A new Birth of Freedom Awaits While Venezuelans, Ecuadoreans and Obama-Americans Apply Manipulative Tools to Self-Aggrandize
September 30, 2009 No man owns the market on religion. Some men and women try to control the market on non-religious matters, usually to very very bad ends. Currently, Evo Morales of Bolivia is very busy blaming the Pope, Catholics and white Europeans for ruining Brazil. Morales of course makes a great poster child for those Desparately in Need of Facts and Western history studies. Man is not perfect and no nation is perfect. However, no nation does well without essential freedoms. You may want to watch this movie trailer about those who gave up all they had to live with freedom and gave their lives to end slavery in all forms:
Rediscovering Our Heritage. Somehow we get the feeling that it is that personal pledge to mutually protect and defend essential freedoms that so many today have decided are not worth fighting for. We really hope they grow up soon.
Please read here: "UnderstandingThe Mess in Honduras", one of the best reviews of Chavez's malevolence in Horduras, following his disgusting perversion called the Ecuadorean government as it exists today.
For the past three months most of the world has marched in lock-step behind Manuel Zelaya's demand to be reinstated as the president of Honduras. Last week Zelaya returned surreptitiously to Tegucigalpa, where he is now using the Brazilian embassy as a base for rallying his supporters at home and abroad. The Honduran government has ruled that this must stop, and now, for the first time, serious domestic unrest is a real possibility.
You can also watch aFoxNews interview with Newt Gingrich on Obama, Iran-UN, and Honduras here.
Pay attention to Gingrich's words about Iran "a dictatorship dedicated to terrorism" gathering momentum and Honduras which is "a very big deal..." "...the sympathy for the Left is unending [ by Obama]. You are seeing the re-dictatorship of Latin America .... by the Left."
Does anyone alive doubt that this is what the US. Democratic Party, the ALBA cartels and the Soros agents of lurking are all about? Ask yourself: do you feel better knowing that Chavez is now controlling your life? Anyone?
As Hamilton said, dialogues and installing obsequious functionaries, called today paid governmental and union workers, often ends up with tyranny. Tyranny does not even have to refer to one single person but often does.
"Of those men who have overturned the liberties of republics, the greatest number have begun their career by paying an obsequious court to the people, commencing demagogues and ending tyrants."
Alexander Hamilton, Federalist No. 1, October 27, 1787
Tyrants end freedom. This week, the OAS revealed an unbearably ugly, dishonest presentation of itself: no facts, no truths and nothing resembling growing trust. Dusgracefully, not one nation called back their overpaid OAS teams. The OAS said they came to judge Michiletti. THey judged themselves and showed themselves to be....losers.
Read again: "In their own as well as Honduran interests, this is the hour for moderate American nations to take back control of the OAS from the radicals and to accept any resolution that is made by Hondurans for Hondurans."
The author, William Ratliff, concludes:
"The bottom line question is whether the truth, the rule of law, democracy and national sovereignty really mean anything or whether those are just the slogans and manipulative tools of self-aggrandizing politicians and analysts."
Well said. If you enjoy manipulating reality, you will enjoy a world without rule of lwa. This of course means too you have no democracy and no freedoms. Good luck with that. Maybe the always cynical Marxist-selling, US Department of State and Chavez-funded Noam Chomsky will help you out of your unending night mare. Then again, he lives in a place where real men fought and died to defend free speech and real religions, which he disavows anyway.
