But again we ask: why then is there fear behind your eyes- fear which comes from having no confidence that the instabilities underway give you no stability and no future because you were so easily seduced that you decided that nothing was worth standing for because....the state promised to give you everything...something for nothing. Siete países se reúnen en Caracas para conformar el Banco del Sur

Representantes de siete países suramericanos se reunieron hoy en Caracas para intentar elaborar el borrador de lo que será el acta de nacimiento del Banco del Sur, indicaron fuentes oficiales.

“Una vez que tengamos este documento, que representa el nacimiento formal del Banco, será elevado a las autoridades de cada país para que realicen las consideraciones respectivas“, dijo Eudomar Tovar, representante de Venezuela en la reunión.

Tovar, que es el secretario de la Comisión Presidencial para la Elaboración del Proyecto Constitutivo del Banco del Sur, añadió que definir ese documento permitirá “construir lo más rápido posible este proyecto de sumo interés para la región y los miembros de la Unión de Naciones Suramericanas (Unasur)”.

A la reunión, que es la décima que se realiza con ese propósito, también asistieron delegados de Argentina, Brasil, Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay y Uruguay.

Tovar recordó que el capital autorizado del Banco del Sur será de 20.000 millones de dólares y que las aportaciones serán proporcionales al tamaño de la economía de cada país.

Indicó, además, que gracias al banco “los Estados de la región no tendrán que buscar recursos en el exterior, pues podrán canalizar sus reservas para proyectos de inversión, y así la vulnerabilidad financiera será menor”.

El Banco del Sur es una vieja propuesta del presidente venezolano, Hugo Chávez, que se oficializó el 21 de febrero de 2007 cuando firmó, con el mandatario argentino, Néstor Kirchner, el memorando para su puesta en marcha.

El 8 de diciembre de 2007 se firmó en Buenos Aires el “acta fundacional” del Banco por representantes de Argentina, Brasil, Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay y Venezuela.

Soon enough you will be hearing how Correa-Chavez-Lula and Morales will help with Banco del Sur. You will hear this a lot. But $20 million is not much money these days. US AID in Ecuador wastes almost triple that amount in helping cover up Correa's cartel crimes with their fake reporting and pro Chavez propaganda, also called helping craft narcozones in the Andes to build the Soros do drugs agenda, also called the Obama presidency's position on the Andes. El Ejecutivo pedirá al Congreso norteamericano que investigue la posible participación de un avión estadounidense en el operativo colombiano del 1 de marzo contra las FARC en su territorio, detonante de una crisis diplomática, anunció el lunes el ministro de Defensa, Javier Ponce.

“Estamos buscando más bien el canal del Congreso norteamericano, porque nos parece que ellos pueden iniciar una investigación más a fondo”, afirmó el funcionario al canal Teleamazonas.

Quito reforzó en las últimas semanas las sospechas sobre la posible intervención estadounidense en el operativo que motivó la ruptura de sus relaciones diplomáticas con Bogotá.

El tema volvió al primer plano tras la reciente publicación de un informe solicitado por el gobierno, en el que se asegura que la incursión colombiana pudo contar con el apoyo de una aeronave norteamericana que estuvo en la base antidrogas de Manta (sureste), operada por militares de Estados Unidos.

Ponce reiteró los indicios en tal sentido y agregó que la investigación solicitada al Legislativo se debe “a la poca expectativa” de que Washington admita su colaboración en el operativo que dio muerte al jefe guerrillero Raúl Reyes.

Las autoridades estadounidenses han negado su participación en el ataque, mientras Bogotá -según el ministro de Defensa- “ha respondido con cinismo” a los pedidos ecuatorianos para que revele los detalles del bombardeo.

Ponce eludió referirse a una eventual ruptura de relaciones con Estados Unidos si se comprueba su apoyo directo en los hechos del 1 de marzo.

“Si se descubriera, Ecuador tendría que tomar una decisión, yo no puedo adelantar esa posición”, sostuvo.

Asimismo Ponce se hizo eco de las denuncias contenidas en un informe elaborado por un comité interinstitucional sobre una infiltración de la CIA en los servicios ecuatorianos de inteligencia.

Según Ponce, una de las conclusiones de la comisión determina que hubo tráfico de información entre Estados Unidos y autoridades de Ecuador responsables de la seguridad de la frontera colombo-ecuatoriana.

“Ellos (los estadounidenses) eran los que financiaban la compra de información, y los informes iban para ellos”, comentó.

Ministro Ponce has plenty of fellow travelers in town this week with the sole purpose of helping in this staged cover up by the government to deflect  and obscure their primary role as partners with the FARC and assist in everyway they can the fake claims for tens of billions [also called Something for Nothing] against Chevron Texaco. What the media forgets to report is that Soros's own pro FARC team with US Congresspersons are conveniently in Quito to assist in this anti USA and anti Uribe fraud and enable the obfuscation ploy. This is all about Soros and his push to legalize narcotics and craft safe havens for the FARC transport machine in Ecuador, again one more reason why Soros hates the Bush-backing counternarcotics activities, now being dismantled by the Obama team supposedly so that there will be "more diplomacy" between the lawless cartel nations of the Andes and the law abiding citizens of the USA and make room for Obama's promised social give aways, also called Something for Nothing:- throw away bits of money to the "poor"- the peasants, the easily seduced:

Why bother? the new Correa phantasm manifesto guarantees not life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness but instead free food, free housing, bad education a la Castro, free rights to sports, free abortions, free sex change operations, free money laundering, free drug running, free/paid suicide, free ridiculous state religion of non religion- a sham, free water, free rocks and free stones- sort of. But nowhere does Correa, who does not understand employment anyway, deliver one modicum of job growth- it is not wanted you know. Something for Nothing.
