Reject Correa's Communist Cartel Manifesto-Constitution and VOTE NO

Correa Sells "a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery."

September 24, 2008   After many years of failing to state the facts about corruption, also called rejection of transparency- also called rejection of truth telling- the typically late and badly compromised TRANSPARENCY INTERNATIONAL could not help itself and finally had to report that Ecuador today is so badly corrupted under Rafael Correa's closed/opaque cartel government that it is rated only slightly better than the totally corrupt cartel state called Venezuela and the completely failed state called Haiti. Concurrent to the end of transparency of course follows joblessness, hopelessness and failure...because no one desires to do business with dirty, manipulative liars such as the now ousted Aristide of Haiti, Chavez and Correa, except criminals.

Correa's proposed constitution this Sunday will legalize crimes- all under the manipulative, deceptive ploy [also called fraud] that Correa is giving away new rights, new human rights- all of which are not his to give away anyway- while making Ecuador a cess pool for criminals.

Correa's so called constitution is a de facto communist manifesto for cartel runners, squaring Ecuador precisely where Correa wants it to be- failed and replicating the oh so fabulous failures in Haiti and Cuba under neo communism while tossing essential freedoms in to the grave.

Russian leaders state that their intention is to restore their primacy with Cuba, which of course owes Russia a lot of money. Hugo Chavez and Rafael Correa think this is a great idea as long as they can jigger bond markets, run drugs, welcome the FARC in a new zone and self enrich themselves and their cartel cronies while lying... a lot...about their acts. One of the funniest lies we recently heard came from the always-lying DISIP backed Larrea of Quito who wanted us to know that the Ecuadorean military once again rushed to the scene of the FARC and found their camps...empty. No FARC are arrested in Ecuador of course but Larrea keeps up his lying and offers not one scrap of evidence that he and his military do anything meaningful to fight the FARC. Indeed, Ecuador is about to legalize drugs and install a free FARC zone inside Ecuador under Correa's communism for cartels. For his part, Correa tells us that he always speaks the truth and will always use the U.S. dollar. In this, our psychopathic president Correa once more reveals his plans to stop dollarization this Spring and his constitution gives him the "right" to do anything he wants with Ecuador's currency, budgets, finances, laws and places this nation on a trajectory to disaster.

Today's LONDON TIMES writes, “Russia engages in 'gangland' diplomacy as it sends warship to the Caribbean

(Alexander Nemenov/AFP/Getty Images)   Peter the Great is armed with 20 nuclear cruise missiles and is one of the world's most formidable warships.

Russia flexed its muscles in America’s backyard yesterday as it sent one of its largest warships to join military exercises in the Caribbean. The nuclear-powered flagship Peter the Great set off for Venezuela with the submarine destroyer Admiral Chabanenko and two support vessels in the first Russian naval mission in Latin America since the end of the Cold War. `The St Andrew flag, the flag of the Russian Navy, is confidently returning to the world oceans,' Igor Dygalo, a spokesman for the Russian Navy, said. He declined to comment on Russian newspaper reports that nuclear submarines were also part of the expedition....  Peter the Great is armed with 20 nuclear cruise missiles and up to 500 surface-to-air missiles, making it one of the most formidable warships in the world. The Kremlin has courted Venezuela and Cuba as tensions with the West soared over the proposed US missile shield in Eastern Europe and the Russian invasion of Georgia last month. Vladimir Putin, the Prime Minister, said recently that Russia should `restore its position in Cuba' – the nation where deployment of Soviet nuclear missiles in 1962 brought Russia and the United States to the brink of nuclear war. Igor Sechin, the Deputy Prime Minister, made clear that Russia would challenge the US for influence in Latin America after visits to Venezuela, Nicaragua and Cuba last week. He said: `It would be wrong to talk about one nation having exclusive rights to this zone.' ”

Today's BBC news reports that Correa's team promised functional law and order for a Brazilian dam construction company to repair damaged dams and then re-nigged and seized their assets anyway: "President Rafael Correa of Ecuador has ordered troops to seize the assets of a major Brazilian construction company. The move follows a dispute over the country's second largest dam, which was built by the Odebrecht company but shut down just a year after it was opened. The government says this was due to construction faults and is demanding large sums in compensation...President Correa issued a presidential decree ordering the requisition of Odebrecht's assets and dispatching troops to take over the company's projects. A national emergency was being declared, the decree said, to recover the operational capacity of the San Francisco hydroelectric dam and to avoid internal unrest as a result of power blackouts across the country. Odebrecht's assets, amounting to around $800m (£431m), include a small regional airport, two hydro-electric plants and a rural irrigation project. Four officials of the company have been banned from leaving Ecuador. “We remind: the so called dam has not been in operation and is not a source of energy outtages at all.

Here is caducidad Correa this week- illegally seizing Brazilian assets, claiming yet one more crisis to manipulate/lie about/justify his caducidad

The BBC concludes with the understatement of the year, "Mr. Correa says the reforms will tackle political instability and make Ecuador a more just society. But critics say they will focus more power in the president's hands. " Indeed, with Correa's constitution, Ecuador will roll out the welcome mat for global criminals [ as it already has done], will shelter every miscreant and perv that ever walked- calling this helping the poor, according to now departed U.S. ambassador Linda Jewell, and will "tackle political instability" functionally by gunpoint, debarring of any political or verbal dissent and applying totalitarian controls. Just read Correa's so called constitution....wade through the so called human rights give aways- the manipulative shelter of the thing- giving human rights to dead dogs, trees, plants, dirt, guinea pigs under the rubric that these are sacred, deified polytheistic state religion venerations, and move on to the last half where al; rights to liberty are cancelled, unless of course one is a perv, a guinea pig, a FARC runner or a member of Correa's cartel of criminals spewing energy deals under the name of Allah to assuage their Iranian energy partners. JUST VOTE NO on Sunday and end this madness under Correa.

Ecuadoreans have been irresponsible for many years now, preferring to abandon anything that they cannot fully manipulate, run away and hide in the USA- following the First Mother's advice of la Madre Correa inside the USA....which is...if you are not fully in control of your lying, manipulative family which you raised to perform with the morals of dead dogs and the aberrant, honor-ending usefulness thereto consistently living off of someone else's money, run away to the USA or take a lengthy cruise vacation. If Ecuador is so wonderful, as Correa tells us, then why are so many fleeing to the USA, including his own lying, manipulative mother? If Ecuador is the fabulous communist paradise on Earth, why is there fear behind your eyes? Is it because you know that no one wants your company/your person/your counsel because your person/your family have shamefully abandoned all principles, trust and comity by endlessly and irresponsibly lying, cheating and running any morals to ground...looking as honest as Ivonne Baki and Lucio Gutierrez who are essentially debased? Is it because your own life has enabled more crime and rejection of integrity in Ecuador because....you thought you could get away with it? No one welcomes Ecuadoreans any more because they are dishonest, manipulative little deceivers and stand for even less morals than Castro. Even Ecuadoreans, like European hedge fund traders, do not want you to know who or what they have been- they are currently lying a lot to pretend that they are persons of valor, honor and integrity- victims of communism when nothing could be further from the truth because no one- no one at all- in Ecuador has stood for honesty for years now. But like hedge fund runners, in denial of their personal contribution to the end of free market banking, also called financial disasters for over leveraged speculators, the  joke in Europe today is, ""For heaven's sake, don't tell my parents that I work for a [hedge fund] City bank, they think I'm scrubbing floors in a whorehouse."

Or...` do not tell anyone that I am an Ecuadorean- my parents think my life is more virtuous as a housekeeper in a whorehouse.' As if working in a whorehouse is more virtuous than being an Ecuadorean today...because at least the whore house workers do not cravenly manipulate their realities and endlessly pretend that nothing was ever their fault, as all Ecuadoreans do today. Besides, what Brazil's Lula disingenuously derides as the failures of free market capitalism is a basic awareness that there is always of late massive runs, short selling and off the books derivatives games piled on to systems, markets and corporations right before the storm of bankruptcy is apparent. Duplicitous greed sellers have figured out long ago how to game any system, end run around laws and regulations and break all bonds of fellowship. An example is Chavez's current bets against the U.S. dollar using Canada's currency.

Rafael Correa's communist manifesto, politely called socialism or populism when it is hard communism, reminds us that Winston Churchill nailed Socialism for what it is:  "a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." Who do you believe- Correa's Madre and Hugo Chavez's paid communist infiltrators or Churchill? We will take Churchill any day of the week. Here is what the face of totalitarianism looks like:

The Aftermath - London WW II following Nazi bomb raids

We remind that this blog site here is not for scare mongering nor- what do the usual critics say, being "too strong" [as if truth telling is inherently supposed to be chock full of lies] but we say this because the facts are clear: communism and Nazi-fascism do not work and almost always leads to dysfunctional theft from others and this often leads to war like behaviors.

But Correa's so called constitution is more- much more than the meandering, confusing pretend/fake "human rights" advocacy he pretends that it is. And reviewing the text is like reading some handbook from a 1960s hippie commune, complete with love-ins, free narcotics and sex change operations [human rights they tell us.] This is a shadow of things to come in Sorosville where everything is nothing and all is manipulated, including the very moral fiber of society. Concurrently, Correa will take over all government, control taxation and subcontract Ecuador's very existence to Chavez's military and financial plans along with Iran's special form of justice- called culture building- while subcontracting Ecuador's "foreign policy" to UNASUR, also called the newest cocktail party for communists from Chile who should know better but has now revealed their infiltrations from the Foro de Sao Paulo.

Like Cuba, the only tourists who will be coming to Ecuador will be perverts, sex change persons, drug cartels and miscreants. If you agree with George Soros that religion is meaningless and that morals are irrelevant and do not apply to him and his ilk, then you will vote YES this Sunday and welcome yourself to Sorosville where everything is legal and nothing is honest. Your own mother thinks this is a great idea. We say- stay this madness and VOTE NO on Sunday.

Do not doom yourself to living in Sorosville. Like all good manipulative living habits, there is no way out...without a lot of hard work. Once you sell your soul to the high art of deceptive, manipulative living...the road back to Wellsville is very hard. There is always hope- hope that the USA will yank the dishonest Carter Center this week from lying a lot that the Correa campaign is clean this week as its illegally sells its glorious communist manifesto while blacking out any serious discussions and denying credible votes because Correa has pledged a new tool- a replica of Castro and Chavez's human vote tallies called Chavez's Tascon List. If you do not vote for Correa's constitution, he will hunt you down and you will be barred from his cartel hand outs. Instead of rejecting these vote-getting extortion rackets, the Carter Center has not even studied the perversions of democracy for which they toil mightily, abusing millions of U.S. tax dollars to help the cronies in the Soros drug legalizing teams enhance Ecuador's new FARC zone. If this be honest and accountable USA contractors, then the world needs to know what Correa and his handmaidens do here now. There are at least twelve decent men left in Ecuador- they should stand together as currently they are hanging alone.

Stay this madness. Do not vote yes on Sunday. Any YES vote is a vote to authenticate the dishonest and manipulative mindset of Ecuadoreans who can and must exhibit for once some rational thought and reject that which their irresponsibility, laziness, aversion to being of this place and time, and greed has crafted: the end of all things of and by liberty. If you vote yes- you vote to equally share in the misery of communism that by your hand or by your refusal to stand for anything but adolescent, willful manipulative selfishness, also called willful ignorance by choice, fanned by envy and greed which delivers criminality, which you deliver.

Stay this madness. Vote NO on Sunday.

-Pedro Camargo for ECrisis

    ESCLUSA: Like Venezuela, so Ecuador?
    Alejandro Pena Esclusa
Venezuelan soldier-turned-President Hugo Chavez harnessed soaring oil revenues and simmering class resentments to make himself the hub of anti-American sentiment in Latin America. But after a quick blast of popularity, he tried to consolidate and increase his power by rewriting the constitution. Fortunately, his power grab failed

Today, Mr. Chavez's close ally - President Rafael Correa of Ecuador - is traveling down the same authoritarian route. Mr. Correa's proposed new Ecuadorian constitution would grant him broad powers, including the ability to dissolve Congress, set monetary policy and stay in office through 2017.

The new constitution, approved by the Correa-dominated Constituent Assembly elected to write it, would concentrate excessive power in the president's hands and amount to his virtual coronation, according to a report by the Associated Press. The nation's voters will decide Sept. 28 whether to adopt it. While shy of the 50 percent plus one vote needed to succeed, according to recent polls, support is likely to grow as the Quito unleashes its marketing blitz on Ecuador's impoverished masses.

Sadly, none of this is new in the troubled history of Latin America. How many times have we seen the same anti-democratic moves by populist "caudillos" with the same disastrous results - abuse of power, erosion of democratic institutions, dwindling economic opportunity and rising poverty? One need only look to recent events in Venezuela and Bolivia, where similar "socialist" experiments are under way.

As with Mr. Chavez and Bolivia's Evo Morales, Mr. Correa's real aim is to stay in the presidential palace for years to come. Yet even as he seeks to increase his power and muzzle opposition, he wants to improve his image with American lawmakers because "in Washington many think that we harbor the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia [FARC], that poor [Alvaro] Uribe [Colombian president] is Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz battling the FARC by himself and that all of his neighboring countries are evil nations that cooperate with the FARC," according to statements in Agence France Press.

That's why he recently sent an official delegation to Washington, D.C., to, among other things, seek the extension of the Andean Trade Preferences Act (ATPA), and hired international PR consultants and lobbyists to help him.
Mr. Correa's high-priced public relations and lobbying team will be at pains to explain to Washington the latest actions by the Ecuadorian government, which repeatedly cracks down on liberty, justice and democracy while espousing anti-American and anti-business sentiment a la Chavez. But we ask: Why so much resolve? Why risk the future of Ecuador?
