February 17, 2009         ECrisis reminds of these words by Thomas Jefferson because governments, such as Rafael Correa's of Ecuador, that take your money, have no notion of what they have done with your money and do not act wisely or for the common good leave you decidedly unfree. Make no mistake about it: Correa will not and has not been honest about what he has been doing with Ecuadorean monies nor his global reputation as a steal and waste president. Correa is not wise and his days are measured by a rampant, hyperactive adolescent regime plan which is always dishonest, always negative and maneuvers to keep you and me constantly in a state of nervousness and chattering foolishness while not once ever delivering positive returns. You are not free in Ecuador but under Correa's unwise corrupt cartel, you are free to suffer and die by criminals all around you with no protection and certainly nothing remotely like equal protection under any law...unless you are  a criminal involved with Correa's cabal or Correa protected money launderers, bond market liars, or oil derivatives agents of greed.

Although Ecuadoreans today want to pretend that their nation is bettered by the systemic and organic global knowledge that state theft is wonderful, most humans still alive instinctively know that Ecuador under Correa is a nation in disgrace and with no moral compass. This is known due to the essential acts by Correa and his cabinet. This is also known by every Ecuadorean when their persons become known- they reveal their national characteristics of narcissistic and addictive dishonesty, looking more and more like HAMAS parading its global extortion rackets rather than as Catholics.  Never willing to engage in self introspection- always on the hyperactive move- Ecuadoreans have failed to figure out that just as soon as Correa runs out of idiotic companies and families to steal from, he will come for you next. Missing the point on why theft, crime and unethical government is a really dumb idea grows the capability that you will be next in this place where lawlessness lives...because you let lawlessness grow.
 
Here now is CHEVRON TEXACO finally getting around to ignoring the ridiculous and losing advice of the disastrous US ambassador Kinney and ambassador Jewell who for years in the U.S. Embassy in Quito and followed the lazy and incompetent non-Republican Party years of Latin advice under the non Republican times of Roger Noriega of the USA who was -what do they call it-? a Log Cabin Republican whose primary concern was always himself and not the greater good even as he worked for the government of Ecuador after being dismissed from the US government under then president Bush. Laziness and irresponsible dishonesty as a foreign policy never works and with regard to Ecuador has sustained this jealous mistress of malfeasance called a government that lies to everyone.
 
CHEVRON at last is doing what it could have and responsibly should have done years ago to justify factual reporting to its own Board of Directors and its shareholders to whom it holds a legal obligation to be honest, never mind that the US Department of State and the US Democrats want Chevron to shut up and never ever state the facts about Ecuador. No one with a sane mind would chose planned malfeasance and shareholder dishonesty under the US Department of State's corporate ruination plan over the baseline US law that transparency and fact based reporting is the obligation of a corporate entity. So it is welcome to read CHEVRON's report- at last- that the government of Ecuador is staging a grand and specious theft of Chevron's assets intending to seize something for nothing.
 
We know this is difficult for Chevron. They have been locked inside some of the most irresponsible and stupid lawyers from Ecuador for too many years. Chevron is fighting a machine- a political machine- which insists that communism and lawlessness is fabulous while rule of law is kicked out, as has been the case in Ecuador since about the year 2005 if anyone chose to be honest which....no one did. Indeed the operative word was always to pretend that matters in Ecuador were democratic and law abiding when matters in Ecuador for the last five years have been lawless and ethically vacated.
 
Make no mistake  about it: CHEVRON is absolutely correct in this report on the craven abuse of power by the Correa cartel to manipulate all justice in Ecuador even as it spends millions to propaganda companies, concurrently working for hedge and derivatives funds along with multiple clients such as the George Soros families of propagandists and US Democratic Party machinations including several HATE campaigns such as the Hate the Jews and Hate the USA and now Hate the Vatican efforts, and spends millions on lobbyists to lie a lot to the U.S. government, notably its Congress in order to help build what the U.S. Democratic Party of Soros seeks: a narcozone in the Andes under their preferred idiots named Evo Morales, Rafael Correa and Hugo Chavez. It is a true report by CHEVRON here: there is no justice in this small town in the jungle under one badly uneducated judge who himself practices SHARIA law thanks to his HEZBOLLAH cult leaders. CHEVRON has no justice- no justice at all- in Ecuador under the code of Pachamama and Sharia law...lawless and utterly committed to anti-rule of law behaviors and hateful manipulations of US entities. It is long past time for CHEVRON to cease applauding the very souls who will cause their own bankruptcy and demise and set about to seriously tell the truth or announce now that they will be bankrupt in 2 years, thanks to the juggernaut of the combined cartel governments called the Andean non state communists and their supporters from across the USA such as now president Obama, enjoined by the FARC friends named Nancy Pelosi and Jim McGovern of the US Congress, whose very support of the lying and disgraced so called Ecuadorean claimants empowered the Correa team to expand their illicit money grab based on fake justice and non facts.  
 
CHEVRON is finally telling the truth although no one- no one at all for too many years advised this corporation to be honest about what is occurring and why in Ecuador. CHEVRON faces an uphill battle and suffers from some of the most pathetically incompetent advisors. CHEVRON does appear to be on the road to correcting its past strategy and does now seem to be on the start up road to beginning to tell the truth. In this we wish them Godspeed...they will need it.
 
As with the ridiculously dishonest waste of time and money in Venezuela to portray its nation as democratically imbued, nothing furthers in Ecuador under Correa as long as the essential dishonesty about Correa's total control over all levers of government remains....dishonest. There is no justice and no honesty out of Ecuador and the sooner that CHEVRON starts to state these facts is the sooner that CHEVRON is being honest with its shareholders and itself. That CHEVRON has played in to the hands of the addicted to manipulative living ethics has served it badly and sadly for too many years, pretending that as a company honesty and the facts matter nothing and believing the utter garbage that Correa could somehow be "negotiated sensibly" with when Correa in all things is neither sensible nor reasonable from the first day he came to power. As a corporation, CHEVRON failed itself and failed its shareholders for too many years by its ridiculous refusal to be honest about Correa's state theft and his state support for liars, burglars, propagandists and dishonest lobbyists across all the Americas today. Acting like an Ecuadorean as Chevron has been doing has gotten them nowhere except a failed strategy and a penchant for bankruptcy brought on by their own refusal to be honest about what lies underneath. CHEVRON's only crime in all this is not what Ecuador claims they have done for they have not. CHEVRON's crime is in its own stupidity to act like Ecuadoreans and refusing until now to begin to be honest about what is happening in Ecuador. And what is happening in Ecuador is an astroturffed and phony cartel zone where no honesty and only manipulative dishonesty is in play. There is no justice- no justice at all for CHEVRON inside Ecuador. This is also true for every living creature that comes in to contact with the virulent contagion called living the dishonest Ecuadorean ethic of dishonesty.
 
ECrisis commends CHEVRON for its virginal entreaty at being honest about the failure of integrity, a lesson it should have learned long ago regarding Venezuela and its overwhelming support for Barack Hussein Obama who in fact has acted to jigger Ecuadorean justice in favor of Ecuador's theft from CHEVRON TEXACO. This company needs to grow up and learn that ethics are not to be parsed out but instead wholly applied. But our point is today to welcome their reporting -at  last. To be sure, it is too little and too late due to the profound and shocking support for Correa's narcostate from the likes of the USA's Pelosi, Reid, Engle, president Obama and McGovern who are stubbornly ignoring the facts about Ecuador in order to assist in building the narcoregion called the Andes where alternative justice, alternative norms and their new alternative democracy thrives. This is not new and it is not democracy. It is however criminal and it is past time to insist that U.S Democratic leadership such as  Pelosi, Reid, McGovern, Delahunt, Engle and all the Soros NGOs from the U.S. Department of State cease and desist enabling criminal cartels in the Andes, also called aiding and abetting criminals. CHEVRON is no victim here as it has too long enabled their US political dishonesty also called criminal abetting of crime in the Andes and does now find itself a victim of its own stupid choice to co-fund US politicians who have not been honest nor have they assisted any truth telling about CHEVRON and Ecuador. Indeed, they have enabled more crime in the Andes. We say: join the club, CHEVRON and understand that even as Ecuador kicked out other decent efforts and companies from Ecuador, you did nothing and said nothing, stupidly believing as all good Ecuadoreans do that you alone could manipulate justice until....they came for you. All Ecuadoreans are today screwed for decades because they stood by silently and did nothing until Correa locked them also inside their own Cuban gulag where quality of life is meaningless and justice removed. This is what Ecuadoreans wanted and this is what CHEVRON got by its refusal for too long to stand on the side of active integrity. We welcome their entree to the world of common sense although we note that an entire change of strategy to increase truth telling for CHEVRON is deeply needed or they will lose their entire company. This is a seminal lesson.....by giving up a little bit of one's soul in a Faustian Bargain, one always faces the day when the entire soul is seen as being sold out and that very soul is debauched. CHEVRON will have to work very hard to reinstate its moral high ground. We are not convinced that its Board of Directors sees this ruination as of yet but we hope that they are restoring integrity in all matters for if not, CHEVRON will be completely bankrupt in a few years.
 
What CHEVRON does deserve is to have their head examined by truth tellers for they have routinely let themselves down. Following the incompetent and woefully dishonest ploy- a scam of the first order- that Hugo Chavez and Rafael Correa are democracies and that these democracies have rule of law and justice, CHEVRON has acted under the dishonest strictures of the NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR DEMOCRACY's liars and pretended that there will be true justice and honesty in these lands as long as the USA keeps pouring more money in to lying a lot that integrity lives in these lands when it does not. There is not and has not been one single chance that fair play and ethical votes occur in Ecuador and Venezuela for years now. To pretend that this is so is to enable more crime.

Here is a superb analysis which centrally notes, "Chávez controlled all aspects of the electoral process, ordered up favorable TV coverage and mobilized government institutions ..." The same is true in Ecuador and to ignore what this means is continual fraud. What this means is that democracy and justice do not live in these dark places now called Ecuador and Venezuela. What we also know is that the soul of evil and the face of evil embrace Ecuador and embrace Venezuela now....and call them comrades. What we also know is that the very thing that embraces Venezuela and Ecuador- and gifts it with unearned status and USA monies is a dishonest juggernaut to further these nations' narcoterrorizing and their destabilizing oil derivatives bets which more than the so called housing mortgage scam of the US Democrats incubated a global financial panic of trillions on lost oil derivatives bets engineered by the now embracing friends of Correa and Chavez, sometimes called the face of Latin diplomacy.  To pretend that democracy and justice lives there is to perpetuate the rampant crime that does live there.
 
For its part, the utterly vacuous and incompetent Obama-George Soros White House and US Democratic Party team is misguided on the virtues of manipulative and dishonest living in the Andes which remains not embraceable and certainly nothing to climb in to bed with. The JOURNAL writes that Chavez is courting president Obama. This is of course wrong. Chavez is not courting Obama- he already has him in bed with Chavez and Correa because of the monies pouring in to these lands from the Obama team and the stunning enabling of the Chavez-Correa team by the Obama team which has existed for years and is now at its apex. That bed is already crowded with manipulative addicts such as the currently membership driving leaders from Iran who sell more converts through cult behaviors such as polygamy and bigamy [stupidly called Sharia law]  and the Soros NGO teams currently selling hatred of all that is good- also called euthanasia, socialist-communist unionism, anti Semitism and free abortions just so you feel good about your own soul-dead state... a statism of manipulative and dishonest ethics.

The London Telegraph more correctly writes here of the perils of state extortion rackets, now called Polo Democratico and which we call illegal extortion rackets pretending to be democracies... learning the hard way "that Red rhetoric does not feed people, in the era of a troubled globalised economy, and that putting a disproportionate percentage of the population on the state payroll produces the same results as in the Soviet Union..."

As CHEVRON seems to know now, you go home from the dance with the one who brought you. CHEVRON started this dance under TEXACO at a time when partial rule of law existed in Ecuador, such as it was then but utterly revoked under today's cartel clowns and thugs in Ecuador. Rule of law does not exist in these nations called Venezuela and Ecuador any more and to pretend that it does is the height of folly, corporate irresponsibility and dishonest governmental analysis which enables more crime. The US government spent millions enabling the removal of rule of law in the Andes to help build alternative non-justice and alternative, fake democracies which exist today. The US government continues to pour good money down the rat hole of communism in Ecuador and Venezuela whose very constitutions and pre rigged elections reveal the apex of USA rejection of democracy to systemically and structurally enhance non justice.

CHEVRON now experiences what happens when one goes home from the dance with dishonest suitors and climbs in the back seat with cartel rackets. We hope they get a divorce soon from their bigamous and dishonest partners in crime and find justice somewhere for their corporation from the specious charges against them. Then again, we hope that lady Justice will smile on all Ecuadoreans and Venezuelans and all who have tried to do business there and have experienced the same rape of lady Justice as CHEVRON knows now. While it is true that liberals are liberal populists and socialists until their daughter is raped, we see that CHEVRON has been raped by the dirty hands of this cartel cabal and while no one deserves rape, it is long past time to denounce these rapists. And act to stop them. It begins with truth telling. It would not hurt to demand that Barack Hussein Obama revoke his shameful justice tampering statement against CHEVRON to enable more lawlessness from Correa's team...this would not be a bad place to begin. Otherwise, the cards remain stacked against CHEVRON. And while they are at it, have a care that this corporation is not shorted by the unseen hand of evil to bring that entity down as payback for even questioning the rape of the Andes. If CHEVRON is to win, they were best served by actually following Jefferson's words and themselves act to be frugal [and stop throwing good money after stupid dishonest lawyers and failed strategies] and wise [and at last honest about this ongoing rape] which may yet gift them with freedom under law.

Daniel Duquenal writes of Venezuela today, "As I have chronicled in my blog, Venezuelan citizens knew exactly the style of government they were going to validate with their vote today. Thus, the country has accepted Chavez’s blackmail, threats, and bribery. History tells us that when elections are won on such principles the end result is never good. Which leaves us to ask: what’s next for Venezuela?  There is reason for fear. Chavez already controls all branches of power in the state, including a docile judiciary that only produces decisions that favor his policies or politics." Make no mistake about it: Ecuador is a replica of this crime spree from Venezuela and no one has any serenity, security, stability or freedom in these lands run by dishonest buffoons who are in fact baboons for wider criminal cartels.  Who do you validate by your actions today? More importantly, when will you stop lying to yourself and to the world that what you validate matters nothing because it matters very much.

And if you are still feeling that soothing habit that somehow you can manipulate your way out of this disaster which you alone created by running away and vacating your personal ethics, you will find some refreshing hints here to counter the pathetic claim by NEWSWEEK Magazine that thanks to the U.S. Democratic Party of George Soros and his president named Obama, we are "all socialists now" acting as the very slime that now covers the Andes.

Once again at ECrisis we urge you to stand up for your God-given gifts of liberty... or they do come for you next. Here too is a superb analysis on why it is folly, as is the current vogue, to declare that manipulative leaders are Lincoln-esque. Above all else, Lincoln's place in history and in heaven is known by the company he kept and the active faith in what God has gifted all mankind. Men are truly known by the company they keep. Who would you rather "keep company" with- Correa, Morales and Chavez or the superb Lincoln? Make your choice. We hope you unite to defend and grow liberty. In Ecuador no one has done this even as all have run away, pretending they do not have the tools or the time from their hyperactive days doing nothing.
