Loud Voices and Bullying

August 28, 2009  Braying jack asses bellow and carry on. Bullies, always unformed adolescents, bellow and bray and never say much of anything that is useful. They hold our attention because we let them and they proceed apace, idiots as they are, because we let them. Here is UNASUR braying like jack asses over nothing, pretending that it is far better to help the FARC than stop the FARC:

South America Summit to Assail U.S.-Colombia Military Accord

Notably missing in this entire menu are... the facts. Uribe is said to deliver them soon but the tragedy remains that he should not be the only messenger of data. Here is why Correa hates Uribe and anyone else who is a truth teller:

"No strongly centralized political organization feels altogether happy with individuals who combine independence, a free imagination, and a formidable strength of character with stubborn faith and a single-minded, unchanging view of the public and private good."  -Isaiah Berlin on Winston Churchill

Why is Correa, like so many incompetent actors in Ecuador, gifted by some status of  faux /undeserved privilege that shields him  from the consequences of his actions and further  acts as a double-edge sword by ensuring that he also never learns from the mistakes he didn't suffer from.  This is called enabling. This is why Correa remains because you let him.

Like Fidel Castro, U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy remained in suspended adolescence for most of his 47 years in the elected office. Rafael Correa and Hugo Chavez, complete adolescents, will do the same because you let them and protect them from ever growing up and facing the real consequences of their actions. This is of course the cherished Correa way: never grow up.

As the American Spectator wrote today about Ted Kennedy, "Insulated by the consequences of his behavior, Kennedy was also shielded from the consequences of his policies. He was the champion of busing who kept his own children far from the public schools; an advocate of publicly funded campaigns who bankrolled his political career with his family's shadowy financing; an icon of feminists who used women like Kleenex, serially harassed members of the opposite sex, and spent ten hours attempting to rescue his political career as he denied the young women suffocating in an air pocket in his Oldsmobile professional rescue attempts; and the primary booster of socialized medicine who assembled a dream team of neurosurgeons to consult on his treatment for brain cancer. The proverbial limousine liberal was made real in Trustfund Ted."

Like Correa, immature persons try to justify their lives with some sort of persona, Correa, like the Kennedy family, tells us that he exists only to serve the poor. This is a lie. Correa exists to install communist-Marxist foolishness which he knows gives him power.

Like ALBA, the goal of all socialist movements is the nationalization of the "means of production, distribution, and exchange," so that all economic activity is manipulated under some opaque and vaguely comprehensive plan toward some implausible ideal of social justice...The great change that has occurred during the last decade is that socialism in this strict sense of a particular method of achieving social justice has collapsed. Communism of course delivers no human rights.

The following article has the right of it. Freaks- they are all lawless freaks whose attention comes from the prurient, like a cheap porn show...how outrageous can these shallow men- despots all- becomes to feed the unending narcissism? We say: end the enabling of the narcissists:

The Age Of The Celebrity Tyrant

“…No longer. With regime change off the table, and President Obama dishing out "mutual respect" faster than the rulers of Tehran, Tripoli, Pyongyang or Caracas can spit their contempt right back in his face, tyrants are becoming ever more weirdly trendy. They are globalized, in our face, on the Web, on television--and as New York braces for the September opening of the United Nations General Assembly, some of them, with considerable ceremony, are coming to town….” Read it here.

Freaks. Correa, Chavez, Gadhafi, Kim Jong Il, Mahmoud, Ortega, Morales- they are all freaks. They live by their costumes for their life is a hollow and empty as a soap opera.... for circus clowns. You let them. Turn off the show and tell these freaks to grow up and get a real day job.
