Democracy Surrenders in Ecuador
January 28, 2009 As all Ecuadorean MaMas teach us, there is great virtue in abandoning hope and surrendering all virtues....as long as there is a steady paycheck. The non - virtues held by all Ecuadoreans assists their willfully craven addiction to manipulative life- life which mandates the ethos to "confuse, abuse, divide and conquer." This is replicated in all political life in Ecuador as in all homes.
The so called wall of the honorable Opposition to Correa's communism, visually known as the EL CIOPPO political operatives blessedly telling us last night that Banco de Guayaquil's pet candidate Guillermo Lasso will not run, supposedly his doctor ordered him to retreat. But the damage has been done. These masters of stubborn, willful Ecuadorean irresponsibility have splintered not only the good will of the public with their greed and addiction to game playing but have abandoned the greater good. We are positive that their wives and mothers are thrilled at their complicity and duplicity to abandon all values for....expediency. We can think of a lot of ugly names to call them instead.
Here is Luis Fernando Torres, an honest man, considering a solitary bid to defeat Correa without the back room gamesmanship of Lasso and El Cioppo, whom he neither needs, should be tainted by their always confused and never well informed "leadership" of lemmings and for lemmings.
We wish Torres well and hope he can recoup. Otherwise, there is not one iota of opposition left in the collapsed state of Ecuador. It is not a democracy by its own self defeating duplicity, advantage to the criminally corrupt Correa who intends to rule Ecuador for another generation of fools. Listen to Torres on this here.
The days in Ecuador are dark. The clouds have gathered to seal its fate for another decade as a Cuban dictatorship under true evil. Faced with no support, no supplies, no money and no future, the USA's George Washington braved a dark and frozen Delaware River to overcome the paid paramilitary hired by England in the USA's war for independence. With no food, no shoes, no coats and no fuel, these men set out with nothing but the knowledge that this was a moment when they had to do something....or die. As such, myths and stories reverberate about these brave and desperate men shown here:
Luis Fernando Torres faces in Ecuador no less of a crossing of his own Rubicon.... an Ecuador divided by dishonesty and greed and laziness against itself.
He crosses a nation of self serving idiots who stubbornly refuse to do anything to better themselves, abandoning all of life's commitments to growth. This is of course a death in and of itself, self imprisoning all Ecuadoreans by their choice in to a one dimensional future hell with no liberties and no way out. Torres has never had a bigger challenge. We hope he rallies and garners strength. We know he has a strong religious faith- he will need this and he will need a battery of truth tellers, unafraid to step out of their lazy, self absorbed life, busy manipulating everyone around them. It is time to cross that river of internecine duplicity and defeat Correa's criminal cartel.
The conservative political parties- and all political parties in Ecuador- have waved the white flag of surrender....to the forces of evil. What would have happened if George Washington had waved the white flag of surrender and lost his faith and his willingness to put his person on the line to advance freedom?
