April 25, 2009   ECrisis often states that one of the problems of the population at large in Ecuador is the vast dearth of really educated persons who build a better society. They simply do not exist any more in Ecuador and prefer to pretend that being childish, irresponsible, anti Semitic and genetically adept at blaming everyone around them for their own problems while doing absolutely not one thing to better their world. We are long past pointing out this national psychosis which makes many about as unwelcome as a skunk at a garden party and about as worthless as counterfeit money, which many also move around. Regardless- it is to Ecuadoreans to stop pretending their shallow and false piety and start acting with some serious integrity. We are waiting.
 
Meanwhile, Rafael Correa is about to be crudely and badly re elected in a seemingly unending downward spiral in to willful, voluntary self imprisonment by all Ecuadoreans who today follow the identical pattern of all co-enablers, which is to make the best the enemy of the good.
 
Here is a link to an older piece: "Understanding Obama: The Making of a Fuehrer" urging all sane nations to have public records on psychiatric and health exams for all presidents before they are sworn in so that one may know in advance  how lazy, how manipulative and how narcissistic one's life time partner will be, in Correa's case- the maximo leader. Notice the definable narcissistic and destructive tendencies- quite he parallel between the three amigos of socialism: Correa, Chavez and Obama. All enjoy Marxists and all have confluent psychiatric issues and all have aberrant, hate selling father figures: Obama's is Soros and Correa-Chavez have Castro/Che. None should be revered although they are.
 
For our part, we are not medical doctors and so cannot know a medical diagnosis of Correa, Chavez and Obama as narcissists. We do know that addicted personalities feel very comfortable with these narcissists because....it feels normal- they feel at home. We do not. We know that narcissists always hurt freedoms and truth telling to satisfy their interminable need to control and manipulate. Narcissist manipulators should not be presidents and they are not leaders and they create a lot of dishonesty. Their plan is not a plan you can believe in, unless you enjoy being lazy and selfish and guided by dishonorable credos.

We do think a full medical review is not a bad idea. But we know enough about Correa to know that he is a manipulative liar, a thief from his own people and is a drug king pin. Why a majority thinks that this is a good thing is a reflection on.... them –that majority- and how they think, how they are raised and their level of cognitive decision making, currently reflecting a no-show on any scale.

Honoring power and gifting rights of power because it is expedient is dishonest and dishonorable. Stop doing it. You can have a better life- just work for it, with honor and integrity which you will never have with manipulative adolescents whose only care is....themselves and their greed no matter how many times they tell us they are helping the poor. We all know better.
