Correa Selfishly Saving His Own Arm to Save the FARC:

Ecuadorean Body Politic Now Defiled and Debased.
Correa refounds his own Cold War

July 6, 2008       Rafael Correa, president of Ecuador makes presidential choices based on his personal and adolescent world view- not on what is good for Ecuador or the region or the good of mankind. His world view is so tainted by his own life's history that he can no longer think rationally nor proceed for what is in the best interests of Ecuador. In short, he is a madman intent on fulfilling his own childish vendettas against mankind and is unnaturally bent on abusing full powers to settle old scores and some very real new ones. REUTERS today reports, "Ecuadorean President Rafael Correa, a close ally of Venezuela's Hugo Chavez, has vowed to cut off his arm before allowing Washington to retain the base [in Manta] when the current lease runs out in 2009."

Correa is irrational to remove the U.S. base at Manta. It makes money for Ecuador, sustains a local economy which would be next to nothing except for criminal trans shipping cartels in the area and has assisted in saving the lives of thousands of Ecuadoreans who foolishly flee from Correa's failed state called Ecuador under the overpaid arms of illegal human traffickers, often lost in the Pacific Ocean for days with no food, no safety and facing certain death or white slavery. But Correa says he will cut off his arm before acting as a law abiding adult and before acting rationally for the good of Ecuadoreans. We take him at his word because he is now so consumed with his irrational and childish hatreds that he is incompetent and irresponsibly denying the good of the nation. This is not the moment to appease this little tyrant and his criminal regime- no indeed. Tragically, this manipulative mindset that demands appeasement by one and all in every way feels "normal" to Ecuadoreans today who are taught that acting to further one's own manipulative mindset is the highest good and that serving the common good is a joke. This immoral mindset has contributed to the death of the nation just as it has contributed to the meaninglessness of morality which today is manipulated for selfishness and never about the common good.  Ecuadoreans call this family values. And Ecuador today is a dead zone- a narcotrafficking zone. A FARC state when all the world has turned against the FARC and its attendant criminality. But Rafael Correa is still stuck exactly as he was as a  teenager to insist that drug runners, like his father, are just needing more money and that all drug dealers must be free to deal more drugs, as Correa has just opened the prison doors to all drug runners. It is past time for global leaders and their functionaries to cease enabling Rafael Correa and stop pretending that the world is made better by- what do they call the USA's pathetic and illegal strategy [not that President Bush ever once knew what his own internal team was doing- we hope he does now and reviews HOW they spend USA taxpayer monies] for dealing with Correa-? throwing in the towel, also called appeasement and surrender. It is time for Ecuadoreans to cease their malicious and unfounded self machinations and appeasement of the criminal cabal running Ecuador in to the dirt and muck.

If Correa were serious about ending his personal support- financial and political- for the FARC, he would welcome the base at Manta and he would stop blaming Alvaro Uribe for being "too principled" and "too honest." To Correa's manipulative and adolescent mindset, Uribe is the enemy and he wastes no time telling Ecuadoreans that their enemies are those who perpetuate the good. This is what manipulative addicts do: everyone around them is to blame for their own failures to grow up and be productive adults.

Sooner or later it comes down to the knowledge that the addicted to manipulation personality is dysfunctional. As with all Ecuadoreans, one can try to appease or maintain this personality but it always gets worse and always serves for the loss of integrity and the loss of true communion because the actor-manipulator has only one goal in mind and that is the management of their world as they demand selfishly against all other adult challenges which they are refusing to meet. Correa is the perfect Ecuadorean and the perfect representative of this ridiculously irresponsible world view, which has no basis in reality and is increasingly erratic while blaming everyone around instead of the selfishness of Rafael Correa for his own criminal problems.

Rafael Correa is a criminal today and a pretty stupid one.

Here is Rafael Correa sounding exactly as his own Madre taught him to sound: angry at everyone else for his own failings. He blames those around him when they are caught for common crimes, as they should be.   Correa is mad at the FARC- not because they are criminals but because....they got caught. He is mad at the FARC for it is their fault, he says, that Uribe is popular not because the FARC criminally bankrolled his election and that he is now known as supporting the losers- the FARC. Correa has some serious psychological work to do. What can come of manipulative, illogic as is his?

What we say is this: Correa is a huge problem and he needs to go away. Correa tells us that CHE would never be as stupid or as bloodthirsty as the FARC. What non history propaganda is he childishly believing? Che Guevarra was a murdering and manipulative terrorist thug who probably would have died from unchecked syphilis and diseases of his own making. Correa remains unfit to serve as president and is now a criminal co conspirator with the FARC and Hugo Chavez, who funded his ascent to power and fund his governmental teams for the illicit intelligence operatives that they are. Today Correa is paying illegally millions to some of the USA's most notorious lobbyists and propagandists to try to sell the world on his wonderfulness which is a false metaphor in a brazen attempt to pretend that his acts are clean and legal when the opposite is true.

While Ecuadoreans are taught from birth that it is fabulous to listen at key holes, listen to other people's lives and lazily watch TV all day long, we disagree and maintain that spying on other people's lives crafts a nation with a mindset like the criminal communist cartel that ran Romania for 40 years...and ran it badly we might add. No one actually likes or trusts most Romanians because their own families taught them for decades to manipulate the world around them until the point where no one liked them or trusted them or cared about them.

Contrast Ecuador today with Colombia today. Colombia has seriously cleaned up its 40 year disaster. We recall too well the common phrase from Colombians of the 1990s that kidnapping was so commonplace and that crimes against one's neighbor were so commonplace that there was nothing to be done about it. This repulsive and irresponsible cynicism cost Colombians tens of thousands of lives and essentially underscored a lost people, debauched, cynical and loathsome.

Today Colombians breathe the free air of pride from standing firm on the promise that each life is important- even the guy you do not know down the street. They have a long way to go and a lot of work ahead to sustain the progress and justly deserved pride they hold. Colombia, under Uribe, no longer makes the best the enemy of the good. But Rafael Correa does. Correa makes the best the enemy of the good and selfishly cares nothing about the inherent right to exist of every man, woman and child. To him, we are all state chattel, serfs, labor unionists and only on earth to be manipulated- by him. This is how all Ecuadoreans today are raised- to manipulate and defile mankind. We consider this an unnatural addiction and see that its effects have landed Ecuadoreans exactly where they belong: unrespected, foolish, debauched and unwelcome anywhere that they cannot buy their affection. And buy affection Ecuadoreans are now doing. As long as their credit cards hold out, Ecuadoreans are buying massive amounts of false propaganda to lie to the United States of America and lie to the Hague courts and lie to the OAS and the United Nations, not just about INTERPOL and the FARC but about its own failed state.

Instead of joining the rest of the adult globe in rejoicing over the superb rescue of Ingrid Betancourt and the 14 other FARC hostages, Rafael Correa could not and would not express any relief or happiness or joy for the others. He is incapable of doing this. Instead, he criticizes and criticizes and criticizes. Nothing is ever a happy event in its pure form unless it serves Correa's manipulative mindset. And that is the essential of selfish adolescents: it is always about them and their needs and never about the common good.  Such addictions are always the first step to evil. And while most of us never take that next step as Correa has done to actually work evil, most Ecuadoreans today are well on the path to evil and do nothing about evil because.....Ecuadoreans remain stuck inside the prisons they have built for themselves with no windows, no way out and no true happiness except what selfish self glory they seem to achieve, off the hard work of some one else or off of someone else's money. This is not freedom and this is not responsible.

Correa has said he will cut off his arm instead of standing proudly to grow law and order in Ecuador. He will sacrifice the good of the whole to maintain his selfish criminal mindset and money making cartels. Correa's selfish criminality has cast Ecuador in to the known name and function as a narcostate.

Yesterday the WALL STREET JOURNAL called U.S. Senator Jesse Helms a hero of the Cold War. Indeed he was and as such, deserves the gratitude from all freedom lovers. But Ecuadoreans are so lazy and so self absorbed in their rush to lie a lot about the glorious war of attrition being waged and paid for by Ecuadoreans to reinstall criminal cartels inside Ecuador that they cannot seem to remember that there was a time when Ecuador had advantage for its adamant place of pride by being known as a nation that generally was dependably ethical. Not any more. The shallowness and crudeness of the abandonment of all ethics- financial, corporate and governmental- has destroyed Ecuador. None could even muster an expression of thanks to Jesse Helms who was the first outside of Ecuador to demand the facts about the Peru-Ecuador Border War of 1995 and insisted that the Clinton team of Warren Christopher, Peter Romero and Luigi Einaudi-Soros pro drug men all- stop lying about the Border War and support a monitored cease fire at the border zone. Of course it took another 5 more years to end the reprehensible and criminal mindset of the Clinton team that actually paid Peru's Montesinos for years- millions of dollars- to claim to fight drugs a few days a week and run drugs a few days a week. The classic passive-aggressive diplomacy of the Clinton era did not work for Ecuador, did not work for Colombia and it surely did not work for Peru. Passive aggressive dysfunction in diplomacy, as in personal lives, always ends in abandonment of principle and is not an ethic that any should live with, much as it is the household Golden Rule today.

Ecuadoreans owe Jesse Helms and the USA a debt of gratitude today: Helms believed in Ecuador and the facts at the time when Ecuador's need was most dire in 1996.And when we now praise famous men, we also note that few have ever given Helms the credit he is justly deserving for his own quiet- and sometimes not so quiet- insistence that due diligence must always be on the table. It is a huge distinction. Indeed, it is conceivable that one could say that without Helms, Ecuador today might well be called Montesinos's Peru. Not that under the current Ecuadorean communist regime this would be a bad idea as Peruvians recommit to freedoms which they had lost in the 1980s and 1990s and which Ecuadoreans retained but today gayly abandon to serve their real goal of self deception.

By the year 2000 and 2001, Jesse Helms remained committed to truth telling even as some from his own staff worked behind his back and against his reputation to dismiss all that he stood for, happily ignoring Helms's principled positions that democracy's tools enshrining liberty's inherent freedoms must never be abandoned for the tender manipulations of political expediency, also called manipulative passive aggressive diplomacy. Jesse Helms simply did not hold that the truth and rule of law must be manipulated. But some on his staff, who appeared after the death of Admiral Nance, surely did and surely cost much momentum.

Communists abhor the USA's Helms-Burton Act of the Clinton era because this U.S. law essentially demands rule of law and accountability from Cuba.

More to the point, for U.S. law, it sets a precedent which has not yet been breeched. It is a standard- a norm and a base line law. Had Castro's Cuba and numerous criminal cartels not been so involved in dirty weapons running for the FARC and their Peruvian weapons dealers from the government of Peru in 1996-97, the Helms Burton Law would never have been written nor passed. Each man's life affects so many others if they are vibrant and engaged responsibly- or irresponsibly as the case may be. What the Cuban-FARC-cartels triangle delivered in the Clinton years created its own momentum which was clearly set on a corrective path by the Helms Burton Law among other things. And when we praise famous men, Jesse Helms must be among them. He was not a perfect person but he should be remembered by Ecuadoreans for his role supporting truth tellers. And his support was a glorious thing at such a time when Ecuador's needs were most dire.

Jesse Helms was not a perfect man as history will know him. He was correctly supportive of marriage between a man and a woman and privately enjoyed a profoundly and mutually loving marriage which was the envy of any. Helms enjoyed a true marriage of equals and he completely lived the best part of human relationships, as any who knew him will attest.  And while the liberal media made much of his supposed homophobia, Helms had on his personal staff known homosexual community actors who were never honest with Helms about their commitments even as he knew what they were doing, sad as he  became for their inherent dishonesty. And Helms was an ardent anti drug leader until the day he died because, as he often explained, drug addiction robbed one's very soul of the God-given rights to be free because narcotics always become the primary self imprisoning fact of the addict's life. Helms today would be objecting to Correa's release of all Ecuadorean drug runners. Indeed, he would be acting today to not only cancel, as would be correct, the ATPDEA free trade give away from the USA's tax payers  to appease Correa on false grounds but he would correctly state that Ecuador is today under Correa a failed narcostate and would move to remove all USA support for narcostates such as Ecuador. And Helms would be aghast that Correa is so dishonest and deplorable while hiring hordes of Barack Obama team members - liars all and Chavez-linked propagandists to sell the public a fake reality about Ecuador to insure a more perfect narcostate.

Today Ecuador is a failed narcostate. In just 6 years it has killed all vestiges of its self sustaining commitment to progress to integrity, retreating inside its fortress walls of propaganda, self delusional manipulative living and all end to progress. And if you still pretend that Ecuador is doing great, go ahead and list three things that you are truly proud that Rafael Correa has accomplished. Kicked out corrupt oligarchs you say? That is a lie perpetuated by Linda Jewell's staff. Helped the poor in Ecuador? Another lie perpetuated by Linda Jewell's staff who have listened to too many lying NGOs and rejected the data all around them. Correa has acted as a democratic leader to build liberty in Ecuador while providing for the common good you say. And as you say this, look around. You know you are a liar. The common good is gone and sanity is arrested.

Ecuador, instead of lying to itself and to the world about the progress of Colombia, could be equal to if not more productive than Colombia. The AP writes of Correa today: "We have a lot of pressure to re-establish relations with Colombia. I don't understand what they're talking about,'' Correa said in Ecuador during his weekly radio address." We ask: what is it about freedom that you do not understand? Freedom that includes being free from drug runners and their state sponsors like Correa.

A Venezuelan web site called DIPLODEMOCRACIA notes, "Bad times arrives to presidents Evo Morales, from Bolivia, and Rafael Correa, from Ecuador. The last two weeks have been ominous for the preferred disciples of Hugo Chavez. Both have reached the lowest levels of popularity since they initiated their mandates."

Cambio

CAMBIO's announcement that Correa is failing will come as a shock to most Ecuadoreans who want to pretend that there is not one single thing they can do to stop Correa's destruction of this land because they are lazy and irresponsible and to actually think that they no longer can pretend that Correa is an immovable force will shatter their self created zone of manipulation and inertia. This will also come as a stunning blow to all the US AID and attendant creepy guy George Soros-backed NGOs inside Ecuador, enhanced as they are by Chris Dodd's family pet named Linda Jewell to create an unnatural narcostate in the Andes. We remind that popularity is no measure of integrity. Often a predatory homoerotic pedophile can be seen as a popular guy before he strikes another victim so popularity is no measure of a thing at all. Yes- it is true: Correa is Chavez's disciple. Yes- it is true- he is a failure and his popularity is falling despite millions being spent illegally in Ecuador and inside the USA to boost his fake propaganda. None of this matters unless and until Ecuadoreans take the necessary steps to stop being lazy and stand for something, preferably integrity, once again. Ecuadoreans today are lying down with dogs and like dogs, are unwelcome for their fleas of disgrace. Ecuadoreans need to voluntarily enter Uribe's Rehab Centers for manipulators and FARC supporters. Better yet- start Re HAB Centers- called rebuilding your own- inside Ecuador. There is no higher calling today than to remove the incessant pestilence which has destroyed Ecuador by its choice than truth telling.

Correa's constituent assembly should never be noted as "in trouble" for its falling popularity. Correctly Correa and his show dogs should be seen for what they are: criminals acting outside any rule of law and the constitution to install a 500 plus article communist manifesto which has already been prepared by EURO REDS enshrined inside Caracas, some having been trained by STASI and Cuban intelligence. The Montecristi assembly, contrary to what US AID operatives lie to the U.S. government, is a fraud, a farce and a disgrace. There is no saving or promoting this new communist manifesto and we ardently wish the USA would cease and desist supporting this illicit and undemocratic disgrace. We are delighted that Jewell departs for her role in promoting this fraud against mankind, also called saving the poor who have of course only seen worse under their tender mercies. But what of tomorrows? The paid USA operatives belong in jail we think for their fraudulent support of this unholy criminal manifesto. We are thrilled that the OAS and Insulza no longer parrot their pro FARC pals from the Soros groups but the damage has been done and now there needs must be restoration of legitimacy, not yet on the horizon. As with the overpaid ASAMBLEISTAS, there is no excuse for what they do now as they hasten to legitimize that which should never be legitimized while creating an Ecuadorean communist cartel hell on Earth for all known subcreatures of the universe, vermin such as the FARC and Hezbollah from all corners which Correa calls welcome and we call deserving of prison.

True liberty and normative law and order will never transpire under Rafael Correa. There is no reason on earth to remain locked inside the prison of a failed state union between Ecuadoreans and the criminal mindset of Rafael Correa. There is help and there is a plan to restore democracy to Ecuador if Ecuadoreans would wake up and stop pretending that someone else will repair their nation and someone else will restore liberty. That someone else is you and the time is now. What do you support and what will you do about it?

We were reminded yesterday..."Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it." -Thomas Paine: The American Crisis, No. 4, 1777

-Pedro Camargo for ECrisis
