January 8, 2009  Hugo Chavez has bankrupted Venezuela and is not capable of finding international financial support for his political adventures. Chavez has decided however to continue paying the unscrupulous Joe Kennedy for playing the Chavez promotional game in the USA called oil for propaganda. Chavez and his advisors have not yet realized that ol' Joe and his self enriching pals, claiming to "help the poor" are helping their own wallets for hire. The fact is this" Joe's scam for Chavez is a PR stunt for Chavez's off the books gas shipments. We would also remind that the "poor" in the USA have certifiable charities for energy needs such as Catholic Charities which good ol' Joe fails to credit and ignores at his self promotional and self enriching peril.
 
Hugo Chavez is now addicted to his Buying Friends with real money plan. Chavez, we believe, will go right on squeezing the already debased Venezuelan public for his systemic hand outs to dirty actors because....Chavez is addicted to manipulative adoration- to buying friends. Chavez is broke but he will go on funding all manner of goofy propaganda ploys like Kennedy's scam and funding great dysfunction, such as Evo Morales and Rafael Correa because Chavez is in the business of overlording a new criminal cartel in the Andes and intends to go right on ruinously building his offensive governance grid. Ecuadoreans know the value of buying affection also and seriously maintain that this is the only way to have friends and hold affection. We disagree. But Correa is like Chavez because neither can sustain any support for their ridiculously incompetent ploys without bribes and cash pay outs. And pathetic Andean sods take their money and chirpily sell their souls, believing as all cult followers that they have the exceptional right to benefit from Something for Nothing. ECrisis has been writing about this phenomenon for months- born of irresponsible and easily seduced Ecuadoreans who stand for nothing and deserve even less, certainly not respect which of course not one Ecuadorean today has nor holds and justifiably.
 
Like Chavez, Correa has bankrupted Ecuador. No one has a clue where Ecuador's money has gone or why. No one has a clue how to jump start Correa's ruinous government or how to rebuild financial infrastructure growth. To be sure, some few have a general idea but have been easily overcome by the attractions of inertia, inactivity and bribery-for-corrupt-acts under Correa. Just take a real look at Correa's cartel cronies- his Cabinet. Feel better now and more confident that Correa's cult followers are real adults with real experience? Of course you do. You believe all their deceptive and irresponsible canard. But Correa's team are incompetent, have zero credibility because nothing they do is verifiable nor honest,  and have no clue what to do to rebuild Ecuador from the disaster they alone created while busily raiding Ecuadorean monies and stealing from businesses.
 
INVESTORS BUSINESS DAILY's blog shows what a sucker, a naive client Chavez is. Here is Joe Kennedy promising Chavez a deal with Obama, for what we can only imagine, as long as Chavez throws some dirty, heavy crude Kennedy's way so he can, as he does, make millions a year trading Chavez's dirty oil.

Joe Kennedy got his Venezuelan oil back from Hugo Chavez, who cut it off Monday. Apparently, it was an awfully big PR disaster. More to the point, Joe made it clear that he talked to Hugo 'personally' and offered him Obama in exchange for the cheap heating oil. Or more likely, he warned him he wouldn't get access to Obama without paying up front in Oil-4-Joe first. The statements Kennedy makes are not so veiled in their implications, they shill for Chavez to an extent unseen in the past, and clearly signal a political pro quo. This is really getting disgusting.
 
We agree- these cheap trash cartel actors....are disgusting and disturbingly dishonest and they all believe that Obama can easily be bent to their leftist, dirty will. In fact, it is starting to look like Obama is still up for sale and that anyone who is his pal wears a new lapel pin that says: I Buy and Sell America to the highest racketeer. And here is what Chavez and Correa's new best friends really want...so before you continue pretending that your new partner Iran is holy, study their new cinema:

The CAF, which is not a responsible development fund, is almost as bad. A wholly disreputable slush fund for Andean region profligates, the CAF is not an honest regional fund for it bears no resemblance to anything but a slush fund- soon to be headed by the vapid Banco de Guayaquil chief, is surreal in its non-banking, non-transparent give aways, which they call banking but is not, to fools such as Correa to repay Chavez's derivatives bets against USA oil ppb at a cool one billion. Chavez and Correa have been running a nifty little bond market and oil derivatives scam for a very long time. What we still do not know is who is handling Correa's trades and Chavez's derivatives bets but we have a very very good idea besides Barclays which seems omnipresently partnered in any talks about Chavez's derivatives losses. The elevation of Banco de Guayaquil, the preferred banker for the U.S. Embassy team of Correa drug cartel builders, appears to be rewarded for his kind assistance to cover the Correa-Chavez derivatives market scam and for his behind the scenes support for the CAF illegally gifting Correa one billion so he could make Chavez's derivatives fees from their mutual and very illegal scheme, which they call "sovereign" and we call criminal.

In the United States, we see the socialist surge, also called US company bailouts which are really federal gifts to flawed companies. Ecuadoreans under Correa see their tax dollars flushed away daily. No one knows what or where Correa is doing nor what he steals from or for. We all know is that Correa steals a lot. Correa makes wild eyed excuses for his incompetence and blames all around him for his own failings, recusing himself from any adult responsibility. Ecuadoreans revere this foolishness and call this Family Values. We call it dishonest.
