Only Intelligent Men Tell the Truth: Manipulators Run & Hide
April 7, 2009 For far too long we have been told that capitalism is evil and that only communism will save your mortal soul. This is a lie of course. For far too long you have lied to yourself that only Rafael Correa will save Ecuador by his lies, his manipulations and his utter failure to lead Ecuador toward progress. For far too long paid operatives have been strolling happily across your history telling you that Ecuador must convert to a cartel state in order to "help the poor." Millions have been spent lying to Ecuadoreans. This needs to stop now.
No one- no one at all- should be fooled that the dishonest ploys of Rafael Correa as president of Ecuador have not caused great great harm to the capacity of Ecuadoreans to have and hold a decent, secure job- for that is the problem. All focus should be on building Ecuador's economy legally, fairly and with an eye toward stability- not in stealing from every outsider that they can.
You want a job that is not a state welfare hand out? Is that the best way to help your family? Answer that question carefully before you vote this April because Correa is killing the private jobs in Ecuador that he cannot illegally extort or control for a pay off. There is not enough money in the universe to pay off every citizen in Ecuador or anywhere else. Jobs- real jobs do that. Bearing in mind that evil comes when persons of conscience refuse to act of their consciences in order to conform with the ridiculous so called enabling of evil, we are reminded of the perils of totalitarianism by the following article which quotes George Orwell. Orwell, whose latest interest is sparked by readers such as Mexico's Calderon, should be required reading in Ecuador and all of Latin America, but as with all great books of Western Civilization [which Ecuadoreans claim to be a member thereto but lazily refuse to be an active member or know their own histories] we see again and again how irresponsible our own families and schools remain, failing to prepare each and every one with a well informed, inquiring mind. This is a denial of one of the greatest gifts on Earth: the right to question, to study and be cognizant based on the basics. No one in Ecuador any more is prepared for anything....except Spanish language soap operas and the garbage each recycles daily. Orwell was right: We have sunk to such a depth that the restatement of the obvious has become the first duty of intelligent men. Only the truth and its telling will set you free. Here is a superb analysis of the lay of the lands:
Aid Keeps Latin America Poor
For real progress, they need the means to accumulate wealth.
Here too is a notice which resonates because there is real power to the truth:
Acusan expertos a Venezuela, Ecuador y Bolivia de truncar la democracia
And while we ponder the take over of Western Civilization by the high minds of liars such as Hugo Chavez, know that Europe itself is under a siege of its own making: confusion:
We can't allow Strasbourg to lay down the law
For our part, we see that quality of life mirrors the quality of even handed justice. Even handed justice does not exist nor reside anywhere today in Ecuador. Quality of life does indeed suffer and nowhere can citizens run to for protection.... except to Correa's protection rackets- for a fee. You think this is a good thing? We do not.
