Does Correa Protect Your Inalienable Rights? Makarov Cocktails Shaken, Not Stirred

September 20, 2009  Does president Correa protect what God alone gave you and what no one but God can take away from you? No- he does not. Indeed, he will not even countenance singing Ecuador's national anthem which at least evokes honor, charity and unity of defensible purpose. No- Correa wants your personal freedoms gone. He calls this "responsible." We call this.... a lie. Here is a quick list of rights, all of which Correa gives lip service to but refuses to defend:

The right to habeas corpus and to trial by jury
The right not to be fined excessively or punished cruelly
The right to be silent under interrogation
The right to the privacy of your house, free of government searches—‘your home is your castle’
The right to petition your government
The right not to have soldiers quartered in your house [or their electronic militarized devices]
    The right to bear arms.

You may think you have rights under Correa, but you have nothing. Fools abandon  their right to free speech and evil-doers act as if this is a good thing. Without free speech, you will never have even handed justice and your life will have no value because you are value-less except as some worker drone for some failed state business, now being taken over by Hezbollah operatives who are hungry. Correa's sister has been jetting around the USA of late, bragging openly that she alone is open for business, she tells any idiot who is near her that she is making lots of money for her family cartel, and that money making for her is going great, gifted of course by the losers from the U.S. Department of State who actually believe that Ecuador, a criminal communist cartel today, will be wonderful if Sra. Correa succeeds in implanting new "green" technology. As anyone with a brain knows, unless and until Ecuador even takes the next step to install mufflers on trucks, busses and cars, the diesel fumes will continue to overcome the region, short of clean oxygen as it is. Correa cannot blame the USA or capitalism for this failure to do the basics and have mufflers on vehicles. But while his sister is bragging to anyone who will listen that she and her family are making illegal monies hand over fist, our favorite sub creature of California, la Madre de Correa says she is tending her baby boy Rafaelito in Cuba. Never mind that rumors swirl about her little Rafaelito and why, if she is a citizen of the USA as she says she is- having escaped her own complicity with the Shining Path who probably killed her husband to silence him- not suicide- fled to the protective courtesies of the USA where she has never once done one thing to grow the nation that she benefits from. As a serious narcissistic liar. La Madre de Correa is a disgrace, likely a money launderer for her criminal children and now is a purveyor of more lies, claiming that Cuba can better help her son's health than can the USA. Of course she is....a known liar. And we ask again: would you seriously want Cuban medicine over the USA's doctors? We would take Quito's doctors any day over Castro's idiots. And because Correa is driving out all professionals from Ecuador by his own disgrace, he of course seeks medical care elsewhere. For out part, we suggest a full disclosure of the shady goings on with Correa. By this we do not mean the rumors that Rafael Correa's arranged bride from Belgium has finally had it with her bi sexual husband. No- we do not traffic in rumors such as this or the current one that Rafaelito is in a three way with Alexis Mira and prosecutor Pesantez, his long term live in friend.  No- we deal with the facts and the facts are this: Correa, Mira and  Pesantez have formed a tight knit control group of manipulators and thugs with all the morals of a gay man's bath house. And that....is a fact.

Besides, while you are reviewing what Correa was doing in Havana this part week, ask him openly- it is your right- precisely how many meetings he held with Raul and the Russians over their growth industry: spying, installing Russo-Iranian technology, weapons and soon....more nukes. Ask him. Do not expect a clean answer from Mrs. Correa's baby boy, trained by her... to be a liar, a narcissist and a manipulative S.O.B. But....you could try. You can also note that Russia's uber-cartel developer Makarov departed about the same time Correa did as well. ALBA and UNASUR grows and the U.S. Department of State continues to pour money in to Ecuador to help Correa and Soros grow their nasty little cartel nation now. You can stop this if you chose.

But you must choose. You can chose to act like EL CHIOPPO and take Correa's extortion money which he gifts to far too many with threat of ending Ecuadorean governmental contracts. You can take Correa's excuses and lies or you can be an adult for once in your lazy life and study the facts, for without them you are simply one of Correa's punching bags, puppets and fools. You can be like Cesar Montufar and tell us you are worried about the state of Ecuadorean democracy, which does not exist and has not existed for over three years. But Cesar, with all the honesty of a gay man's bath house, is now bought and sold. He "serves" democracy in Ecuador with his new paid day job- Correa's illegal and ridiculously incompetent non-Congress which acts like a Congress but is not, rubber stamping all of Correa's nasty little dictatorial presidential decrees. Cesar tells us oh no! This could be bad! But he plays with them and takes your money inside a non functioning, fake democracy. He has been bought and is sold. You can stop Correa's fake government if you chose.

From England comes this astute appraisal of rights of man protected by Constitutional law, which is the only reason that constitutions exist:      http://www.britsattheirbest.com

In Praise of Constitutions
What are a country's guiding principles and organization and will they secure the unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? A country's constitution is one answer to that question.
The US Constitution was adopted today in 1787 by the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, and after intense discussion was ratified by conventions in each state. It can fairly be said that it would never have existed without the British - sometimes called the English - Constitution, which was its main inspiration. (Future US President John Adams called the British Constitution "the greatest fabric of invention in human history".)

The structure of the oak tree is a visual sketch of the British and US Constitutions. Each constitution has three branches of government—the legislature (Parliament or Congress), the executive (the Sovereign or President) and the judiciary (courts of justice under common law). These powers are meant to balance each other. Without that balance, the tree is unstable.

Just law is the supporting trunk that carries nourishment to all the branches. The roots of the Constitution are the people. The earth is their birthright of freedom. The people and their freedom nourish the Constitution, and are nourished by it.

The written and unwritten elements of the British Constitution that contribute to this structure and defend the people's liberties include -
1. Common Law
2. The Coronation Oath
3. Magna Carta
4. Parliament
5. The Declaration of Right
6. Unwritten customs and traditions
In 1792 James Madison moved mountains—in this case, the US Congress—to amend the US Constitution with the promised Bill of Rights.
Many of these rights had been fought for in Britain over the course of a thousand years and were part of the British Constitution—
The right to habeas corpus and to trial by jury
The right not to be fined excessively or punished cruelly
The right to be silent under interrogation
The right to the privacy of your house, free of government searches—‘your home is your castle’
The right to petition your government
The right not to have soldiers quartered in your house
The right to bear arms.

These rights were made part of the first ten amendments to the US Constitution, the US Bill of Rights.

Several significant rights were added, including freedom of religion. The last amendment in the Bill of Rights wisely reserved all the powers not specifically delegated to the federal government to the states or the people. They had good reason for this. They understood the creeping menace of centralized power and the strength and creativity of decentralized, local government and free people.

Thomas Jefferson explained that under Article I, Section 8, Congress does not have unlimited powers to provide for the general welfare, but [is] restrained to those specifically enumerated.

The current US Government is trampling on this principle. In doing so it is trampling on the creativity of the American people and putting their future at risk.

Current and previous British Governments have attacked the people's constitution by introducing poison.

By poison we mean the European Union. Its undemocratic power and immense wealth - taken from British and European peoples in the form of taxes and tariffs - is used to suborn the British people's independence and overwhelm them with an avalanche of laws.
Today both Constitutions are under attack, but both Constitutions have been attacked before. They will survive if we defend them.

As for Chevron Texaco and its ridiculous so called legal case in Ecuador which is not a legal case but a Tar Baby at the side of the road, this news caught our attention:

Chevron files motion to annul in Ecuador
Published: Sept. 14, 2009 at 12:32 PM

SAN RAMON, Calif., Sept. 14 (UPI) -- Lawyers for Chevron Corp. filed a motion in Ecuadorian courts to annul all rulings made by a judge involved in a $3 million scheme against the company.

Chevron says it has evidence showing a judge involved in a lawsuit against the supermajor, Juan Nunez, was involved in bribes with prosecutors.

"Judge Nunez is biased and has engaged in improper behavior while presiding over this case," said Chevron in its annulment filing.
Its evidence in the case also show representatives allegedly from the Alianza PAIS ruling party in Ecuador seeking $3 million in bribes in exchange for environmental remediation contracts following the verdict.

Chevron further contends that environmental reports filed by Richard Cabrera, a mining engineer with no apparent experience in the oil sector, were invalid. Chevron says Cabrera conducted no water samples, inflated remediation costs and made unsubstantiated cancer claims in an environmental lawsuit against the company in Lago Agrio.

Charles James, executive vice president at Chevron, said he welcomed a decision by the prosecutor general to open a formal investigation into the claims.

"We hope that his investigation will be thorough, independent and transparent, and that he makes his findings public," he said recently.

While we applaud Chevron Texaco for formally demanding that all of our favorite Hezbollah, Shari'a law wanna-be Judge Nunez, himself busy playing the victim card, and his rasher of criminal decisions against Chevron Texaco be removed, we note once more the utter stupidity of Chevron for seeking justice in a place and in a time where, thanks to Correa and his Soros cartel of criminals, there is no justice. Thanks to Barack Hussein Obama, the USA refuses to be honest about Ecuador, painting itself as an accomplice to crime. And thanks to the sheer vapidity and the utter laziness of almost all Latin Americans, no one- no one at all- gets up and asks the USA's Tom Shannon what the heck he thinks is so important and useful about abandoning Ecuador to the craven mercies of the Chavez cartel bloc. How is that working out for U.S. businesses? Well, the fact is this- U.S. businesses despise Correa and consider the U.S. Department of State as part of the problem for its failings to ever ever be honest. Like Poland, the Czech Republic, Colombia, Honduras, Panama and on and on, unless and until one is inside the Soros yoke of idiots operating with the distinct morals of gay men's bath houses or by the hour girls, no nation that is decent is rewarded by this team of debauched cretins. But we have all seen the end of this story... Soros loses, Bema loses, Chavez and Correa will lose if and only if someone- anyone- regains their manhood in Quito. This is not helping.

Ecuador pretends that law and order and real time democracy cannot be theirs because....they cannot afford it. They cannot accomplish this because a) they hate the USA or b) they do not have real USA help to actually reform Ecuador, all US monies in general actually going to install Soros's mirror image cartel bloc now. We say: this is ridiculous...is more excuse making.
Inspire yourself, as CAFE HAYEK suggests, as in " chapter V of On Liberty, John Stuart Mill eloquently explained one important reason for Americans today to oppose any further centralization of power in Washington:

The third, and most cogent reason for restricting the interference of government, is the great evil of adding unnecessarily to its power. Every function superadded to those already exercised by the government, causes its influence over hopes and fears to be more widely diffused, and converts, more and more, the active and ambitious part of the public into hangers-on of the government, or of some party which aims at becoming the government. If the roads, the railways, the banks, the insurance offices, the great joint-stock companies, the universities, and the public charities, were all of them branches of the government: if, in addition, the municipal corporations and local boards, with all that now devolves on them, became departments of the central administration; if the employés of all these different enterprises were appointed and paid by the government, and looked to the government for every rise in life; not all the freedom of the press and popular constitution of the legislature would make this or any other country free otherwise than in name. And the evil would be greater, the more efficiently and scientifically the administrative machinery was constructed—the more skilful the arrangements for obtaining the best qualified hands and heads with which to work it."

Chevron Texaco, instead of stupidly pretending that Correa's intime Pesantez will actually have or hold some clean review of its own, itself a farcical non-event, should instead make a roster of how many Ecuadoreans Pesantez is illegally extorting, bribing, threatening with death and jail, has destroyed, has stolen their businesses and future work capacity....to better bribe all Ecuadoreans or extort or simply.... expand Correa's favorite cottage industry which is called RACKETEERING, which is what these criminals do. They racketeer. They kill your rights. They steal and they destroy your future. And you let them by pretending that the only bad actor in Correa's paradise is Gustavo Larrea. . You do not have to be stupid and you know, as we know, that Larrea does not act alone.  One fine day you will stand up for the facts. But first you have to assemble your facts, verify them and move out. Independent forensic audits are due on every part of Correa's cartel now. You think you have a future in Correa’s Ecuador? You are lying to yourself. Correa's mother has a future in Ecuador. The Russo-Iranian axis of evil has a future in Ecuador but you.... you do not because you chose to have no future in Ecuador. You chose to be lazy. You chose to lie to yourself and those around you. You can grow up and be honest. We hope you do.

And what will Correa's intimate Pesantez do? Bring in Oscar Arias to arbitrate the $30 billion case against Chevron which is more a death sentence for the intellectual fire power of the third largest American company to not take the necessary steps about Ecuador and Barack Obama's dear chum, Steven Donziger and their US Democratic party operatives, called Friends of the FARC and George Soros. Instead they stick themselves, like Joel Chandler Harris's own Tar Baby story, to the tar....a fake pretense that Ecuador and Obama's paid team in Ecuador will magically gift justice uber alles in Quito. What delusional non-think this portrays should concern Chevron's share holders immediately. And what will Obama do-? Treat Chevron like... Wachovia Bank when the chips are down? We think there is a better way.

That way is called justice based on independent forensic audits of Correa-land and all that he has done against the USA and Chevron.

More to the point:

JOURNALISM IN THE AMERICAS

Ecuador's National Assembly to debate controversial media bill

The journalist and government-allied lawmaker Rolando Panchana planned to present a draft media law this week, which according to the constitution must be approved by Oct. 14, Radio Sucre and El Universo report.

The bill seeks to increase control over content—including editorials—published by public and private media outlets, Reuters adds.

The proposal is supported by President Rafael Correa’s administration, which has been in constant conflict with the media, El Comercio explains.

“What I’ve stressed, is that there will never be censorship, but we will demand responsibility for what one says. There isn’t liberty without responsibility,” Correa said Saturday in a radio address.

It must be said that to  the ones whose version of the facts is always less than half, it is clever of Correa to shut off all open media and free speech, calling this "responsible.." And they will give him this right...the criminal right to kill off that which was never his to kill off. The shame in all this is the half-assed excuses, enabling, justifications.

You have just taken your God-filled soul and filled it with self delusions, excuses and more life-ending machinations. There is a better way. And while you are at it, stop telling us that just because Hillary Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama, in order to help Chavez, Correa and George Soros grow their narco-cartel called UNASUR-ALBA did nothing to help Honduras and hurts Honduras that there is nothing that freedom-loving Ecuadoreans can do now because.... Soros wants to grow ALBA-UNASUR. This is but one more self delusional excuse. Did someone- anyone- from Ecuador raise one finger to help Honduras while its needs were most dire? Anyone? Of course not. All were busy patting themselves on the back that laziness is next to godliness. Show some back bone. Repair your own internal skeleton- strengthen truth telling. We promise you that you will feel better. We promise you that integrity feels great. Besides, Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Obama have indeed suffered badly for their criminal  enabling of the Soros-Correa- Chavez bloc in Honduras. Their loss of integrity has broken what could have been a mighty political plank and left their efforts debauched and with veins of criminality open now ....like sewers.

Who now will be shaking your deadly  Makarov cocktails? What did Correa align Ecuador with viz a viz the Russo-Iranian nexus of evil? Ask.

-Pedro Camargo for ECrisis
