December 16, 2011  Here is Ecuadorean media star Jorge  Ortiz interviewing a pro-Cuban so called opposition member of the Ecuadorean Cuban-style Assembly, Sra Amores. Of course the Ecuadorean “congress” must not ever any more even remotely be called a representational, democratically functioning congress of a Republic due to the structural over-ride of all assembly “officials” by the legally installed partnering by law of the head of their assembly and the president of Ecuador, both with full veto powers and total control of their kangaroo assembly, Cuban style. The unfree Ecuadorean kangaroo assembly is doomed  to failure should any dissent with Correa, as designed. Arbitrary threats and decisions for dissent do occur but the chances of grace and good governance and certainly equal representation under law by that assembly is useless and dishonestly degrading as a false face that representational democracy exists in Ecuador, for it does not.

Comes now assembly woman Amores, an avowed Cuban communist, with Ortiz to tell of her recent great visit to Washington, D.C. which was supposed to be a visit by the “bi-partisan opposition” to Correa  in his assembly. There can be no question that any who utter one word against Correa receives death threats and likely jail time or an end to one’s statist hand out career monies whether this be a public office, the media or the private sector: all work for Correa or else. As to any bi-partisan movements, technically speaking no real bi partisan activity exists because no one but the hand picked Correa political parties can exist. But we do not want to get in to the weeds here.

The Ecuadorean five came to Washington to save the Organization of American States [OAS] from the hated U.S. Republicans who they have been informed seek to diminish US AID funding and monies for the OAS. Each of the five assembly members said nothing against their own responsibility- their own very public activities to install Correa and his Cuban-ALBA constitution. They simply will never take responsibility for this. And with mounting death threats and a now-cancelled threat to silence/gag a fellow leftist from the Assembly- Galo Lara, an unlikely champion for freedom, we hear from the hapless Washingtonian lobbyists what the group sought: money for the OAS to supposedly assist their efforts to secure human rights in a land with no rights for humans but by their constitution, listed rights for plants, animals and amoebas, also called stomach parasites from impure food and water, another unspeakable by product of socialized medicine and total state control of a nation which benefits a small few.

The hapless Five are badly educated and seriously misinformed in their daily loathing for U.S. conservatives who, as noted in the interview, still despise the hated U.S. Republicans. Note the assembly woman’s disgust over having to see Congresswoman Ros-Lehtinen who did indeed welcome this motley gang, under false pretenses and with absolutely no staff preparation as to why they were inside her private offices, the Ecuadoreans clearly stated they wanted nothing to do with Republicans except to beg them for more money for the OAS to save Ecuadoreans from Correa who has removed any pretense to justice. A judicial removal system which they helped create and do now seek money for some magical fix from the OAS even as Correa threatens to withdraw from the OAS should the OAS actually do one thing honestly. Of course the Ecuadorean five feel the pressure of Correa’s extortionary threats and are concerned that the feckless OAS continue to receive much more money. To save them from that which they created and to arm Ecuador with more unenforceable human rights protections, rights which their own constitution, co-funded and blessed by the OAS, the Obama team and all U.S. AID officials involved in Latin America. The Ecuadorean five demand money for the OAS but refused to permit anyone to review or correct their Cuban ALBA constitution. The U.S. Democrats agree even as U.S. Republicans refuse any review of what the USA is doing with U.S. monies in Ecuador, unaccountable/opaque packages past several billions now.

The U.S. House Republicans were welcoming and polite to the Ecuadorean five. The five were rude, dismissive, constantly late for meetings and treated U.S. congressional persons as toads, flunkies for their wise and munificent Ecuadorean presence. Quickly, Western Hemisphere folks grasped the demise of the Ecuadorean Five as disorganized, unprofessional, unprepared, uneducated….and blatantly crass lobbyists for more funds from U.S. taxpayers.

Not one of the Ecuadorean five sought one fact nor offered any except that Correa had disappointed their communist heaven-on-earth dreams and that Correa had stripped judicial independence which they maintained would be corrected by the OAS.

The entire visit reminds us of the type of organized lobbying performed sotto voce by one of State Department’s favorite OAS purveyors, John Sanbrailo who is aligned with Roger Noriega, Linda Jewell and Peter Romero as well as Ivonne abdel Baki and her son Muhammad, last seen hawking fraud called Stanford investments which lost billions for Ecuadoreans and cost Ms a Baki her return to DC as ambassador. Not to worry: she has dispatched her well trained pet toy, the utterly dishonest Ms. Celi.

Note well the claim that the Ecuadorean five were forced into- had to- see those Republicans in the U.S. House. And while busily selling false analyses of the U.S. form of constitutional government,  this gang of Marxist-Leftists pretended that the U.S. congresspersons are called senators and believe they are all powerful when indeed they are not. The ignorance and lack of preparedness was rank.

When asked about replacing the 9-08 Cuban-ALBA constitution of Ecuador, all five said this was impossible because Ecuadoreans desire that legalization of all that should never be legitimized and which of course legally bans democracy and liberty in Ecuador. Each of the Ecuadoreans were advised to reach out to U.S. media and relay the facts. Each refused, noting that they never review U.S. media and one even noted that because Correa despises the U.S. media, they should not anger him more.

When asked who is their best friend in the USA, one member quickly replied that this would be the Inter American Dialogue. And when asked what they have done to assist Ecuador, we were informed that they talk a lot about Ecuadorean issues. And when asked How Is That Working Out for Ecuadoreans-? The assemblista appeared dumbstruck.

$49 million at least flows to the OAS-John Sanbrailo for his PADF [check here: http://www.padf.org/ht/display/ContentDetails/i/79047/pid/24762], last seen sharing winking and nodding sessions at the American Enterprise with Roger Noriega, for reasons we cannot fathom.  $49 million under Sanbrailo management- now with luxe offices also in Miami-  is more than Sanbrailo managed in portfolio for US AID for far too many years before he handed the reigns to his well tutored Lars Klassen who was removed for sexual impropriety claims with young women, claims alleged by his wife. Sanbrailo as Ecuadorean US AID director used U.S. tax dollars to pay a variety of locals in the 1990s with no accountability and goals we cannot fathom, approved by his chum then ambassador Romero. Numerous card carrying communists took Sanbrailo money and remain over 15 years later as fully funded US AID workers, living off US money to do horribly dishonest work. One of the 5 assemblistas worked under Sanbrailo for years as he lived and breathed and had his being off of the U.S. monies, now telling us all that Sanbrailo way to send more money to the OAS to save them from their own corruption is the best effort. We disagree with these fraudsters.

Sanbrailo PADF of the OAS  is mostly funded by U.S. taxpayers through US AID and State Department. Sanbrailo uses US tax monies to lobby for Cuban Marxists to secure more taxpayer monies, using liars and idiots such as the Ecuadorean five shamefully to do his bidding while hovering outside the Congressional hallways.

Real opposition leaders in Ecuador can barely get a flight out of Ecuador to come to the USA due to Correa’s criminal games and restrictions on truth telling. The Ecuadorean Five suffered no such travel problems. Correa knows well that this 5 will continuously encourage the U.S. taxpayer to keep sending more and more personnel to Ecuador to fraudulently report back that Ecuador is actually pretty wonderful under Correa, Cuba and Iran. We disagree.

John Sanbrailo has done this same exercise many times before and we have no cause not to assume that he was behind the Ecuadorean five’s lobbying foray to demand more U.S. monies for the OAS simply because this is what he has done for over 15 years.

Tragically, each of the participants involved with the Ecuadorean five broke US federal laws in many ways. Worse: they abused the good graces of Americans who are aware  that Ecuador is in deep deep criminal trouble with global criminals and terrorists, with no doubt some entrée by the visitor’s organizers  but never detailed as no facts were on the table…only whines and ginned up excuses as to why more money is demanded….for Sanbrailo, we can assume, and the profligate, unaccountable OAS which does nothing of consequence. In fact the Ecuadorean five accomplished nothing of consequence except to try to sell the urgency for more OAS monies.

Had any actually sought to help the OAS perform and correctly use the millions gifted to the OAS by generous U.S. taxpayers, they would have urged the OAS to do its job and also terminate its utter unaccountability, called funding fraud.

We have no cause not to assume that the OAS and US AID prerogatives were lobbied hard- and illegally under full pretext by the Ecuadorean five for we have seen these activities before. These efforts degrade serious truth tellers, cover up the urgent need for facts and denude the naked truth about Correa’s Ecuador, always seeking to make the best the enemy of the good.

Ecuadorean Assemblista Betty Amores summarized the Ecuadorean Five’s goals before the U.S. Congress, loosely translated here:

             a) she defended Correa's constitution as the best in the world

             b)  she states  she went to DC to try to save the OAS

              c) for that purpose, the Ecuadorean five "had to" meet `the head of the Foreign Affairs Committee... those from Florida, you know, that do not care if the OAS vanishes, since it did nothing for Cuba.’

Not one U.S. penny should attend these actors who have misrepresented not only themselves but indeed lied to the U.S. Congress to enhance monies for a dishonest agenda through the OAS. It is very clear the Ecuadorean five lobbied for monies for the OAS. This is in the style of John Sanbrailo who is deeply entrenched with Clinton era and still active Obama-era Raul Gangotena, Linda Jewell, Ivonne abdel-Baki, Peter Romero and a hefty variety of hard left operatives. Nothing about any of this is accountable or legitimate.

Truth tellers from Ecuador are desperately needed and their urgent message is rapidly being snuffed out by Cuban communists and Iranian operatives moving across the Correa government.

Unspoken by the OAS, US AID and the entire U.S. Congressional staffs is the crying need for fact based Dossiers regarding Correa’s Ecuador and what it does and with whom. Seen any facts lately about how many FARC and Hezbollah and Cuban spies are active in Ecuador today? Seen any facts regarding Correa’s control of about 95% of all media and his clamp down on free speech? Seen any facts regarding Correa’s bond fraud and his theft of common businesses? Seen any data at all? Glossing over the Ecuadorean-FARC-Iran-Cuban mergers so that the OAS can pretend that they are saving the universe from human rights abuses, in a time and in a place with no rights for humans, is cruel, deceptive and indicates the loss of integrity by U.S. Congresspersons managing U.S. taxpayer monies. Why efforts thrive to defraud the U.S. Congress remain a mystery. More mysterious remains a question we have posed for many years: why do the U.S. taxpayers give money for efforts such as Sanbrailo’s PADF which soothes with pretty words through the OAS but accomplished nothing.
