Freedom- Glorious Freedom...for 15 and All Who Want to Hold It
July 4, 2008 Today is Independence Day for the 15 recently released FARC held hostages from Colombia. They should never have been held as hostages- not for one day and certainly not as special victims for manipulating political gains as planned by FARC allies Venezuela's Hugo Chavez and Ecuador's Rafael Correa.
The cruel and sadistic plans for manipulating the lives of many by Correa and Chavez to criminally cover up their criminal collusion with criminal drug runners and narcoterror groups is now exposed and they are found wanting....wanting essential humanity, law and order and decency. The Embassy of Venezuela released this week a full statement that Chavez's minions are happy for the hostages. The problem with liars like Chavez and Correa is that they now have no credibility and anything they might say that is perky or positive about their own dealings with the FARC falls flat. In fact, Chavez's formal statement from the government of Venezuela about the hostages reads exactly like the very same talking points that "Governor" Bill Richardson uses, presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama uses and the U.S. team of Soros-backed actors are using in public this week. Why do you suppose their comments sound exactly in lock step with Chavez's comments as if written by the same team? Why indeed.
Like Rafael Correa's cheerless and vacuous comments about the FARC hostage release this week, like Chavez, Richardson and Obama's identical vapid words for Alvaro Uribe, Sra. Kirchner of Argentina's words only commending Ingrid Betancourt's mother [ who shamefully played footsie with the FARC, Chavez and Correa for far too long] reveals much about these persons in such a human moment. Shame is about the most useful word we can use. For their criminal acts to use and abuse the FARC's victims, well documented in the Raul Reyes materials, are shameful and repulsive. Today already the propagandists, also called Swiss radio stations claiming to source FARC allies, tell us that Uribe paid millions to the FARC for the hostage release. As if Uribe himself is following the Hugo Chavez ruinous plan.
Rafael Correa cannot find it in his heart to feel real joy- or real anything- because he is too busy with his primary relationship- that of manipulating everything around him in his life. This colors all that he does and motivates and controls his entire world view. Nothing else rises above his daily task of manipulating all around him. He sees the world this way.
In fact, Correa cannot even bring himself to be honest about his own activities. We know that his is a ruined presidency based on dishonesty because Ecuador's inflation is now heading toward 20% real inflation for no reason whatsoever except that this soaring inflation indicates the corrupt and dishonest economic governance of the Correa regime. Ecuador's inflation should not exist. Indeed, there is no reason on earth for Correa's government to be bankrupt- physically and ethically but it is. Correa cannot find millions in lost government revenues and intends to issue another whopping one billion estimate in bonds to the global market. This is a criminal adventure by Correa which will leverage Ecuador's future generations to an illegal bond scam of unending and cataclysmic proportions. Ecuadoreans simply do not care about their country. They show themselves to be every bit as lazy, irresponsible and manipulative as the mirror image they see daily- the face of Correa belongs to every Ecuadorean even as the face of Hugo Chavez belongs to every Venezuelan.
It is time to clean that mirror and alter the reflection you see daily in the mirror.
And How Do We Thank Colombia? - read it here. By INVESTOR'S BUSINESS DAILY "...If Speaker Pelosi can't see her way to permit a free-trade vote in appreciation of Colombia's daring rescue of three innocent Americans, what will it take?"
We at ECrisis fully agree with the INVESTORS BUSINESS DAILY analysis regarding Colombia for its superb review of attendant facts.
We are, as always, astonished at the USA's public television, PBS, for its reliance on non actors in this remarkable rescue operation which held lives in the palms of their hands. Featured on PBS come these two men upon whom no one would depend to rescue their dog, let alone hold the lives of human beings in their hands:

Roger Noriega
Former State Department Official

Michael Shifter
Inter-American Dialogue
PBS TV notes Shifter as saying, "Unfortunately, they're essentially criminals in the service of these narcotics syndicates. They use terrorism as a matter of course in the way of doing business. But we see how Chavez is running the other way as information about his own links to these terrorist groups has come out. And so hopefully it removes this international solidarity and knocks the blocks out from under the FARC."
Michael Shifter, who has hosted FARC moll Piedad Cordoba and has engineered fraudulent abuses of U.S. taxpayer monies to support, enable and promote every known advocate of Hugo Chavez, Rafael Correa and the FARC-Hezbollah triad, knew very well what Chavez was doing long before March 1, 2008. He simply and disingenuously today wants to play to the crowds while the storm of truth telling about the FARC passes over.
Soon enough he will be back manipulating reality once again. Yes indeed Michael Shifter: the FARC are, as you say, criminal syndicates AND terrorists. Shifter's support for the FARC's reemergence as leftist politicians in the service of the George Soros clandestine drug legalization efforts is also well known. No one who is in the service of Soros and his well funded Barack Hussein Obama are in any way clean when it comes to their years of complaining, whining, debasing, creating harm to the normative acts to reinstate law and order in the Andes. So their words of commendation and support for Uribe-Bush efforts fall about as flat as Correa, Chavez's and Bill Richardson's. Indeed, like FRANCE 24, these politicos could have noted, "Southern Command gave no details on US involvement in Wednesday's rescue specifically, but released a series of figures that showed US efforts over the five years since the men were abducted. It said it conducted 3,600 intelligence, reconnaissance and surveillance sorties, devoted 35 full-time personnel to the effort and spent 250 million dollars on "direct and indirect and hostage recovery operations." But they are too busy with their own agendas and their own political lives to give credit where credit is due. For our part, we hope that the USA continues to be a steady helping hand in the Andes. To be sure, Correa, Hugo Chavez and Evo Morales have done their best to run off any sane and logical person from the Andes, stupidly lying as they do about most every detail, agreeing with Chavez that Bush is the devil.
The limousine liberal Michael Shifter, if he wanted to be credible, would apologize for his years of work criticizing the Bush-Uribe efforts to restore law and order in the Andes and return these nations to a baseline operational position of some functional integrity. Shifter, like so many of his ilk, has repeatedly urged HANDS OFF! Negotiate with Chavez and Correa and give them what they want, when they want. No one should ever ever adopt this policy nor is any government advised well that abandons its friends and allies and as is too often said and done with regard to Chavez and Correa, "thrown in the towel"- forgotten what the essentials of true diplomacy hold.
Pictured above are two men commenting on the Uribe hostage release. Neither man credited either the US team working hand in hand with Uribe nor the Israelis who contributed so much. Neither credited, as they should have, the remarkable use of the Raul Reyes materials as a road map for the intelligence teams to correctly infiltrate the FARC operations. Not one Democrat or Andean neo communist, also called populists or Bolivarians, expressed their gratitude to President Bush for his steadfast and honest support for Alvaro Uribe whose popularity today is above 90%. No- not one word of gratitude came from that Roger Noriega nor Michael Shifter and they are American citizens.
What is it about Andean denizens today who cannot utter gratitude? What is it about Americans who cannot be honest in expressing the joy and pride that the American president did what American presidents can do when they must do something or look as manipulative as the criminal denizens in the Andes?
And what is it about Rafael Correa that he cannot be honest with himself or with the public?
Here is Rafael Correa, courtesy of US AID and Soros's own paid propagandists against Colombia, called WOLA or CIPCOL relaying Rafael Correa's own words here.
And still we ask- why would anyone use their tax dollars to fashion ridiculous Mayan sun god symbols on the breast of a fake president? And why would the US tax payers believe in an unbid contract with Jimmy Carter to negotiate a crisis which does not exist except in the minds of Correa and Chavez- a crisis over their own complicity with the cartels of evil which can never be negotiated- only arrested?
"The Colombian government this week scuttled a Jimmy Carter-brokered deal to set Colombia and Ecuador back on the road to diplomatic relations...
Over the weekend, though, the agreement to renew diplomatic relations between Colombia and Ecuador collapsed when Colombian Foreign Minister Fernando Araújo said his country would hold back its diplomats in response to Correa’s “aggressive” comments published in an Argentine newspaper, Página 12, on Sunday. In the article, Correa stated that in order to reestablish full diplomatic relations with Colombia, the Colombian government would have to fully explain the March 1 raid, adding charges that the bombs used in the attack came from the United States."
This little teen ager dressed up as an adult who lives off other people's money and now other's intelligence- that is DISIP and Cuban and Iranian intelligence, so to speak, named Correa is increasingly as erratic as he is dishonest. While Ecuadoreans revere and worship all teen agers who are manipulative and dishonest and capably live off of other people's money while they could support honest adults such as Colombians currently enjoy in their adult relationships called Uribe's cabinet of honest adults, Correa- the little sun king princeling needs to go to Uribe's re hab for dishonest actors, also called retraining for supporters of crime cartels, sometimes called the FARC.
Correa himself states that the very honest adult named Uribe "is the problem." Correa, like most every adult and teen aged Ecuadorean loathes and despises productive and honest adults, to their unending shame. Uribe is no more of a problem than the Ten Commandments. Uribe simply holds up a mirror to the exceedingly disgusting Ecuadorean mind set and reveals a criminal cartel sweeping across Latin America.
But Correa exposes his criminal mind set when he attacks the USA by saying falsely of the USA, " It is the Yankee strategy: they attack from the north to the south, leave the southern border unmanned so that we must make the effort. This also infuriates us." For the uninformed among us, for your edification....the "Yankees" are what Correa cynically calls the United State of America which currently warehouses and protects his own mother, whom Rafaelito abandoned long ago to the tender mercies of the U.S. constitution which he himself is busily denigrating and enshrining inside Ecuador all that he can to be the anti-USA communist manifesto.
The June 22, 2008 Correa in his own words transcript exposes the complicity of Rafael Correa with the lions of deception and dishonesty as he says, " We are the assaulted ones ... We have a very hot border, it is good to have fluid communications. But in order to establish full relations, we are going to demand that this attack be fully clarified. The bombs were North American and, according to reports by our armed forces, they could not have been dropped from Colombian planes. It is very probable that three of the wounded, according to forensic reports, were finished off after the attacks. The Ecuadorian citizens who were killed there died from blows to the neck and not from shots or bombs."
We remind....Ecuador was not attacked, unless of course you see the world as Rafael Correa does in one being with his comrades and money men called the FARC. Correa demands that the "attack" be clarified. The attack has been detailed and clarified. Rafael Correa, like all good Ecuadoreans taught by their Mamas to be manipulative, simply refuses to be responsible, to grow up and take the facts. And the facts show that Correa needs to go to jail for his criminal complicity not only with the FARC but with Chavez's criminal cartels, sometimes called Hezbollah. We also remind the ridiculous Correa to stop lying to his people and himself: the Raul Reyes party goers on the night of March 1, 2008 died by their own hands by detonating their own land mines and killing themselves inside the multi-year, multi hectare FARC plantation intelligence hub for all things criminal, sanctioned for years inside Ecuador first by Lucio Gutierrez then by Alfredo Palacio and then- with lots of extortion monies- by Rafael Correa.
Today is Independence Day for the free. Ecuadoreans were free for decades, born of hard work. Today Ecuadoreans have abandoned their virtues to the all encompassing irresponsibilities of living life largely as dishonest men. There will be no freedoms unless and until Ecuadoreans stand up for honesty and values. If we are to praise now famous men, there are none in Ecuador today. But there are in the USA and in Colombia today and we rejoice and are glad. Well done. Well done indeed.
