Stay This Madness!

August 26, 2009 Venezuela's Hugo Chavez, scrambling for his daily fix from willing fix-givers- aka his own uneducated public- declares "“Those seven military bases are a declaration of war.” Bloomberg  writes, "Presidents from 12 Latin American nations meet in Argentina this week to try to defuse tensions over the agreement that would allow the U.S. access to seven military bases in Colombia. The U.S. and Colombia say the agreement is designed to help Colombia fight drug trafficking."

Correa and Chavez rattle their sabers and blame the USA for the FARC's abject and stunning terrorism. Stop blaming everyone else is a good motto:

Of course Rafael Correa is churning out the pro FARC propaganda himself and feeding even more lies about himself and his criminal marriage with the FARC and Iran. Do these ridiculous excuses for so called elected presidents from Latin America seriously believe that U.S. military desk job holders constitute a threat to their highly vaulted but now debased sovereignity? Has no one ever read the actual U.S.-Colombian agreement- available for free to anyone? Someone?

At least former OAS ambassador Blasco Peñaherrera has the decency to speak up on Correa's state money making with the FARC- before God and country here.

Correa has decried the so called Plan Colombia for many years and has refused to consider what the real facts remain, as if the facts never matter. Then again, that is Correa's style of leadership- insist that the facts do not matter and go on manipulating the truth. Get rid of this liar, we say because his criminal cartel has been lying for years now. And if you still believe- vainly- that Correa is a good and honorable fellow, know that sincerely good and honorable persons keep trying to help Ecuadoreans have and hold the facts while assisting in the spread- not end- of freedom. Ros-Lehtinen Comments on Correa Trip to Cuba, Meeting with Castro

(WASHINGTON) - U.S. Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), Ranking Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, commented today on the trip to Cuba by Ecuador’s Rafael Correa, where he met with Fidel Castro.  Statement by Ros-Lehtinen:

“Having just adopted Castro’s tactic of forming ‘revolutionary’ committees to spy on and intimidate dissenters, one must wonder what further guidance Correa is seeking from the Cuban tyrant.

“The ALBA gang – led by Castro and Hugo Chavez and joined by Correa, Ortega, and Morales – is working overtime to stamp out any spark of democracy in the region, particularly after Zelaya, one of their own, was prevented from carrying out ALBA’s repressive agenda in Honduras.

“We do not know what marching orders Correa received from Castro.  We do know that these enemies of freedom will not rest until they have successfully reversed the Hemisphere’s democratic momentum.  It is incumbent upon responsible democratic nations to push back and thwart ALBA’s assault.”

Note:  This is Correa’s second visit this year to Cuba.  During his first trip in January, he met with Raul Castro.

A delegation of foreign ministers from member nations of the Organization of American States (OAS) is visiting Honduras starting today to review the situation there.

As we know today, the so called OAS delegation did not insert Honduran Zelaya back in to Honduras because Zelaya broke international and domestic laws and remains.... a fugitive from justice. The OAS is a disgrace...now serving the Chavez interests, currently enjoying the falsity/the unfounded rumor that Obama of the USA will extradite to Chavez's tender non-justice Posada Carriles. Obama of the USA seems to forget that he does not exist to serve the Cuban Interest Section or Correa or Chavez, his brothers in criminal cartel building: And no human exists to serve the cartel state:

We Do Not Exist To Serve The State

We at ECrisis do understand that Chavez is malevolent and wants the FARC running Colombia as his partner:

Venezuela Prepares for Break in Ties With Colombia, Chavez Says

And while Chavez, Morales, Mahmoud, Correa and Castro are not lined up to embarrass themselves or their nations by lying, as they do, in front of the UN this year, Libya's Gadhafi is still slated to appear immediately following Barack Obama in his virgin voyage. Things are not going so well for either:

Was the Lockerbie release bad diplomacy, or good business?

We at ECrisis agree:

A people that values its privileges above its principles will soon lose both.  DDE
