about these words that you and Rafael Correa disagree with precisely? If Chavez is a threat to the USA, it is a guaranteed certainty that Chavez's mere weapons, materiel and political take over of Ecuador's government is the defining gift to losers everywhere from Rafael Correa who cares nothing about honest sovereignty and cares very very much about making lots of excuses about his own criminality. Why do Ecuadoreans continue to sell out their own nation? What is it about this that you do not understand, or are you still lost in prevaricating and manipulating?
And just because Ecuadoreans actually want to accept whole cloth Correa-Iran-Chavez state propaganda and are so lazy that they will not even self educate, Ecuadoreans today hate Colombia because they believe that Interpol lied to them and FARC died innocently. Interpol has had it with these low level idiots called Ecuadoreans and has issued another Formal Statement denouncing Ecuador's lies. We say: time for the shameless Ecuadoreans to crawl out from their hiding places inside their sainted fortress condos and canyons and stand united for the truth. Or you will, like your schools, your communist comrades and your criminal cartel cousins... stand alone in criminal disgrace and ruin. If this be the end of manipulative living, do please hurry up. We are tired of spoon feeding babies the core facts which have been in front of you all along, only you chose to watch soap operas or children's TV programs and pretend that ignorance is bliss. That is not bliss- it is folly. It is folly to support the Correa-Chavez Plan for Manipulative Living. Stand up like men. Or stand alone with Zimbabwe, Libya, Iran and Syria.
Their life expectancy is well below 37 years on average. Continue your ruinous life on the stupid and be stupid.
INTERPOL media release
25 June 2008
"At the end of its two-day meeting from 24-25 June, 2008 at the INTERPOL General Secretariat Headquarters in Lyon, France, INTERPOL’s Executive Committee issued the following statement:
Executive Committee unanimously affirms INTERPOL’s report on seized FARC computers and highlights its long history of impartiality
LYON, France - INTERPOL’s singular capacity to provide independent, expert law enforcement assistance in international investigations is being increasingly recognised and called into action by the United Nations, other international bodies and our member countries throughout the world.
For the first time, in 2005, the United Nations Security Council unanimously adopted a resolution that specifically mentioned areas in which INTERPOL could play a vital role in the global anti-terrorism effort. UN international criminal tribunals have turned to INTERPOL for help in locating and arresting fugitives wanted for war crimes and crimes against humanity. INTERPOL experts have also been enlisted to assist independent commissions set up by the UN to investigate the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri and alleged corruption related to the UN’s oil-for-food programme.
The G8 Justice and Interior Ministers, at their meeting from 11-13 June 2008 in Tokyo, highlighted INTERPOL’s enhanced ability to provide its member countries with the tools necessary to fight serious transnational crime in the 21st century. Russia, in particular, spoke in favor of many of the positive developments benefiting all INTERPOL member countries under Secretary General Ronald K. Noble’s leadership. Similarly, for its security preparations for the Olympics, China has repeatedly referred to the significant role that INTERPOL has played and will play in helping it to host a safe and secure 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics.
INTERPOL has maintained its independence at various times recently when taking decisions or providing technical expertise in matters that invited partisan political criticism. When INTERPOL insisted that all of our member countries, including those subject to UN and other sanctions such as Cuba, Iran, Libya and Syria, be equipped with the same state-of-the-art and secure police communications system, some countries criticised us. When INTERPOL honoured a democratically taken decision by our European member countries to hold our regional conference in Belarus, it did so despite the forced boycott of that meeting by police from European Union member countries and strong criticism by the United States. INTERPOL and its member countries supported Israel’s desire to relocate from the Asian region to the European region because of its closer law enforcement ties to that region.
As members of INTERPOL’s Executive Committee elected to represent INTERPOL’s four working regions and 186 member countries, we recognise that periodically there are issues that divide our member countries. We also recognise that those divisions cannot and will not be allowed to cloud the integrity, impartiality or transparency of INTERPOL’s assistance to its member countries.
Unfortunately, there currently exists such a situation among some of our South American member countries related to the seizure of FARC computers and hardware by Colombia on 1 March 2008 and INTERPOL’s subsequent computer forensic examination and comprehensive report. INTERPOL’s report found that there had been no alteration or manipulation of any of the data contained in the user files of those computer exhibits following their seizure by Colombian authorities.
In our oversight role concerning the activities of INTERPOL’s General Secretariat, we have had an opportunity to review INTERPOL’s Forensic Report on FARC computers and hardware seized by Colombia, and we have received a detailed briefing on INTERPOL’s work that led to the publication of this report. Based on careful consideration of all relevant information, we endorse INTERPOL’s report and its findings in their entirety.
INTERPOL’s work in this matter was completely consistent with its Constitution, rules and regulations. Politics played no role whatsoever in INTERPOL’s determination that the eight computer exhibits seized by Colombia came from a FARC camp and had belonged to Raúl Reyes, and that the user files contained therein were not altered, modified or tampered with by Colombian authorities.
We thank the Organization of American States for its co-operation and appreciate OAS Secretary General José Miguel Insulza’s endorsement of INTERPOL’s findings in their entirety, as well as the comments of the European Union’s High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy, Javier Solana, who called INTERPOL’s report “good news.”
We also commend INTERPOL’s Secretary General, the General Secretariat staff and the independent computer forensic experts who conducted the examination for the thoroughness and impartiality of their work. We find very unfortunate the criticisms and personal attacks against INTERPOL made by Ecuadorian and Venezuelan government officials."
