June 9, 2009    Rafael Correa as president of Ecuador has set his sights on hurting legitimate banks and merging his dirty banking with not only Chavez's ALBA banking empire but the full control of what clean banks remain in Ecuador for his own profits.
 
Here are two reports of Correa's efforts to stop anti-money laundering.....his own crimes and trying to hide his own personal offshore money laundering....in the USA: his secretary and relative with huge deposits, and  ecuadorian state owned bank in Miami being brought to court.  
 
And worse yet, Correa continues his double speak to lie a lot to Ecuador and the world that what was known as definable democracy is  now to be manipulated in to some bizarre double speak called new or alternative democracy,  as reported here by Mary O’Grady, "…Ecuador's foreign minister captured the spirit of the regime's apologists when he told the gathering that Marxist-Leninist ideology is compatible with democracy. To this we say that we knew all along that Jose Miguel Insulza, always a Soros-Allende mouth organ and a weak sister at that, is a wimp. Not anything but an operative for his higher calling- to install Soros-backed girlie girl socialism for some and offshore speculations for the self enriching few, the dishonest communist cartel betting club. Insulza is a disgrace and needs to go.

But Insulza was not alone at the San Pedro Sula OAS confab- not one American so called diplomat got up and walked out nor expressed revulsion as applause grew to reclaim Cuba in to the OAS embrace.

To be sure, Cuba is not a democracy. But the USA, fresh from calling the War on Terror as not existing any more, disgraced itself by joining the Greek chorus of idiots.

The caveat of course remains the demands that Cuba reform itself.... sort of. We say that as long as the Castros live and have their being from spying and creating mayhem called dishonest living and communism by repression, we want no part of their cruel dictatorships now expanding.  Small men with small apparatus for growth in any honest way do embrace the Cuban model. Dishonest manipulators love Castro, Chavez and Correa. Good men know that Chavez and Correa and Morales are duplicitous and now.... evil bumbling burglars. Throw the bums out.
