General Assumption: Correa Running Iranian Money and Installing Iranian Weapons
December 14, 2008 ECrisis knows that this is a pretty inflammatory headline. We however have heard it enough times to say: show us the proof that this is not true.
When it is mentioned at all, the international media has simply said that Correa bought up bonds from others- almost a billion worth.
It was said that this went through a bank in Ecuador. what it should have said is that Correa used a bank- his own bank which he illegally seized and is using for his own dirty little banking out of Banco de Pacifico, now owned by Correa, for buying and selling bonds and of course money laundering.
Here are two in Guayaquil who did not stand in rapt attention as Correa's motorcade of zils- aka presidential motorcade zoomed by....they are hauled off to jail with no due process:

And without so much as a by your leave or any in depth follow up questions whatsoever, Ecuador's media simply accepts the garbage from Correa's mouth and adoringly never once asks the follow up question nor ponders the rasher of lies, propaganda and misleading statements from Correa; Here is a primary example:
Visita a Irán
There- feel better? We just brought you what in your life substitutes for reality: more manipulations. Feel better? Yes of course. You no longer feel normal without your shameful daily dose of more and more manipulations. You have no idea what to do any more when someone hands you the truth and you run back to woshipping the inept, half truths and the manipulative lies. You just got some whoppers so you should feel quite at home by now. Of course you had no intention of speaking truth to power anyway so it is so easy now to listen to Correa's lies and blame everyone else but yourself.
The poor schlubbs yesterday, mentioned above, survived not because Correa's puppets nor his kangaroo courts performed one iota of honest work. They survived because the rule of the mob was not going to watch more innocent people hauled off in Correa's hell holes. But Correa cares nothing and will not doubt tell us all soon that this is the Will of the People- Pachamama told him to do these things.
Correa says that he and Patino have protected Ecuador's money. What have they done? Moreover, from Correa who has never once been honest- why would you believe him? Rolled their stolen gains in to Iranian banks using their own Banco Pacifico? Or....is it just un some woebegone Belgian bank? Ask.
In the meantime your government is not your partner. The government of Ecuador is a manipulative mess and has brought you to your knees as its greatest enabler. You are now nothing but a babysitter for an addict to manipulative government and life run by manipulators. It will get you discredited, diseased, disavowed, distanced, dishonest and....disabled. Co-enabling manipulators always does.
