Ecuadoreans Lie to United States; USA Supports Fraud

November 27, 2008   Scant attention is paid to the fact that Rafael Correa has ruined Ecuador's economy through mismanagement, lies and sensationalist head line grabbing foolishness just like some air headed chicken hyperactively running around always making matters nervous while never really doing anything meaningful or honest. That Correa as a president is a disaster is obvious. He needs to go. That Correa has dispatched his Finance Minister and team to New York city this week on a begging tour and then to convince the IDB to bail out Chavez's lost billion on Correa and Chavez's bond market manipulation which stung Chavez for a cool billion in derivatives swaps on Correa's bond debt, is beyond our imagination as to WHY anyone would bail out this fraud. Worse, Ecuadoreans seem to believe that the USA owes it to them to keep handing Correa more and more money when....no one knows what Correa does with neither this money nor the fact that his criminal cartel government is simply crafting a narcostate. Why would the USA give Correa one penny? And why would any Wall Street investor be so stupid as to invest in a criminal cartel under Correa?

An extract from an article we share below notes, "`It is becoming an increasingly obvious fact of economic history that the development of economic systems which concentrate on the common good depends on a determinate ethical system, which in turn can be born and sustained only by strong religious convictions,' the future Pope Benedict XVI said in a paper entitled "Market Economy and Ethics." He added: `Conversely, it has also become obvious that the decline of such discipline can actually cause the laws of the market to collapse.'" This is from today's Pope- not that any country club Catholic in Ecuador devoutly on his or her knees pays one lick of attention to the higher reaches of the Vatican's inspiring teachings. No -far from it. In other words, the Pope tells us that economies thrive only when organic ethics- systems of honor and integrity- are infused across all walks of life, especially our homes, our schools and the work place, which have been abandoned to the tender mercies of an ethics free zone under Soros styled aberrant norms and Cuban teachings.

Ecuador is not thriving. It has failed. It has failed because its own citizens care nothing about ethics anywhere, any time- not at work, not in government and not in their own schools or homes. It is Ecuadoreans who fail themselves by refusing to lead vibrant, ethical lives- living only for the outward show of greatness when in fact there is nothing positive going on in Ecuador at all. And it is time to turn this around.

Well, there are fools and criminals born every minute and we are sure that one cannot overlook the gravitas and sheer heft [not replicating one for the other] of Correa's Finance Ministra. And the U.S. Department of State is so easily fooled in to actually believing that members of the World Wrestling Federation are actually REAL athletes, honest wrestlers and not just for show. Hence, the ridiculous acceptance of Correa's fraud and support thereto. We hope someone blows this whistle on all these scam artists very soon.

On 11-25-08, Inside Costa Rica ran this story: "Ecuador, U.S. Begin Dialogue To Enhance Ties
Quito - U.S. and Ecuadorian government delegates began their first official meeting here Monday as part of a bilateral dialogue designed to deepen ties, the Ecuadorian Foreign Ministry said.

The aim of the first official meeting is "to set the mechanism, the procedures and chronograms of future meetings," the ministry said in a statement. Monday's meeting is the result of four previous meetings between Quito and Washington commissioners this year.
According to the ministry, this meeting will allow the teams `to set consultation mechanisms on issues of mutual interest, mainly to implement measures to promote human development and the reduction of poverty.'

Ecuador and the United States also seek to increase trade and bilateral investment, to promote cooperation and technical assistance on priority areas for Ecuador and to discuss migratory issues.

In June, the foreign ministry said `this conversation process' with the United States aimed `to reorient a bilateral relation where mutual respect and the highest national interest comes first.' Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa has insisted that his government wants to maintain friendly ties with the United States. He has expressed belief that Washington's policy toward Latin America will change when U.S. President-elect Barack Obama takes office. "

Correa says he wants to be friends with Obama. Friends like Correa- shallow and perverse- are not friends. But here is the ethically vacated hand picked "friend" of Soros- weak, lazy and chock full of a willfulness to lie and cover up:

George Soros (R) Chairman of Soros Found Management listens to Organization of American States (OAS) Secretary General Jose Miguel Insulza during The Emerging Global Financial Order seminar in La Romana November 22, 2008.

We remind that the "(R)" does not stand for Republican or right wing, which Soros is not and has in fact spent billions to defame and slander.

Soros is of course backing Insulza as president of Chile, as he has guided Insulza in some of his most profoundly dishonest acts to date such as lying to the U.S. government, under oath- also called a crime- that the FARC is only a political group and must be supported by the Chavez-Correa narcobloc of criminals enabling more international crime today. Insulza, who despises President Bush and makes open jokes in derision about Bush behind his back- thinking himself very clever- is a cheap piece of work who owes his career to Soros's own contractors and goofy, squishy socialists who actually are not building Latin economies but instead providing Soros and his ilk with cover for Soros to - what do they call it?- Buy low and sell high.  This is not a crime per se but Soros and his pantheon of goofy activists and political propagandists, now set to take over the USA's White House- do indeed support all of the worst, aberrant dysfunctional governmental substitutes of non reason for what used to be known as nascent reason. What we ask is WHY would any not simply say that seduction is not a good idea and there are better ways to sustain life.

Here is Soros in a pre scripted puff piece from Germany's SPIEGEL lying some more that he himself is overwhelmed by the current financial "panic" when in fact he is wanting you to engage in panic driven behaviors, nervously pretending that you know anything about global markets and running and hiding instead of acting like an adult:

REUTERS
George Soros has made a fortune with hedge funds. "I find the present situation dramatic and overwhelming."

Emotional flooding-being overwhelmed-  for the nervous and the weakened intellectual and ethically vacated idiots running most Andean  families today is a disease which can be turned around. Of course Soros and his cronies depend on you to be intellectually lazy. But there was a time when right meant might and men and women actually gave their all to build on the gifts they had been handed at birth:

November 22, 2008        What the stones don't say

Sometime in your life you have probably met someone who doesn't really know you or your history, can't see the good you've done and without much evidence has written you off as a bad egg. Your protests don't matter. Your contributions are flatly ignored.

Imagine that a mother ship from a more advanced civilization landed in the great forests and swamps of Europe fifteen hundred years ago. The explorers on board decided to be helpful. They established communities where they

Cut down the forests, drained swamps, invented a plough strong enough to carve the heavy soil, planted crops, improved seed, raised and improved breeds of domestic animals and raised botanicals to treat the ill.

Nursed the ill, including plague victims, at the risk of their lives, set bones and established the first hospitals.

Taught young children to read and preserved and copied books.

Carried no weapons and established sanctuaries where no weapons were ever to be drawn or used.

Established the first hotels - clean, safe and inexpensive - for travelers across Europe.

Cared for those in need and provided sanctuaries for women.

Created centres for community celebrations.

Sponsored the experimental work of scientists and supported the great universities. (The 12th - 13th century British Science Timeline is interesting in this regard.)

Attempted to teach a philosophy of human dignity, responsibility and love.

Worked to establish a system of justice that would protect the innocent.

Centuries later, after many of these things had been achieved, the mother ship flew away, and all memory of her vanished. Some, greedy for wealth, destroyed the stone sanctuaries, took their land and spread stories that the men and women who had built them were selfish, superstitious and corrupt. Others denied that the builders had made any contributions. Many others simply never knew. They were taught about mistakes and vices, but never about the builders' virtues.

As you've guessed, monks and nuns and lay Christians made these contributions. The stones cannot speak of them."

This then was the accurate and historic foundations of Western Civilization. It did not come from some fake notion of uber religiosity called Pachamama. It did come with a lot of hard work and a commitment to functional justice and freedom teaching education. It did not come from shallow, empty rhetoric spewed by lazy, statist systems, also called communism. Clearly Western history is full of fabulous examples of remarkably bold steps toward progress- real progress, not the current genre of fake progress. Wednesday's INVESTORS BUSINESS DAILY reports, " `Capitalism begins with giving,' George Gilder declared in "Wealth and Poverty," the 1981 book often described as the Reagan administration bible. `Not from greed, avarice or even self-love can one expect the rewards of commerce, but from a spirit closely akin to altruism. . . . The investor must give his money, offer his goods, freely, depending on the voluntary willingness of others to respond with creative efforts of their own.' Gilder insists that `faith in the providence of God' is `essential to successful capitalism,' and he argues that `we need religious beliefs' because `they tell us that free humans with faith in the future and a commitment to it will prevail.' Four years after Gilder wrote that, Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, then-prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, expressed a similar sentiment at a symposium in Rome devoted to "Church and Economy in Dialogue." `It is becoming an increasingly obvious fact of economic history that the development of economic systems which concentrate on the common good depends on a determinate ethical system, which in turn can be born and sustained only by strong religious convictions,' the future Pope Benedict XVI said in a paper entitled "Market Economy and Ethics." He added: `Conversely, it has also become obvious that the decline of such discipline can actually cause the laws of the market to collapse.'

Contrast the loser Rafael Correa, who has lied his way to the presidency and lies a lot to stay there, with the head of Czechoslovakia, who turned his nation from a failed Soviet basket case living off Moscow's tit in to a vibrant and proud nation where unemployment is almost nil and the per capita income is over $24,000 a year through his refusal to lead his nation in to the waiting arms of the state socialist ruin any more. Here also from INVESTORS BUSINESS DAILY is such a man. Contrast his progress to a parallel leader Correa and you get the point of what you could have had but instead enjoyed the comfort of temerity, shallow ethics and failed convictions. Ecuador got Correa who is a failure. To be sure, Ecuadoreans like to blame the USA for handing Correa millions of US dollars in support- both political and statist communist propaganda, which is of course a disgusting effort by the USA. Can you imagine if the USA had backed one- just one Latin leader besides Uribe such as Vaclav Klaus instead of backing the current crop of criminal cartel runners? What a difference this would make. We cannot anticipate that under Barack Hussein Obama that this will improve because already Obama's minions have been dispersing the policy word across the Southern Hemisphere that Obama will support them and never ever consider that their rogue regimes are disgusting and untenably corrupt. So the USA is signaling that it will turn a blind eye as Latins reform their Maginot Line of corrupt, failed states under Soros to protect and defend their narcostate cartels as liberty dies. In contrast, review this:

Leadership: Far from an effete welfare statist, the EU's next president is a bold free-market advocate who suffers neither fools nor the usual Euro-nonsense. In short, just what the doctored ordered for a sclerotic continent.

It's just November but Europeans and even some Americans are already trembling at the prospect of Czech Republic President Vaclav Klaus taking over as the symbolic head of the European Union on Jan. 1.

Czech President Vaclav Klaus won't mix well with Brussels bureaucrats.

"Oh God, Vaclav Klaus," Austrian daily Die Presse fretted on behalf of change-resistant central planners. The New York Times senses "palpable fear" that "Klaus will embarrass the world's biggest trading bloc and complicate its efforts to address the economic crisis and expand its powers."

But this is nothing new. In 2003, Arie Oostlander, a Dutch member of the European Parliament, lamented that "the worst thing that the Czechs could have done was to elect to the presidency a follower of Margaret Thatcher."

Yet Klaus, a student of the great F.A. Hayek and Milton Friedman, is exactly the sort of leader that Europe has to have. The liberty-minded defender of free markets has the opportunity to rock the continent out of its self-inflicted economic malaise.

What he'll be able to achieve in six short months of organizing and chairing meetings of the European Council is uncertain. But the fact that he's feared by advocates of the status quo indicates he will make things uncomfortable for them and their static world.

A self-described EU dissident (he was happy that the Lisbon Treaty that would have created a de facto European constitution was rejected by voters), Klaus will at least bring some new thought to the stale, idea-challenged continent. For too long, its leading nations have stumbled along with soft socialist systems that have shown themselves to be unsustainable.

Unlike his critics, Klaus has some experience in reviving a mundane economy. After helping the former Czechoslovakia peacefully split into the Czech Republic and Slovakia in 1993 while serving as prime minister, he took the Republic from the depths of a former Soviet economy to where, according to the CIA, it is now considered "one of the most stable and prosperous of the post-Communist states of Central and Eastern Europe."

The Czech Republic's healthy per capita GDP of $24,500 far outpaces that of Ukraine, which has moved in almost the exact opposite direction. Stalled market reforms and some retrenchment of Soviet socialism in the most important satellite have driven the per capita GDP there down to $7,000.

Under Klaus' guidance, the Czech Republic became the first post-communist nation to be given an investment-grade credit rating by international credit institutions. Unemployment has been kept low and productivity is running high. This, from a state-owned economy in which the private sector produced a mere 3% of the national income in 1989.

More recently, Klaus has turned his attention to global warming, believing the environmental movement has become an assault on freedom, and to regulation, too much of which, he says, caused today's financial crisis.

These ideas won't make him popular in Brussels, but they could make a positive difference if a few EU nabobs considered their soundness.

Harsh criticism of Klaus is based not only on what he believes but with how much conviction he believes it. A New York Times story earlier this week noted a Communist secret police report that described him as an arrogant man who "feels like a rejected genius" and believes that "whomever does not agree with his views is stupid and incompetent."

Europe — and the world — need more defenders of liberty and the free market who think that way. Heaven knows, too many dismissive and obstinate leaders with leftist agendas have condemned tens of millions to lives of misery and quite often agonizing death.

Another way to say this is....Latin America — and the world — need more defenders of liberty and the free market who think that way. Heaven knows, too many dismissive and obstinate leaders with leftist agendas have condemned tens of millions to lives of misery and quite often agonizing death.

Ask yourself again: what have you done lately to secure Ecuador's future, which today is non existent? Did you pretend that Correa's bond market manipulations and derivatives swaps money making deals with Hugo Chavez were just all right because you would have done the same thing if you had the chance and also because it is a great idea to stiff anyone- any how- on Wall Street of billions of dollars because everyone knows that the USA is rich and Ecuador just needs a piece of that money for Correa's cartel state where nothing is legal or accountable but you believe that doing nothing will help you get some of that money too? And did you stay closely watching if the Inter American Development Bank will make Correa a gift of one billion dollars so that he can refund Chavez's lost derivatives swaps deal on Correa's dirty bonds which Chavez holds, hidden behind Correa' tactical maneuver to declare debt  illegitimate and horrifying to human rights? What about the human rights on Wall Street that investors and traders must not jigger and falsify investments? No- you care nothing for essential integrity. Neither it seems does the USA diplomats nor the IDB, which is another day's story on the effects of criminal mind sets to enable massive bond and investment fraud, all of whom should be held accountable and revealed for their assistance in Andean racketeering.

You condemn yourself and millions around you to misery and quite often agonizing death by pretending that there is nothing you can do or say that will restore ethics in your daily life. STOP saying that just because everyone else around you is a criminal and has nothing to contribute to daily life that you do not either. Stand up and do something positive for once. Defend liberty...neither Soros nor Insulza nor Correa nor Chavez nor Obama will do this for you. The Russians and Iranians will not do this for you. Stop acting like a little kid and assume that you can be lazy while you wait for some new leader to do what you need to do.

Grow up and stand for freedom. Leftist agendas, sold by Soros, lead to ruinous lives in misery and more often death, just as Soros sold his fellow Jews in Hungary to the Nazis for money and certain death, he continues selling evil. Insulza sold his soul to Soros, so too did Obama and over 1/2 of the US people. It is a Faustian Bargain- now at bargain basement prices for your soul is not worth much because you have not strengthened your beliefs. But you alone can decide to deal with the devil and sell your own soul through shallow, irresponsible, adolescent manipulative living in your home and work place [such as it is these days] or you can work to have and hold the promise of liberty...but you will always have to chose. Whose blessings do you want? The blessings of freedom or the false faith you hold that whining, lying and manipulating will get you everything?  Do you give thanks that Correa is dishonest and has ruined Ecuador, making it the laughingstock of the world or do you give thanks everyday that God has endowed you with gifts that you do freely use for the good of all?

EL COMERCIO today reminds Ecuadoreans that some good thinkers in Argentina's media have proven that the head of Rafael Correa's so called Debt Report is a criminal. And indeed this scam artist is a criminal, besides enabling Correa to steal from others from his fake state justification of theft ploys. Former Minister Pozo has single handedly and with great courage shown valor of late to denounce Correa's phony debt Report. The USA could have denounced Correa's fake debt report but oh no- the USA wants the IDB to gift more money to boost Correa's state fraud. Ecuadoreans could have known, as we have known, that the author of its so called Debt Report is a criminal but oh no- they sit around and act lazy and let others shamefully do their work of truth telling for them. What we do not know is WHY Ecuadoreans run away fast from telling the truth, preferring instead to shutter their values and pretend that it is all right to debase human values. Correa wants you to know that he has hired whole armies of USA paid propagandists and cheesy lawyers to attack anyone who questions his state theft ploys. The US Embassy in Quito, itself acting as criminal accomplices for Correa's cartel state crimes, will one day cease their aberrant behaviors leaving all Ecuadorean Mamas with no one to blame for false piety and fake ethics...but where the blame really belongs- on themselves.

So far, Correa is lying to the ALBA group about how the IDB thus far in what we hope remains a firm commitment to seminal integrity, refused to make a fake loan to Correa to bail out Chavez's derivatives gambles. For this, Correa and Chavez, in Caracas are screaming this morning that the IDB must die, the USA evil empire must go and that the ALBA bank for criminals and liars will serve uber alles. Story developing: Correa exposing his unwillingness to be honest or....what did he call it on Monday: be friends with Barack Hussein Obama? Friends like Correa are ruinous cheats and deceivers. If Obama enthuses about Correa, we will know what his morals remain. If the IDB for once stood for honest banking, we will praise their behaviors for its seminal act to uphold its very Charter while seemingly asking Correa IF he so enjoys refusing to pay Ecuador's debt, what benefits would integrity garner by adding more dishonest behavior to the long list of Correa's dishonest acts? Why would the IDB protect and defend criminal activities, bailing them out to soothe even more financial fraud? And if Correa and Chavez continue to lie, steal, cheat, manipulate banks and global finance as they do, we all know what to do: stand against criminal fraud, extortion, racketeering and communist narcobloc cartels.

Never will you see any honest media declare that Rafael Correa is the "Right Man, Right Job, Right Time." For he is not honest in any thing and he needs to go. He is the wrong man doing a horrible, manipulative job at this time when integrity is desperately needed to rebuild Ecuador.

As for Correa's fake propaganda, also called the unhelpful cartel aiding news media, that he is gloriously building close friendships with the USA because Barack Hussein Obama will be president and thus turn a blind eye on the Andean narcobloc of racketeering scams, we care nothing at all about the Correa-Obama projections of a Latin love fest. We know that love between manipulative persons is not love.

-Pedro Camargo for ECrisis
